Well, that's what I want for me, my household here, because we're, we're called to be a peculiar people. If we're fitting in with the world, then guess what, are we part of the kingdom of heaven or are we part of the world? I don't want to fit in with the world by any means. It's. Yeah, we, we don't want to mimic the patterns of the world because ultimately the, the world. If you love the world, you're at enmity with God. You can't love the world, be in the world, be a part of the world, mimic the things of the world and have a real relationship with the Lord because there'd just be too much conviction of the Holy Spirit to allow you to do that.
As parents, I think we need to really understand, again, if you're a follower of Jesus, like you are the spiritual authority in your household, you are the spiritual gatekeeper even in your household. And as for me and my house, like, we will serve the Lord, and we're not going to come into alignment, into an agreement with anything that has anything to do with darkness. And so, yes, we are to, to be light in a dark world, but participating in, in coming into agreement with those rituals and things, I think is, is out of alignment with what God would have for us.
And if the answer is, is no to any of these, right. Then you have to reject it. You have to.
