Short transcript excerpt of a conversation (uploaded by Rylee Meek) arguing that Christian discipleship necessarily includes involvement in public life and politics, and that Christians are called to do good works as ambassadors for Christ. The speaker invites listeners to join a movement of becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.
If you actually. If you actually read it for yourself, if you study.
It, you understand.
That to be a Christian means to be involved with politics. No question about it. We are to be involved in the public square. We are to help make decisions.
If not, what's the point? If the point of this life is salvation? If that's the point, he would take us out like that. Now, the point is that we were created to do good works. The good works that we do aren't necessarily for God. The good works that we do are for man. Right? Because we've now transformed ourselves into a vessel to an ambassador. An ambassador for Christ to actually do those good works. Because he wants to use us.
I invite you to join the movement.
Not the movement of Turning Point, but.
The movement of becoming a disciple for Jesus Christ. That's what this life is about.
