After feeding the 5,000, Jesus tells the disciples to gather leftovers. John 6:12 shows God wastes nothing and expects careful stewardship. Twelve baskets remained, one for each disciple, a detail that suggests divine care even in the remnants.

I love this. Verse 12: When they had all had enough to eat, he said to the disciples, gather the pieces that are left over. This is an example of stewardship. Like, God is not wasteful. All the remnants, the breadcrumbs, he's like, gather it. And what I think is kind of funny about this too, this is why I do know God just has a sense of humor, or I believe he does, is 12 basketfuls, right? 12 disciples. You know, each one of them is walking away with a basketful like, what the dirt just happened here? Right? That had to be the reason. Yeah. They get their own personal Happy Meal. Exactly, exactly. But I think that's just a principle of management, of actual stewardship, that God cares about what's left over and that nothing be wasted with what he's actually given us to steward.
