Rylee Meek talks about learning to be a good steward of money after years of financial irresponsibility. When money was rolling in, he didn't think about it. Now he asks himself: am I going to steward this? He wants to give anonymously and seek heavenly reward, not earthly recognition.
When you said you committed to picking up a penny.
Did you just make a decision, or do you feel like God was leading you? I definitely felt like that was a conviction in my life of, like, am I going to value. Because I think for a period of time in our life, it was like money was rolling in, and it's like, I was very irresponsible financially because we had a lot of. Yeah. And I've. I fumbled the ball, I think. And this is where, you know, I. I'm very frustrated with decisions that I made in the past. Nothing I could do it about it now, but I can make better decisions moving forward. And that was a time where God would, like, just convicted me. Like, are you gonna. Are you gonna steward this? Well, the little things. Because I want to do way more with you. I think. I think everybody listening. God wants to do so much more through you and in your life if you're committed to the little things. Right. Because we all wanted. We want these big things, incredible things to happen. But how do you. What do you do in private? Like, what. Because God sees, all right? And if you're. If you're just the guy that wants the. The credit and the glory, like, I want. I want zero credit. I want zero glory on this earth. Right? Because Scripture tells us, like, that is our reward if we get it on this earth. Like, I want. I want to give anonymously. I want to be like, nobody know my name, because I want to make a name in heaven more than anything else. Yeah. So that's good.
So with obedience.
If our answer is.
Yes to God before he even asks, then we're just going to grow in.
