I didn't understand what it really meant to be a Christian because I struggled with this, this just concept of like, could I even be. Could I even be a good Christian, right, Quote, unquote, good Christian, and still pursue business, still pursue making money? Could I be even successful? Because every Christian that I knew, for the most part, especially growing up in South Dakota, every, every Christian that I, that I knew, right against. I'm just saying, stating this as like, self professed Christian, they were broke, they were broken, and they were defeated. And so I developed this mindset that in order to be a Christian, I had to be broke, broken and defeated.
