All right, all right. Happy Friday, everybody. Welcome back to the King's Council. You got myself, Mr. Christian Edwards from a remote location here. You guys. You guys know what we're about, though. We're gonna have some unfiltered conversations. We talk about current events, politics. We do this all from a kingdom perspective, and we got a fun topic that we're gonna dive in today. We figured this was a great way to set the stage for 2026. But before we get into that. Christian.
Yeah.
Look like you're in. In a, like, brick prison cell or something, brother.
It does outside. I am home back home in Dallas. And, I mean, we told everybody we'd be doing this from Punta Cana, and we did actually go to Punta Cana if you can't tell by the tan. You know, I. I'm a slightly less pale version than what I was. You, too. You didn't tan much yourself.
Well, thank you. Thank you. I guess.
White to get it to pop.
To make it pop.
Yeah, I'm still. I'm still pale. Still pale. But you wound up having a sick kiddo. And yes, your wife didn't make it down, so you left early. And then I didn't realize when last week we recorded that I was heading home on the first anyway, so it was going to be you and Puta Cana and me here. Anyway, so I'm home. I'm actually on my back patio, you know, with the lighting and everything. This seemed to be the best. So it does just look like I am in a prison cell somewhere or a prison wall dungeon. But as I just told you, my house is not my own. We have family here, so. Yeah, this is as good as it gets for me. The remote.
All right, brother. I. I'll. I'll pick up the slack today. I'm. I'm excited to. To dive into this today, but, yeah, we did. We had a great time down in Putacana. Most of our. Our rest of our company is all flying home today, but as Christian did mention, we had to take off a few days early. I did have a sick kiddo. My wife Ash didn't even get to make the trip, but it was a great time. Ellie and I just got to have our kind of our daddy daughter trip that we always do on an annual basis, so it was great. Always just fun to get away with our team kind of reflect review and relaunch. If you didn't listen to last week's episode, that's what we really dove into as we're we're really kind of laying this, this, the foundation here as we're heading into 2026. We hadn't really talked about this, Christian, but I know, you know, a lot of churches, a lot of people even come up with like a word for the year. Have you thought through this? There's one word that I just keeps coming to mind when we've been in conversation. You've said it, you said it a couple times in our meeting down in the Dominican. But I'm wondering, do you have a specific word for yourself?
Yes, that word is increase.
I knew it, brother. Yeah, it's been flowing out of your mouth over the last couple weeks. So I stand in agreement with that, man. I believe this is going to be a year of increase and in. For, for our listeners as well. If you guys have a, A word, if you, if you do that. We've. We've been doing this for the past, what, five, six years, I guess, in, in within the King's Council, where we've kind of come up with a word, something that God lays on your heart. There's nothing really scriptural about it, but I think it is, it is kind of fun just to like, what is God speaking to me and, and how can I actually, you know, make that declaration to, you know, set the vision in, in front of me, make it plain so we can actually follow through with those steps. So increase. I like it. Increases is definitely one that I can, I can come into agreement with. So. But let us know if you guys in the chat, we're curious if, if you have a word for the year. I'm always curious to, to even just stand in agreement with you on that and you know how we can help, help you help me help you type of situation within that.
So, yeah.
Neville, what's happening, brother from Chattanooga? Good to see you on, man. Good to see you on.
Yeah. I actually made it back to the room on New Year's Eve. You know, you had to leave early on the trip once you realized Ash and Titus weren't coming. But the New Year's Eve shindig that we had, we had the dinner, gave out the last few awards, got them to the guys, and then we went over to Dude. It was loud. They put on a show, a party. It was loud. And pretty much everybody, at least us old guys, we started making our way back to the rooms before midnight and stopped at the sports bar. Not to drink or anything, but because the college football game was on and I found a couple of our guys blocking the game. But I went back to the room, want to make sure Lucy walked as he back to the room. A little bit earlier. I got there for midnight and I just got put a word on my heart for the family and it being about increase. And I believe that God's going to increase, increase is going to come in so many ways. Now of course, finances is one that is big. People want an increase in finances, but really increase in the relationship with the Lord first and foremost. And that's, that's like increasing my, my own discipline, right? Because everything that he increases in my life is probably going to be because I increase my devotion to him, my discipline and my time with him, so on and so forth, so that. But then just the love I have for everybody, the more the increase in love that I receive from Jesus, the more, the more I could love others. And then ultimately finances was like the last thing on the list. It's like if everything else increases our capacities, if our capacities increase because we're all busy, we all get stressed out about things, we have a to do list, the size of our arm, but if we could increase our capacity. And it's not just burning the candle at both ends, it's just being strengthened by the Lord. And one of the, one of the big things though, I want to mention this that I was so grateful for. And you know, we've talked about this, you know, you know, waiting till January 1st to set your New Year's resolutions and if you're going to wait till January 1, you're not going to stick with it. If there's anything on your heart that you want to do, start today. But I didn't even share this with you. My brother in law, on Christmas Eve when he was at the family party they had up in New Jersey, he got a call from a guy that works for him that his son, who is 21, died in a car accident. State troopers came to his house to tell him his son died in a car accident. And I was so grateful that I think, you know, 20, 25 came and went and I didn't get any phone calls like that. You know, there may be things like obstacles or you know, crap hit the fan in certain ways in your life. But at the end, nothing major for me, thank God, nothing major, no phone calls, nobody was terribly sick, nobody had any big issues and forbid you get a phone call or somebody knocks on the door that your child died in a car accident. I was just so grateful and it made me. Lucy and I spent some time in prayer that night, being so grateful for every blessing that we could see, every blessing we're aware of. But then everything that we, that God spared us from as well, that sometimes we don't even think about, we just kind of take it for granted that, oh yeah, another day went by, nothing bad happened. And we don't realize oftentimes that's God working in the background. We don't know how many angels are surrounding us right now. Right. That are actually protecting us. How many times have you walked across the street and you almost got hit by a car? Me, a couple times in my life, usually when I was young. But how many times did that car not even get close to you? Because our God, our, our creator, our protector, he just, you know, that that car stalled that was, you know, meant to hit us a mile down the road. So it was just a, an appreciation wrapping up the year in appreciation for, for God and the things he's done and the things that he has done and spared me from that, you know, I'm oblivious to.
Yes, man. Yeah, dude, that's great. That just, again, the, the concept of just remembering what the Lord's done, even if it wasn't, as you mentioned, it wasn't like this huge event, good or bad in your life, but all the things that his he's, you know, most likely spared you from. Some people living maybe that feel like they're living a boring life, you know, that's something to be grateful for, right, if, if it is, if you're not experiencing those hardships or you know, those terrible phone calls that you had mentioned. But yeah, again, just another call to action if, if for people. If you haven't listened to last week's episode on Reflecting, reviewing and ultimately a lot of that is just remembering and just remembering the Lord. So many scriptures give us just reference to just remember remembering what the Lord has done because that just, it's a heart's posture for us of just understanding, you know, the, the, the crap he brought us from and through. If you are, you know, a, a blood bot believer and, and that he does have good things in store for you, like, and if you have gone through hardships in those tough times, he is still sovereign, right? And he. He works all things for the good of those that love him, right. And are called according to his purposes. And, and that's just a hope and an encouragement for us if it was a rough year. And again, just changing the calendar doesn't do anything, but it is kind of just a mark that it. With that our culture has kind of, you know, played into for the last centuries. So we're gonna. We're gonna just utilize this as a good time to rest, reflect and review, but ultimately relaunch here into 2026. And the best way to do that, the best way to do that is what we're gonna dive into today. Guys, if you saw the. The title of this, we call this commanding the morning, which is ultimately giving God our first fruits of the day, right? A lot of people just equate this to money. They think it's like the first fruits of our. Our possessions. Proverbs 3. 9 tells us to honor God with a. With our wealth. But there's multiple translations. If you just go Google that verse, there's multiple different translations. Actually. The King James just calls it substance, which I thought was really interesting. Just honor. Honor the Lord with your substance and things are going to go well for you, right? And I think the most valuable thing that any of us have on this earth is time, right? And if we can position ourselves or posture ourselves on a daily basis this year into 2026 by honoring God, what He can do in our lives, I think is going to be incredible. Right? And, and ultimately it's not even about what he can do for us, because it shouldn't be about that. Let me say that we're selfish little brats. That. Can I be real. Let me, let me know in the chat if, if you guys, if we really think about this, we become selfish little brats. Because every little thing that. That happens, it's either happiness to us or. Or against us. And at the end of the day, if our heart's posture and position is like, no, this is I'm here for God's glory and his glory only it. Because we take on an eternal mindset that then just. It opens the door for so many things to take place in your life where these little interruptions or these hiccups don't all of a sudden just bring you down in the moment. But it's. We're looking for opportunity in which God is moving in that time, right? And like, how can I. How can I actually, you know, not that we have to assist God, but how can I be sensitive to Holy Spirit and like, just have the spiritual discernment to. To be open and available, right? And if we make ourselves available to the Lord and we do this first thing in the morning, our heart is already going to be positioned in that posture to now just be more sensitive and to attune to what he's calling us in his leading direction on a daily basis. Because at the end of the day, guys, if you're like me, right, this darn phone right here, I even have it in my, my. It's like buzzing as I'm sitting here going on. It's like, it's just a distraction, right? But the, the especially in the morning and, and it, my heart or my, my desire out of today's episode is that we would reposition how we wake up in the morning because the habits that we create in our life ultimately lead into the fruit that we have, right? And, and if we can discipline, we can start to live a life by design versus just the natural default in our life taking on those disciplines and doing these little things. And again, a lot of this I just want to make sure it's not about a legalistic way of oh, I've got to serve God in this manner, but it's, it's. I get to and I want to because I love him and I want to bring him honor and I want to bring him glory in all that I do. And, and most of us. And dude, I got a 16 month old about to have another newborn here in the next couple months. God willing. Mornings are tough. And so part of this, I'm speaking to myself, but, but we know that there's grace in all these situations. But, but if the, the point of, of today's episode is really just to, to get ourselves into that, that heart's disposition of this of man. I want to honor God with my first fruits, right? And I'm not going to allow the, the worry of today, right? Or even tomorrow or the stress and the busyness of just what's going on in life to, to interfere with that. Because if, if, and for our listeners too, I know we got a lot of moms that are listening on here. We, we tend to take care of everybody else, right? Our kiddos in the, in the family first. We're waking up. I'm, I'm. I do this at 5:28 this morning. I'm up with Titus and, and it's just we, we tend to do those things. But even if we can position our heart to just a few minutes, just an acknowledgment to the Lord, right? Giving him our best offering, right, that first fruit. I know I, I do absolutely know we're going to go through a lot of scripture today on just how God will honor that, how we can live the blessed life, right? And the blessed life or the abundant life that, that he, John 10:10 says that he has come to give us the Abundant life isn't an abundant life of possessions. It's not an abundant life of money even. It's not. It's. But it's, it's. It's a. It's an abundant life of God's love and his mercy and his grace, right? And, and it, when we position ourselves as Matthew 6 tells us to seek first the kingdom and all those things. The 32 verses prior to that is the worry and the stress, like, what are we going to eat? What are we going to drink? What are we going to wear? If we can seek first the kingdom in all, all things, everything else is going to be taken care of, right? And so it's just the busyness of 2025. I'm declaring we're leaving that behind. The first things that we're going to in the morning, we're going to leave that behind. And we're going to position ourselves to make ourselves available here in 2026 for what God can actually use. So I know none of that was in our notes Christian, but, you know, I tend to just go on little tangents, brother.
It's good. It's so important what we're talking about today. And it's kind of the secret sauce to this thing called being a Christian, our sanctification. You know, so many times people want to dive deeper and they want counsel, discipleship and, you know, what do I do? What could I do different? And it's this, Start your day with the Lord, command your morning. And I even think of David in Psalm 63, where he says, God, you are. Oh, God, you are my God. Early, I will seek you. Right? He says, my soul thirsts for you, My flesh longs for you. And a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So what David's saying, there is everything that my soul and even my flesh is longing for. It ain't going to be found in the world. It's going to be found in God, in God alone. So early, I'm going to seek that. I'm going to fulfill the cravings of my soul, that thirsty soul, that, that. That longing and hungry flesh that I have. I'm going to get it all satisfied, satiated, first thing in the morning. Early, I will seek you. And there's just something so, so pristine about waking up when everything's still, quiet and everything's still, still and having that alone time with the Lord. I thought I had it this morning myself. I got up early. I knew Ezzy and Lucy were still asleep, but you know, the Grand Kiddos have been staying with us. And as soon as they heard me downstairs, they came running down. It was like, I know they weren't up until I was up, but they were just like waiting for us to get home last night and we got home late and yeah, so I didn' get that alone time. I, I still took some time to pray with them and everything, but that alone time. But as you mentioned, it can be difficult with kiddos because if you wake up at 5 to pray, they'll wake up at 4:45. If you wake up at 4:45, they'll wake up at 4 30.
It's that never seems to fail, brother. I've, I've tried that so many times, but I, I still, I think it, that is just your heart's posture is to do, to, to do those things right. And I want us to have a clear understanding of what like the first fruits actually is because I did mention this, you know, it's easy to equate things to a lot about money in. And you know, we, we hear giving God your first fruits. Our mind obviously always goes to the tithe, which by the way, for our listeners, we've got for the next few months, starting in a couple weeks, we are diving heavily into money. Part of this is, is the impending book three of the Kingdom Entrepreneur series that that Christian and I have been working on for man the last year and a half, at least maybe close to two years. And we finally have, have put the, the finishing touches on this thing and we'll be, we'll be launching that here in the next month or so for you guys. But also we, we've just taken that book entirely essentially, and we're going to be going through, you know, probably seven, eight, nine, ten weeks of, of just concepts about money or what we, we would call these Kingdom money principles, one being ownership, that, that God owns everything, right? That, that needs to be our heart's disposition. First stewardship, right? And back to the how how we can even equate this, this ownership or excuse me, these money principles into time principles. God owns all the time, right? He, he created it, right? And in Genesis it said let there be light. And then he went on and he gave us the, the, the atmosphere we live in, the, the structure and the order he placed the, the sun, the moon in the sky. He gave us the, the seasons, the daytime, everything. Like he created all of that. So he owns it, right? And, and our, our second money principle is stewardship, meaning that we're just his managers. And so when I think of that into this correlation with time, it's like I'm just managing the time, right? Management is, is not about just keeping the status quo. If any of you gave your money to a money manager, you're never giving it to them, hopefully just to get it all back. No, you're expecting a return. There is a return on, on that investment, right? And our time shouldn't be any different, right? Ephesians 5 tells us to redeem the time, to buy back the time. And ultimately then worship is, is what I really believe. The tithe that first fruits is a spiritual act of worship, right? It is, it is you saying, God, you are first in my life. And, and why I, I think that is so important is because of all things in the Bible, literally all things in the Bible, there was only one thing that, that Jesus literally said that you cannot serve both God and mammon money, right? The spirit of money, right? He didn't say you can't serve both God and the devil. You can't serve both God and, and lust. You can't serve both God and evil. No. But it is, you can't serve both God and mammon money. The spirit that money has attached to it. And when we, when we understand that, man, I'm getting, I'm so excited to get into those, those money principles with you guys over the next few months. But, but back to just the, the time concept of that. It's, it's like I, I know that the only way that I'm going to serve God, I'm going to steward it well and walk in this kingship that he's given me, which is our fourth principle, is I've got to give it to him first. Right? And meaning I'm not even giving what's mine, I'm giving what he has just allowed me to have. Right? And when we equate this to our time, it's an understanding that he should have our hearts first, right? And so the first fruits and everything that we, we do in life, it should be to honor him with it. Okay? And, and when we, when we correlate this to, to time, this is where I think we need to, to really understand because we all, we all have the same amount in a day, right? It's like there's these 24 hours we all have, we've been given the same amount. But why is it that some people are so much more productive and, than others and, and even back to money, the, the concept of, in Malachi, where God says to test him in this is to stop robbing God Right. To test him with this first fruit with the tithe, lay it before him. Because he will do more with that 90%, that he will do way more with that 90% than you could do with a hundred percent. And our time is not going to be any different when we position ourselves and we honor God in that and, and understand that it's. Whether it's money or it's your time. God doesn't need your time, okay? He created time. So we have to understand that. But the concept of a first fruit is that it is the, it's the first thing that's picked, right? If you think about it from a crop standpoint, it's like the first thing that's picked, but in your heart standpoint, the first thing in the morning when I wake up, what's the first thing that I'm picking to put my mind on? What is that? Right? It's, it's giving us the best quality. And, and when we wake up in the morning, you may be a little bit, a little bit groggy, right? You want to get some caffeine in you or something like that first, but go get that caffeine and then give God that first quality time. The, the, the best quality that you can possibly give him. And again, he doesn't need it for his. Even from the crop standpoint. It's not like he needs it for his personal production or the money standpoint. God doesn't need money, right? He, he created it all. But what he wants is your heart. And he knows the, the biggest thing back to money is that he. That's the, the huge pull within your heart. And, and what are we doing? Where are we spending our time? And, and can we position a mindset? No. I'm investing this time into the Lord because I know he's going to do way more. He's going to multiply that and allow me to have wisdom, allow me to have strategy, to take on the day, this to do, list all these tasks that seem to be never ending. It's wild, man. When I've just, I've had many days, it just in the last six years of, of this, you know, truly seeing Jesus as Lord of my life, where you get overwhelmed, you get anxious, there's so much. I've, I have way more things than what time will allow in. And the, the concept of, of set setting some time aside and devoting it to the Lord seems completely counterintuitive to what the world will tell us, right? It's like, wait a minute, I gotta give God My best time. My. The. The first time. Heck time at all. I don't even have time to do that. I actually just started reading Charlie Kirk's new book Christian, which is so freaking good. I'm only two chapters into this thing, but this was a huge revelation for him, which was. Is really. It's all about the Sabbath. And this is something that I'm going to. I'm committed to implementing this year into my life of just truly taking a Sabbath meaning I'm. I'm not going to work, which is one thing that I love to do right. But I. Through this again, just this kind of sanctification process over the past few years. I do know that that can sometime be positioned to an idol in my life. And, and just because I love it, I, I know God's given me the ability to. To do it. It's still not enough to. Versus just honoring him, right? Knowing that the Sabbath even was given to us for us because he does know we need to rest at times. But also it's just a, it's a, it's a heart's posture of like, no, I'm gonna, I'm gonna take this time. I'm gonna set it aside in honor the Lord. I'm gonna spend time with Him. I'm gonna read His Word, I'm gonna pray. But also a big thing in my life this year I'm implementing is actually listening. Because how many know that sometimes prayer seems to be like our to do list versus oftentimes prayer when Jesus we'll go through again some scriptures of this of like when he departed first thing in the morning, early in the morning when it was still dark out, he wasn't going just to give God his to do list like this is what it needs to do. But he was there to receive, right?
He.
He was listening for the Lord and, and, and listening like what. What is it that. That you have for me today? And if our prayers here in 2026 transitioned from just this is my to do list, this is what I'm praying for. So I'm believing for God to what is it that you have for me? What if we. We positioned our hearts and we just paused for a moment and sat with the Lord and just listened and, and took time to honor him in that. Because God wants to speak. He's always speaking. The challenge oftentimes is our busyness, our distractions. This dang phone keeps going off and, and we get distracted. Right? And, and so let's, let's position this even though again it is Seems counterintuitive to giving that, that first time to God or that even the anytime at all it might seem counterintuitive to this to do list or tasks that we always have done. It's so key for the believer's life. Biggest thing in my opinion on this is that if you struggle with this, and again, this has been a struggle with me is what it's doing is it's revealing idols in your life. Right. Even at the first thing, any morning in the morning. Let me just ask any of you listening, what's the first thing that you. That comes to mind when you wake up in the morning? You can probably think of it this morning wasn't that long ago you woke up. Like, what is the first thing that came to mind? Okay, a heart. Again, I struggled with this and am challenging myself on this. Is that, is that an idol in my life? Right? Meaning am I putting that before God? Right. Do I have trust issues with that? Is it because usually the first thing that it's like today's to do list or tasks or maybe it's something exciting that I get to go do today or oh man, I got to get on and make some tough phone calls today. Either way, if, if our hearts, if our, if our posture toward this isn't like, lord, you have given me this day, I'm going to rejoice, I'm going to be glad in it. This is something that we should work on here in 2026.
Right?
Because we don't want to be self sufficient in any way. It's God that gives us any sufficiency at all. Right? The capacity Christian that you were talking about, it's. It's like if he's given you a vision and any vision that you have for 2026, if he's given you that vision, he will give you the capacity to fulfill it. If you acknowledge him first, if you position this first, like God, if there's anything in my life, then this is a, was a huge thing for me the past four years when, when as God's been working on me. It's like my prayer and these are dangerous prayers to pray. Okay. My. But my prayer was, lord, if there's anything in my life, there's anything that is, that is putting, that I'm putting ahead of you. If that that comes, that is coming before you, I'm asking you to take it away. And you know what he did? He did. And it was a very, very difficult time in our life over the past couple years. But it was just this refining Process. It was a pruning season for us. That, that has positioned me to the point where it's like, man, I don't want anything except just the fruit. That. That comes from just spending time with the Lord. And this is a process. It may not be any of your heart's desire or posture right now, but if you make yourself, if you discipline yourself to do these things, he will reveal himself to you.
Right.
Scripture tells us to draw near to him and he will draw near to you. That means you need to take these first steps. This is where we have to come into play and, and implement these disciplines into our life. Christian. What do you got, man?
Amen. Amen. I was hitting the meat button a few times because there's a fire department right here too. And apparently, yeah, The puta cana vibes going on. There you go.
That's right. That's right.
Well, I want to go back to what you said a little bit earlier, which is so bush league that we all have the same 24 hours in, in the day. Listen, I'm like, at my leg, I break my day into six four hour days. Therefore, if I have six days in every day that at the end of the week, I have 42 days. While all you guys trying to hustle and get things done, you only have seven days in a week. I have 42 days in a week. Okay, just want to make that clear right there.
Yes, yes, I know what you're referencing. If anybody like, follows. I don't even remember that guy's name. But, you know, a lot of personal development people, Ed Mylet is, is big on this. He created a video of, you know, just boastfully saying that he gets all these different, more days than anybody else, which is just kind of a moronic thing to say. But in the personal development world, there's a lot of moronic things that, that take place. And if you're a follower, but you're.
Right, that's a little much.
Yes, yes. But do you remember that guy's name? Because he is so hilarious. He just, he goes and knocks, these gurus, we'll call them, that, that just they, they think they're giving hacks to people. But at the end of the day, it's like, what? That, that makes zero sense at all.
Something foggy. Yeah, but, but yeah, he'll say, you know, like Grant Cardone will say, just take your first million and do this with that. And he's like, well, why, why start with your first million, Start with the first billion. And then 10x that and then why 10x a bajillionx that and it will be bajillionaire in by next week.
Yeah. It's so hilarious. It's so funny. That's the first thing that came to my mind when you started talking. And then I was like, then I knew where you were going. So I appreciate that.
So I don't even know what I was going to say beyond that, quite frankly.
I love it. Well, go ahead, let's get into this. Of. I mean, I think we understand the concept of giving God our first fruits because I think a lot of, a lot of people, me included, we oftentimes give God the remainder. Right. And that's still, I'm gonna just say honorable for that because something's better than nothing for those that are listening. But a challenge to you to reverse that. Right? Let's. Let's change that. Let's repent and say, lord, I. I want to give you my, my first fruit. Right? Which is the time in my day versus just giving them the leftovers. Right? And. And when we do that, because I, I've. I'm thinking of like the, the story in Luke the. The widow's offering. I'm gonna just pull. I pulled this scripture up earlier, Christian. So the widow's offering, this is Luke chapter 21. As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. Truly, I tell you, he said the poor. The poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth, but she, out of her poverty, she put in all that she had to live on, right? So it. Let's correlates back to time. You may think, I don't have time to do all of this. Well, if you don't have time to do it, you don't have time not to do it. Right? It's the same thing I, I say with the tither. If you can't afford the tithe, you can't afford not to tithe. Okay.
It.
It. Because this is, it's a, it's a disposition that you're, you're changing kingdoms in this. Like, do you want to live in the, the kingdom of the world, right. Or do you want to live within the kingdom of heaven? And, and things are most of the times completely opposite versus the world, right? We're told in, in scripture, if you just look at all these different parables that, that Jesus gives and, and when he talks about the kingdom, it's like if you want to be first, well, you got to be last, okay? The world says that's idiotic. Okay? If you want to, if you want to have a harvest, right, you've gotta. Or, excuse me, if you want to receive, you first got to give, right? And that doesn't, that doesn't make sense to the world, right? This is why generosity is such a, a huge component in the believer's life. Because God wants to pour out his blessings upon us, but we have to put ourselves in a position to receive them, right? This is, this is part of our part. These spiritual laws, these kingdom principles that he has. I, I really believe is, is more important for our time than any of anything about money that we'll be diving into the next few months. It. But they're, they're, they can be trick traded out if, if every principle that, that, you know, we give about money and those concepts, they can be traded for, for time as well, right? Because this time is again, we all have it. We don't know God. God has set our days in place. We don't know when we're leaving this earth. These flesh suits. But man, we are called to occupy until he comes. We, we are called to, we're called builders. We're referred to as builders in scripture. And if we're not building his kingdom, what are we doing, right? Because these are the things that we are going to be accountable for when he. When we sit in, each and every one of us. If you're a believer, right, each and every one of us will sit at the judgment seat of Christ. If you're not a believer, you ain't going to get that far. You're going to sit at the great white throne judgment, right? And that's not going to be good for you, unfortunately, right? But if you receive Christ as, as Lord and Savior of your life, we get to sit at this judgment seat of Christ. And that question that he's going to ask is, hey, what did you do with what I gave you and your time, man? Nobody's going to get away with this one, right? Because some of us might not have a lot of money, but we can do, we can be faithful with a little. But the time. We all got this amount of time, right? It's even playing game every single day. It's. It's even playing game. And if, if you're just sitting here playing the game of Monopoly and going around collect and go trying to stay out of jail, there's more for you. There's more for you that the game of life here that we should be playing as believers is, is building. Right. And investing our time into. Into relationships, into organizations. Right. Taking care of widows and orphans. What, what the scripture tells us true religion actually is. And, and so this is just, again, our heart's posture in this is man, what can I do for the Lord? First and foremost, I know that I have to dedicate. I have to give him my time, knowing that he is going to absolutely do more with the leftover. Right. Which leftovers, again, if you take an internal mindset, the leftovers are going to be what I'm supposed to do and build here on this earth. Right. That give God the first fruit and then he will make us way more productive with the rest of it. Amen. Amen to that. So, and just even on that note, I mean, I want to just even qualify that, that in doing that we are not earning God's love in any way. Right? They're not. There. There are people that may seem holier than thou or seem way more righteous because they're a lot like the Pharisees and they're claiming that, you know, they've hold all these commandments, Obedience is better than sacrifice. I. I will. Let's. Let's say that 1st Samuel 15 tells us that. Right. So, meaning that God desires obedience. Right. Scripture tells us that if we love him, we will obey him. Right. But there is the grace of God that we all have. Okay? So don't get worried if, if one day your kid wakes up early and you can't do it. Right. God understands this. Right. And don't get stressed out if, if, you know, you. You wake up late one day and it just doesn't work out. Don't get stressed out about that. We. We experience the grace of God, which empowers us to just continue to get better and better. So I do want to just, you know, qualify that. Christian, would you agree with that? This isn't about rules and legalism and anything, but it is about just man, our heart's posture. Again. I know I've said that a lot in this, but it is just honoring the Lord and I want to do what he wants me to do in this situation. And we dedicate that those first minutes, you know, maybe our hours in the morning. He is going to do way more than with our time, than what we can do without, without Him. Yeah.
Amen. K. Keller put in the chat. She struggles to get up in the morning. Right. She's not a morning person. So if you're hearing this as us Saying, okay, every day for 20, 26, get up an hour early, you know, concentrate yourself on the floor and just like cry out to heaven. That's not what we're saying. We're saying do it tomorrow morning, right? Start with tomorrow morning. Everybody, there's a reason why we've talked about this, why gyms offer all these memberships at like a dollar a month at the be beginning of the year. And everybody thinks that they're gonna go, it's my New Year's resolution. And they have plans for the whole year and then they don't get up to go the first morning. It starts with that first morning. Just, just set your discipline. And I actually just had a good conversation with my son in law this morning. He was just talking about some, some financial goals that he had and it just turned into a good conversation about daily disciplines. Whatever your goal is overall, I don't care if it's a financial goal, you know, a goal with your time with God, whatever it is, whatever. It may take you 20 years to attain that goal. But what do you have to do today? So you're there 20 years from now because you can't, you have to map out every day for the next 20 years. You're either getting closer to that goal or further away. So if you want to get closer to God and you know this, this early morning time, I mean Jesus got up early to pray. The Bible is riddled with scriptures about getting up just early when it's quiet to just spend that time alone with God. If it's new to you, just say, okay, I'm going to set my alarm clock a little bit early. It could be five minutes, it could be 10 minutes. And guess what? That verse, taste and see if the Lord is good. Whenever we do get closer to the Lord and we feel that oneness, that closeness with him, it gets a whole lot easier. Now all of a sudden you're just waking up at that time on your own, you're not even setting your alarm because. And you're excited going to bed at night, no matter what time you're falling asleep because, oh, I'm going to get this time with the Lord. So start with just that, that start with tomorrow and then take it from there. You know, I was never big on the, the N A, you know, Narcotics Anonymous and AA stuff, but for me it was Jesus getting to church, being involved with that, not going to those meetings, but you know, one day at a time. That model that they have, that's really what it is. One day at a Time, don't think about, oh, every day. How am I going to do this? You know, next week we. We're doing this in the morning. I won't know. Just one day at a time. Get up tomorrow morning and do it. Command the morning. Give your first fruits to the Lord.
Yes. That's so good. Because even on that, I think that's, that's so phenomenal. For those that aren't a morning person, we'll give you a few scriptures that will hopefully change your mind and heart in that. Because, and I'm not saying it's necessarily making an excuse. We're all. We have natural inclinations and tendencies toward things. But don't let your excuse be a stronghold in your life. Right? Don't let. Well, God made me this way. Because that ain't an excuse. Right. It's not an excuse for any sort of thing in our life. And it's definitely not sin to sleep in. Be clear on that. Unless God's placed that burden on your heart that, hey, no, it's time for you to, to command the morning and, and to get to bed earlier and, and put other disciplines in place. That's for each individual person. There's, there's, you know, that's not for us to, to judge on any of that. But I think the important aspect of that is we. I'll just run through some, some quick scriptures Christian, and then I'll throw it to you on this is that meeting in the morning. We can see that is, is a, it's a. There's a pattern in scripture that, that meeting with God in the morning. Exodus 16:21 man manna was gathered morning by morning. And I do want to come back to that as well. Psalm 63, 1 Early will I seek you. Psalm 88, 13 in the morning my prayer comes before you. Psalm 92:1 1 and 2 proclaim his loving kindness in the morning. And I think what's important about mornings whether, no matter what time that is, if it's 4am 6am, 9am 12pm.
Our.
Morning, his mercies are new each and every morning. Right? Which is God dang, that's the best news, right? They're new every morning. The junk we did yesterday, maybe we failed. We didn't hit the mark that we wanted to. His mercies are new every single morning. Right. There's new opportunities every single day. And so it's important as you take these steps. You mentioned the gym memberships, like they get packed this time of year and then by March they're desolate. It's like if you didn't hit it, the goal that you have in place, his mercies are new every morning, right? So get back up and make some declarations over yourself that, you know, Jesus calls us more than conquerors, right? We can do all things through him. And if we, if we're, you know, we even talked about these self help guru guys. The greatest self help book, if we want to call it that, is the Bible, right? And why, you know, I'm not even a, a big believer in, in these self help. Just the concept of it is. Scripture tells us to deny ourself, right? We're to deny ourselves the junk that we were. We have tendencies for like we're filthy, wicked, evil people at the core. It just, it's just real, right? And if we're, if we deny our flesh, but we feed our spirit now we're in a position which God can do some incredible things in our life, right? So let's not even make the, let's not even give it any sort of energy out there that. I'm not a morning person, right? It is, I, I'm, I'm, I'm getting better at waking up in the morning, right? It's just simple, simple little things that we can start to make incremental, incremental steps. And, and like you said, Christian, it's not, you know, if you set a goal for anything, like if I wanted to go run a marathon to like tomorrow, I'd probably not going to make it, right? But I know that I can run a mile today and then I can run two miles by next week and I can run three miles by the next week, right? And this is a process that we are to build off of through our sanctification process, okay.
So.
And even back to just the concept of mourning, Jesus modeled this, right? And I think this is very important for us to understand. And Mark chapter one says very early in the morning, you know, Jesus went away and prayed, right? Jesus being God still prayed. So if he does it, man, all the more we should, it should be a demonstration or example of what we are, we are to do, right? Some, some of the translations say while it was still dark. And again, a lot of this I think is just back to the hearts disposition of giving him our first and our best, right? If anybody was busy, I would say Jesus was pretty busy, right? Those three years he had crowds, you know, following him, hammering him for all these different things. Heal me for this right there. They were all over the place, right? Yeah. He still like retreated, right? Not Retreated, but went away from the crowd to spend time with God. And this is going to be so important for us in 2026. Here is to. To make this a priority in our life, because what I don't want is next year we're hopping on this thing, and we got to continue to talk about the same thing, right? It's. It's like, no, let's. Let's get better and better. Let's increase as your word is for the year, so that, you know, we can move on to this next stage or next process in our sanctification process.
I want to make mention of this real quick now. Getting up early and give your first fruits to the Lord. It's. It. We're not talking to people who just struggle with, like, you get up, you're lazy, you're scrolling Instagram. I struggle with this a bit because I'm the type of person where if something's on my to do list for the day, it drives me nuts. If I have a to. I know. Same for you. If you have things to do, you're going to be thinking about it until those things are done, period. So if I wake up in the morning, I know, okay, I have 18 things I know I have to get done today. I want to get a jump on it, which is good discipline, right? You know, having that type of personality to want to get things done. However, I have seen it time and time again in my own life when I do jump into those things. Or even when I had a season where I was like, if I don't literally wake up, have my coffee and start going to the gym, I ain't going for the day, right? I had to check myself on that, where it's like, no, I need that time with the Lord. I need that time with the Lord, because your day is just different. It's different for me. I'll have a chip on my shoulder. Not that like a chip on my shoulder. Me as a saved and sanctified follower of Christ is different than when I had a chip on my shoulder before I was saved. But there's still a chip on my shoulder. There's less peace. I find I can get a little more impatient with. With Ezzy or the Grand Kiddos, you know, but when I have that time with the Lord, it's like all of a sudden, those fruits of the spirit, you know, patience being one of them, they're in full effect. And it's just so important. It's like the bread and it's the secret sauce, and guess what? It's not even a secret. Like scripture is telling us to do this.
Yeah, no, that's so, that's so good, man. I mentioned manna earlier and one thing I wanted to say about this is if you guys remember in Exodus, this is where, you know, the Israelites are, are wandering around 40 years in this desert, right? And, or in the wilderness and Jesus still provided God, Jesus still provided every single morning, right? And what's so unique or what I, what I can glean from this is that it was a daily dependence on him, right? Because the fact is that even if they, they tried to keep some back for the next day, meaning they were concerned God wasn't going to provide for the next day, it got moldy, it got gnarly, right? And they couldn't eat it, right? So if every day, every morning, our time is just like this daily dependence on the Lord, what I did today is not going to get me through tomorrow, right? Or what I did yesterday is not going to get me through today. And when we have that concept again, the heart's disposition toward that and it even just brings for more reference to when Jesus called himself the bread of life, right? And it's like he is the bread of life and our dependency needs to be on him on a daily basis. A daily encounter, the daily nourishment from him and him alone. That will set the stage for us to actually go do what it is that he's called us to do, Right? Whether you're a mom or, you know, you work a job, you run a business, whatever that is. But giving him that first fruits is going to be priority for you. Not, not what I did yesterday is going to get me through the rest of the week. My Sabbath day doesn't get me through the next six days. But a daily dependence on Him, a daily encounter with Him.
Consistency is key. It really is. I'd rather somebody, if I'm discipling somebody, I'd rather that them spend 10 minutes with God every single day, then have one day a week where it's like, yeah, I'm fasting for 24 hours, right? Because that consistency, that 10 minutes a day is going to increase because the more time you spend with the Lord and the more you just feel his presence and his spirit, then you're going to want that more. But I mean, if you're a personal trainer, you'd rather your client work out for 10 minutes a day rather than one like four hour workout once a day or once a week. Excuse me, Right. Because there's going to Be no fruit that comes from that. You're going to get really sore and the muscles aren't going to actually grow. But if you're just consistent, consistent, consistent, then you're going to see the fruits of your labor over time and you're going to be pleased.
Yes, absolutely, brother. Just a few more scriptures. I just want to provide even just more reference. This isn't like, again, something we're just coming up with, like, hey, this is a great idea, like most gurus have. Psalm 118:24 says, this is the day that the Lord has made every morning. This should be our declaration. This is the day that the Lord has made.
Right?
I'm going to rejoice. I'm going to be glad in it, no matter what the circumstances are, because it's. It's him that has given me this day and I want to ultimately glorify him. Job 38:12 says this. This is radical. Have you commanded your morning? I didn't even know that was in Job bro, before we came up with the title for this. So I think that's just. That's amazing. That's amazing. When we command the morning again, and it's not us doing it, it's. It's. We're giving it to the Lord so He can bless, it puts us in a position to ultimately be blessed to be used by him. Psalm 30 says, Joy comes in the morning. Right? Isaiah 40, those who wait upon the Lord renew their strength. So good. Like, and that's just again, we're acknowledging him in the morning and that knowing that he is who we're going to get any of our strength actually from. And yeah, I mean, I feel like I could continue to go on and on with this man, but I know I've been talking a lot. Do you have any other thoughts on just the importance here of the morning? I know we're getting up close to an hour here already.
Yeah. Commanding the morning. Any. Even that Job verse, it's more God on display. Like, have you done what I. I've done? It's like his. His omnipotence on display.
Right? Right.
When we command we, we are to command the Mormon, like, seize the day, right? Carpe diem. Sees the day. We command the day. And that takes effort. It takes discipline. Right. Even, I mean, one of the mornings in Dominican Republic, we. We did the breath work video together. Right? That takes discipline. Like, it doesn't just happen on its own. And when you start doing the breath work, if you're like a little tired or just kind of relaxed. You don't necessarily want to do it because to, to do that type of breath work, it, it takes a little bit of work, but you do it. And then every time we both say this, when we're done with it, it's like, oh my gosh, why don't I do that like six times a day, right? Yeah. But it, it thinks that work. So when we command the day, command is a verb. It's an action word. We have to do it. It's not going to be handed to us. All the promises we see in scripture, they require us doing something on our part. And they are all action words. They're all verbs. We have to do something. All the thens when God says, if you do this, then I will do that, right? It's all it takes action on our part. And we, we live in a day and age where everybody is a quote unquote Christian and just, you know, reaping the blessings of the Lord. Go back to First Kings, chapter two. When we did the episode on what is a man? What was David's charge of Solomon? And he, he said, be strong, right? Okay. So that, that takes a little bit of work. Be strong. And he said, in layman's terms, obey God. Obey his commands and you'll be blessed. It was like, okay, well, how do I obey God? It's not just simply getting up early in the morning. Everything they say to do. How do I love the Lord God with all my heart, soul, mind and flesh. How do I do that? That love that agapeo, right? That agape in action. How do I do that? That takes work. It takes something within us and sometimes we don't want to do it. And that's where discipline comes into place with anything. There's times people don't want to go to the gym, but what is it? It's discipline that gets you there. It's that mindset that, no, I'm gonna, I'm gonna sacrifice short term so I can have the long term gains, right? Seeing, seeing the, the bigger picture that's ahead and, and really not caring about instant gratification, right? We're so. Especially now in the year 2026, now it's all about instant gratification. And anytime you get that instant gratification, if it's anything from anything other than God, guess what, you're going to get that, that quick fix and then you're going to sink lower and lower, then you're just going to want it more and more. And that's how like I myself like developed into an addict because you like that high. And as soon as you start getting low, you're like, oh, I could just get high again. And then, oh, and you don't even want to be normal at that point. You just want to be high all the time. And then get to the point where you're not even feeling high now. You just gotta to not feel so, so low. You got to get that fixed to just try to feel normal. And then you get to the point being an addict for 14 years where it's like, I can't even get a high to feel normal. You're just so lost and depleted and empty. So all this to say, like, muster whatever it takes in you. And guess what? Sometimes people aren't being blessed because you're just not sick and tired of being sick and tired yet. Kind of taking it back to like that, the old attic language. But you're not, right? You're just gonna keep coasting. You're just gonna keep coasting through life. And, and God will give us a wake up call. He will. When that tragedy strikes, when we do get that phone call, God forbid, you know, when your, your, your life is turned upside down for a bit. God. All God wants is your heart, period. And when he truly has your heart, these things will become easy. Whether you're a morning person or not a morning person, whether you know you're, you're newer in the Lord or seasoned Christian, these things will become easy. All he wants is our heart. And I tell you one thing, for everybody who calls themselves Christian, it's pretty easy to spot out somebody who truly has that heart for the Lord. It really is. It really is. And the numbers are lower than what all the polls say as to those who go to church regularly and are Christians and this and that. When you meet somebody who truly puts God first in their life, it's evident like that. And guess what? They stand out. They don't fit in with the world. They stand out. They're still. It's so different about them, but in a good way. Everybody who sees what you have, right? Who sees what I have. It's really the peace of God. It's really just like the Holy Spirit that they could maybe not see, but feel and sense. There's like a tangible presence, Right. That's what people want. Like, do they want the companies, the business, the house, or this or that? Sure. But what they really want is that peace. They want that relationship with Christ. And that relationship is available to every last one of us. And as you talked about earlier. It starts again. Every single day, every single day. We deny ourselves, take up our cross and fall on every single day, get renewed, get rejuvenated, get revived every single day. And for a lot of people, I mean, sometimes for me, I like that morning time. But I mean, Lucy is good. Different parts of the day, she, like, she'll schedule times where she's just going to retreat and be with the Lord. And I'm still working towards that. Like, my morning time usually is good enough for me. And then like that 24 hours, but you can't get enough of them. You can't. There's no. You're never going to overdose on Holy Spirit.
That's very true. That's very true, man. Yes. This is great. So just practically, for people here, as. As we kind of wind down, just. This isn't something monumental. You've got to just make a radical change in your life. These are. Are habits that maybe you need to unlearn some habits in your life and put these, you know, small incremental habits in place to develop these daily disciplines, right. Very first most practical thing that I would encourage everybody. Psalm 100 tells us that we enter his gates with Thanksgiving. Like, think of the key to get into the gate is. Is Thanksgiving, right? So what happens if tomorrow morning you like going to bed? Tonight, this is on your mind, right? So when you wake up in the morning, your first thought is giving thanks to the Lord. This is the day that he has made, right? And it's. You can even make that declaration. I'm gonna rejoice. I'm gonna be glad in it, right? Start with just a simple little act, right? Something of that. That nature that will. That. And if once you do that incrementally, right, over the next week, over the next two weeks, three weeks, it just becomes a daily discipline, right? That's what discipleship is, is having these disciplines in your life to honor him and to acknowledge him, right? And. And it's gonna be hard, right? But here's. Here's the thing. For 20, 26, for. For all of us, there is zero growth in your comfort zone. Zero. Zero growth in your comfort zone. So if you're just comfortable and you're. You're just like, well, I just. I'm. I'm getting by. It's time to step up, right? This is. I'm call the arms here. Like, let's go deeper. Let's go. And, and not even just the concept of. Of. Of going deeper. Just. Just hit me. We've. I've used this analogy a lot in the past, but it's like as Christians and even off of what Christian was saying, you know, it's, it's easy to identify fake Christians, right? Those that identify no different than a person identifies as a he or a her, a cat or a dog or whatever. There's lots of those out there, right? And a lot of people identify as Christians, yet they ain't followers of Jesus Christ, right? They've, they've made up some sort of other Jesus that they're, that they're thinking that's, that's who they're following. They're deceived, right? And that's just the nate, the, the reality of the situation. But if you are a follower of Jesus, right, He is Lord of your life, the only way that that's going to be evident for, for anybody to see that you are a true follower of Jesus is based upon the fruit that you bear. Scripture tells us that they will know us by our fruit, right? And a tree bears fruit, right? But the only way a tree bears fruit, it's not by grinding anymore. It's not by working harder or hustling or having this perfect strategic plan or these, you know, 15 minute days in a day, as Christian was referring to before. The only way a tree, a tree bears fruit is based upon where it's planted. And if you can just think of this every morning when you get up, like choose this day, who you are going to serve. I'm going to plant myself in the word of God. I'm going to plant myself. I'm going to go deep. I'm going to go, I'm going to develop deep roots here, right? That, that is going to help me just have discernment between good and evil, between the world and the kingdom. We're going to be able to have that discernment, discernment if we're spending these, these daily encounters with the Lord, right? And it's not just coming to him with our to do list and our, our you know what we want to accomplish. First Kings, you mentioned First Kings, earlier Christian, but First Kings 19 says God speaks in a gentle whisper, right? So you've got to give space, time to the Lord because He's always speaking. Oftentimes we're just, we're too busy and we're not taking the time to listen. We don't have the ears to actually hear, right? And if we want to know the secrets of the kingdom, we need to spend time in his word. We need to spend time with him, certainly asking him for Things, he wants us to bring those to him or bring our burdens to him. Right. Because his yoke is easy. Right. And this is. This is like what we are called to do as a believer, but also just position your heart to sit with him and listen. Right. And he will, no question, begin to speak with you this year in 2026. Amen. That being said, I know we're over the hour here. I always love these Friday mornings, man. Miss having you not here in. In the. The homestead, but always great to have you on and, you know, just spending time with you, brother. So this is awesome. Any final thoughts on today's episode?
No. I want to mention this real quick. You talk that second time you referenced that listening, right? When you're spending time in prayer, just kind of listening. Romans chapter 8 says, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be be uttered. Right? You don't have to know. You don't have to have a game plan when you approach God, right. If you don't know what to talk to him about, just start talking and tell them, I don't know what I'm doing here. I don't know. I feel distant from you. Whatever it is, just. Just vomit everything that you're feeling and what's. What's wild, it still kind of blows my mind. He already knows this, but unless you actually have that conversation with him and you actually verbally say it, it's like nothing will be done about it, you know? But when. When you're actually engaging in conversation, you know, I can know what my son's thinking over there, but far more could be accomplished if we're actually engaging in conversation. And now he's listening, I can talk back to him and he's hearing and he's receiving. So if you don't know what to pray, go to God and say, God, I don't know what to pray. It all started with me by waking up everybody morning and say, God, thank you for waking me up this morning. And I didn't even really knew no at the time if I believed in God. And then turns out that prayer. Our flight. I told you, our flight attendant on the way to Punta Cana, she came up to us at the end of the flight and she said, so, so what. What prayer did she tell you to start praying that led you to God? And I was like, huh? She said, forgive me. I. I looked you up. I knew you had to have something to do with Ministry because the Bibles were open and everything. And wound up the last 20 minutes of the play having a conversation with her about her son in law who's battling alcohol. And that's what it was. And guess what? After a week of saying thank you God for waking me up, not feeling a thing, or thinking I was just wasting my time, it was futile efforts, all of a sudden I just felt the presence of somebody on the receiving end hearing it. And then throughout the day I'm just talking to myself, which even in my head I'm like, it's kind of weird. Am I talking to myself or am I actually talking to God? Am I hearing, am I hearing like now all of a sudden when you have those like gut feelings or the intuition, it's the Holy Spirit. And ultimately that was the time the Holy Spirit was. Holy Spirit's always wooing us, right? Always trying to draw us closer to Jesus. But that's when all of a sudden it was like, oh, I feel this, I know this. And then ultimately surrendered and game over. That's when everything changed.
Yes. That's so good, man. I forgot about that. That's it. Yeah. Christian testimony is what I'm saying. What I forgot about is that, you know, Lucy just suggested every morning he just wake up. This is when he didn't even believe in God, let alone Jesus, and he just started thanking God for every morning. That's just evident too, that when you draw near to him, he will draw near to you. So let's make 2026 the most epic year yet. We are believing for increase. We don't know when the Lord's gonna return, right? But we are called to occupy until he comes to do business. Until he comes. And as, as a, as a kingdom minded individual, right? This is, this is, we're to bear the fruit that, that he and only he and the Holy Spirit will actually provide through us, right? But the only way again to be doing that is spending time with him, investing time. I don't like that word, spend, because I think there's two things that we can do. Like we can invest, right? Or we can control our time. And oftentimes we're controlling our time. But let's make an intentional effort this year to invest that time into the Lord. His mercies are new every single morning and give him that. Like, let's invest into it and let's see what he does with that rest of the time here in 2026. So that being said, we'll see you guys all on next week, Friday, every single Friday, you know, we stream live here on Rumble. We're on our YouTube page as well. So you can know what to expect here in the future. But as I said before, we're going to be diving deep into money. Starting in a couple weeks, we're going to dive into that on and why that is. It's talked about in the Bible, man, more than, more than anything really. It's like, it's wild how many just references to money, wealth and possessions and, and I really, truly believe that it's because God knows, right? He knows the, the idolization of it, the, the desire for it. Right. And, and Ecclesiastes tells us that those who, who, who desire it never have enough of it. And man, Ecclesiastes is such a radical book if you just, there's so much wisdom in that thing. If you just actually spend some time and read through it because it does say that money answers everything, which is also just a radical concept. So we're going to dive into that here over the next few weeks as well. But that being said, you're like every.
Great preacher with that being said, wrap up. And then you got to get into more and more.
