Prayer & Positioning

Christian leads a group discussion on prayer paired with action, using Nehemiah and other biblical stories. The core idea: pray, then move. They cover spiritual opposition, discernment, and the tension between waiting on God and acting in faith.

Good morning. Good morning. Happy Wednesday to everybody. Most of you guys were on the prayer call, which is phenomenal, that prayer time. The numbers are just getting greater and greater, so I'm grateful for that. And every week we see, we. We don't just seek the Lord and we hear petitions and burdens and needs that we have, but praise reports of God responding and answering those prayers. So praise the Lord for that. Lou. What's happening, brother? Always good to see you. Raj, what's happening, man? How you doing? Doing great, Doing great, doing great. I'm all caffeinated up, ready to get going.
Been up early, early this morning.
Good, man. Good. I. I noticed that song that I was playing, it's. Is that a new song in the. On the playlist? No, no, no, that's an og. Okay. I just haven't played it. I just.
It hasn't been in the rotation in.
A while, I guess. Okay. I like it soulful. Soulful. You guys may not know, but deep down in Raj there. There's an old soulful black man in there.

Yeah. Yeah.
All right.
Good morning, Brandon. Good to see you, brother.
Good morning to you too.
Yeah.
All right.
I'm excited for this morning. I'm excited for a couple things. I. I mentioned briefly on the. The. The Prayer Call, the third installment of the Kingdom Entrepreneur series book series will be out shortly. Shortly, meaning and probably next month. Well, November. Yeah, the November. December before the end of the year. But also what I'm super excited about. Riley and I, we've recorded a podcast that's going to be. Not this Friday, I don't think it's this Friday, but the following Friday. And it's a podcast about Christian meditation. Biblical meditation and meditation in the. The Christian world is somewhat taboo, but the Bible talks about meditation more than 50 times. So we dive into what it means to meditate as a Christian and we talk about breath work. And some of you guys have done breath work with us and just breathing. Breathing that, that, that. That air, that wind of God into our. Our lungs. And just the. Not just the. The benefits health wise, physically, but spiritually. So we actually, in the next couple days, we're gonna. We're gonna post a Christian breath work video, which I'm totally pumped about, because you can find videos of breath work and they're great, they're beneficial, but I haven't come across any that are Christian. So we, we decided to create that and I think it's phenomenal. So as soon as that's posted, we'll get that over to you guys and I'd love to hear your feedback, but it's just really good time of being in the presence of the Lord, breath work, meditating on His Word, claiming the promises of God. I'll let you guys give me feedback on it, but I think it's phenomenal, quite frankly. So this week we're, we're still doing some, some topical studies. And as always, I encourage you guys to be active in the chat. Raise your hand, give feedback, ask questions, the whole nine yards. The last couple weeks we talked about how the, the enemy uses fear to spiritually blind us and compromise. How when we compromise that, that spiritually blinds us as well. And this week we're going to be talking about a mighty man in scripture, Nehemiah.
He.
He was a man of prayer. And chapter four of Nehemiah kind of lays out a blueprint for us where prayer is the beginning. But oftentimes we simply pray and then we just sit back and wait for God to move. We, we just wait on God. When, oftentimes when we pray, God is calling on us to pray and then act, pray and then move. Because if we, we're going to God in prayer, we're asking for wisdom, we're asking for counsel, for direction, for guidance, for discernment, and he gives it to us. Then what do we do? We need to move. He. He gives us the, the game, the game plan, and we have to run the play, right? So Nehemiah 4 is a great example of that. And, and chapter 4 of Nehemiah, there's opposition from the enemy, lots of opposition from the enemy. And our response should never be to fix our eyes on the problem, fix our eyes on the opposition, on the attacks, but to fix on Jesus. And we, our first response should always be to pray, but then act. We pray and position ourselves. We pray and prepare. We pray and, and then praying is the, the start of the, the, the fighting in the spirit, but we actually win the victory in the natural when we act out. And prayer is, is of utmost importance. We know that first. Thessalonians 5:17 says we're to pray without ceasing, so we're to be praying at all. Times Jesus says in Luke 18, men always ought to pray and not lose heart. Prayer is absolutely vital. But did you know there's actually a reference in Scripture where God says stop praying, stop praying, stop praying and start doing. And that's in Exodus, chapter 14. When Moses stood before the Red Sea, cried out to God and God's like, listen and, and maybe this just how I hear God sometimes in my own mind or in my own spirit. He's like, hey, hey, listen, you guys have cried out. I've answered you, I've already told you what to do. Stop praying and start moving. Okay? And I, I desire for us to be a church. Church meaning the body of Christ, a remnant of the body of Christ where we're prayer warriors for certain. But then once we pray, we act, we move, we do. We see Joshua, he sought God before Jericho and what do you do? He gave him instructions. Now that, that story wouldn't even be in the Bible if Joshua just prayed, got the instructions and then didn't march around the walls of Jericho for, for seven days. We see King Jehoshaphat in Second Chronicles chapter 20. And often times in the Old Testament, men of God would get on their knees and they would cry out to God when they were facing opposition, when the an attack was imminent. And in second Chronicles chapter 20, that's what happened. And Jehoshaphat, the, the King of Judah, he called for a nationwide fast. Scripture says he sought the Lord and the Lord answered him and he said, you will not need to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord who is with you. So even in the standing still, and that's a fascinating story where Josh Fatty sent out the worshipers to the front lines and that, that was his front line attack. It wasn't the, the best fighters, it was those worshipers and they started worshiping. And then the Lord ambushed the enemies where they just got confused and started killing each other. So even when God said, when God answered, he said, position yourselves and be still. There's still a positioning. Even if there's stillness, even if there's a waiting, there's still a positioning. And when we pray, we're, we're to always pray with faith. We're always to pray with expectancy. We're not to treat God as a, as a genie where we just know he's going to answer every prayer because he's a God who grants our wishes, so to speak, but we're to pray with expectancy. That's what, what faith is. But when we look At Nehemiah, we see early on in chapter one that he's a man of prayer. Now this was after the 70 year Babylonian captivity of the Jews. And Nehemiah, it was, is about 15 years after the book of Ezra ends. Ezra led about 50,000 and there's estimated 2 to 3 million Jews at this time that were in captivity. And Ezra led this wave of Jews back to Jerusalem and 50,000 out of 2 to 3 million. And the goal was to rebuild the temple. So they started rebuilding the temple and you could read a lot of the minor prophets to see the opposition with rebuilding the temple and the steadfastness. And there's always going to be opposition. Whatever God's plan is for any of us, whatever our purpose is, whatever God's called us to do, there's going to be opposition. The enemy doesn't want God's plans to come to fruition. So we need to be aware of the schemes of the enemy, of how he attacks us. But ultimately we're to, to know that God has called us for such a time as this and he's given us purposes, he's given us commissionings and there's always going to be attack. But Nehemiah really lays out what we're supposed to do when those attacks come. In chapter one of Nehemiah, it says that Nehemiah was heartbroken when he got word back. That city of Jerusalem, it was just in shambles. The, the walls of the city and the gates had been burned to just this rubble. And it's important to, that it's important to build the temple. Right? They, they wanted a place where they could go and worship and come together. But walls of a city were very important. That, that's how these cities were protected back then. And said that he, he mourned and he wept and he fasted for four months. Four months, right. So whatever it is you're praying about, think about that. Think about Daniel when He prayed for 21 days and, and scripture reveals to us that there was, there was a war in the spirit, that God heard the prayer immediately and he dispatched an angel to give the word to Daniel. But he got caught up with the, the king of Persia, that, that in the demonic, demonic spirit, in the spirit realm. And if Daniel had stopped praying on day two, day five, day 19, day 20, would that angel have, would that angel have ever come with the message? So we're to remain steadfast in prayer. Sometimes it's hard for us. We think about, we have to like move our schedule around if we want to do even a 24 hour fast, right? Because we, we get so caught up in busyness. But Nehemiah, he was praying and weeping and he was the cup bearer for King Artaxerxes. Now as the, the cup bearer, it was a prestigious position, but not one where your life wasn't on the line. If the king had any issues with you, he would have you killed. Right? But it was a, a loftier position there in Persia. And Nehemiah, he knows, he's been called to go help rebuild this wall in Jerusalem. And what I love about Nehemiah, he spent four months seeking the Lord and then he has this, this conversation with the king. Now if you're a cup bearer and you ask to be relieved of your duties, the king would certainly say, sure, you could be relieved of your duties. Off with your head. Right? You don't just ask to leave a position like that. So it says in chapter two, verse, towards the, the back half of verse one, it says, the king says now. I. I'm sorry, Nehemiah says now. I had never been sad in his presence before there. Therefore the king said to me, why is your face sad? Since you are not sick, this is nothing but sorrow of heart. So I became dreadfully afraid and said to the king, may the king live forever. Why should my face not be sad? When the city, the place of my father's tombs, lies waste and its gates are burned with fire. Then the king said to me, what do you request now? This is a. If this was a movie, there would be suspensable music in the background. Because if Nehemiah has to be relieved of his duties, it could cost him his life, right? Even having a sad countenance in front of the king is not something that was common. You, you never had a sad countenance because the, the king would have you removed. And oftentimes that was by taking your life. What Nehemiah says here, after the king says, what do you recruit Request Nehemiah, it says. So I prayed to the God of heaven and I said to the king, if it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my father's tombs, that I may rebuild it. Then the king said to me, the queen also sitting beside him, how long will your journey be and when will you return? So it pleased the king to send me and I set him a time. Excuse me, got a frog in my throat. So do you guys notice here? It's a conversation. If you're watching this on a movie screen. It's a conversation between two men, between the king and Nehemiah. And it says that Nehemiah spoke, the king responded, and then it says Nehemiah prayed to the God of heaven and then responded again. This is remarkable because if you're watching this in real time, it's just a conversation between Nehemiah and the king, right? So Nehemiah have been in prayer for four months. How many times are you in a real time conversation? Whether it be for, for work or you're just ministering to somebody. And it's a real time conversation. When it says that Nehemiah prayed, he didn't say, oh, hold on, king, let me go, get on my knees, I'll come back in 20 minutes. This is real time. And the reason he was so in tune with the Lord is because he had just spent four months praying, weeping, fasting. So in real time. And that's the type of downloads I desire with every conversation that I have. Because I want to be so filled with wisdom and, and say the right thing, do the right thing, have the right mindset. In every conversation I have where if this is a conversation where maybe, oh no, I may lose a sale, I may lose a client, I may say something where I lose my life, where in the midst of the conversation my spirit is praying and God's given me downloads as to what to say. And that only comes because he put in the work beforehand. It was four months of this, right? He was seeking the Lord. So, so many times we don't seek the Lord until we're in that desperate place. But we need to get the reps in. We need to prepare ourselves to be in tune with the Holy Spirit. So when that time comes, when an urgent situation comes up, maybe it's a life or death decision, a conversation that we have. I want to know exactly how to move. I don't ever want to be guided by my own actions because I've been walking with the Lord for 14 years. Actually yesterday made 14 years for me, so praise the Lord for that. This time in October is always brings me back to that day that I got saved. Even just like when the weather starts to get a little chilly. I remember that day that I got saved in October 2011. Lucy texted me yesterday morning and she said the day. What'd she say? She said, the day you became a new man in Christ. Right? She texted me that yesterday and I told her, I said I became a new man that first day. You press your lips against mine. I became a new man, but I became a new creation on this day 14 years ago. And I always remind her, she's the one that made the first move on me. But anyhow, so Nehemiah prayed, and the king, he didn't just grant him permission to go to Jerusalem, he gave him favor, he gave him provision, he gave him a security detail so he would get to Jerusalem safely. And when he got to Jerusalem, you know, Nehemiah knew that he had to get to work. But he got there and in the evening, he assessed the situation, right? He assessed, he kind of counted the cost. What, what's it going to take? Which is a whole nother Bible study for another day. But then we get to chapter four and it says, but it so happened when Sandball heard that they were rebuilding the wall, that he was furious and very indignant and mocked the Jews. Sanballat was governor of Samaria at the time. And Sam, Ballot, Tobiah, and Gershom, three names that you hear in the book of Nehemiah. They represent the enemy. They represent. And the things that they do represent the enemy's attacks. And the first wave of attack came by mocking, right? And how many of you know that sometimes if you just simply get discouraged that that's all it takes? The enemy just needs to discourage us and we just, we stay paralyzed. We walk fearful, we have anxiety. And we're certainly, when we're in that state, when we have a, A, a less than mentality where we're not sure of our identity, we're not sure of our calling, we're not walking with the power and authority that God's called us to walk in, when he just simply mocks us, when he intimidates us, when he. He says we're less than what we are, the enemy. He. He's the accuser of the brethren. He's the father of lies. He's always going to try to convince us that we're not who God says that we are. Verse 2, says. And he spoke before the brethren and said, the army of Samaria. Oh, excuse me. And he spoke before the brethren and the army of Samaria and said, what are these feeble Jews doing? Right, what are these feeble Jews doing? They just, just mockery, just discouraging them. Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish, Stones that are burned now? The ammonite was beside him and he said, whatever they built, even if a fox goes up on it, he will break down their stone wall. So the walls are about half built at this time. And they're saying these walls are. Are so weak. They're so. They did such a poor job at this building of the walls. Even if a fox jumps up there, it's gonna. The wall's going to tumble. And it's. It sounds childish, little tit for tat, little comments, but that's the way the enemy attacks us at times. He just simply mocks us and discourages us. And then verse four says, hear, O our God, for we are despised. Turn their reproach on their heads and give them as plunder to a land of captivity. Do not cover their iniquity and do not let their sin be blotted out from before you forgive, for they have provoked you to anger before the builders. So what did Nehemiah do? He didn't try to defend himself. He didn't try to defend. Oh, no, actually, this wall's pretty sturdy. He didn't even respond to the attackers, Sam, Ballot and Tobiah. What did he do? He approached God, right? That was his response. Now, you could tell Nehemiah had a little thug in him, had a little G in him, because how did he approach God? He said, turn their reproach on their heads and give them as plunder to a land of captivity. Do not cover their iniquity. You know, it's kind of like one of those David prayers in psalms where you're like, oh, wow, some of these psalms are so beautiful. And then you see David just really asking God to do the worst to his enemies. Now verse 6 says, so we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work. So Nehemiah, he was mocked, the enemy came and was his response. He didn't engage with the enemy, engage with God. And oftentimes our first response is, somebody comes to us and we want to defend ourselves. But when the enemy comes, the enemy's not worth our time to even engage with him. And the way we engage with the enemy most is by engaging with God, right? If I. If I want to stop or halt the plan of the enemy, do I actually engage with the enemy? I engage with God. Every. Every battle that we see here in the natural, it's rooted in the spiritual. And that are the weapons of our warfare. They're not carnal, right? So we're to engage, but we engage in the spirit through prayer. And then it says, now it happened when sand ballot to buy it. The Arabs, the Ammonites and Ashadites heard the walls of Jerusalem were being restored and the gaps were beginning to be closed, that they became very angry. So when. When God's work is being done, the enemy becomes more and more angry, and all of them conspired together to come and attack Jerusalem and create confusion, right? So this is the second way that they attack. They try to create confusion. And the enemy will do that. It'll create confusion. He'll make us unsure of things. We feel like we have a clear plan and assignment from the Lord that the enemy will come and try to confuse us. And Nehemiah's response again is what prayer says. Nevertheless, we made our prayer to our God, and because of them, we set a watch against them day and night. So we set a prayer to God, right? We. We come together, we made prayer to God, and because of those prayers, now we set a watch. So we seek God first, But then what? We pray, and then we position ourselves. Then Judah said, the strength of the laborers is failing. And there's so much rubbish that we are not able to build the walls. There is so much rubbish that there's so much debris there. And that's another message on its own, that, that sometimes in order to. To rebuild, to restore, we have to remove the. The rubble first. We have to get the junk out of the way first. And our adversary said, they will neither know nor see anything till we come into their midst and kill them and cause the work to cease. So it was when the Jews who dwelt near them came that they told us 10 times, from whatever place you turn, they will be upon us. So now there. There's a panic right now. Now people are starting to see this attack, hear this attack, and they're starting to panic. Then verse 13 says, Therefore, I positioned men behind the lower parts of the wall at the openings, and I set the people according to their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows. And I looked and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses. That's another message in and of itself. Who are you fighting for? Right? As the enemy comes and attacks us, we're not just fighting for ourselves. We're fighting these attacks on behalf of our families, right? Whatever. I don't conquer, My. My wife, my children, they're. They're gonna have to contend with. I. I need to conquer certain things in my life. Conquer to halt these attacks of the enemy, to Withstand that enemy. We know in James scripture says, resist the enemy and he will flee. That resist is really more like withstand. Be strong, be. Be firm. Set your feet into the ground. Content, right? Don't be swayed, don't be moved, don't believe his lies, but resist the enemy. Contend, be. Withstand the enemy. And he's going to flee. And guess what? If I don't. If I. If I'm not strong and courageous, if I don't put on the full armor of God, if I don't strengthen myself and put on the armor of God, and. And the enemy gets an upper hand on me, whatever I don't conquer in the spirit, my family is going to have to contend with. And it happened when our enemies heard that it was known to us and that God had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us return to the wall, everyone to his work. So it was from that time on that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shields, the bows, and more armor. And the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. Those who built on the wall and those who carry burdens loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction and with the other they held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me. Charles Virgin had a magazine that was published and was called the Sword and the Trowel. And it comes from these last couple verses here. The sword and the trowel were all to walk with our sword in our trowel. Our sword being what? The word of God, the sword of the Spirit. We're all to walk with our sword, but we're also to serve. We're also to work. We're also to build. We. We walk simultaneously with a sword and with a trowel. Simultaneously. It. Because oftentimes we'll see people who, they. They have the word, right? And they. They know the word, they memorize the word. But when it comes to actually serving and doing the work of the Lord, they don't do it. They simply have that sword. And then you have other Christians where they have the trial. It's all about serving the Lord. It's all about conferences. It's all about going out and working and serving. But we know the story of Mary and Martha, right? Martha was serving the Lord and Mary was worshiping the Lord. And Jesus said that Mary had the better portion, right? She. She was doing what was more important, the worshiping rather than the actual serving. Because Sometimes we get caught up in serving the Lord, and it just becomes a work in itself, and it's not. And we. We start to strive in our own natural abilities, and it just becomes work. Sean, you had your hand up.
Yeah. I was listening to a sermon connected to that yesterday, and it just was cool how that kind of interlinks. But after the resurrection of Lazarus, they threw a party, you know, and Lazarus just wanted to be with Jesus in his presence. You know, there's that. There's those three different responses, like Lazarus was just hanging out with Jesus. You know, Mary was listening to his. His words as well. Martha's serving. You know, kind of like how we each have our own responses that are hardwired into us for worship. Each of them are appropriate, though.
Amen. So. So we see this blueprint from Nehemiah to pray. His first response is always to pray. And you see throughout the book of Nehemiah, the attacks of the enemy. We see Sanballat, we see Tobiah, we see Gresham. And what's interesting also is we see all these attacks here in chapter four. We see more attacks in chapter six, and they get ramped up. But in chapter five, you don't see the name Sam Ballot, Tobiah or Gresham. Sorry, you don't see them at all. And the reason for that is because verse one, it says there was a great outcry of the people and their wives against their Jewish brethren. The people who are supposed to be working together started bickering and started fighting amongst themselves. So we see the enemy attacking with mockery, with intimidation. In chapter four, chapter six, they. They come, they ramp it up. They're. They're looking to kill those who are building the wall. And we. We see such a focus on these enemies of God in chapters four and six, chapter five, they're nowhere to be seen. And that's because they. In chapter four, they sowed that seed of discourse. And some people fell for it, Right? In chapter five, once we start bickering amongst themselves, once there's infighting within the church, the enemy, we don't see sand ballot to buy it. And Gesham in chapter five, because they could take an off day. They could sit back, they could put their feet up. They're like, okay, they're fighting amongst themselves. We don't have to attack. We don't have to use our energy to come with more. More arrows, more darts. We don't have to because they're. They're infighting. But Nehemiah sets this blueprint where because we're always to act and pray. Now sometimes you may be a go getter, especially entrepreneurs, you're just kind of hardwired to figure things out, right? Something goes wrong and say, okay, I got to figure out how to fix this. What do I do? But, and it's great that we act, but if we act without prayer, then that's just pride, right? We shouldn't ever think that. I have this all figured out. We should always seek the Lord first. That doesn't mean for everything that comes against us, we need to mourn, weep, and fast for four months. No, but I'm going to seek the Lord as to how to move on this. But to pray without acting, that. That's just passivity, right? That, that's, that's not being prudent. We need to be prayerful and prudent. God always wants us to, to act upon those prayers. And we are. We've talked about this the last couple weeks where we've become a passive church. We've become somewhat of a compromising church. And some folks, you may know that they're holier than thou.
They're.
They're always praying. They, they know scripture, but then they're just kind of sitting on their couch just waiting on the Lord. God will give you the download, and then you just continue to wait for God. Well, God gives us that download. And Riley says this. He said, God blesses our, our footprints, not our butt prints. Right? It's great. We, every one of us should have calluses on our knees like, like James did. That's not recorded in Scripture. But it said that James had calluses on his knees from praying so much. We should all have calluses on our knees from our prayer time. But our legs should grow weary as well. Because we, We. We move. We. Faith is only evident. And faith without works is dead.
Right?
And if, if we don't have like, really good in shape legs, like calves, like Riley, you know, Riley's got some great big calves. That, that, that, that's a marker of our faith, right? How big our calves are. Because once we pray, we're to move. We're. We're to be active. And here we know that Nehemiah, he set a watch, he set a guard. So, okay, God's giving me instructions, right? Riley always thinks his calves are smaller than they are. I think he's gotta. We'll pray for Riley, for his body, this dysmorphia.
Maybe they're big for my height. How about that?
But, but this blueprint, and I think if We're a church where we pray knowing that prayer is just half of it. And then we need to act right? And how many times do we pray for discernment, we pray for wisdom, we pray for counsel. And God will reveal something to us. He'll give us, even if it's just a glimpse of we, we always want the full picture. But God will give us a glimpse. But God oftentimes, he just gives us step one. And when we fulfill step one, he'll give us step two. I, I don't know about you guys. I don't think God's ever given me the whole picture. Right. I'm pl. Praying for somebody's giving me the whole picture because if I do that then I'm gonna one, I'm gonna get lazy and I'm not going to do my part. Because God, he's a, a miracle worker. He can, he can do anything at, at the snap of a finger, 100%. But if he just did that every time he prayed it, it's just, it's done, it's done. Where is our faith in that? Right? He just kind of becomes that genie God that, that's performing, that's answering wishes more than performing miracles. And his miracles oftentimes are predicated on the faith that, that we display. So I Wanna, we're at 7:40. Want to open this up a bit and kind of hear your perspective. And even as to prayer, as much as I'm convicted at times for my lack of prayer time, I think every one of us probably can be in the word more, can probably pray more. Right? But maybe that's not you. I know I certainly can. But prayer sometimes, in my opinion, that's almost. Although it's important, we're to pray without ceasing. That's the first step. It almost is like an easy way out. I'm just going to go pray and then whatever is, is, and then I just kind of sit back and let it be now. So I, I don't want to dismiss prayer by any means, but it seems easier at times to pray than to actually act out or to take action after the prayer. I want to hear what you guys have to say about that.
Yeah, Christian, this is fantastic. One thing that I've been convicted of lately is oftentimes as Christians, we even, we're praying for clarity on situations like, I think that's a prayer request that I've even had before or many of us have. It's like, I just want clarity in this and in reality, with clarity, clarity require or doesn't require faith.
Right.
And it's impossible to flee to Fleet. Please, God, without faith. And so, you know, something that I've just really had to have a change of mind on. And what I would encourage others, it's like, man, let's pray for more faith in the decisions that we have to make coming up. And. Because it's not clarity. Clarity isn't reliant on faith at all. It's just, lord, increase my faith for this decision one way or the other, and then take action on it. Right. Because so often we're praying for clarity, but the reality is that's praying for. It's kind of a measure of control that we're looking for, and we're no longer. It doesn't require faith if we have clarity, if we already know the outcome that's going to take place before we make a move or make a decision, that doesn't require faith at all. And that's not. That's. That's part of the impossibleness of pleasing God. Right. And so I. I would just encourage everybody to, you know, as I've had to do over the last few months, it's like I just increase my faith for whatever it is that. That you want me to do or to take action on in this situation. Again, not knowing the outcome, but I do know that I'm moving in faith and that ultimately is what is pleasing to the Lord.
Amen. That's good. Yeah. We all want to walk that path. That's easiest, right? But I. I've never taken exponential leaps and gains in my faith without a journey that I was like, oh, man, it was a journey. Right. My faith never grew with an easy path. And you're right, Riley, that clarity, if we have 100 clarity and certainty on everything, it does require no faith. That's good, Zach.
Yeah. Just to kind of continue on that thought, this was what. This is what me and my aunt and my grandmother were talking about yesterday is, you know, I mean, Abraham was counted righteous because of his faith. And so often we're striving for all these other things in life, but when in fact, it's not by our striving, but it's by our faith that we achieve the actual goal. You know, we are things like we are. We are the righteousness of Christ to God, but we'll strive for righteousness, and we strive to try to get all these things in order, but instead, we can have faith that we already are that righteousness and God will continue to produce that fruit in us as time goes on, you know, he'll continue that sanctification process. But instead we strive by our own money, as if we're going to be any better for the Lord to use in comparison to him. We're wretched, we can't help that. But through faith, we do achieve that righteousness because of Christ. So it's not by ourselves. And so a lot of times we, we spend our lives after these goals and like, striving to attain these things that, that don't belong to us. Meanwhile, like Riley said, we'll pray about things, we'll pray about clarity when a lot of times he's already given us a command to act on those things. It's like, so we act in all the wrong areas and then we pray about the things we're supposed to be doing. And so this has been a constant prayer of mine for maybe a year and a half, two years. And I was like, lord, help me to not neglect the things that are my responsibility, but also help me not covet the things that belong to you in my life. You know, so, so I love the way you put that. Riley.
Yeah, that's good. Brandon.
Yeah, so, I don't know, I guess maybe a question slash comment. So, you know, we, we fasted and prayed back in February, but didn't really move in that fasting and praying was more just trying to listen to God and see what he had in store for us. It was regarding me stepping out to my business full time and quitting my job. And recently we came to the point where I was asked to resign essentially at a time where there were things that were going on that weren't how I would have wanted them to be. But then because the situation that God put in store, I'll be able to get paid for a few more months. So, so there's a question of how do you, do you pray and act, or do you wait for God to move sometimes before you can act in that faith? And you. Obviously, we continue to pray about it. We continue to believe that his promises were going to be true, that he was going to give us an answer. But me stepping out and doing it in my time on my own wouldn't have looked the same. And I wouldn't have this three, four, five months of still getting paid to work a job I'm no longer at, to work to grow the business. So it's, is there, is there a line of when we, we are called to just wait for God to move, wait for God to say, okay, now attack the battle as opposed to just Going out in and running into the battle full steam ahead just because we need to act in faith. Does that make sense?
Yeah, yeah. I think every, every prayer or, or petition, whatever we're fasting for, it's all a case by case basis. Right now you could get caught up into just praying and fasting, and praying and fasting and never doing anything right? Like that just becomes your commitment. But when you know that God is speaking and use the words wait for God to move, oftentimes God to move is just prompting, is just speaking to you and your spirit of what that step is, exactly what that action is and how, however that that comes, whatever that looks like. Once, you know, in Colossians it says let the peace of God rule your heart, right? And oftentimes that that's let like God call the balls and strikes in your life. If you have peace about something, then go forth with it. If you don't have a piece about it, then don't. So I, I would say it's an individual, it's a case by case basis. But if you feel a piece about something that's oftentimes how God speaks to us, to give us that yes, is okay, I have a piece about this and then we move. So it's hard to say specifically, but you know, sometimes it may take a 20 minute prayer, sometimes it's a month of praying and fasting. But God is going to, and we are to wait on the Lord for the answer. But if we're not hearing an answer, if we're not seeing any sort of guidance or direction, then pressing even more. Okay, like commit yourself, consecrate yourself. I'm not saying that you didn't do that by any means, but the. If I want to hear God's voice, I'm going to lay aside everything else in my life to, to hear that, that voice of God. Jonathan, what do you have to say about it?
Not much. No, this is, this is really good. It's something that like. Brandon, what you're saying is something I've been praying and thinking about too. And even what like Lauren put in the chat and what Riley was saying, because I heard some, I've been listening and hearing the voice of God in my prayer time and been having like some amazing prayer walks like a couple times a week, you know, especially back in like August, September, I would go like for hour long prayer walks at least and just, you know, pray. And I felt like I heard some specific things from God during that time. But also I would, I found myself because I'm an optimist, and I'm hopeful, which is really good. But I would try to create certainty out of what God is saying, because I didn't think it was. I was confident. I knew what God. I was confident with what God was saying, but I was not certain in the outcome. And so I would try to add my 5% and try to strap down what God's saying to an outcome that I feel like this should be. Like. I felt like God would say something, but God, you know, without faith, it's impossible to please God. And so I will move door, and so I will take that and say, yes and amen, but then I will add my 5% to create certainty for me. And the opposite of certainty is. Is not doubt. The opposite of certainty is faith.
Right.
And. And so I'm just, like, trying to learn to allow God be God and walk in the direction and the specific things he's calling me to. But I don't have to. I always know the outcomes. I don't have to. I can be confident, and I can be full of faith, and I can have hope, but sometimes it's just taking a step of faith. Like, maybe what these guys were saying about, hey, even if a fox climbs on this wall, like, it's going to crumble. Like, Nehemiah didn't go through a vigorous vetting process of who's building the wall. You know, he might have had thoughts like that, Right. But he was confident in who God was, and he always put God first, and he always stepped out in faith. There was no guarantee that the wall was gonna, you know, that what these guys were saying was not gonna happen. Right. But he always stepped out in confidence in God, not uncertainty and where and outcomes. And so I just kind of, like, been on a journey with God recently, and even in hearing specific things from God doesn't mean that it's gonna. You're gonna know, like, every detail of the outcome, because then you wouldn't need God. You could kind of take it and run with it yourself and leave God behind.
Yeah. Yeah. Amen to that. You make a good point with Nehemiah. The. The goal was to build a wall, and it doesn't say much about him, like, seeing who obviously had those who were the Watchmen, those who were the builders. But it didn't. Doesn't. Scripture doesn't reveal much as to, like, the vetting process of who the builders would be as opposed to the Watchmen, but the goal was to build the wall. And I believe if our eyes are on a goal that God has put in our hearts, that he's put before us, if every detail of it, he's not going to lay out. And even if we make a mistake in doing our best to fulfill what he's called us to do, I've always found that even if I. I zig and I was supposed to zag, but ultimately I'm working to fulfill what God's called me to do. He will honor that because my heart is ultimately to fulfill what he's called me to do. And I'm reminded of Acts 16, when it was Paul, Timothy and Silas and they were called to preach the Gospel. And it says in verse six, says now, when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the Word in Asia. After they come to Myja, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Maja, they came down to Troas, and a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, come over to Macedonia and help us. So they were out. We got to preach the gospel. And clearly there God didn't give them until he had that dream. He didn't give them instruction as to where to go because they're going, they're moved by the Spirit. Our, our purpose is to go preach the gospel. And it, you know, I'm going to ask Paul when I get to heaven, you know, exactly how did the Holy Spirit forbid you from going to that one area? You, you had a mindset to go into this area and preach. The Holy Spirit closed that door somehow. What was that? Was it like something in the natural, obviously rooted in the spiritual? But what happened that that door closed and then you went to another area, down to Bithynia, and the Spirit did not permit you. So that just mean that you didn't have that, the peace in your heart. So you're like, okay, so because the peace of God didn't rule his heart and go into that area, I know I'm doing what God's calling me to do, but I don't have peace with it. But then ultimately God gave him the dream. Paul, of all people, you would think God would give explicit, detailed blueprint as to exactly where to go. You know, every stop along your, your missionary journey is every church to plant. Because Paul was obedient and he wanted to serve the Lord and fulfill his purpose. But even with Paul, it's like, okay, I know my purpose. I know what I'm supposed to do. But God is closing certain doors so God will direct us as we go. We just have to be going. Sean and somebody else. Somebody else have their hand after Sean, too.
Yeah. Zach.
Dude.
Okay. Yeah. These fly by. Hands up. Okay, go ahead, man.
I hardly know where to start. It's so good. I was in numbers this morning with my daughter and we were just reading and how like, that's, that's where my prayer came from this morning about like the cloud leading the Israelites by day in the pillar of fire by night. It's like God speaks to us so uniquely. It's so beautiful to transition from religion and rules into relationship with the Lord. It's so beautiful because he speaks to us so uniquely. And I mean, it could be that peace. It could be like a really blatant sign. Do this, don't do that, Step into this, don't step into that. And Jonathan, what you mentioned about prayer walks, too, reminded me of a story that I read once about George Washington Carver, who was, you know, lived in the, in the early 1900s and was one of the greatest scientific minds of the 20th century. But he would take like hour long prayer walks every morning at 4:00 clock in the morning. And that really inspired me for like a week. And so I was up doing those prayer walks and I was seriously convicted of needing to do that again because I had some very intimate times with the Lord getting up super early and just going for a walk with the baby, you know, colder now, so we're going to bundle up more. But like, he, he would do that because he introduced the idea of crop rotation to the Agricultural society whatever of the early, you know, 1900s, and they started complaining about how the peanuts that he would tell them to plant to rotate through their crops, they had no use for. And then he, he went on a prayer walk, spent like an hour with the Lord and then went and testified to some committee about all the dozens and dozens and dozens of uses of peanuts. So kind of a little bit of a side rail here, but like, God will speak to you in a unique situation when you make that time for him. And I think you're, you're so on point with that Christian about, like, just consecrate yourself and spend that time and if you're not getting a clear answer, just spend some more time. You know, that's me speaking to myself as, as much as to anybody else.
Yeah, man, it's a good word, Zach.
Sorry, wrong button there. So my, I was having some issues with my audio to start off, and Almost lost my salvation over that. So if I repeat something that you said, let me know. I. I think I heard you mentioned Daniel chapter 10, when. Okay, that has been something that has been really impactful for me recently. Just kind of really ruminating on that and realizing it's chapter 10. I can't quote the verse number, but it says that it was when Daniel the angel says, that is from the. From the time that he set his heart to understand and humbled himself. And I was like, man, who and what are we that setting our heart to understand and humbling ourselves bends the ear of the Almighty God? Like, why is that? I had no idea. And it hit me kind of yesterday morning, and then I was diving into the scripture, but realizing that through. It's not so much that it's anything that we do, but it's what God created us to be. It's almost like there's this turf war between angels and demons and. And we really are just that fertile ground that Jesus talks about. And so by setting our mind to understand and humbling ourselves, we're really drawing a line in the sand. The enemy saying, like, look, I'm not even going to meet my need, let alone my selfish desires. And it. And it tells the Lord, hey, we are fertile ground. I'm posturing myself toward you. I'm ready to receive. And so in a lot of these things, like, we're talking about praying and hearing from the Lord, and a lot of times it's like, oh, we just take a quick pause and then we go right back into it. It's almost like we're just looking for his blessing on one thing or another. But when in reality, like, just asking, like, did this come out of a place of a desire to please the Lord, or is this out of the desire of what I want? Is it my vision for my life, or is it a vision that pleases and honors the Lord? Something you had said recently was just in line with that, like, genuinely the blessing and the. And what the Lord gives us, like, it shouldn't be for us, it should be for him and for others, right? And just that genuine desire of looking to do his work and not wanting that blessing so much for ourselves. I mean, he is a good father. He wants good things for us. But at the end of the day, like, really checking the heart of it. And this is not of a place of. I have it all figured out. It's just a place that I've. I've messed it up plenty enough times to know that what I normally do doesn't work. And. And really being honest with myself enough to ask, am I genuinely trying to do the Lord's work, or am I just trying to get him to steer me in the right direction enough so I can take the steering wheel back and then, you know, have it my way, so to speak. Like, it's Burger King. So anyway, that's good, Zach.
That's so good. I just think we so often as. As we're just selfish people. That's just who we are in. In nature. And it's like. And thankfully God's God knows that, right? He understands who we are. But when we come to the realization that this life is not really truly about us, but it's for his glory, I think it. It's. It's a. It's freedom. It's liberty, right? It's like, it. It gives us just a sense of, like, man, you know what? My job is obedience. And the outcome is up to God. And if we really walked in that and, like, fully surrendered to that, because I think that's what God is looking for. I don't know if you guys have even seen the new King's Council website. It's like, we've really made some changes, even with just how Christian and I are, like, man, how can we be the most impactful here on this earth? And it's like, I really feel. I know Christian feels this, like, God is searching the earth, like, looking for those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him. This is from 2 Chronicles. And if that's our heart and our heart's posture, God will embolden us, right? And he'll use us for his glory. But it takes away our glory, right? Which is like, that's the number one sin, I think, in any human's life. It's just this pride of self and what we're desiring, and we want to make a name great for ourselves, even though we'll, like, self, you know, convince ourselves, like, no, it's for God's glory, but. But I want to get the credit. I want to. I want to do these things. I want to make the best choices. And some of them being noble. Like, I want to provide well for my family and, you know, leave a. Inheritance to my children's children. But when it. If we just, like, get rid of all that other. That junk of, like, God, I don't know if I should, like, Brandon, your example of, like, quit this job or pursue entrepreneurship or not. I think. I mean, again, it comes back to just like, am I. Am I doing this as What Zach said to please the Lord. And if I feel like that is an act of obedience to take that step, then let's do it right. Hebrews 11 talks about, just by faith, Abraham, like, he woke up the next day and went. Because God said, go. And Hebrews 11 says that, and he didn't even know where he was going. It's like, all right, here we go. Like, it's an excitement. I think that it may be a mindset shift that we have to take on, but it's like, nah, this is a ride that we get this 70, 80 years, however long he has us on this earth. Like, we get to do these things. We get to make hard decisions. We get to go through the trials to persevere, because those who endure till the end will be saved. And it's like, that's this eternal mindset. If we can start to transform our thoughts, minds, our hearts, disposition towards that, he will use us, right? But we have to put ourselves in a position where he's going to strip us down. Like, when you start to pray these prayers of, like, God, use me for whatever, do whatever it takes, which are very dangerous prayers. But that's who he's looking for. He's like, who is on the earth right now? That heart is fully devoted to me, and I'll put them to work. I want to use them for his glory, right? And not for ours. And so I think, again, all of it boils. All these are just amazing thoughts and questions from some people here. Just like, is our heart, are we. Matthew 6:33 in it, right? Seeking first the kingdom in all things. Because we know, you know, the entire chapter before that is about the provision and about what we're going to eat and drink and what are we going to wear and all these things. And it's like, all that is for not right. If we're seeking first the kingdom in all that we do, he can take care of the rest, right? It's like, that's the good God that we serve. But every morning, like, is it. Sean mentioned walking in the morning. Like, I think, if our heart's disposition, what would happen if every single one of us, 22 of us on here right now, took the first tenth of the morning? Just the concept of the tithe that we're supposed to give. But we just took that concept of time, devoted it to the Lord, didn't just sit there and ask for things like a vending machine, but we sat there in the Lord's presence, had some worship music on. We're like, Lord, I just want to hear you. I just want to soak in your presence. And out of that, then we can be emboldened to make these decisions. Whatever he has for us today, we can start to walk in a confidence that he's going to guide and direct our steps. Proverbs 3, 5, 6, says this. He will direct those steps, knowing that if we make the wrong decision, who cares? God's sovereign. He's gonna make it.
Right.
Right. Like, that's. That's a freeing thing that we could have. And at least we made. Made the decision quicker than waiting. Because this is where I think a lot of procrastinate. A lot of Christians just procrastinate because we're waiting on God. I'm just waiting on God, you know, if he gives me a sign and he's like, here's your sign. Right? Like, just make a decision. Because even if it's a wrong decision and his sovereignty, he will get you back on the path to continually, you know, bring glory to Him. And oftentimes. And this is where I think gets confusing, is that we think success. We think making the right decision is, did we achieve success in that situation? That has nothing to do with it, truly.
Right.
It's like, it. I mean, for Brandon, it could be like, you got to fail in entrepreneurship multiple times before you. You experience what the world would call success. Because that's where God grows us. That's where God, like, really prunes us and gets us down to the heart of who you are as. As a human. Like, are you fully devoted to Him. And sometimes the greatest obstacles that we have to go through or, excuse me, grow through, is what God's going to use in our life to get us to the point where he's like, all right, you are maturing in this situation. You are pursuing this sanctification process that I have for you. Right. And it's not the accolades or what the world would call successful, but it's, was I obedience? Was I obedient to what God had for me while I was here on Earth? That's true success in any of our lives.
Amen.
I'll get off my soapbox.
That's great. That was great, Brandon.
Yeah. No, just to kind of go back. Yeah. I mean, it's. It's hard. You know, when you look back on it, you can see Maybe hindsight is 20 20, but going to what Riley said is, you know, God is sovereign. And, you know, I did make a choice to go back to the job that I was going to. I didn't make a decision, you know, whether it was the right one or the wrong one. You know, I could say, well, maybe. Maybe it was disobedience and that's why God decided at that time. Maybe it was just God's timing. I went back and I thought I heard God and said, I'm going back here. And he said, okay, now it is my time, and are you going to have the faith to deal with what I'm putting you through now? Are you going to stay faithful even amidst the circumstances that are difficult for you because your reputation is taking a hit? Because it doesn't. It's not on your terms. It's not what you look like it was going to be. It's not how you had planned it to be. And I have a different challenge in store for you, but the time is now. Now I'm moving you to a different place now. I'm calling you into this, into this direction. And so I. I go back, like I said, going back to what Riley said is there was a decision made. Was it the right one or was it the wrong one? You know, I don't know that that's for me to decide at this point. You know, God. God pointed me in a different direction at some point, but always having that heart of saying, no matter what you have in store for me, God, I'm going to continue to be faithful to you. I'm not going to give up on you. I'm not gonna, um. I'm not going to have anger or resentment towards you in the decision or the direction that we're going. And even when it doesn't look like I want it to look like, I'm still going to say, okay, you know what? What do you have in store for me next? What are you. What are you choosing to teach me in this moment? What more can I learn? And how can I develop my faith and continue to grow even amongst the challenges that I'm fixing to face? So God is good even in the. Even. Even when the circumstances don't feel that way?
Yes.
So good. One last thing that I mentioned, and then I'll be done. Christian, like in that situation, Christian mentioned mockers, right? And it's like, Brandon, you said, was the decision was the right decision or the wrong decision? Who cares? Right? Literally, is your. If your heart's disposition and posture was like, lord, I'm doing this to please you, you better believe there's going to be mockers. There's so many times in my life I've made decisions that look like failure. To the world. But if I knew that I was obedient to Christ, I could not give those voices any sort of weight in my life. This is where our hearts are constantly at war with the world in the flesh. Right? And what they think is successful is not what God calls successful. Right? And so if you're going to get flack, you're going to get made fun of, you're going to get articles posted at you online like, this stuff happens. And at the end of the day, I don't care. None of us should care about that stuff because we serve an audience of one. And that's ultimately when we sit at that judgment seat or stand before the Lord, that Bema seat of Christ, and we give an account, Those are the things we're giving account for. Is, did we, were we obedient? Did we, did we build things that are going to withstand the fire? Right. The gold, the silver, the rubies, like, those are the things it's not going to be. Well, I had fear of man, so I made this decision. But no, I had the fear of the Lord. So I made this decision and I let every man kick rocks, right? Like, like. And that, that's what it boils down to. And, but so often we're worried and we're stressed. The anxiety of what the world's going to say. They're going to make fun of us, they're going to talk about me online or social media. We've got to get over that. And it's, it can be some of the, the hardest thing to do. But that puts us in a position again in which God is glorified in that because he will, he will make every decision. If as long as our heart's posture was, was towards him and seeking him and bringing him glory in that he's going to make good out of all of that. And that's. I want that eternal reward. I don't give a rip about making money or having a reputation online or anywhere else. I just want to know, was I obedient?
Awesome.
And God's going to take care of the rest because my rewards are in the eternal. They aren't here on this earth.
Yeah. And that's what we've sort of had to battle through too, right? Is like, it's what man has meant for evil, God has meant for good. Right? Not what man says about me, it's what God thinks about me.
It's.
God knows the intentions of my heart. When my words and my actions have been twisted. God knows the truth about it. God knows the depths of who I am and what I have done. And, and, and again, it's. It is like, yeah, you what, what, what man is meant for evil, God, you admit, for good. And we're just going to walk in that in faith and, you know, it's even, even amongst that, I'm going to be losing business partners or potential business partners because of some of the things that are going to be said. He', tenfold, 20 fold, 100 fold. For just my obedience to him and the. The faith that says, okay, in your time, God, in your time, you're going to deliver those business partners that can help my business grow in the way that you've intended it to.
Amen.
Good, good.
Amen.
Go, Brandon.
Hey, appreciate it.
Did Riley just say, let's go, Brandon? No, real quick. It's just a word, something that keeps starting in my spirit as you talk, Brandon, and could be from the Lord, so maybe take it and pray on it. But there's a. I can't remember the name of the king. The prophet comes to him and says, hey, take these arrows and strike the ground. And he strikes the ground three times. And the prophets, you should have struck the ground five times because then you would have surely, you know, has defeated these armies and eradicated all of them. But now you'll just have limited victory. And I just, every time you've been talking recently, Brandon, I just keep feeling that stir back up in my spirit and I let it go a couple times. So whatever it is that you're doing when you make that decision, I just feel like I'm supposed to encourage you, like, be all in it. Wherever you are, whatever side of the fence you're on, be all in there. And don't just strike the ground two or three times. You know, really strike the ground for all it's worth. And put your. Put your heart and mind into it, put your soul into it, because at that point, the Lord will honor that effort. So, I don't know, I keep just stirring up in my spirit as you're talking that whatever you're doing, man, do it with all of your ability. Be all in it.
I appreciate it.
Yeah.
Amen. This is good, guys. A couple of closing thoughts. One, Brandon, I mentioned this earlier with Jehoshaphat, that he sought the Lord and the Lord told him, take position, stand still. So it was still a response, a response from God. And God said to be still and think about that in their mind. You're told to take position, go out into the front lines. But I'm going To fight this battle for you, like, bring no weapons, no nothing. But the response is, it's always take position, whatever it is, but where to ask, where to seek, where to knock, where to keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. If we don't hear the voice of God, and sometimes that, that, that word is to be still, right? And then that, that's the position we take. There's always a posture when we hear God's voice. And I'm grateful that Romans 8:28 is in our Bible. We know that all things work together for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Like, I'm very grateful for that because that means even if I do take a misstep, that he's still going to work it for good. Because like Riley said, he is sovereign and he. He is going to. He knows. He knows as much as, like Zach said, how many times you messed up and all that we all have. But God knows our flaws even more than we know our own flaws. And he knows that we're going to take missteps. But if our heart's intention is to be obedience, he's going to work that for good even if we do take that misstep. And then finally, I want to share this. Don't discount the part that you play in somebody else's journey as well. Just earlier this week or last week, I was sitting in prayer and Alan, who's always on the call, he came into my heart and I just sent him a text. And whenever you're sitting in prayer and God puts somebody in your heart, you start praying for them and you reach out to them. Like 100 of the time, I get a response back like, oh, the perfect timing, right? Perfect timing for this. So God will, will use his people to, to, to help his people, right? So sometimes we're asking for God for that answer and then we get a random text for somebody. Just a word of encouragement. It may not speak directly to what we're praying about, but it's just that word of encouragement to just take one more step, just keep going, just keep pressing, whatever it may be. So be, be mindful and obedient to that as well. Just how you could be a word encouragement for somebody else as they're seeking the Lord as, you know, something like you were going through, Brandon, which is, these are life decisions, these are big decisions, and God may just prick the heart of somebody else. And I, I think Riley, Zach, everybody's words, Sean, like, awesome words, like, God will use conversations like this to, to speak to us. So keep up the great work, guys. Pray then take position. Pray and take position. I have to run. It's 15 minutes past the hour. I got to head to my first appointment. But bless you guys. I'm excited to hear next week, Riley's going to be down in Jordan, Texas. I think it was just on a prayer call, but Kathleen had a. A dream a couple weeks ago about us buying a church and buying a school, and she. She just saw Jordan, Texas. And just by happenstance, just by coincidence, right. Riley is going to be in Jordan, Texas next week. Just a little dot on the map in Texas. So we'll see, we'll seek. And you know Riley, he's not afraid to take missteps. He may buy every piece of property in Jordan. Just, Just, just in case. Just maybe that's it. And if it turns out that, well, Jordan's small, right?
Cancel that, man. I'm not.
I'm not.
I'm not afraid to, but I'm. Yeah, I'm not gonna do that walk by faith unless the Lord says so. All right.
Yeah, yeah, say. I was just about to say that sounds like a dare, Riley.
Right? Yeah.
You don't just have to answer to God on that one. You have to answer to Ash, so.
Exactly. Exactly.
Yeah. All right, guys and gals, bless your day. Bless your week. Friday mornings, 11:00am Central, King's Council Live. Yeah, tune in YouTube, rumble. Where? Wherever. Podcast platforms. But excited to get back next week and just see what the Lord's done through these next seven days here.
Yeah, Christian. On that note, I'll just ask if you guys are able to get on those live on Rumble. There's a few hundreds. Sometimes we've had up to a thousand people live on that bad boy. And there's incredible opportunity in the chat if you guys know, we stream on Graham Allen's Rumble channel, who's very big in the conservative space, but we know not all conservatives are Christians. Right. So we're coming in there with a pretty bold voice of Jesus is Lord. And there's an incredible opportunity to love on people if you guys have that hour free, right? Because the live chat that doesn't get posted afterwards. But the live chat is an amazing time to connect with, you know, non believers or those seeking or, you know, just a bunch of trolls that we can overcome with. With truth. Right. And with the word of God. So I would. That would be amazing if any of you were able to hop on those live on Fridays. But no stress by any means. But I will just throw that out there. It's a good ministry opportunity if you have the time.
Yeah. Amen. All right, guys.
All right.
Love you, guys.
Love you, guys.
Love you.
Bye.
Hamilton.
