New Jerusalem

It Good morning. Good morning. Happy Wednesday to y'. All. Hope everybody's doing well this morning. Another day the Lord has made. Rejoice. Glad it. Trust him. Grow closer to him today. Grow closer to one another. That you know, Jesus desire for us. And even pray to Father and possible John that we may be one as he's one with Father. Pray that you see. Honest today I'm excited for the Bible study. We're not excited for Bible study to you guys. Do your faces and we are. I feel like I'm saying this like, oh, thank you. I work on y'. Alls. I'm doing seminars, so been working on Y and sort of become natural. So now you don't sound like you're from Jersey. Whereas up until not too long ago, people down here in B like, hey, from northeast. Yes, I am. Yes, I am speaking of the northeast today Bible study. We're going to finish chapter 21, I believe next week we are going to conclude 22 funnel chapter revelation. But I never know the process. So we could re enough for six weeks. I don't know see how this I love the sport so much. Amen and props to you. Thank you for doing all you do behind the scenes to help me out your heart to heart from history. Man. I appreciate you. Just make this feel a little better in the elbows for today in the Google Drive in the chat and sorry to say I'm speaking of New Jersey. We're gonna be talking about the new Jerusalem today, which I heard growing up as a fan of hip hop New Jerusalem, but it was just like cool sign word for New Jersey, New York, that sort of thing. And you know, growing up Noah Bible in the house or actual city of Jerusalem. Anyhow, we read today about the new Jerusalem. We started it last week with it. Let me pull up my notes here. Start a little bit last week and we're Getting Finish Chapter 1 Like I said, everybody on the prayer call and when I looked up, I swore Elizabeth wasn't there. And we got off. She was there. So Elizabeth, I apologize to you for noting. So I'm going to briefly read through the first eight verses that we go into last week. Then we'll finish this chapter. So chapter 21 starting first one now I saw I a new heaven and new earth of the first heaven passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I John, saw the holy city New Jerusalem born for her husband. I heard a loud the tabernacle of God is with men and they shall be his people. This is to dwell with his people. And purpose for us is to be both them to have desire to dwell with him. God himself. Leave them and be their God. There shall be no more pain for the former things that pass away. And he who sat in the room said behold, I make all things new. And he said for these words are true and faithful. These words we're going to read blasted those who flood blank. Right? So the last one I didn't really highlight them, but that last one in the book of Revelation is a big one that they may have a right to tree life enters the beast into the city. So yeah, the counselor is faithful truth. But world standards it varies, right? There's no truth. Jesus is the truth is where he is a word. Behold, he was on the throne. I will give up the fountain who left freely to him who thirst. He who overcomes shall inherit all things. And I will be his die and he shall be my son. Cowardly, unbelieving, abominable murder, socially immoral sorcerers, adopters and all ash have a weak with burnt with fire burn stone which is the same second death. So we went through all that and as I was this week and we talked about it last week. He who overcomes shall inherit all things. Now we know first John the danger on that the Gospel of John and Revelation. He touches on us overcoming right and of God. But we're overcome the world. What does that mean? That we should remember that world says that rebellious spirit, the anti God spirit. And we have the ability to overcome all things, right? All things. And even when, you know, if we're sick or have disease and we pass away, we're still overcoming whatever that affliction is for us. Our fear of heaven, right? And sometimes God heals by just supernaturally touching and healing and making someone well. Sometimes he heals by calling them all to heaven. And that's really the possibly have is actually called home to heaven. That we remember in the chapter two three Revelation Church had its, you know, condemnation that of Philadelphia that was faithful in true church. That's. That's the church we talk about the timeline of history. One of those seven churches represented. Now where we are kind of in that timeline. The river of the church kind of broke off the church laity, the Luke room church and the church Philadelphia, the faithful church. And but there's still a charge at every church. If you overcome this is what you shall receive. And the churches deal different things at the time. But it's always if you overcome but we can overcome it's really a trace if we have spirit. God l us 10:13 declares that we have all that we need to withstand any attack from the enemy. God's grace is sufficient. It may not mean that it won't be overcome. It's no it may not be like a 42 nothing victory maybe grinded out back and forth and we win like 21 20. But are we willing to support the game plan that God has given us? Are we going to are we going to give him to attacks and attacks will come to spend some time on parallel just going for alerted in favor. Some folks have some real needs things going on with children and overly our job our role is just to just fight those fight the spirit when the attacks come the goal and role is to always be ready for all these armor. You know, somehow we have tendency to pound the armor of God and give to Ephesians 6 when the attack comes we should be Ephesians 6 pound the arm of God every single day. So we're heir from the attacks come. We know attacks will come. We know storms will come. The story of the wisest fool's shoulders establishes that none of us are from storms. None of us are rebuilding. Our foundation is the foundation of our last rock Jesus Christ. And it's very hard in that techcom to fight disseminated. You know putting tools and saying kind of not spend most time with the Lord go through life go through and all of a sudden you know rely upon that rock he's still there. Finding out that verse seven is just from me and he will come shall inherit all things. It's just remarkable. We are co heirs with Jesus Christ. We have been into a real family and Jesus remind that everything that Jesus has in heaven we're co heir. You know I'm co heir with my brother and sister to my dad has the even if siblings are counting on something enjoy it difficult to be able to great wealth for children. But everybody's like that when my siblings okay so anyhow I will get to verse nine here and what we're going to dive into here with the new Jerusalem. It's really remarkable to know that and I appreciate you don't know absolutely every detail about everything. There's still some mysteries of God although a lot of the mysteries that have been revealed to us we have revelation of some of these things. But if we knew everything and everything was written up then it would require no faith. So I appreciate God and the way he operates where this relationship he requires his faith even sounds so good this New Jerusalem. This New Jerusalem sounds so good that it does. Even though there are some detail, there still takes some animation to know how great it can be when we see that colors right Of New Jerusalem. It's you know, the way we see color now. Like uncle Blend and black and white I struggle with. There's times where I picked up a shirt that was like purple, I think it was blue. Things like that somehow color blind. But when we get to heaven, we're going to be able to see a way where it's black, white ear. And every one of those video put on the glasses where they see color for the first time. They're just like in awe. That's what it's going to be like. And we see color here, right? We do see color. I heard one time like the colors that we have. I forget how many like bay colors. We have only cool base colors. And like now like combination of those colors. If you add one more color into like one of the hor colors that we have it from millions more shades and illuminating colors. And that's really what this New Jerusalem is going to be like. So as we go through this seven highlights of this New Jerusalem. Okay and the first one I'm going to bounce around the rest of these verses. First one that is prepared, right? And we read that in verse two where John says he saw holy Jerusalem coming down out of heaven prepared from her husband. So nutrition is paired now in six days straight on the seventh day rested. He. He's preparing this place for us now, right? So he's at from the beginning of time till now to prepare his Come look what all the accomplishments are just days. And now how many days has been since Genesis 1 month. And he said all the time to prepare our eternal home is going to be. And it's. And we're prepared as a private burner husband Now I don't know. I haven't been sending morning wings because typically the bride wants to have plenty of time to be adorned and get all made up. The hair look exquisite for her husband as she comes down the aisle and has got prepares this heaven for us. New Jerusalem. It's. It's so sad. I love that John uses illustration that we've been busy with. There's no better site for a husband. No greater memory. Actually not husband's time. Then he sees for the first time. And this is how the new Jerusalem is prepared for us. And Jesus says in John 13 they go to prepare a place for us. And also that these early ends are going to be destroyed. But we have a building for God made with hands eternal in the heavens, right? So God is preparing for us. You can live in various houses. I think right on this he has a phenomenal house, big house on the water, beautiful house, a greenhouse for many. But in that house comparison to the the house that is pray for us a willing place. Pray for us in heaven. So that's how we look forward to, right? We're not to look forward to the death more advanced look with knowing that what we experience here at believers is close to hell for everyone to experience is close to heaven and unbeliever. So first thing is prepared. The second day is it is pictured. Okay? So it is a pict as a bride adorned for husband. And we just talked about that a bit. But relationship between husband and wife as this this eternal dwelling place for us is patriotic. Do we have a relationship with God as he desires or he's the rock room as church. And we know that the most important savior of the relationship that we have we may have because our parents who may love our kids to death, right? But the sacred relationship we have instead of heaven is with our spouse. So two pictures. So in Jerusalem is prepared, is pictured and then it is presented, right? It's coming down two times this chapter. First one pursued that verse ten. Then one of the seven angels who had symbols, remember seven angels to the last symbol it was send angels that poured out those bold judgments. And one of them poured out on the same bowl, came to me and talked to me, said, come, I'll show you the bride, the lamb's wife and carry me spirit to the great high mountain. And show me the holy Jerusalem ascending out of heaven, having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a Chester stone, clear as crystal. So again, verse number 10. This is presented to us. And when I said that I hear from you guys is we all have spiritual givings, some of us have visions. But I think it's fair to say that all of us as believers. Believers, right. As followers of praise, we felt like we were carried away in spirit, right? You feel like your feet are touching ground on that earth. That's supernatural, right? But I'd love to hear from you guys a bit. And carried away by spirit. Maybe God showed you vision. Maybe God did give you. Maybe just prayer, praying God gave you the clear castle, clear word there. There's a couple times, like two times I knew in my life where I felt like I heard all boys about the all boys got and I feel like be carried away in Spirit because it's like. I don't know if that who was in earshot. But I feel like I heard his voice right. And the first time for me was when I was in rehab. I'm sure you guys know that Dave, I want you Dave to rehab. Whenever gun to rehab my life I can get saved. But for 30 days. I heard clearly to me and said you are and the father of her for I heard it clearly and realized like right. I'm done with that. And when I got home from the first and I had tell this right. And not just the teller. Like the fact that I knew of him, I knew of his voice. And again we hear from God. We just kind of hear like we hear it and we here. And I also have to tell you she I know he told me. I was like, whoa. Like somebody being like carried away by the spirit. There's nobody complain if I didn't know a single thing from the Bible. Which I'm so grateful and happily the case that when Jesus had an encounter. Everything since then as I experience I had to my salvation. All that. All of it. But that was all clearly. I spoke to her when I was me. Like either mind readers are real or God is real, right? Either like tarot card readers are real. Psychic are real. And we became friends fantasy. We were just late. We were so close as friends. And we knew there's something else there. She made clear that she didn't say it in such shortages. But I was an unbelievable junkie at the time. And she just couldn't be a relationship something like that. But we were best friends. And God commissioned her to help me. But she sent me her mother. And her mother had given as well. Our daughter as well. And she told me about her mother and her mother. And like I flew at her. She was like this psychic. And I remember traveling in the bar with Lucy. And we passed a place like a psychic. There's a big guy outside your mother, right? I had no idea. This is when we first started to become friends. And.
