A short conversational excerpt from a YouTube video featuring Rylee Meek and another speaker discussing the contrast between trying to please people and serving Christ. The speakers question motives in ministry and daily life, referencing First Corinthians and noting that some pastors may avoid political topics to please people.
Like, says, if I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ, man. If I were still trying to please man. And how many of us, I mean, that's just conviction in my heart. Like, man, if I'm trying to please man, am I a servant of Christ? Like, who. Who am I serving in each situation that I'm in? How many pastors are please a man by not talking politics? Yep. Because, oh.
I know there's some liberals here, so I don't, you know, I'm a conservative, but there are some liberals. I don't want to offend them. So who are you pleasing?
Who are you pleasing? Right. Wow. Yeah. That's so good. Which just brings back to the First Corinthians verse that we talked about earlier.
