Salvation isn't the end goal of Christian life, just the entry point. The real aim is entering and living in God's Kingdom. If salvation were the final goal, everyone would already be in heaven.

Everything that I, I thought, and as I was reading the scriptures prior to this, it's like, man, well, it's about being saved. As Troy even talked about this morning, it's like, well, I got to be saved, and I got my ticket. I'm on the J train, baby. Like, that's it, right? And I thought, what's next, just to go get other more, more people saved? Okay, but if salvation was the goal, if salvation was the goal, wouldn't we just all be saved and take us to heaven right away? Right, salvation's not the goal. It's certainly a means to the end, but the goal is the kingdom.
