The speaker argues that evil presupposes good, presents the world as fallen, and cites the martyrdom of Stephen and the conversion of Saul/Paul as linked examples of redemption through suffering.

And I even you can even think, you go down the path of like, if, if God is a good God, how does he allow this to happen? And that's not the question that we have. That's not the question. If anything, this proves of good, this proves of God evil. There cannot be evil with, without good. And so the reality is we live in this fallen world. And, and if you look at even scripture, you don't get the conversion of Saul without the martyred martyrdom of Stephen. The same Jesus that Stephen trusted, the same Jesus that Stephen trusted as he, as he looked up to heaven. He's literally being stoned to death. Is the same Jesus that knocked Saul off that horse and became Paul, writer of two thirds of the New Testament, incredible church planter. He started a movement of Christianity that spanned across the world. Who only became a martyr himself.
