Reflect, Review, Relaunch | Start 2026 Right

YouTube live episode (King's Council) hosted by Rylee Meek and Christian on Dec 26, 2025 titled "Reflect, Review, Relaunch | Start 2026 Right." The hosts discuss a 2025 recap (politics, AI, mental health, cultural shifts), emphasize memory and discernment using Scripture (sons of Issachar, Psalm 77, Deut 8, Isaiah 43), encourage honest review of obedience and calling, and call listeners to relaunch in 2026 with input-focused goals and kingdom priorities. Ministry updates include nonprofit partnerships for child rescue in Mexico and a forthcoming book in the Kingdom Entrepreneur series.

Everybody. Happy Friday. Welcome. Welcome back to the King's Council live, where you guys know, we have unfiltered conversations. We talk about everything from politics, current events. But what's unique about us is we do this from a kingdom perspective with the ultimate goal of impacting lives and ultimately transforming lives. Let's even. Let's even call it that. So welcome. Welcome, guys. Everybody in the chat. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Hope you guys had an awesome Christmas yesterday. Friday the 26th today, man. Yeah, dude. Last week of the year.
Yeah, it's weird saying Merry Christmas the day after because, like, once it's done, the 25th is done. It's like it's done now. It's the end of the year, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
Think about it. Like, he was just born. They didn't even call it. They didn't even know. Merry Christmas. Now the Savior's born, right? It's like, Merry Christmas. He's here. He's here. Come on.
Amen. Amen. We went through our. Our. Our ritual. Now, although ritual kind of sounds like a bad word, but Christmas Eve, going over tradition with my youngest son, Ezra. My other kids are adults, of course, but it's good for them to hear as well. And then the grandkiddos, he hearing about the real Saint Nick, Saint Nicholas, who was a beast in the. The six hundreds.
And you just did Bible study on that shout out. Kingscouncilbiblestudy.com. yeah, Wednesday mornings. We're off this next week, right? No, yeah, no, no.
We're back at Bible study.
Yes, Bible study. Yes, we are. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Bible study. One more week. We'll be back live. January. What? I don't even know what that ends up being. Fifth, fifth, sixth, seventh, whatever that week is. Yeah, seventh, seventh, seventh. We've got our home audience here giving us the. The number seven.
So New Year's Eve is Wednesday. So it's gonna be the six. Come on, Jace.
Wednesday.
Oh, come on.
The seventh, bro.
Oh, my gosh.
Wednesday the seventh. Welcome to 2026. Right?
Anyway, let me autocorrect myself. St. Nicholas, the three hundreds. And he was actually in the Council of Nicaea and he slapped a gentleman for heretical views. So that's the real Saint Nick. That's our Santa Claus, where he's so faithful and devoted to the Lord that he'll slap a joker.
I knew I liked him for getting scripture wrong. I knew I liked him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Any good gifts, bro?
They're all gifts. I mean, the. The best present is just presence, in my opinion. Right. Just. Just having that time with family, I think is just special, man. There's nothing like it. I think, I think the gifts, I mean, we've made it a point in this household. With Ellie, Titus, I mean, he doesn't know yet. Like, he dudes, this is like he was baby last year. Now he's, you know, what, 17 months and he doesn't quite get it yet. He's just like ball, ball stocking has three balls in it and he's happy as can be.
Right, right, right.
Yeah. And Ellie knows, like, we don't go overboard with Christmas. I mean, we're extremely blessed throughout the year and it's in, you know, important for us just to have family time and what. What it's really, truly about.
So. How about you, bro? Amen. Yeah, just family over. There's a lot of us just with the kids, grandkids, so it's full house and it. Yeah, it's good because obviously, as your kids grow, they're adults, they have their own lives, their own families. It's hard for all of us to be in one place at one time. But now that all of us live in the state of Texas, that's helpful, of course. And yeah, there's nothing better than just spending the time together.
Nice balmy, balmy weather there in Texas versus up here.
Ye. Where I did throw on two pairs of socks.
It's true. He's two pairs of socks here.
Yeah, yeah. But where are we going next week?
Yeah. Which is actually going to be exciting. Next week we are going to be streaming live from the Dominican Republic. So be sure to join us next week, guys. It should be fun. We'll see, you know, we'll see how the technology is. Should be all right, though.
Yeah.
We're not going to have as fancy of a. Of a camera because I don't want to pack it and our camera guy is not coming. I. If I can't push a button and don't come on it, just don't come on. Right.
So.
So yeah. Yeah. So make sure you join us next week for our first episode of 2026. We got some fun ones kind of in the. In the lineup here. Excited to. To talk about and we'll see what, you know, what continues to happen in the world and culture as. As you guys know, like the. The intent of this episode or this show just in general, is to talk about, certainly talk about current events. And you guys know, on some weeks we have. We just go deep into maybe a specific topic because we want to bring everything from a kingdom perspective and, you know, how Christians should be viewing things right from the biblical. What does the word of God say? First and foremost? Because that should ultimately have the, the effect on how we're viewing things, perceiving things, and that's our heart going into 2026 of, of what we will continue to do with this show, which kind of brings it to just like what we're going to talk about today. We've been doing this for the past six years almost, bro.
Has been. Yeah, it's wild.
Yeah. Last five years we've been doing. We, we used to do, when we had, like, actual coaching programs and community things like that. We used to do events that we would call reflect, review and relaunch. And so that's what we're calling today's episode because we're going to reflect on, you know, what's, what's gone on in the world. Let's talk about even, you know, corporately, if we want to say that, but we're going to also kind of bring this internally for us to have hopefully some takeaways out of this, because I think it's important to remember what God has done, certainly in culture and things like that, but what he's continuing to do, or maybe even what he's speaking to us individually and then ultimately relaunching into what he's calling you to do. Yeah, right. Because that's, that's our hope or intent out of this episode is that we're, we're ready to, to relaunch. Or maybe you can just take some practical takeaways here and spend some time with the Lord after this. Of really internally, you know, hearing and sitting with that, of like, okay, where, where was I last year at this time? What has taken place? Am I, you know, in this process of sanctification, am I getting closer to what the Lord has for me or further away? Yeah. We got some biblical examples of where this goes wrong.
Yeah, folks, too, because you're always either getting closer or further away. We're never stagnant.
Yes.
Dayto day. Yeah. You know, every night you lay down your head on your pillow, you should ask yourself the question, did I get closer to God today or did I get further away? Yes, because we, we're never stagnant. Never.
So true. Growth mindset, baby. Growth mindset. Yes. So give us a recap, bro. Yeah, let's, let's, let's talk about what, you know, what's going on.
So I'll preface this 2025 brief recap by saying we're all to be like the sons of Issachar. Who the heck's the sons of Issachar? Well, sons of issachar there in 1st Chronicles, chapter 12, Scripture says of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do.
Right.
So it's important for us to, to know, no matter what year we live in, to, to understand what's going on around us, to and, and look at it, perceive them through the lens of scripture, through a kingdom lens and perspective. As we mentioned, this is the purpose of this show to, to know how we should church as the followers of Christ.
Yes.
So even the word understanding, Right. To understand the, the times, the season that we're in, to understand what's going on in the, the world today in the year 2025, it really means discernment, insight, perception.
Right.
So is, it's not just what it physically looks like in the natural, but you know, let's look at this through a spiritual lens and then this brings a prophetic awareness and that the whole reason for, is to know what Israel should do now. Right. So you kind of assess what's going on so you know what to do as a believer of Jesus Christ. That's good. So with 2025, of course, I guess the, the biggest news story, well, maybe not the biggest news story, but the first story of the year was Trump taking office, right?
Yes.
Second term, praise the Lord as president, which certainly slows the decay of this nation and kind of the toilet that this culture has been for at least the previous administration. But ultimately, if you look at the, the macro view of it, you see just where we're going as a society in this nation. So at least Trump is slowing that decay for the next four years and hopefully four more years after that. There's, you know, somebody on the right. Right, right.
Come on, give me my JDs in the chat. If you guys are with us on that, I think that's good. What you were just saying just in regards to Trump this past year, I believe it was an act of mercy from the Lord because, you know, scripture tells us that, you know, God is who appoints kings. Right. In the previous four years, it's kind of like kidding me. Well, God, I mean, God appointed him. Right, Right. But I, I view that, I mean, yes, we, if we believe the word of God, that is true. Right. And while every seat that is held in office is appointed by God, not every seat holder is God fearing. Right. And so I think I Feel like that was a, you know, it was a judgment on, on the nation and just what we were doing. And I don't say we necessarily, but just like collectively as a whole, just the depravity and the debauchery, that's just what had been taking place. And I really believe, you know, Trump getting into office was an act of mercy of the Lord, which is, which is why I think this past year has been like, like a charge to Christians to not just sit back and, oh, great, now we're, you know, things are going to get better. It's like, no, you should be an active participant in this. And this, I think, should be in, in everyone's desire and heart. As we're looking into relaunching into 2026, it's like, it's not a time to take the foot off the gas of this thing. Right. Like we, we should be ushering in the kingdom. Right. And every sphere of influence that we've, we have access to.
Amen. Amen. So what I did was I asked AI Right. And that is one of the.
Allen Iverson.
Yeah. Yeah. The answer. Isn't it funny? His nickname was the Answer.
How Prophetic man.
Yeah, right. Wow. Yeah. He should be in every AI commercial there is right now.
Why isn't he?
I don't know.
Come on. Shout out if you need me to rep you. AI just hit me up. I'm a good agent.
Right, right. So AI is, has become the norm in 2025. And I asked AI to give me a list of some of the, the trends of 2025, some of the bigger news stories. So. And I asked AI to give it to me with the data as well. So there's different polling, poll statistics from Barna, Pew, Gallup, all different polling sites, companies. So if you want to fact check it, go right ahead.
Yes.
You're actually fact checking chat GPT. Okay. And they can't be wrong. You can't be wrong.
Well, anyway, another topic.
Well, anyway, 21% of US workers now utilize AI day in, day out.
So it be more than that, really.
Well, think about if you're like a garbage man.
Right? Yeah.
There's still a lot of trade jobs. Well, think about it. There's a lot of people who aren't working now because of AI.
Yeah, it's true.
They've been replaced by AI. True. Even my wife at her job, they, they said, before you write an email, like, just go to whatever AI tool they use and just throw some thoughts in there and let, let it publish the Email for you.
You can even tell it to like select the tonal tonality that I want to deliver this in. Yeah, right. Yeah. It's wild. Right?
So AI, we're in the year of.
We're using it. We use it with our companies. Yeah, yeah. Like we've, we've created a, A, like a lot of what we do are seminars and so a lot of what I have to do throughout the week is just listen to people's recordings and that takes so much freaking time. But we've developed an AI tool that, you know, we can just upload our reps presentations now and it gives me a scorecard based upon all the data that I had given it. It's going to save me so much time. So much time for that.
Yeah. Thing with AI is, and some of it's quite funny, I, I think I sent you the video of the guy there. There's a guy who goes around pranking people and he'll like take a picture or a video of somebody in a supermarket, then make a quick AI video out of it and then walk up to them like they're famous. Like they, they post and they're like, oh, that is me. And then after they admit that it's them, they'll the video, the AI video will have like some other dude come up and kiss him on the mouth. That's not me. And they usually curse and react how most people would react. But AI is scary.
It is, man.
So Ezzy, who's five, you know, sometimes we'll be watching a video and he'll say, is this real? And I'll be like, what do you mean is this real? And like even in its five year old mind, he has a concept of some things you see on video may not actually be real.
Ye. Yeah.
I'm like, man, that's wild to think about.
It is. Yeah. You can't just take things.
Yeah.
As you would think, as we used to, you know.
Right, right.
Yeah. It's important. That being said, Epstein lists are being sent out now. I don't know if those photos are AI or not.
Right. We'll see. Who knows? I'm at the point where I don't want to say I don't believe anything. I mean, I believe scripture and yes. But at the end of the day it's. You could give me the most devastating, like newsworthy thing possible that like I just wouldn't believe. And I'm at the point where could be true.
Right.
You know?
Could be.
Yeah.
It's so true.
Not because of AI because the world is just crazy.
Yeah, it really is. Yeah, it is. What else we got, man?
So the acceleration of fatigue, stress, loneliness, waning patience. We are definitely in a culture mostly because of this AI where we have zero patience, zero toleration for. For anything. If we have to wait and all waiting is. And why we don't like to wait and why, you know, the Bible covers it a lot.
Yeah.
Is because it's really an omission to our souls that we're not in control.
Y. Right.
Yep. So if we're not in control for two seconds, we. We freak out. Nowadays, however, interesting enough that Americans self reported their self reported mental health of Americans. And this, this was a poll that was just taken is the lowest.
Right.
The. The lowest mental health health issues that are self reported, more tedious in the history of this country as long as they've been taking self reported mental health polls.
Wow.
So as stressed out, as fatigued as. As crazy as this world is, as lonely as everybody is, mental health is at a record low. Strange. Couldn't possibly be because now mental illness is. Has now been labeled by the devil first and then by those who choose to follow him rather than the word of God as being normal.
Yep. Yeah. Dude, no more Trump derangement syndrome. Right, Right. That's still active. There's plenty of them out there. But I think that's also just. I mean, that's. It's good news. Right. But I think it is testament to just the church. Right. Because a lot of the mental illness is. I mean, it's demonic oppression and possession at times. Right.
Yeah.
And we don't need to be. You don't need to pick a pill. I mean, I'm not saying all of it by any means, but you know, oftentimes it's a little bit of anxiety. Oh, you need this. Right. And dude, God has given us everything for life and godliness. Second Peter. Right. Everything is. He's given us the ability. We just have to turn to him.
Yeah.
Right. And so I think that is happening.
Yeah.
You know, call it revival or what you want to call it, but there's been some good things that we can take joy in here over this past year.
Yeah. Amen. Amen. Next thing is the mainstream distrust of institutions like government, which is not a new thing. Right. However, just this idea of relativity where there's no truth. And even recently, Candace Owens being on Piers Morgan where she literally said that Turning Point was complicit in the murder of Charlie Kirk. And when Piers Morgan asked her who. Who Exactly. In Turning Point is complicit in this. And she said, I never said that. And she was so defiant about it. Right. And it's like. And people don't care. Like, he called her out. She said she did a job. Yeah. Yeah. I thought he did a great job calling her out on it. And he didn't give up. He didn't relent.
Right.
And I mean, he is a. He is a journalist. Like him or dislike him. Like, he knows what he's doing as far as journalism. So he knows.
Like, you just said that.
Right, right.
She's like, no, no. My exact words were. No, your exact words were what he just said.
Right.
And then she had to clarify.
Yeah.
That's. You're just leading people astray, man.
Yeah. And then Ben Shapiro at Amfest saying, we're all dumber for hearing Candace Owens speak.
Right.
And what she said, he said. Right. With some of the stuff. And. And.
And speaking of Governor Walls.
And she's just becoming more and more popular. It's like, if you're a fan of Candace Owens, you. You just are becoming more loyal. Doesn't matter. Yeah. If what she's saying is truth or not, and I don't want it. That's not what this episode is about today. But it's just. And even everything we mentioned on these podcasts, on these shows is. Is scripture. And we encourage you, go back, read the Bible for yourself. We want you to be like the bereans in Acts 17.
Right.
Paul said to be like the Bereans who studied the Scriptures daily to make sure what Paul was preaching was a bullcrap.
Yeah.
Right. So. So read it for yourself. And, I mean, this Bible got in my lap right now. It's the only reliable source of truth nowadays.
Yeah.
That's the only real life. And the show, of course.
Of course.
And Dear America. Right.
Yeah. Shout out Graham.
Yeah. Identity confusion, of course. You know, very high LGBTQ identifications among Gen Z. Yeah. You know, Jace being a Gen Zer. So I don't know if he's one of those numbers, but 1% of Americans age 13 up identify as transgender. Like, 1% sounds like a low number, but there's a lot of people in this country. Yeah. And then. And the numbers are even higher for those under 13. That's demonic.
It really is, man. It really is, because it's. This just comes to parenting. Right. In my opinion, you know, if your child comes to you and a boy, it says, I think I'm a girl, you just say, no, you're not right. No, you're not. We're not gonna explore that.
Yeah.
It's like you're not right. It's simple. Just. Just don't give into that. I mean, it's just ridiculous.
Yeah, yeah.
We could go on and on about that, but.
And isn't it interesting how like gay parents, like trans parents who are able to adopt a child or had a child, then became gay. Whatever. Yeah. Just stupid.
It's multiplication in the negative.
Yeah. How many of their kids, like all these celebrities who are right. Are trans and gay or. Or at least support the cause? They all have these gay kids or. Well, they identify. They're confused. They're confused. Mentioned the. The age of relativity that we live in. And the study from Pew's Religious Landscape said 55% of U.S. adults say right and wrong often depend on the situation.
Wrong.
More than half of Americans think that right and wrong is dependent upon the situation.
It's not subjective.
Right.
We have a clear understanding of right and wrong based upon the word of God. Right, Right.
But that's why we can't even say that we live in an immoral culture anymore because that, that would imply that there's a standard of what truth is.
Right.
It's an amoral culture because nothing is right. Nothing is wrong. It's whatever your opinion is.
Yep. Yeah, that's like the atheist argument. You know, if. If they believe in good and evil, then there has to be a good. Right. And that good has to come from something. Right. And it's. You just can back them into that until every conversation with a liberal. I don't even if. If you call yourself a liberal Christian, you're not a Christian. I'm just gonna say that you're not. I mean, you can identify it no different than you're identifying as a trans person, but you're not.
Right.
You're the biological male or female. You are a Christian or you're not. And if you're not abiding by the word of God, Jesus is not Lord. And it's that simple. And if he's not your Lord, he ain't your Savior. He's not.
Oh, snip that Jace social media clip right there.
I mean, that's a hard thing. But this is why we are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Right? The fear of the Lord. If you don't have the fear of the Lord in your life, are you a follower of Jesus? That's a question that I think we all individually need to ask ourselves, because I was that Way I wanted Jesus as savior, not of my Lord. I don't think I was saved. Right. I don't, I mean, I don't know. I don't, I really truly don't know. Especially when I've just have studied this intently on can you lose your salvation? I don't think you can lose it, but I think you can walk away from it.
It.
Right. And I think a lot of Christians, we know that it's going to happen. It's going to continue to happen. There's many apostates out there and it's, it's just something that I think we need to be on the look for, especially going into 2026.
Amen. Amen. Next thing is the Islamification of America, which we talked about that a bit and we probably will continue to talk about that.
Yes, we will.
I, I just read that since 911 there's been 65,000 religious based terror attacks throughout the world and 98 of them were Muslims.
Yeah. Imagine that.
So.
Wow. So are you Islamophobe?
Let's not get into that again. Let's not get into that. But.
Oh man.
Yeah. So. And even more the last couple months, it's ramped up since the New York City election and well really since November, the, the election cycle.
Yep.
Different mayors, Dearborn, you know, and then what's her name, the one Ilya Omar. Yeah. So she really married her brother.
Yeah.
Bro. That's a new thing I'm seeing is most. A lot of inbred.
Most of them do.
Yeah.
And that's.
That, that makes them a bad person.
Definitely not. Right. They're just lower intelligence, you know. I mean it is. Yeah, but because that's culture. Right. Like, I mean that's a culture that they are just a part of and that's not Right. But it is just the culture. Right, Right. Yeah.
So moving on. You know, the bright side, church attendance has increased. The, the steady decline of Christianity that's been going on for a number of years has, has leveled off.
And for one particular travesty that happened here this past year. Right.
So although it's gen zers, who are these young folks who are identify more with the lg, with the Alphabet, you know, identities. Yeah. It's also that generation where I mean if you think about it, they're more confused than other than ever. And when you're confused, what do you do? Let me try to seek God. Right. And it doesn't mean you, you walk into a church, that could be the most intimidating thing on planet Earth if you if you've never been in church before, if you're not a believer of Jesus, if you're just curious to walk into a church, you have no idea what to expect. But all God wants us to do is to cry out, right? To, to just seek him. Seek him with a whole heart. Cry out to him. And that's, I mean, the, the most powerful testimonies I've ever heard, even my own, is the one you just simply cry out, you're at the end of your rope, you cry out, you surrender it all to him and God meets you right where you are.
Right where you are.
Yeah. So praise the Lord that these numbers are going up.
Yeah, absolutely. And it did. It's, you know, obviously the, the murder martyr d of Charlie Kirk is what sparked that. Right. And this is just testament too, of just God's sovereignty and that he works things for the good, for those that, that are called according to his purposes. Right. To those who love the Lord, he's going to work the things for the good. Even if you've experienced this, this could have been a really hard year for you personally. Could have been a great year for some of you personally. But I have so much optimism going into 2026, man. I think this has been a setup year for what God's going to continue to do if we continue to take action. Right. Faith isn't a stagnant thing. Faith isn't something that, you know, we're hoping for sitting on our couch. It's what we're doing. Right. That's the fruit. The fruit of our faith. Right. Should be the works that we're doing.
So. Amen. So let's go.
Let's keep it going.
Yeah, let's go. So let's get into this. So that we mentioned reflect, review, relaunch. So why don't you get into reflect a little bit?
Yeah, I think, again, we've done this a lot in the past five years individually. And so my hope or heart out of this is that, you know, you guys will kind of play along with us here on this, but also just, you know, maybe take some notes and spend some additional time because, you know, we would usually do this over, you know, a couple hour time period and still have people come back with, with new thoughts and ideas and things like that. And I think the important part of this is that we understand that before God's going to do a new thing in our life, he oftentimes calls us, calls us or tells us. I mean, there's many times in the Bible that we're told to remember, right? Just remember, remember the things that God has done. Because if you have had a tough year, we quickly forget all the things that he's done. Right? Think of the Israelites, they so quickly forgot. Then that 12 day journey turned into 40 years because of their grumbling and complaining. And if you are a pessimistic Christian, I, I don't, I don't even know like how that we can't be right.
At least not for long. You could have seasons where certainly, yeah, certainly we've all had those seasons.
But this is why scripture, what I love about the Word of God is that it's, it's not like what happened, but it's what always happens. Right. And there's such, it's an instructional manual. And if you look at it in that perspective, that's why it tells us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. Right. And, and it's like a lot of it starts with, you know, our mindsets. We're to be transformed by the renewal of our mind. Then we can test what is true and perfect, what God's perfect will is. So we should be transformed by the renewing. But then we're also supposed to test those things. Like are they, that's up to us to test those things. And, and does this decision that I'm maybe making in this next year is that God's will, is it not God's will? Right. So it's an active participation that we have to have in this sanctification process. Right. If you've just said, I'm a Christian, cool, I think I got a ticket. I don't think so. Yeah, Like, I mean, it requires repentance. Right. And that means to turn around, right. To change your way of thinking and to move in a different direction. And if you're just sticking in that spot, like it's time to get going. My hope and encouragement again is just that this is that launch year for you. Maybe, maybe it's a relaunch for you. Like, maybe you had a lot of zeal like I did at the age of 16 till about, you know, 20. And then I'm like, all right, I got it from here. Yeah, Right. And so that's again, just to come back to. Just like, like we want to remember what the Lord has done in our life. And if we start there, then we can start to review that process and then ultimately relaunch here. So a long kind of intro into this. But Psalm 77, 11, 12 actually says, I will Remember the deeds of the Lord. Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds. Deuteronomy 8. Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness. What we just kind of talked about. And again, I think if you just did a Google search on scriptures about the importance of remembering and you're going to get a whole lot of them that are going to pop up. Yeah. Right. So I don't think we have to, you know, anchor that in so hard, you guys. I think you probably get it and understand it, but I think that the point of this is that when we forget, you know, what God has done, it leads to fear in our life. Right. The fear of what ifs, which is going to lead to worry and anxiety. And worry and anxiety are simply, you know, us paying interest on a debt that we don't know. Jesus paid that debt. Right. Maybe he made some bad decisions. And the consequences, those are real life things. Right. Like that. That's. You're gonna have to handle those consequences. It's not that you become saved and now are a follower of Jesus and there's no more consequences. No, that's still something that you have to wrestle with. But you get to. Right. Versus just sitting in that worry of fear and anxiety. And just when we remember what the Lord has done, it's going to be. It's going to add fuel to our faith. Right. And so let's just spend some time and just remembering what the Lord has done, whether it's this last year or maybe in years back. Right. It's. There's. I think there's just such power and in taking time because we. Life is busy. Right. And this is such a great season for us to just reflect on, like, what has God done in our lives?
Yeah. Turn off the podcast after you listen to this one, you know, but. But turn off social media, you know, cut out the, the distractions and really reflect. And I, I could think for myself. You know, for the last handful of months, I, I've made a better effort of just being healthy. Right. And like, physically, physically healthy. And you know, I, I was okay with working out, but what I eat because it's like I'm 44 now, and in May, I had a procedure on my heart for this afib thing. I had an ablation. Yeah. And I, I'm reaping the benefits of just eating healthier. The. Just supplements and a lot of, A lot of fasting. Not just for, you know, for physical Reason or health reasons, but for spiritual reasons. But fasting, intermittent fasting.
Y.
And I'm reaping the benefits of it. And then if I don't take time to reflect, it's like, wait a second. Why did I. I. I've always been quick to preach about our bodies being a temple and how we take care of our. Our bodies, but it's like, I almost forgot that I had. Like, I was worried when I went through this hard thing and I. I made changes and now I'm doing this. So it's like reflecting back on even the worry. Like you said, like, God's word never returns void. I had that season where I was anxious, I was worried, which probably wasn't helping the heart issue. Right. But as soon as you find out you have a heart issue and they need to do a surgery or procedure on it, you like, oh, my gosh.
Right?
And then when you ask the doctor, it's like, okay, are there any risks in this? And the doctor says, well, it is your heart, and that's it. I'm like, okay, that. That helps.
Right? Thanks, doc.
Yeah, give me some freaking Xanax now. But. But it's really reflecting of. It's like, okay, what could I have done differently health wise? Just even how I approach worry, to just, you know, cast all my cares to the Lord to not be in that position or. I mean, doctors don't know why it happened. Could have been just completely random or not heretical. Hereditary.
Hereditary.
Yeah. It is heretical that. That Christians get sick. That's. That's heresy right there. Right? But, yeah, you almost forget. And one way I remember now, like, I don't journal as much as I know I should because it's always so good. I just found. When I didn't even tell you this, when we're putting up the Christmas decorations, I found an old box. I found journals that Lucy had from, like, when she was pregnant with Isaiah. Like, she was 15 years old and she's writing to the Lord. And I was like, holy crow. And we went in, we read some. And just phenomenal to. To read some of that stuff. Yeah. But what I do now is sometimes I'll just go through my photos through the year.
Oh, yeah.
Because if I don't have time to.
Jot on a guy.
Yeah, yeah. One. You're just. Just like, seeing your kids grow through pictures and, you know, I mean, Ellie's 13 now, so you weren't taking pictures like, you are Titus.
Dude, we have a lot. Yeah. I mean, the iPhone's been around since 06.
So, yeah, I feel like it just came out.
I know. Seriously, that's how old you are, bro.
I guess.
But yeah, one just popped up like 10 years ago, dude. I just got a notification on Facebook 17 years ago.
Like, dang, man, Facebook's been around 17 years.
Yeah, bro. Yeah.
Wild to think about.
It's wild that I've had that.
Yeah. We're getting old, man. Getting old.
Yes. It's another reason to reflect.
Yeah.
Right. And one thing, too, that I want to point out. If you've had a great year, the point of us reflecting isn't to glorify ourselves, right. But it's to glorify the Lord. And so, yeah, I don't know why. I just want to mention that. Just because it's. It's, you know, if you've. If you're like, yeah, man, God's been providing, right? It's like, it's important that we remember God's. God's the source, right? Because. And. And for those that have. That are even had a struggled year, you know, God is still your source. Your resources may change over and over again, but God is your ultimate source. And if you continue to go back to him for. For direction and guidance, he will provide.
Amen.
Question. Question on that. So once we reflect on that, right, and it's ultimately to give glory to the Lord, like, what, what he's done, what he's continuing to do, right, Is. Is for us to kind of review, go into a review mode, which is like, what is he speaking, right? What is he. He saying to us now? And. And when we do that, I want to make sure that, you know, again, we reflected. And that's about looking backwards and reviewing is looking inward, right? It's like, all right, what does God have for me now? Like, what, what, you know, where am I at in my walk? Where am I at? Maybe in my marriage, maybe as a father, as a mother, as, you know, where are we at? It's like we're going to reflect inward and, and really just take a. Take an audit, right?
Yeah.
Like, just review. What. How have I been doing? Am I. Am I where I wanted to be? Right? Because most of us, if you're the type that sets New Year's resolutions, I mean, did they come to pass, Right. I don't know what the percentage is that. Don't. But it's a lot. We all get this, like, gung ho, you know, feeling now because we're going to go pig out over the next two weeks and be complete gluttons And. And then we're going to start. Right?
Yeah. As far as failed New Year's resolutions, there's a reason why gyms will make membership for January like a dollar.
Yeah.
Because they know everybody will sign up and then not come, but not cancel because they don't want to admit that they.
Right. They failed.
Yeah.
Yeah. And through this process, too, of reviewing, I think it's important for us to. This is a chance for us to really be honest with ourselves. Um, because God already knows. Right. So sometimes our pride and ego gets in the way of. We justify why, oh, well, it didn't work out and, you know, whatever, but truly be honest with yourself. Like, were you committed? Did you decide? Mean you cut off all other options? So the choices that you make, I mean, they're already decided. Right. That's how this should be. Right. And if that's not where you're at in life, this is the time to review that. Right. And really, really just be honest with yourself. Because again, God already knows. And. And the. The point of. Of this life. We want to bring glory to God. And, you know, Scripture tells us that we all. Everything that we do, we are to work as if we're working for the Lord, not for any. Any man. Right. And, man, if. What if just every Christian actually abided by that right? There would be nothing but excellence. There would be nothing but excellence. Right. And that's. It's not meaning you're succeeding at everything, but you're giving it your all at everything. Right. Because that ultimately. And that's, you know, that's what we tell Ellie in school. It's like, you don't have to get straight A's, but I need to know that you gave it your all. Right. And oftentimes that leads to straight A's.
Right?
Right. Because you're just applying yourself.
Yeah.
So, yes.
If you're just dumb, it could be straight Caesar.
Could be. Yes.
That's what my.
If you just could just be straight Cs.
My parents always said, just. Just do your best. You know, we'll be happy if you're just doing your best. I try to convince them, like, being a C student was my best.
Yeah. I was like, bro, you know what's wild? My freshman and sophomore year of high school, I was like, you know, B's. I had maybe a couple A's because I just didn't care. My sophomore year, that summer is when I received Christ as savior. Lord and savior. And dude, it was straight A's junior and senior year. And I did. I don't, I don't feel like I applied myself anymore, but I know I did, Right. Because I just, I just approached it with a new mindset, a new attitude of like, yeah, I'm doing this. I should be excellent in everything that I do.
Yeah. So, yeah, it's funny how that works.
Funny how that works, right? Yes.
Yeah.
So if you're a complacent Christian, get going. Come on. There's no room for complacency in this, in this life, right? This, it's, it's. There's no excuse for it. There's no excuse, excuse for apathy. So.
Amen.
Some scriptures on this. Psalm 139. A lot of you guys probably know this. Search me, oh God. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. I mean, I think this is just like a daily prayer that it should be for many of us. It's like, God, if there is anything, anything in me, reveal it. Yeah, right. Reveal it. And because once, once it's revealed, then it's all right, are we going to be obedient or not? Right. And if you are that complacent Christian and you're just not like, yeah, you're going to, you're going to get more of that in your life. Right. And we're going to be accountable to all of this. And this is something that, I think we don't talk about this enough in the church, that there are rewards in heaven. There are rewards. We are going to be accountable for everything that we did, maybe things that we didn't do.
Right.
Which would be a good thing. Right. Everything, every word that we said we are accountable for. Yikes.
Are you convicted right now, dude?
I literally just got goosebumps.
Yeah.
I mean, this is the judgment seat of Christ, that bema seat. And this is something that we are going to be accountable for. And if, if you take on an eternal mindset, and this is where I think it's important, most of us here in America have this 60, 70, 80 year mindset of what I perceive as a successful life. Right. And that is meaningless. Right. What you do, this is like the preparation for the eternal life that we get to spend in heaven. And what you do today, what you do tomorrow is going to affect your rewards in heaven.
Yeah.
Which is. Dude, when I first read that, man, it was like, what, Snap. It's not just about getting in. There's actually going to be other rewards.
Yeah.
Like, that was so encouraging for me because I didn't I didn't know that. Like, I just thought the point was getting there. Yeah, like, no, dude, that's the starting line. Yeah, that's the freaking starting line.
Yeah. Get in. Then it turns out you're somebody's butler.
I ain't gonna be Christian's butler in heaven, I'm telling you, that still be better than the alternative. Right? But, yeah, I want him to be wiping my butt. Okay.
So do we. Being that, you know, we're in a glorified body state of perfection. Like, well, I don't even think we'll need to wipe our butt if there's any eating. Like, Jesus ate with the disciples in his glorified body, but did he have to poop it out?
I don't know, man.
I don't know.
These are the things maybe that you lay in bed at night and think of. Yeah, sometimes I take joy in my dumps. Oh, we're getting off track here.
Yeah. Yeah. It tends to happen.
That's all right, though.
Yeah. All right.
But here's. Here's what we want to ask. Ask yourself, right? Where did you obey? Right. Did you obey? Where did you maybe hesitate?
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah. Before you even get into hesitation, the obedience, like, where did you obey? And how much did you have to push through, like, to. To be obedient? Being obedient isn't necessarily an easy thing. Like, we talk about obedience all the time, but it's not. Right. Yeah. Like, being obedient is not easy.
Absolutely.
So even think about that. Like, did I struggle, Struggle with that? What did I have to muster up? Did I have to really, you know, dedicate myself, like. Like commit to the Lord in my prayer time? I am going to go forth with this. I, like, make a vow to the Lord. I'm going to go through with this. And, and really look at that. So I, I. That one just struck me, so. Didn't want to cut you off, but.
No, that's. I'm glad you. You did, because that's so important that obedience factors. Scripture says Jesus literally says, if you love me, you will obey my commands. Mic drop.
Yeah. Right. Yeah.
So if you don't know, if you are deliberately. If you know the commands and you are deliberately not doing it, that's disobedience. Right?
Yeah.
And you will be accountable for it.
Yeah. Yeah.
So, yeah. Where did you hesitate in situations like maybe shrunk back and discomfort. I didn't want it to be awkward. It felt, you know, hard. My. You were concerned more about your reputation versus actually, you know, speaking for truth, that's just a sign of fear of man versus fear of the Lord. And this is. Yeah, just review these things.
Yeah. What fruit did that produce? Right. Did I not do something because I didn't want to feel awkward? Like, what's the result of that? As opposed to I pushed forth. I, I didn't want to feel awkward, I didn't want to go. I, I was fearful perhaps, but you know, I took that step of faith, I did it. And what was the fruit of it? Yeah, I, I've never regretted like if I had a prompting from the Lord to do something, to speak to somebody, to pray for somebody, I've never regretted it.
Right.
Ever. And even when I look back at my 2025, the, the greatest like memories, I think, or the highlights are those moments where I was just simply obedient to Christ, where I know God was using me in that specific moment for whatever it was. Yeah, a lot of them were just like private one on one conversations where, you know, the Lord just gave you that download and blessed that person tremendously. Or he. I mean, you just got back from a trip from Mexico. Yeah, it's like, you got to talk about that, man.
Yeah, we just got back. Ash and I spent two days in Mexico City. Some of you guys know the King's Council, we are a nonprofit now. And so, and some people give to this nonprofit and just for those two that, that give to this as a ministry, it ain't going in our pockets. Not, not a single cent is we partner with some specific organizations, one of them being Troy Brewer Ministries. And Troy, for the past over 30 years, him and his wife Leanna have been rescuing kids from trafficking from just the most horrendous things that you could imagine. And we've partnered with them on a project in Mexico City. Just amazing. The government actually has saw the fruit that they've, they've been producing over the past few years and they gave them a, a 20 year lease on a property down there. But they had to build on it. They. And, and the whole intent is that they know where these kids are. Like they could literally go get them out of just horrific situations. Literally right now, as we're speaking that are happening, they could go get them, but they don't have any place to put them. And so yeah, we're building that, that facility down there. It's going to house, it's going to be the first home for boys actually in all of, in the entire country of Mexico. We have to house 25 boys, another 25 girls and it's just incredible what's going on there. But, yeah, we got to spend a couple days there with. There's 22 kids in the existing home right now, and it's. It's full. But, man, it just. The. The love and the. Just the joy going into that home was. I didn't know what to expect, man. Is it like, are they going to be standoffish because of the trauma that they've been in? That's kind of probably what I more expected. But I walked in, man, and it was just like, they were so excited to see us. Hugs, a couple boys in, like, suits that come up and shook my hand, and it was just incredible. And. And truthfully, part of this, because we've been seeking out a true partner in this for the past couple of years. We've flown in, spent days with people to vet out, because there's a lot of organizations out there that say they do a lot of things, but all they're really doing is raising awareness, right? Which is wild. Like, they're not actually. Even. None of those dollars are actually going to rescue kids. It's just to raise awareness. Just moronic to me. There's zero hands and feet of Jesus in that. And we want to partner and. And so on good soil. Right? And so that was part of us just checking that out. I, you know, know Troy. You know Troy and you know Brian Schwartz, some of you guys know him, who's been pouring into the King's Council. Just incredible. Man Is on staff with him as well. And so, yeah, we want to go down. We went down there and checked it out and, dude, I've got this re. I mean, it's interesting you've mentioned that during this review time. It's like, it has given me such a hunger and desire to just go operate in the gifting that God has for me. Because, you know, we're not. It's not a season in our life that we are called to do what Troy and Leanna do, right? And hundreds of people on their staff. But I can do what God has called me to do in this season, which is to make money, right? And. And I can. I can fund those type of projects. And so, yeah, it was a great time of just review of, like, okay, what has God done in 2025? How has he set us up? How has he open doors? How is he closed doors leading into us just considering what this relaunch looks like into 2026? Yeah. So, yeah, man, is.
But how. How fulfilled were you? I mean, when you picked me up from the airport and you started telling me about this, it was just like.
Yeah man, it was, it was such a confirmation in my spirit. Like that first night that I went there, like I welled up and like cried four different times and it was just like I knew, I knew in my inner being, like I knew in my knower of like this is it. This is what weird to do.
Yeah.
Right. And to operate in our God given assignment. And to me it's like that's what the body of Christ actually is collectively. Because again, I can't do what they're doing, but I can do my part. Right. And, and I believe that's a gifting that God has, has bestowed upon us. And, and I think if more entrepreneurs got behind that and we're actually like the, the patrons of those organizations. Because the worst that what Troy hates doing the most is fundraising. Right. Because it takes, I mean it takes an insane amount of money to run the. Because this, these, you know, in this home they had a psychologist, they have medical team, nurses that are coming in. Because I mean you can't even imagine. Again, what I love about this is not just the rescue, it's the restoration. Right. In the ultimately the transformation that takes place for, for these kids to actually know what true love is.
Yeah.
And, and not to be abused in such an evil manner. And that takes a lot of money. Right. And, and my philosophy has, has really been like one of the biggest enemies of every vision is lack of provision. Right. And if, if Kingdom entrepreneurs actually stepped up and operated in their God given assignment, they're calling to fund organizations that are actually doing the hard work. Like our work is the easy work.
Right.
Like if you think about it like that's work and if we just partnered, I mean what, what could the church do collectively to advance the kingdom? Right. And it, it's, it's, you know, evangelists are great. You want to do a crusade and, and try to get people to repeat a prayer. But man, when you become the hands and feet and you truly, you do, what true religion actually is in the Bible is to take care of widows and orphans. You're operating in your God given assignment and taking care of them isn't necessarily I'm the one there counseling them and nurturing them, but I'm funding them.
Yeah.
Knowing that in today's age it takes millions and millions and millions of dollars to, to operate in those organizations. And that's what we're about here in the King's council.
Amen. Well, honor to you, man. For, for Putting your. Your money where your mouth is. As far as.
Yeah, yeah, it ain't mine, dude. Which we got a new book coming out here in the next few weeks. I'm hoping we'll be able to announce this, the third book of the Kingdom Entrepreneur series. We've written two of these. So we've got the God's Proven blueprint, which is really just. Dude, if you're going to do anything, why would you follow the original blueprint of how God created everything, right? And that's kind of foundationally what the King's Council. It was our coaching template. And we still have, you know, if any of you guys want this, we have access to courses and things like that that we would love to get any of you. But it's also how to build a successful marriage, right? We wrote book two then, which is the creation mandate that we are called to create. The Bible actually calls us builders, right? And we are to build upon the foundation that Christ has laid. And if that is your. You feel like that's the calling or the gifting that God has given you to. To be an entrepreneur, to create things. It's incredible book for you. But this third one, man, I'm. This is the best one.
Yeah.
The other two are okay. They're good. But this is so good, we're diving into. We call the multiplication mandate, right? Which is Genesis 1:28, says that we are to be fruitful, to multiply, and to have dominion on this earth. Parable of the Talents is a prime example. We are. We are called to add value to whatever it is that we do, right? And so when we do this, like any of you, if you give your money to a money manager, you're not giving it to them to get the exact same amount back, right? You are giving it to them with an expectant return. And the Parable of the talents. Parable, the 10 Minas is no different, right? These are parables that Jesus gave. And this is something I think we should take seriously, right? And so we broke it down into four kingdom money principles. Principle of ownership. God owns everything. It ain't your money, it ain't any of my money, right? God just lent it to me to see how well I'm going to steward it, right? Which is principle number two. Stewardship. Yeah. Principle three is worship, which starts with the tithe, right? And we really break down on why the tithe is. It's an act of obedience. Number one, the church. I mean, what you're doing, it's not. God doesn't need your money. Like, for us to even think that is moronic. But he wants your heart. And coincidentally, when, when, you know, we're told we can't serve both God and money or mammon, this is the spirit of money attached to it. We have a choice. And I think the reason Jesus explicitly brings it down to those two, because those are the two that are constantly at war within our heart. And when we sacrificially give more, so just obediently give. It opens up the windows of heaven and see that he doesn't pour out a blessing upon us from Malachi. And if more Christians got into this flow or this alignment, I believe they would truly allow them to go into the fourth principle, which is kingship and biblical principles on sowing and reaping. So it's a really phenomenal book. I went. It was a long kind of ad for that, but definitely want to get that into all you guys hands. Yeah.
Amen.
So, yeah, we've. We're kind of doing a review session right here.
Yeah.
Because we've been at this book for almost two years.
Yeah.
You know, really, truly. So it's gonna be really, really good. All right, what else we got on review?
If you've ever heard of highs, lows, buffaloes.
Right.
So it's really the moments of joy, breakthrough in your life, those times where God used you most.
Right.
And where God's goodness was evident in your life, where you experience victory. Right. Those highs. And then you have the lows as well. The moments of pain, the moments of struggle, the moments of weakness. Maybe those times where you felt overwhelmed, you felt stretched, you were confused about something. And then you have the buffaloes. What are the buffaloes that. These are the challenges that you face head on.
Right.
Buffaloes run into the storm. They don't run from it. They run into the storm.
Yes.
So what were those moments? What were those, those mountains that you had that you overcame or those challenges that you, you didn't run the other way. You. You went full force because you knew this was what God was calling you to do. And oftentimes when God tells us to do something, it ain't going to make sense in the natural. You know, it's gonna be, how could I do that? That doesn't make sense. It's not logical.
Right.
That's not logical. Hold on, let me ask Chachi. BT is this. What, what are the analytics on this?
This.
How successful will I be if I, I go this path? And ultimately those are the things that we reflect on. And you'll always find that when you're running into those storms. No, not like just some crazy reckless cowboy, but when God's calling you to do something and you face, you face the, the, the tension, the, when you're convicted to do something, to go forth like that, you're never gonna, at the end of the day, regret it. Yes. Never.
That's what growth happens.
Yeah. And God, he blesses us in those situations.
Right.
Not, not only that, but God gives us the, the ability, gives us the authority to command those mountains to move.
Right.
And God will make those mountains a plane for us. And yeah, it's just good to, to go back, reflect on all these things. And like we said, we're, we're going through this, through an hour long podcast. But yeah, take some, take some time and sit with this.
Yeah. Because the importance of that is leading up to this, what we call relaunch. And if we're not reviewing, honestly, like, we can't relaunch. Like, it's just not going to allow. God's just not going to allow us to do it. Right. So we have to reflect, review honestly. Because if we review dishonestly, it's going to just lead into more of that 2026. Yeah, right.
Oh, go ahead.
I was going to say, because I really believe, I mean, scripture gives us examples of this, of being faithful with a little. And I think this is a part of that. Right. Like reflecting, reviewing. Are we going to be faithful with the little that we've maybe had right now? Because in order for God to release an assignment, he wants us to review our hearts, our hearts in place first. Are you, you can't pour new wine into old wine skins. Right. Are you, do you still have those old wine skins that you're holding on to? And so he's going to prepare us in these seasons again. Maybe it's a hard season for you, bro. I love hard seasons. But it's a perspective that I've had to take on because I know that he's prepping me for something during that season.
Yeah.
Right. And if, if we took on that mindset, it's like, it should be an excitement of like, man, when stuff starts to hit the fan, I'm usually like, all right, all right, it's about to get good.
Yeah.
Right. Because that's what we want to do is take all that information and now relaunch into what he has for us into 2026. Right.
Yeah. Well, I was going to say most people, they celebrate just the highs and usually celebrate for the wrong reasons. Right.
Yeah.
And Then you suppress or resent the lows, Right. You just try to forget about the lows and then you avoid the buffaloes. But maturity really comes when we learn to discern God, God's will in all three. Right. When he reveals his kindness, his grace, his mercy, his faithfulness in us in those highs. But then when the lows come also, that. What do we do? We're forced to depend on Him. And it. That reveals our dependence on Him. Where. Where are we truly? We could say, trust in God, trust in the Lord, I'm dependent on the Lord. But usually that doesn't come to. To pass or that's not revealed unless we're. We're facing those lows. And then the buffaloes is really that. That reveals our obedience.
Right.
What are we doing when those buffaloes come our way?
Yep.
Are we running into the storm? And I feel like when we have the Holy Spirit, we can kind of run into it like a reckless cowboy. Not, not, not reckless in a sense. Like we don't know what we're doing, but reckless like heck. Yeah.
The confidence.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Holy confidence.
Confidence. Yep, yep. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah. Which then leads us into relaunch. Right? Which is. This is where it gets exciting, I think, because. But. Or hopefully it gets exciting for you because some of us listening might have grandiose ideas or visions, which is incredible. Right? But that requires. Even when it comes to goal setting here into 20, 26, I'm sure some of you are going to set some goals and some New Year's resolutions. And you know, if you're waiting, this is why I've just thought New Year's resolutions are just silly. Because it's like, if that's a desire that you have, why are you waiting until the first of the year to start it? Right? Like the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. Yeah, right. So why wouldn't you start today? It's like you're, you're procrastinating and, and then you're just gonna try so you can preload an excuse of why you didn't do it. Right. Versus committing to this. Like, that's the concept of this trying versus training. Like, Paul says that he trains his body, he beats his body. He's not trying to be a follower of Jesus. He's in training to be a follower of Jesus. Right. And. And I want to be like Paul at the end when it's like, man, I've ran the race. I fought the good fight. Like, yeah, right. Like that's what we are called to do in this. And just a couple anchor scriptures when we're talking about relaunching here. Because for any of us, you know, if you have those grandiose ideas and visions, you want to be a world changer, the reality is you cannot be a world changer. Right? You're not going to be able to change the world unless you change your world. And when you start to focus on that, these goals and things that you're doing, they're all focused on the output. But I believe every goal that you have should be focused on the input. Because if you focus on, you know, what I can do, what I can control, the outputs are going to happen. Right? Right. Like, so change your goal setting this year. It's not that I'm going to go make this amount of money or I'm going to accomplish this things, but what do I have to do today to get me further to that outcome? Like, that's your goal. Your goal is that I'm going to get up, I'm going to make my bed.
That's what I was thinking.
I'm going to get up, I'm going to, you know, take my supplements. I'm going to get up, I'm gonna get in my car to get to the gym. Because once you're at the gym, they eat that. The hard part's over. It's getting there. Right? Whatever it is, just think about that as you're starting to frame your goals for 26. It's like, what are the inputs? What, what can I control? What can I do? Because most of us can't run a marathon today, but we can walk a mile. And if you commit to that today, by next week you can walk two miles. By next week, you can walk three miles, right? And that's this, this progression. Because we all want that, the outcome. But so many are few to put in the work to get the outcome right. So change your goals. Change your goals to this. All right, so Isaiah 43, forget the former things, right? So we've just reflected reviews now.
He's like, yeah, we're saying remember, forget, forget.
Yeah, forget it.
Yeah.
He says, see, I am doing a new thing.
Yeah, that's just incredible.
I just got goosebumps again, man. Yes. So encouraging Isaiah 68. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, whom shall I send? And I said, hanini, here I am. Send me.
Yeah.
This is our word. Was it last year? Yeah. Yeah. We really went a deep episode on that of like, here I am, God. What if. What if that was Our heart. And what if even our prayers changed from being a to do list of things that we want to just sitting with the Lord and asking God, what do you want from me? Like, how many of us honestly have done that? Right. And yeah, because oftentimes we go to the Lord with our prayer list. This is what I want. This is what I'm believing for. This is what I, you know, help me with this. And it's like, man, have you ever just sat with the Lord and just asked one question like, what do you want from me, Lord? And then sat there and listened? Because he will speak. Yeah, he will speak to you.
Right?
That gut feeling. Some people I've. I've never had this experience of like the audible voice of the Lord. If we draw near to him, he will draw near to us.
Yeah.
Right. But it starts with us.
Amen.
Right. He's. He wants, it's his will that everyone be saved. Right. He. That's his heart and his desire. But at the end of the day, he still gives us the choice. Right. And. And we have to be the ones that are going to take the choice. Right. And. Or make the choice and take action on that choice.
Yep.
Right. It's easy to say I'm going to do this or, you know, I was going to do that, but did you actually do the things that are going to accomplish the thing?
Yeah. And here I am is not just being willing and not just being available. It's being prepared, it's being trained.
Right.
Yet I remember a kid, I think I mentioned this on the show before, he never showed up to practice and then didn't play any games and always like, oh, put me in, coach. Like he was saying, here I am, like, I'm ready, I'm willing. But it's like, wait a second. But you're not prepared.
Right, Right.
So obviously we want that heart's posture to just be like, ready, willing.
Yes.
But the able part, that's where you got to get in your rips, your reps, in your private time. Right. Get the reps in that everybody wants to, you know, be a Floyd Mayweather. Right? Yeah. Nobody wants to work out like you worked out.
Right. So true, man.
No, you want the results, but nobody wants to put the reps in.
Yeah.
That's what we have to do. And the reps aren't just so, you know, ultimately. And God could use us no matter where we are. Right. If we're just starting out in our walk, God is always going to be able to use us in some capacity. However, I want to be ready. What if he calls me for the big things? What. What. What if you. You know. You know, what if Troy calls and says, we need a million dollars tomorrow?
Right.
Like, part of you putting your reps and the. The gifts that God has blessed you with, the ability to create wealth.
Right.
Let's say it's pretty good anointing to have. Right.
Thank you, Lord.
But you. You want to be able to be ready, because if Troy called tomorrow for that and we're in desperate need, these kids are going to have no place to live, or we're not gonna be able to save them if we don't have this. Right. That. That's your anointing. I want to be able to, you know, I want to be my Word every day. I. I teach the Bible. Yeah. So I. I don't. You know, somebody calls me to speak a word or it's just, you know, we're to be ready in all seasons. Right. In season, out of season. So that doesn't mean I only prepare. I only read the Bible to prep a message. No. Because then is God actually going to, you know, prompt me to go speak to that person, Speak a word if I haven't been saturating my. My. My soul, my mind, my heart with the Word all week? Probably not. And like I mentioned earlier, the most fulfilling times we could ever have in our lives is when we're just simply being used by God.
Yes.
Like, there's no greater euphoria. And usually it's times where you're getting your hands dirty.
Right.
Like, there's times of crying, you're dealing. When people, like, just spew all their issues on you like that. That's a lot. But then when. When God has you in that place to. To serve that person, to fulfill a need that there's nothing better. Yep.
So true.
Yep.
You're in that flow. Yeah. I know we're getting a little long on this one, guys, so we'll kind of quickly go through this unrelaunch again. It is one thing, too I want to challenge people on is to get out of your comfort zone. Right. Because when I read the Bible, I don't see any comfort going on. Right. Other than.
Yeah.
God using people to. To bless others, like, they're receiving comfort, like, that's the good news to them. Right. And. And there's. It's a lot of work. There's a lot of heartache, turmoil, like. And so especially here in America, I think we've. We're seeking comfort over calling.
Yeah.
Right. And if that's been you in this last season of your life, I'm called arms right now. Like, let's, let's get out of our comfort zone and let's do the hard things, do the, the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable. Right? And that's, I mean, so many analogies that we, we could put to this. And, and just even in regards to the obedience factor of this delayed obedience is disobedience. Right. So if you've been, if God's been prompting you for something, it's time to take action. Right? If it's like, you know, I'm gonna just wait till I'm, you know, wait till this, and then I'm gonna do this now. Take action on that thing, man. Because it's never, there's never going to be a perfect time.
Right?
Right. That's not a thing. It's, there's, there's always going to be an excuse if you already have excuses. Right. You're never going to get your ducks in a row. It's. That doesn't happen right there. You're, there's. This is why we, we take action. We make adjustments. We take action. We make adjustments. And I mean, even I think of Jonah in this, right? Like, he, it was, it was pure disobedience that he got swallowed up by a whale.
Yeah.
Right. And it wasn't like judgment that God had. Right. But he. Jonah, was purposely disobeying and God corrected him. Right, Right. And it, it was just like him getting into alignment of like, are you ready to go talk to Nineveh?
Yeah.
Yeah. Cool. I think I remember that from the Veggie Tales. What else on this? Well, what do you got?
Next week when we're lounging on the beach, we're gonna be getting into this a little more. First episode of 2026. And I, I know, you know, we're going to be down there with our families and, you know, you. Riley takes all the guys for. From one of his companies and families go. Spouses come. If they have kids, they bring kids. And it's a, It's a great time together, but a great time to, to go through this.
Yes. To. So we're going to do that.
Yeah. Reflect, review, relaunch.
Yes, yes. So encourage you guys with that. And again, I'm just going to end it on this. Of, of just if, if stop putting your comfort before your calling. Right. If you have that something. I know I'm speaking to somebody right now that you there. You just know that God's placed this on your heart and it seems insurmountable. Like, how can I do that again? You can't. You. You don't have to change the world. You just have to change your world. And your job is obedience. The outcome is up to God. And like, just. There's a freedom in that, right? There is a freedom in that. And. And what we view as success is completely opposite in the kingdom, right? Being successful in the. In the kingdom is being obedient to his word. And so get after it. Take action. Faith without works is dead. Don't tell me you have faith if you ain't working, if you're not putting action behind it, God will bless your footprints, not your butt prints.
Amen.
Amen to that. That being said, we'll see you guys next year.
Next year. Next year.
Yes. We'll be again be live from the beach in the Dominican Republic or somewhere where it's not too windy, I guess. Yeah, we'll see.
We'll see what our setups are in the Dominican Republic. Maybe not on the beach.
Yes, exactly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We'll be looking at the beach. You guys will be looking at our ugly mugs. That being said, rest, reflect or not rest, Review. What am I?
Reflect, reflect, review.
Relaunch. We'll see you guys next week. Peace.
