The Hard Truth About Islam in America (Christians Need to Wake Up)

Rylee Meek argues the US was founded on Christian moral assumptions and that Islam as a political system threatens American constitutional order. He cites statistics on Islamist-linked violence since 9/11 and urges Christians to vote, run for office, evangelize, and defend the nation's Christian foundations.

Foreign, Everybody, welcome back to the King's Council. You guys got me solo today, but welcome, welcome, welcome, guys. Let us know where you're, you're dialing in here from in the chat. As you guys know, the King's Council, we're here. Like I said, Christian's not with me today. He got me solo. But that's not going to change a thing at all today. We're still going to have some unfilled filtered conversations. We're going to talk about culture, we're going to talk about politics even a little bit today. But we do this obviously, you guys know, from a, from a kingdom perspective, right? We do this. We want to impact lives, we want to transform culture. What we see it here in America today, which is why I am diving into Islam, Islam today. And, and the threat, the actual threat that it is here in America. So I'm gonna, I don't think I'm gonna go extremely long today with you unless. Who knows? Who knows. Sometimes I go on some, some tangents here, but I wanted to dive into this and really just have a, like I said before, an unfiltered conversation about what this means here in America, understanding how America was actually founded, right? What we were founded upon and, and the threat that we face here today in 2026, right. Sometimes we're told that America was founded to be neutral, right? Faith, faith free, but like, like pluralistic by design, right? And, and today we're, we're now even, even given this, this threat of Islam here that, you know, we're told that it's just, it's another private religion. It's no different than Judaism or Buddhism, right? Or, or even Christianity. If it's like, hey, if you want to be a Christian, then we have the right to be Islamic or in, you know, the Muslim people group, essentially. And yes, there is that right to an extent. Right. But the reality is Islam is not just another private religion, right? It, it is definitely different than other religions that are out there. And it, I want us to have this, a clear understanding of why, because I mean, if you are like most Christians, you haven't dove into to, you know, what the Quran actually says in demands of them. And if you are a Muslim and you abide by the Islamic faith, if you actually are obedient to what it says, then yeah, that, that, that has no, should not be allowed here in America. I'm just gonna, gonna boldly say that because at the core of it, you guys all know my, my, my faith. And I believe that most of our Us listening have, have that similar faith as well. Or at least you're, you're curious about it. But reality is if you are, if Jesus is not your God, if he's not Lord of your life, you are serving a, a demon. That's just that, that is the, the fact of the, the matter, okay? The, the Bible is inherent. It is, it is the truth. It is the living breathing word of God. And if you are, are finding or, or idolizing anything else other than Jesus, you're mistaken, right? It is, it is a false religion. And, and I mean Scripture even tells us this, that, that Satan will disguise himself as an angel of light, which if you read the Quran, that's actually how Muhammad apparently got this revelation of, of what the Islamic faith is actually what the Quran, how it was actually written. And so it's evil. It is evil. And I, I am not ashamed to say that at all. I've gotten a lot of hate on that. You'd be, it'd be. I'd love to share some, some direct messages I've gotten from people and I'm not going to shy away from that at all because truth is truth, okay? And, and I do know that God's word does not return void. And I will abide by this. And, and I will stay firmed in my. Firm in my faith and I will endure till the end as Scripture commands us to do. Right. And, and the reality is, what I want to be clear on this though is I don't want to. This isn't a conversation about fear, but it's about truth, right? And it's about history. And ultimately what I think is the responsibility that we as Christians need to take on. Right? Because ideas shape nations, right? And bad ideas, they don't fail quietly, right. They can destroy civilizations slowly. Right? And then all at once, okay? And this is the reality that we're facing here in America. See, Christians in America, I'm assuming you're sensing that, that something's wrong, right? And, and I'm hoping this is, is welling up inside you of, of just a hunger desire to not be silent. Right? Because sometimes we can feel pressured to stay silent and oh well, we're supposed to love others, but love is not accepting of, of just anything. It is not accepting of evil. It is not accepting of sin. It is not accepting of, of, you know, if we really love somebody, we're going to correct them and put them down the path to eternal life. And, and we need to understand what love actually is. Okay? It's, it's not acceptance. Right? And so while we may be told that we're. We're speaking hate, I would completely argue. I believe God would as well, is that, no, we are speaking truth. Okay? And, and this conviction that I. I'm hoping is inside of you as well, well, well, will burn. Right? And it, It'll. It'll actually bring you to a sense of like, you know, winning people to Christ, but standing firm in your faith and not allowing evil to take precedence in. In your lives, in. In. In our nation. Okay? Because that, that's the threat that we're actually. That. That. That's actually coming against us right now. Okay? Script. Scripture tells us that we're. We're to test the spirits, we're to discern the times and to love truth more than comfort. Right? So today I want to ask us two questions here. Just honestly, just, just two honest questions. That. Which is. I mean, you know, the answers to these. But number one, was America founded as a Christian nation? Okay, quick, short answer to that is yes. And I'm going to, you know, provide some background on that. And Islam. Is Islam a threat to the American order? In another short, quick answer to that is yes. All right, so let's just. Let's just break this down quickly today, guys. All right? The question is not, you know, when it comes to was America founded as a Christian nation, the question question isn't, you know, was America a theocracy? Okay. Because that's not real. There's not a historian out there that'll. That'll actually claim that. But the question is, was was America founded on a Christian moral assumption? Right. A biblical worldview in belief of. Of our founders that had an objective truth rooted in God, rooted in the word of God. Okay? And the answer to that is clearly yes. Right? The founders referenced God multiple times, okay? And, and they spoke in. In creating the Constitution. They spoke of. Of God. They spoke of divine authority, they spoke of moral law. And, and to have any sort of moral law, there has to be a good and an evil, right? Otherwise, it's just. Your truth is my truth, right? No, there has to be a true objective view of what that is. And this is what our. The Founding Fathers actually. How they created the Constitution and how America was actually founded, right? They. They wanted accountability not just for. For men, but ultimate accountability before our Creator. Okay? And the early American law assumed things that, that modern secularism, secularism that we see today. The founders just assumed things, right? Like they couldn't assume that we would be so far off track that we are Today, but they, they assume things that what, what we see today is just commonly rejected, right? That, that right and wrong are, are, they're a real thing, okay? That it's not your truth and my truth, but there is a true right and a true wrong. And they, we also know that, you know, just human nature, we are all fallen, right? That, that's, that's a real thing, but it just keeps getting pushed further and further and further away from actual truth. Okay? And, and what we have to understand here is that when it comes to what that truth is, that that is ultimately again back to just what, what our founder, how the founding Fathers formed the Constitution in the founding of the United States here is that it, it has to be governed by a moral, moral people group, right? That virtue, you know, excellence essentially it that is necessary for freedom to actually continue. Okay? America is God's hand of favor has been upon this country. We are the only country in the world that is, has had this, this type of democracy or, or this, this type of governing rule for as long as we have. Okay? And we understand that we are a republic, but we, we are the only ones that have actually had this last for the 200 and some years. I don't even know what, what the math equates to now. That is that it's, that it's actually been that long. Okay? And we need, as, as Christians, we need to continue to fight the good fight, right? And if, if, because if we don't, this will fail. It will fail, right? The Constitution itself, it, it assumes something radical. Okay, hear me on this. That assumes something completely so radical that we can't even imagine what this is. But, but the assumption is that citizens can govern themselves. That, that's the assumption here, right? But that assumption only works if people are moral. Okay, John Adams said this plainly, right? It wasn't some sermon that, that, that was spoken. But this is what John Adams said is that our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. That's it. So if we're not moral, right? And it's not religious in the, in the sense that Islam is a religion, but it's people that have a true. Because if you read the Quran, if you understand what that morality is, it's, it's evil right there from reality. There's good and evil, okay? And that comes from, from God our creator, right? Who sent his son Jesus to die on the cross only to be raised again as, as the perfect sacrifice for us, right? To allow us to continue to have relationship with him and ultimately eternal life with him that is, is, is, is the moral precedence or, or the, the moral foundation that, that only this, this country can continue to thrive upon, okay? And, and if, if, if, if that doesn't happen, then America as we know it will not continue, right? And, and why I get so passionate about this, guys, is, you know, I'm 40 years old, right? I've, I've lived a good life. I'm hopefully, you know, maybe only halfway through it, but we'll see. But I have kids, right? And I believe some of you have kids and grandkids and, and this is why we have to fight for this, okay? And I'm not talking about fight like we, we have to get radicalized in any sense, but I'm, I'm talking about fight meaning stand for truth, right? And, and vote appropriately, right? Call out evil when, when we see it evil, okay? This isn't about like going into, you know, a combat battle, although, you know, maybe at some point it could lead to that. But, but this is about just stepping up in, in believing or standing upon what we believe, right? The, the phrase, you know, separation of church and state gets, has gotten thrown around a lot, right? And it was never meant, it was never meant to remove Christianity from the public life, okay? It wasn't, wasn't meant to, that, that as Christians we weren't supposed to speak into the public life, right? It meant that there was not going to be any state controlled church, okay? It was, it was more so that the government cannot step into the, the pulpit, okay? And, and that is clearly happened, okay? So, and this is what evil does, right? They, they call good evil and evil good, right? And they start to twist things and, and then leaves us confused. Like, wait a minute, what I, I've heard these things and you know, what is, what is the actual truth? The, the separation of truth and state is that the fact that the government cannot or should not be allowed to come into what the church, right? I'm just saying capital C. Church here does, right? They can't say that. You have to believe this, okay? That, that's not what, what I'm referring to at all. That's not Christian nationalism, okay? I'm a Christian first and foremost. And I love my nation, okay? And that's what Christian nationalism is, all right? So it ain't bad, right? I'm going to call myself a Christian nationalist. I love Jesus Christ and I love my country. And it's not in the reverse order and it shouldn't be for any of your lives as well. But if we love Jesus, you know, the most obedient thing we can do is to love the Lord our God with our heart, soul, mind and strength. Second is to love our neighbor as ourself. If we love our neighbor, the, the greatest thing that we can possibly do is to stand for truth. Even though they're going to hate us while we do it. That's, that's how we love them. That's how we truly love. And we act in obedience in accordance with, with God's word. Okay. And, and just back to even the, the early foundation here of, of America, okay? They actually, they brought chaplains in often in know we are seeing that now. Trump has the, the faith. I forget the name of it. Faith counselor, the, the, the faith advisory board, right, which is amazing, right? They, they early on open sessions with prayer. We're seeing that again now. They, they actually encouraged Bible distribution. They wanted it to happen. They wanted people to understand morality. Right? And, and it, the, the, the point here that I'm making is that America was not founded to be secular. It was not founded to be secular, right? It was founded to prevent tyranny. That's what they were escaping. And they founded it to prevent tyranny by assuming virtue, right? By assuming that, that there is a moral, objective reality here within humans. And, and that is just, it's the line just keeps, keep, keep getting pushed further and further and further back. And when that collapses, right? When that virtue collapses, freedom follows it. Okay? And, and just understand here that as Christians when, when so many Christians go silent and they shouldn't like, but when they go silent, that's when we start to lose freedom. People that, that, that if you are a Christian and you, you don't, you don't understand this. Just look at, look at history. Look at, look at what has happened and what will continue to happen, right? And, and we know that the advancement of the gospel, right? How Jesus sent out the, the 12 and then, and then the, the 70 and, and, and like it just, it just continually advanced through persuasion, right? Having discussions. But conviction, conviction by the word of God, right? And through people's individual consciences. Consciences can't even say that word because God's law is ultimately written on our hearts, right? So the, the, the advancement of the kingdom, the gospel of the kingdom, right? This happens through just persuasion, conviction, right? Through an inward transformation that, that people have. And, and Jesus clearly separated the, the two, right? He separated his kingdom from earthly coercion. Well, we're going to call it that, right? That conversion to becoming A Christian to seeing Jesus as savior, as lord of your life. It's completely voluntary, right? The church and state were distinct. No, no question on that, right? But what Jesus spoke into a lot was a lot of the political leaders, everybody, the, the Pharisees, if you understand that the Bible and, and who establish rules and laws and organizations. That's where. That's what we're called to do as followers of Jesus. We have to speak truth into those that are setting rules and setting laws in place for us to live in, right? To live in a society that even. That still allows us to actually worship the one true God. Because the, the alternative to this Islam is completely different, okay? It is the antithesis of this, right? Not culturally, but, but structurally, okay? And, and this distinction is what matters because Muslims, while they are made in the image of God, okay, no different than, than myself or you listening to this. Muslims are, are an individual human that has been made in the image of God, right? No different than anybody else. But Islam as a religion is a political ideological system, right? It's a, it's a religious, legal political system, okay? Islam does not separate mosque and state. We have to understand this here. Sharia law governs. It governs everything. The law, this. Your speech, what you can and can't say your sexuality, right? It governs punishment. It. And we cannot allow this to happen in America, right? Political authority is the religious authority, okay? And be clear, this is not Islamophobia. I've been called that a fair amount, right? That this is Islamic theology. This is, this is what they desire, is, is rule through a, through every means necessary. Where Christianity, we limit government, okay? And is. Islam totalitizes it, right? Like they are not separate, okay? And these are fundamentally. They're incompatible versions of society. You can just look at every other, you know, Islamic country that, that's out there. But they cannot coexist. You see those people with those coexist stickers on the back of their, their cars, they're idiots. They are, because that, that cannot happen. Just assuming they're. They're obedient, faithful followers of that Islamic faith, right? And, and you know the title of this is that Islam being a threat in America. I want to define threat because your Muslim neighbor, maybe your doctor, your co worker, anybody, anybody that, that you know, calls themselves a Muslim, they're not necessarily the threat, right? The threat is Islam, okay? The, the, their, their push to align society with Sharia. Incompatible, incompatible governments, right? If you just look at the data, I've got some, some wild data here for you guys, that since 9 11, okay, we all remember. Well, maybe not all of us. We've all at least heard of 911 depending upon how old you are. Right? But since 9 11, over 65,000, 65,000 Islamic terrorist attacks have occurred in more than 70 countries. That's just in the last 25, 26 years. 65,000 Islamic terrorist attacks. Right, and according to, who is this? According to govern the global terrorism tracking data. Right? Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism combined that, that. So all four of those combined made up 2% of global, global attacks. All right, so we're not even in the same hemisphere as far as comparing these two. Right? This is, this is wild, guys. The global Terrorism index actually reports that the, the Sahel region and I'm going to put the, the links to these things in the show notes for you guys so you can actually read. This is, this is not something that I'm just making up, but this is actually data that they, they've compiled here and realize that the Sahel region accounts for over half of all global terrorism deaths. Okay. Islamic State operates in, in 22 countries. Okay? That's the Islamic State, right? When, when Islamic rules, they rule everything. They're, they are politically. And you don't have the choice of, of freedom of religion. Right? And terrorist attack. Terrorist attacks in Western nations have jumped 63%. One in five terrorist suspects actually in Europe are under the age of 18. This is wild, guys. Very, very young. And teenagers now account for most teenagers. This is account for most of the terrorist arrest that we will just call them. All right, so thankfully they are getting arrested. But again, this isn't Islamic phobia, right? This is not prejudice. This is pattern recognition. Pattern recognition, right. And pluralism, again back to that. That only works when all belief systems agree to the same rules. Their belief system does not agree to, to the rules of the Constitution at all. Right? Islam by its own text doesn't agree with that. So why in the world are we just continuing to let them come in and, and to get elected into these offices to ultimately have authority in, in their ultimate dominion that they're, they're looking to establish. Why are we allowing that to happen? Right? And just some objections that I even want to just overcome here is that because I, you know, I've gotten a lot of hate in the, in the DMs on this of, of Islamophobia. No, right. This is not a Islamophobia. This, the fear of people is. That's wrong. All right. But the critique I'm going to call it of ideologies. That's necessary. That's absolutely necessary with this right. Christianity critiques every worldview, including itself. And Christians have done violence too. Yes, they have. I will absolutely agree with that. But when they did, they violated Christ's commands. They violated Christ's commands. The Bible never speaks of that. Right? Is Islamist like the, the violence that they're doing in, in objecting upon us here is justified as obedience according to their scriptures. I don't even know if they call them scripture versus we're going to call it. All right? And, and that difference actually matters, okay? Because freedom of religion, Freedom of religion means, you know, you can, you're free to, to worship whoever you want, right? And, and what I want to really just preface or, or want us to understand this year is that. Yes, that is true. Okay? That is true. But no society survives unlimited tolerance of intolerant systems and ideology. I'm going to just say that again. No, no society survives unlimited tolerance of intolerant systems. And freedom of religion does not mean that you have the freedom to dismantle the Constitution. Freedom of religion does not mean that you have the freedom to dismantle the Constitution. Right? And as Christians, what are we supposed to do here? Right? It's, it's, I think it's very simple. We gotta reject two things here. Reject silence, right? But we also need to reject rage filled hostility. And that could be hard. Yes, that, that can be hard. Okay. Again, we are to, we're to love our neighbors, right? If we, if there, if we have neighbors who are Muslim, love them, we're to evangelize to them boldly. Right? But we also need to oppose the ideologies that they have and, and, and ultimately, especially if they are devout Muslims, right? That ideology that they have undermines religious liberty. Right? It undermines equal justice in, in the constitutional law. Okay? And as Christians, one of the most basic, simple things that we have to do is vote, right, Run for office, raise up the next generation of those that are going to rule and, and run for office based upon the biblical foundation, the moral foundation that this country was actually founded upon, right? We need to protect women, we need to protect children, we need to need to protect free speech and we need to protect free religious liberty. Right? We, we have to protect that. And if, if Islam is, is just allowed to continue to, to take over, that is going away. That is going away. If Christians won't govern with, with, with virtue, somebody else will and they're going to govern without it. This is why we have to pastor if you're not talking about this from the pulpit, you have to, I beg you to, to equip your, your, the, the flock that you've been given to, to actually speak truth to these things, right? Because if, if, if Christians don't govern with virtue, somebody else will without it. And this is the call that, that we have to stand for here in America, right? And, and as a follower believer in Jesus Christ, my hope is not in a political party. My hope is not in even this country. My hope is in Jesus itself. That being said, we, we are put on this, this earth here and now and we are called to steward well what he's, what he's given us. And we've been so blessed to live in this country, in this nation. What are we doing if we're just sitting back in, letting things take over? We are not abiding by just the, the one of the intentions that, the purposes of why he would have put us here on this earth to be fruitful, to multiply, to have dominion, the original mandate that he had actually given us. America is not post Christian by accident, right? Vacated ground is always occupied. Vacated ground is always going to be occupied. And if, if Christ retreats, if we allow this to happen, meaning he, he retreats from the public life, the public square, something else is going to take its place. And that's what we have actually seen, right? So as, as followers of, of Jesus, this is what our call has to be, what it should be to do, right? And again, this isn't about hating on Muslims, right? It's about loving them. Loving them with, with truth. Right? And loving our nation enough to protect its foundations. Psalm 33 actually says this. It's 33:12. It says, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. The Lord is Jesus, the Lord is Jesus Christ. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. And if we allow another Lord, you know, lowercase to take over here, we are going to lose the freedoms that we so take advantage of here in America, take for granted here in America. So my charge to you, my commission to you is to rise up, to get to work, to understand what the Bible actually says and, and understand that faith without works is dead. Faith without works is dead. Right. I've oftentimes talked about this, that there's going to be two judgments. Well, the Bible talks about this. I just like to talk about it, that there's two judgments that, that are going to take place in heaven one day, right. No matter what. Well, some of us won't get to the second One, the Great White Throne judgment is ultimately, are you getting in or out, right? Have you received Christ as Savior, as Lord of your life, right? And that's the judgment that unbelievers are going to face, right? And it's not God sending them to hell. It is, it is the consequences of them not receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior of their life. That's all it is. It's eternal separation from the, from the Creator of all things. And it's, it's simply because they made the choice not to. Not to receive him as, as Lord and Savior of their life. The Great White Throne judgment, the other judgment that we are going to have, assuming you have received Christ as Savior of your life, Lord of your life. All right, we bypass that Great White Throne. It's like, cool. We get to spend eternity in Heaven. Just got goosebumps saying this. We get to spend eternity in true relation with our Creator, with God Almighty, man. But there's also this second judgment, this. The. What's called the Bema seat or the judgment seat of Christ. And, and this is where we are going to be judged according to what we did while we were here on Earth. If you don't believe me, if this is the first time you've heard this, just look it up, right? Just go, go to Google, right? And, and, and type it in. It'll bring it to the exact verses because there's multiple references of this kind of sprinkled throughout the New Testament. And this judgment seat, right, it says some people are gonna, gonna get in just by escaping through flames. Okay? Like, they're barely gonna get in, right? We probably are gonna, you know, recognize some of those people. It's like, oh, cat man, you're here. Wow. And then as it explains us what this judgment seat is, it's. We're going to be held accountable to, to what we did while we were here on Earth, right? Did we stand? Did we fight for the protection of our children? Did we fight for the widows and the orphans, right? What, what true religion actually is, according to the Bible, to care for them. And the best way to care for them, the best way to love any of them is, is to allow them to have the freedom, the ability to, to just worship who Jesus actually is, right? Our Lord and our Savior. And, and this is my charge to you, is that you need to take this seriously, right? There are going to be different rewards in Heaven. There are. Some people are going to have different rewards, different crowns that are going to be given out, robes that are going to be given and My challenge to you is what type of entrance do you want to have, right? The book of Second Peter talks about having an abundant entrance into heaven. And if you want that abundant entrance into heaven, then get off your butt. Speak truth boldly, right? Be humble before God, but bold before man. Because nothing else matters. It doesn't matter how much money you have in your bank account. It doesn't matter how many toys you've accumulated, right? None of that is going to be rewarded in heaven. It is. What did you do with what I gave you? The parable of the talents, the parable of the 10 Minas, I think are just great examples of this as well. That we are called to multiply what God has given us. This is what we're called to do, right? And if you guys remember the story, it's the one who got five doubled it, the one who got two doubled it, and the one who got one simply buried it. They sat on their talent. I just love that the word used here is talent. I mean, that's a measure of money back in the day. But it's fun to think about too. Just like a talent, like all of us have been given talents, different skill sets, different abilities. And, and if we relate it to that, like, what is it that that God has given you? Is it, is it the ability to do something that nobody else can? Right? And even if it's. If other people can do it, he's still giving it to you. He's giving it to you to steward. And, and when you give anything to. Will take a, you know, use. Continue to use the money concept when you've given, when you're giving your money to a money manager or a financial advisor, do you give that to them in hopes that they don't lose it, or do you give that to them in hopes that they increase it? Right? And this is what God has given us all. Different talents, different abilities, different skill sets. And did we increase it? Were we faithful? Were we faithful with what he's given us? And as, as believers, as Christians here in a, in, in a current Christian nation, I'm still going to call it that, right? Because that's what we're founded upon. It may look radically different than what it did 200 and some years ago, but are we still gonna steward that well? So our kids, kids, kids can actually steward that well, who knows, Maybe Jesus will return by then. But we are called to occupy until he comes. Book of Luke tells us this. We are to occupy until he comes. Occupy the kingdom, right? When, when we pray the Lord's prayer. This isn't just something that we. We to repeat. This is a. This is a. A structure, a framework. Call it. I love frameworks. Right? It's a framework of open. Of how we should pray. Like our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Like we're declaring his holiness. He is, he is Lord, right? He is holy. Right? When we ask your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Right? These are, these are declarations that we, we need to stand in agreement with. But our actions have to follow our declarations. And, and if they're not, I'm challenging you today to step up step. Start actually living the truth that you claim to believe. Start living the truth that you claim to believe. If you believe it. Scripture tells us that they will know us by our fruit. And fruit doesn't just happen. Fruit. When we start to bear fruit, it means because we are rooted in God's truth and we are. We are actually doing the things that the Bible commands us to do. Right? Jesus says that if you love me, you will obey me. So are you occupying until he comes? That's my charge. That's my challenge to you guys on the threat of Islam here in America and, and the, The. The desire as, as a follower of Jesus Christ and in my charge to you as well, is to reject. Reject it. We reject it. We rebuke it in the name of Jesus that this is a Christian nation. It will continue to be a Christian nation until Christ returns. Over my dead body, right? Or over my dead body. And, and, and if more Christians had that boldness and that faith, I believe we will be able to pass on the ability for our kids to continue to worship and to continue to live the extravagant, abundant lives not only here on earth, but ultimately that abundant entrance into heaven. So that being said, guys, I love y'. All. I'm not gonna go the full hour today. I still went even a little bit longer than I. Than I'd expected. But again, that's my commission to you. Occupy until he comes. We'll see you guys on next week's episode.
