Warning: The Cost of Silence As a Christian

A conversational livestream (Rylee Meek with guest Christian) arguing that Christians who remain silent about moral and cultural decline bear moral responsibility; they cite Ezekiel (watchmen), Acts 20, Romans 1, James, Proverbs and biblical exemplars (Esther, Elijah, John the Baptist, Paul) to show Scripture calls for public boldness, reproving sin, and active discipleship rather than passive, seeker-friendly comfort. The hosts urge listeners to pursue boldness, engage civic institutions, and prioritize obedience to Christ over pleasing people.

Hope Dealer Christian.
Hope Dealer Christian. Yeah, check it on out.
Yes. Not only my name, but my, my religious affiliation, I guess.
I don't know. International Hope Dealer. Yeah, yeah, yes. Used to deal other things back in the day, didn't you?
I did, I did. You know my atheist mother, Nami Christian. Isn't that interesting?
Very prophetic she was.
Yeah, it was. Who would have thunk it?
This guy can use anybody, man. Yeah, he's a donkey.
Are you comparing my mom to a donkey?
No.
It sounds like. It sounds like you are. God rest her soul. All right. It's not the first time this week. What do you mean mentioned something? Well, you started making a joke about my mother, I think, and then I.
Said, okay, your mama joke.
No, you said something when we're at dinner the other night. I said, are you talking about my dead mother right now? But God rest her soul, she didn't die an atheist. She died a spirit filled believer of Jesus Christ a couple years ago.
Yeah, Hope, Hope Dealing.
Yep.
Yes. Love it, man.
Amen.
Love it. Well, welcome to the show, guys. Welcome in the chat. Love having you guys here live every Friday, man. I used to say Mondays were my favorite day of the week, but maybe Fridays are now.
Yeah, I don't know. I enjoy it. Yeah, we get to go together.
It is, it always is good to be in the same room as you. Oh, gotta suck up to you now. Apparently I've been mocking your mama.
Even did a little bit the way you said that right there. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay.
We'll see how this episode goes. We got an hour here to slap some slaps sense into you. Oh, anyways guys, welcome, welcome, welcome. We have a fun topic we're going to dive into today. 1.
Is it fun?
I think it's fun, man. This, this stuff gets me fired up and I think it gets our, our listeners fired up as well.
Speaking of the listeners and viewers, why doesn't everybody put where you're from in the chat? Yeah. All right. More of you have been actually coming on to the Wednesday morning Bible studies and it's pretty cool. We have people from all throughout the country that join us on Wednesday mornings and it's always a cool, it's always cool to see where you're from.
Yes, yes, as always, we're going to just give that a shameless plug. Kingscouncilebiblestudy.com every Wednesday morning, 7:00 clock Central Standard Time. If you want to hop on for prayer, hop on a little early. 6:30 Central Standard Time. You're almost running out of time for prayer though. Yeah. You got so many prayer requests, it's like you don't even get through them all. Yeah, right. Yeah, but that's good, dude.
That's all right. They don't need to be long winded prayers.
None of them do.
Sometimes it's about 20 minutes of prayer requests and 10 minutes of really seeking God.
Yes, yes. But the rest of the show or the rest of the show, the, the Bible study is really epic. Just great time to dive into the word. Great time for questions and just participation. So join us kingscouncilbiblestudy.com every Wednesday morning. So that being said, we are going to dive into. I think it's a fun topic. Over the past, I mean, couple months, I think it's been a hot topic in, you know, just what's been happening in culture in America. We obviously follow a lot of pastors, church leaders that are, I think being very.
Bold.
Right as. As they should be. And we're going to absolutely back that up with some scripture today. And, and then also there's been a lot of like weak pastors, I'm just going to call it what it is that have been, you know, not willing or. And this isn't just. Hasn't just happened. This has been happening with what I really think of just was like a really seeker friendly movement for the past few decades in the church. And I think it's, it's grown a very weak body of believers. But those that are, that are bold and man, it just is bringing to my mind I forget I'm good at remembering things but not necessarily exactly where they came from. But I mentioned this to you a few days ago about division and Paul just saying that there should be division to prove the genuine ones. Do you remember where that was?
Not exactly. When we spend the hours of preparation for this.
I know. And then this just pops.
These verses don't come to mind. Then.
Yes, I'm gonna look it up. You want to talk more right now while I look this up?
Sure. Well, coming off the heels of last week when we're really diving into here I am right, there's consequence if we don't raise our hands, if we don't speak up, if we don't take bold positions in our stance on truth. And that's really what it is at the end of the day. And there's so much Debate about politics from the pulpit. But when you look at all these political issues that are being talked about, they're mostly moral issues that are covered from Genesis and Revelation. So they're. They're not in my. You know. Yeah, they're political topics, and it's what candidates will. Will talk about will be their platforms. However, if you have the truth of scripture and, you know, what the Bible says about it, then that should be pretty. Pretty simple for somebody to decide which way they're going to vote. Right. It's not about voting for a specific candidate or party. It's about what they represent, what they're going to bring to the table, what their policies will be and us as a church. A couple weeks ago, Rob McCoy, he spoke at Russell Johnson. Yeah. Russell Johnson's church up in Washington.
Pursuit. Yeah, Pursuit Northwest.
Yeah. And he talked about Calvary Chapel, which. His church is a Calvary chapel. And he talks about Chuck Smith, the Jesus revolution in the 70s, all these hippies getting saved, and this revival on the west coast that spread throughout. There's, I mean, hundreds, if not thousands of Calvary chapels, not just in America, but throughout the world now. But when you look at the state of California and how many Calvary chapels there were, and he kind of. I know, you know, Chuck Smith has been dead a number of years, and I. I know he honors him and respects him, but what Chuck's policy was, hey, let's just preach the gospel, get people saved. And I didn't know this, but apparently his stance was not really to get involved with politics. But when you look at the amount of Calvary chapels, if everybody's being fed the word, but ultimately your state's fallen into the state of decay and despair, then who's supposed to stand up? If we, the church, are the ones who actually have the truth, we know the truth. Why aren't we living the truth? Yes. Why aren't we affecting the culture rather than the culture affecting us?
Yes, absolutely. And I think that's a lot of it has to do. You can know the Word. Right. Which at Calvary Chapel, I'm a huge fan of. Right.
Yeah.
I love, you know, expository teaching and just getting into the word of God, but at some point, you have to do the word of God.
Yeah.
Right. And it's. It's. And I think if. If we come to this realization in our faith, it's like, yes, I can know something. It's one thing to know something, it's another thing to actually put it into practice. Right. There's the Accumulation of truth and really the application of truth. Right. Which I think is really more of the wisdom that we develop from reading the Bible. But we have to put this into practice. Right? And I don't understand how any pastor couldn't read the Bible. Not just pastor, but. But any believer can read the Bible and understand that or come to the conclusion that we shouldn't be involved with the affairs of our city. Right. And to be in the public square and to. I mean, this is what over and over and over and over again, Scripture represents. And for them just to not be involved with those things, I think is a complete failure. Right. And back to what was mentioned earlier, that verse specifically, it was at first Corinthians 11:19 says, and this is Paul obviously writing to the church in Corinth, which is a complete freaking mess, not that far off from what's going on in America today. Right. And he says that there must be factions among you. And this is this translation I just pulled up. But other translations will say divisions. So there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. And I thought this was. I mean, this was like. Hit me when I first read this. It's like, man, because we talk a lot or even there's even talk about just divisions amongst the church. And you know, I don't like that. Right, we don't like that. But the reality is, I mean, Paul is saying that there has to be, because it's going to prove who are the genuine ones. Genuine ones. And it's like those that are. It's almost just like a sifting of the sand, right? Or it's just like this, this. I don't want to say pruning, but this funneling of just like, man, these are the ones that are. That are willing to be bold, that are willing to speak truth. And yes, you can be a baby Christian, because I don't think. I don't. I don't think most of this has to do with salvation at all. I definitely do think it has to do with rewards in heaven and those that are willing to. Because. And I know we talk a lot about this, but it's just like salvation is just the beginning if you've received Christ as Lord and savior of your life. Now it's like we've entered the battleground, right? And now we should be the boldest ones out there. We should be preaching the gospel, most definitely. But we're called to make disciples, teaching them to obey what the word of God says. Yeah, right. And I think that's. That's one. A component that's obviously forgotten a lot. It's like, no, you have to teach them to obey what the word of God says. And what does the word God say to do? Again, a lot of it is like, this is. We should be speaking in the public squares. We should be talking about these things. We should be caring for the welfare of our cities. Uh, and. And if you think that's politics and that's. Then you don't want to do that, then it's telling me that you don't want to do the Bible. Right, Right. Which is like that. That's ain't. That's not what this is. Right. Life is not. We've been given this. This short little moment of time here on this Earth, and we should. We're called to take territory. The original commandment to. To be fruitful, to multiply, to have dominion. Bring the kingdom culture here. That should impact the world's culture, the American culture, because we are his ambassadors. Right. And that should be the flag that we carry. And even hear a lot about just Christian nationalists. I know I did a solo episode on this a while back. It's like, yes, I am a Christian. Yes, I love my nation. I don't love my nation more than my heavenly citizenship in the kingdom of heaven. Right, Right. But I. I care for my nation and I want my kids. Kids to have the ability to live in a nation that still has freedom of religion. Right. And. And it's like not freedom from religion. Right. Freedom of religion. Like, you could still choose a different one. But the unfortunate matter is a lot of these other ones, we'll just take the Islamic faith. Like, their religion is not separation of church and state. Right. Their religion is church. Church instinct.
Yeah.
Right. Like, they believe it should be a government ruling matter. And if you don't, like you, you could be put to death for that. Right. That's. I don't. I'm not for that at all, to be crystal clear, but I am for the freedom of religion. And the beautiful thing about Christianity is if you're abiding by scripture, it's like, yes, you can still choose to do those things and you are going to reap those rewards. Or you can choose Christ. Right. And this is why it's just such an. I mean, even atheists out there will say that they would rather live in a nation with a biblical worldview than any other nation on planet Earth. They don't even believe in God. But they do know that Christians, the bold ones Right. The ones willing to actually stand up for truth and fight for truth so we can continue to live these lifestyles. These are the nations that even atheists want to live in. They just don't want to be obedient to Christ. Right, right. It's like, it's so moronic to me, but. But it is. I mean, that should be evident right there that we need to be the loudest voices. Right? We need to be the. The ones that are going to city council meetings, going to our school board meetings, going running for mayor, running for office, because we hold a biblical worldview and we see life through that lens, and ultimately they're going to fight for those things.
Yeah, right.
I'll get off my tangent on this.
But do you see politics in your future?
I don't know, dude. I never, never, ever, ever have I thought about that, but I don't know.
What if I framed it like this? Do you see boldly preaching truth in a public exhibition?
100%. 100%. Yeah, absolutely.
So I think you can't nix politics then.
Absolutely. Yeah. Because I'm going to be bold. And if nobody listens, I don't care. I'm going to be obedient to what I. What God has for me and what the word of God tells me to do, because that's. That's all I'm serving. Right. It's an audience of one. And I think if most. If Christians would understand that, they wouldn't have the fear of man. Right? You can have the fear of man, the fear of the Lord. You can't have both. And that's just the reality. And too many Christians, too many, even people in leadership roles have the fear of man. Right? And. And they're, they're concerned even about losing parishioners or losing their congregants. And it's like, I don't even care. I love Rob McCoy says this a lot. He's like, I've done a job at, you know, preaching my congregation down to about 300.
Yeah.
It's like, that's fine because that's who I want to run with.
Yeah, right.
And that's. And I mean, I'll even say this, this is something that Ash and I have. Have gone through in the past, you know, couple months, obviously, what went down with Charlie Kirk. And we were attending a church here in Minnesota that we just. There was not a whole lot said. And so, you know, Ash is like, I'm out. And, you know, I wanted to, to see this through appropriately. And so I had to come conversation with the pastor there. And we're buds. We're still our buds, if he ever even listens to this. But, you know, his view was that Charlie was murdered solely because of politics. And before I even got the sentence out, I interrupted him and said, I wholeheartedly disagree. And so we at least knew where we stood when we were having. And we had a very, very good conversation. But at the end of it, it was pretty much that we. We weren't on the same page. And I think he is very. A wise individual and is doing what he thinks, what he's convicted to do best in that congregation. But it's not who I want to run with, right? Like, I'm not here. I'm not attending church. I want to participate and I want to be given. Like, I want to be challenged. I want to. I want to, you know, make a difference. I want to be impactful. I want to leave a legacy for my children's children again so they can continue to have a quality of life here in America. And those that are silent and those that are not willing to call things what they are, I think are, you know, they're gonna do life as they feel they're convicted to. But I think even. Even a lot of you listeners on this right now, it's like, no, God's God has more for you. And why you're probably even attracted to listening and being a part of what our discussions are and what know, we are believing God has for the King's Council here is we believe there's more, right? And. And it's. This life is not about us. It ain't about me. It isn't about my. Even my. My family, right? It's about us having complete, complete submission to God and what does he want, right? And. And ultimately, until he returns, we are. We are told to occupy, right? To. To conduct business, to. To do his will here on this earth. We pray every day like, Lord, your kingdom come, your will be done on here, right on in earth, on earth as it is in heaven. Like, this is something that we have to start to walk out. Not just, you know, a lot of churches might just pray that prayer, but there's never any application to it at all, right? And kingdom, it's. It's his rule and reign here on this earth right now, right? That's. That's the commission that we've been given. And I think we need to be more bold with. With standing up for that and be willing to have hard conversations with people. And to be clear, Charlie was not Murdered for politics. He was murdered because he spoke the truth about abortion. He spoke the truth about men being men, women being women. He wasn't murdered because he suggested different taxation or different minuscule things. He was murdered because he spoke truth and he spoke it boldly. He invited great conversation. And I think, I mean, if you look at every great leader in the Bible, where did they go to preach? The public square. Right. They weren't held up in their church building, which, what, we've made it here in America? No. They went to the people and they spoke truth. And it wasn't like, you're going to live this amazing life if you give your life to Christ and it's going to be easy. No, it's like you need to repent because you are sinful. And those that had ears to hear, heard, and those that didn't went on and did what they wanted. Fair enough. Right. I know that God's word will not return void. Therefore, if we speak God's word, he's going to use it.
Right.
It could be a seed that's planted. It could be a radical moment for that person's life, could be encouragement for another believer that's maybe not as bold, but God's going to use it because his word never returns void.
Yeah. Nowhere else. They preached right there in front of the political leaders.
Yes, they did.
Look at Elijah, Esther, Paul.
Right. Beheaded.
Yeah.
Speaking to Herod. Right. Who is who?
That was John the Baptist.
John the Baptist. Sorry.
Yeah.
Yes.
Yeah, sorry. Come on Wednesday morning.
I know, right?
No, but they, they went to those in authority, those who had the, the rule and authority to make decisions that shaped the culture.
Yes.
And when the culture was in a. Just a moral decay or decline. Well, if you get to the top, you. You preach the truth to them. And then what happens? And then all of a sudden, policies change. Right. And think about some of these pastors. Right. It's already happening now. But what if one of these pastors who just refuses to talk politics and doesn't want to acknowledge Charlie Kirk, anything like that. I'm just going to preach the message and lead people to salvation. That's great, but what happens if maybe not one of your kids, but maybe it's one of your grandkids, they're in school and, you know, everybody else is talking about how. How cool it is to be a furry or. Or whatever gets attention.
Right.
I'm a boy, but, you know, I'm gonna. I want to have she, her pronouns, stuff like that. And all of a sudden that, that, that School, because of law, they, they're not going to tell you. They don't have to tell you. And they start this transitioning process all behind the backs of the parents. And when that person, hopefully, God willing, comes to an aha moment at some point, like, what the heck was I doing to myself? I was just a kid. Clearly I didn't have the, the knowledge or the mental capacities to make a decision like that. Where, where were you to fight for me?
Yep.
Right?
Yep.
And what are, what are not just pastors, but anybody who, who calls Christ their, their Lord and Savior. Where, where was the church? Where, where were our voices? Where are we in the fight? Because if we just want to, like, tuck behind a corner and, you know, hide in a prayer closet and, you know, just hoard Jesus for yourself and make sure you're, you're a good devout Christian, it's like, what about the people around you? And we, we have a number of scriptures that we're going to reference today that we'll talk about just how much the blood is going to be in the hands of somebody who doesn't speak up.
Yes. Which just brings it back to the two greatest commandments. Right. Love the Lord your God with heart, soul, mind and strength. If you're loving the Lord your God in your prayer closet, as you mentioned, okay, that's great. But are you loving your neighbor? And how do we best love our neighbor? It's like meet them where they, where they're, where they're at. Right. And you got to be able to come to them and be able to help to fulfill those needs. Yeah, Right. And, or maybe a lot of people don't even know what they need. Right. They think they know what they want. Right. But what they need is at the core of it. They need Jesus. Right. In all aspects. Second to that, I would say they need the, the moral compass of what the Bible and Jesus actually represent. And this is, I mean, a whole nother topic. We should dive into this another time. It's just the idea of, you know, we do live in a nation where we do have laws that are, that kind of soften the, the soil. Right. That, that make people more receptive to the gospel because we actually do have laws, not all of them being upheld, but there's like a moral compass, at least for now. Right. Or it's hopefully getting better with changes and things that are taking place that, that it's more, definitely more of a softening for people to receive Christ. Where if you, if you think, if you go to other nations like over in the UK and in Russia, and it's like, I mean, they're just. People are cold over there. Right. And to evangelize.
There you go.
To evangelize over there is like, Is hard. Right. Because there's not, like, there's not a hope that people have in. And, And I think a lot of it has to do with just like, is it fertile ground?
Yeah.
Right. And we should talk about that on a future episode. But, yeah, that'll.
Cause it's interesting to look at it from both perspectives. If somebody is in a country where they don't have a lot of rights, you know, I could, I could probably argue it will be fun to talk about, like, where their heart is. If they have more of a desperate heart, you know, to get out of the situation they're. They're in, maybe a more desperate heart for Jesus. Because I, I could probably make an argument. I don't know if it would be a winning one or not sure that it could be easier to minister to them because they, they have more of a desperation and a hunger. They. They don't know it's Jesus yet. But to get out of the situation they're in. Whereas here in America, where we are so comfortable for the most part.
Yeah, right. Yeah. So it's like that neutrality of, you know, I'm. I'm doing okay here. Yeah, right. Versus over there. People are completely desperate. Right. And like, poor is poor, rich is rich over there. And there's not like most. If you live in America, you already in the. No matter what your income level, you're already in like, the top 1% of the entire world. Yeah, right. And so I could see that. But that would be fun. Well, let's do a little debate on that.
Yep.
And you guys can be the judge.
Yeah. I don't know which side to take yet. Right. Yeah, it's a good.
I'll pick one side, you pick one, and then we'll. We'll come to the conclusion at the end. But. Yeah, but that really is just kind of the topic of, I think, like, theonomy would be, like, what that would consist of, which is what I've really been wanting to dive into anyways.
But yeah. Anyways, share what that is for 99% of people. I have no idea what word you.
Just said, the anomy, which I don't know anything about this yet. We have a good friend that has done a lot more digging into it, but it is just that, like, yes, we are. The belief is just like the laws of this that we should live by, are still in alignment. Should still be in alignment with the Bible. Right. And it's not. Yeah. I'm going to do a very bad job. Just Google it. I'm just going to say that kind.
Of like a monarchy with Jesus as the ruler.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Which I think I'm. I'm definitely in alignment with that.
Yeah. No monarchy is really good unless Jesus is.
Exactly. Yeah. And. And I think it's hard for Americans to really even comprehend that because we're so. We have like a president that's voted in and, you know, it's like, different. But when you live in these other nations where there's, you know, actually kings.
Right.
Actually queens and things like that, it's like, easier to understand. Yeah. Because, I mean, some people are ruled by a wicked people. I mean, read the Bible and there's some righteous kings. Right. But, yeah, all that being said, we live here today and now. Right. And. And like, what's the impact that we can have in. On culture today and now? And I think the. The premise of what we're going to talk about today or for the rest of this is really just the fact that, you know, if. If you're remaining silent, if you are a believer and you're remaining silent, that you are really coming into agreement with the enemy. You are. You are consenting to these things actually taking place. Yeah. And I think we've got a few examples that we could even give. I mean, was it Eric Metaxas did this. The movie Bonhoeffer?
Yep.
If you haven't watched the movie Bonhoeffer, it's really great. Would definitely recommend that. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, which was. He was a pastor. Right. And ultimately he stood up for Christians. Right. Stood up for. For a lot that was going on throughout World War II. Got to think back to my, you know, I cheated all through history class. So.
Yeah. All those notes he took in history class, recall.
I know, right. But really against Nazi Germany and what they were doing over there. And a lot of the churches over there were just completely silent with. With what was taking place and within the church, but within culture. Right. And one by one, they were just getting taken out. And he was fighting for, you know, fighting against it, of course. And, you know, I think a lot of people were saved through that, but it's a great movie. I would just encourage people to go watch that thing.
Yeah. He said silence in the face of evil is evil itself.
Yes.
Which it is.
It really is.
Yeah. It really is the sin of omission. Right. James 4:17. If you know what is good and don't do it, then that's sin. That's the sin of omission. We know oftentimes the, the sins that were explicitly told not to commit. Right. But the sin of omission, that's a big one because it's simply us not doing what we're supposed to do. And us, as. I won't even say church, even though I'm meaning it as the church Body.
Yeah, right.
The body of Christ. Us, as followers of Christ, we're called to boldly proclaim. Last week we talked about it, where we're sent out to all types of people with a message empowered by the Spirit.
Yes.
This is our commission. We know the Great commission in Matthew 28, but that's like all four commissions that, that Jesus gave between his resurrection and his ascension into heaven. So if this is what we're called to do, if we're simply silent, that's sin. That's sin in itself.
Yeah. And even, even just amongst your friends and, you know, or people you'd call friends that you hang out with that may be leading, you know, a sinful lifestyle, we're just going to call it what it is. It's not that you can't hang out with them, but to be able to. To have those hard conversations because as you mentioned, like, if. If not that blood is on your hands. Right. And. And again, if. If you are. If Jesus truly is Lord, you're. And you love him and you love others as the second command. You know, the. The first or the two greatest commandments are love God, love your neighbor as yourself. It's like, all right, what's that?
Go ahead.
Okay. I thought you were gonna correct me or something.
No.
Like, what does it mean to really love? And that is oftentimes being able to, you know, call things as they are in a. In a loving manner, though. This is what we're called to do. I mean, we're called to be salt and light. Salt preserves kingdom culture, but light exposes darkness. And a lot of people just live in. In a manner that they might not even know they're. They're in these dark areas. Right. And having those conversations that, you know, it's not going to affect your relationship with them, but you want what's best for them. And again, for those who have ears to hear, they're going to hear it. If not, they at least know what your convictions are. And, you know, I've had these. And suddenly those people are not in my life anymore. Right. That's. And that's completely fine. Right. Because I do. Again, back to. I know God's word is not going to return void. But the responsibility in any conversation we have sales companies. Right. So this is what we. What we coach and train people on is how to communicate effectively. In any conversation, there's always the sender. Right. The one who's receiving the message and then the recipient. And our job is to speak in a way that they can actually receive and understand what is truly being said. And this is. I think this is why husband and wives fight so much. Right. It's because oftentimes we're speaking one language and our spouse is speaking the other, and it's like. It's just poor communication.
Right.
I think that's the reason. The number one reason for divorce. Right. A lot of polls will say that it's, you know, money is a big reason for divorce. Like. No, it's not. It's. It's how you communicated about it. Right, right. It doesn't have to be. You're. They're calling it something that it isn't. And it's really. If they would just communicate it appropriately about it, there wouldn't have been a problem.
Yeah.
Right. And I think that goes for most things in people's lives.
Yeah. It's always the longest sessions we have when we do the premarital counseling.
Yes.
And I. It's always communication. If you get communication down, you can do anything. Yeah.
Dude. Tower Babel.
Right.
They could literally. They were building a tower. Problem is they were doing it for. To make a name. A name for themselves.
Yeah.
Right. And that God confused their language. Right. Because it says that there was nothing they couldn't do. Right. Which is so wild to me.
Right, Right. If you have one mission, you're on one accord, and you're communicating well together, there's nothing you can't do.
Yes.
Yeah.
And now we have all these different languages here. Thanks, Tower of Babel.
Right. Well, let's get into some of these verses. And. But even when you said, love Jesus, love your neighbor as yourself. Right. Your neighbor is anybody who's not you. Right. So it's not like your neighbor that your kids play Little league together, you invite them over for barbecues. The guy that you like, it's anybody who's not you. So that can include people you dislike. Right. We're called to share this message with everybody because whether you like them or dislike them now, once they come to Christ, that's going to be your brother or your sister and you're you're going to have a lot more in common than you realize when you have Jesus. Right?
It's true.
What do we have in common other than Jesus? And, you know, I'm tall, you're short, I'm handsome, you're terrible at basketball.
I'm good.
You're now. I am now. I am 44. All right, 44.
But anyhow, we have other things in common.
No, we do. Our propensity for rap lyrics, right?
Yeah.
Just. Yeah. Somebody may mention. Just the other day they referenced the episode. It's probably a year or two ago now, when you thought I was talking about. When I was talking about Cream. You know, the Wu Tang Clan song, Cash Rules Everything Around Me. You thought Cream was the name of a rapper? Yeah, I never was, like, I never heard of him.
I didn't realize it was the acronym.
Yeah.
Cash rules everything around me. Yeah.
Christ rules everything around me.
Come on.
Yeah, Come on, let's go.
So we have that in common.
The cost of silence.
Yes.
Ezekiel talks about the watchmen, right. And their roles. And with Ezekiel, chapter three, verse 18, it says, when I say to the wicked, you shall surely die. Right? So if God is looking down on the people and is saying, you're going to die in these sins, and you give him no warning, telling Ezekiel this, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but the blood I will require at your hand. So it's like, oh, wait a second. If God is telling us to go and share this message with somebody, which is really a message to save their soul from eternal damnation, and I don't, then the blood will be on my hand. Yeah. It's like, wait. Wait a second. Well, that's Ezekiel. That's Old Testament. Well, how about this? Paul comes along when he's going through Macedonia and Greece in Acts 20, verses 26 through 27, Paul says, Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men, for I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. So he's. He's making reference to this. He's saying, wait a second. Even now, like, post crucifixion?
Yep.
Right. Like A.D. we're not B.C. anymore. We're A.D. he's saying, blood's not going to be on my hands because I declare to you the whole council of Scripture. And I think when we go through the whole council of Scripture, we've talked about this in the past, where everything in Scripture is either prescriptive or descriptive, Right. When it Says, like one man and one wife. It forms a marriage. They come together, one flesh. Right. Yeah, that. That's prescriptive.
Yep.
Descriptive would be Solomon and his 700 wives and 300 concubines. Right. Obviously, it's in the Bible, but that doesn't mean God's saying to do that. It's just describing what Solomon did and when he went off the. The deep end for a bit. But I think what is prescriptive and it doesn't tell us explicitly when your culture is overtaken by chaos and misinformation and kids are. Are being just abused mentally and they're being brainwashed into thinking they're something that they're not. Go to your local school board meeting. Go run for mayor. Even though the Bible doesn't explicitly prescribe that. What we find in Scripture, when we see those instances of. In Elijah, of John the Baptist speaking up to Herod, like you mentioned of Queen Esther, of Paul, where he was like, he got a prophetic word that if he made his way all the way to Rome, he would be bound. Right. He knew that. So everybody's like, no, that means don't do it. He said, no, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna get the Caesar. I'm gonna get to the top dog, and I want to share the gospel with him. I'm going to share the entire council of Scripture. I'm going to reveal truth to him. Because if. If he could get saved, then guess what? There's a whole better chance everybody else gets saved. Yep. At least they're not gonna. Just when it's legal. Not just legal, but when it's. Well, first sin is tolerated. Right. And then, you know, then you see compromise amongst Christians. It's like, oh, we could tolerate that. And then all of a sudden, it goes from tolerating something to celebrating that sin. And we've seen it just over the past gosh, decade, maybe when it comes to homosexuality, transgenderism. Right. Like, I remember, I'm 44. When I was a kid there, there was kids who had, like, gay tendencies, but they. They weren't celebrated and glorified. Right. And then it was really between my oldest son, Isaiah, who's 28, about to be 29, and my daughter Puka, who's 25. When. When she was coming through high school was like, all of a sudden we saw the shift where it's like, the more flamboyant you acted, even guys who are like athletes at the high school, all of a sudden you come in wearing, like, mascara. You're the talk of everybody. You're the most popular kid.
Right.
And now, well, these kids are now being celebrated in that sin. And then now it's like, I, I would refuse. My son Ezra will never go to a public school.
Right.
And I don't care what state you're in, you don't want to leave our kids upbringing in the hands of the state by any means, in any state in this country where we're at in 2025. But you start by tolerating it. It's like, oh, just let them be happy. Just let them do what they want to do. Now all of a sudden, it celebrated and glorified. And now the culture has shifted where now all these sheep that are being led astray, they're actually stumbling to the slaughterhouse, as the Proverbs says. If we just allow that to happen, we're supposed to do that for what? Because if we call it out, we're gonna. We're gonna be called bigots or homophobes or something like that. It's like, no, wait a second. It doesn't matter what your sin is. If that's your sin, that's it. If it's another sin, we'll call that out too. But if you're just celebrating your sin and you're walking in that sin, you're practicing that sin, that's your lifestyle, your destination is the same. Doesn't matter what the sin is. And for us as a church not to speak up, if we speak up in individual conversations, that's great, that's a start. But if we could actually be bold enough as pastors from pulpits to just talk on these issues, right?
Yep.
And maybe even run for office. Whatever it may be, if it's not us as the church to boldly speak truth. Think of those disciples we talked about a few weeks back in Acts 4. It's illegal to share, to mention the name Jesus. John and Peter were just arrested. Yeah. What do they do? They pray. Not for protection, they don't say. All right, well, help us. We know we've been called to do. We've been empowered by the Spirit now, but what are we going to pray for? No, we're going to pray for boldness. Because we're going to preach the truth at any cost. And guess what? It could be. We could be fearful at times, right? We can. And fear is nothing but a lie from the enemy. Yes, that's it.
Yeah.
But we fall into it. At times we're anxious about something, but when we know who our God is and we are truly walking in the Spirit. We're empowered by the Spirit. There's nothing. It's like, okay, if I go preach Jesus and you lock me up, lock me up if I preach Jesus and you know, yep, that's it. But I'm not going to pray that I don't get locked up because that's not God's will. We talked about alignment last week.
Yeah.
It's. To be in alignment with heaven is to go boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to God, lead others out of the muck and mire of the world and bring them out into this new light and allow them to, to be a new. Not allow them, but lead them into being at this new creation. Who now Christ is their identity. That. That's our mission. And whatever the consequences are, then we're gonna have to deal with those consequences. However, I'm not going to sit back because I'm afraid of those consequences when this is what God's saying to do.
Yeah, that's, that's really good, man. I think as the church, we want to be comforting. Yeah. But we also need to be confronting. Right. And so if, if, if we're just trying to comfort people in their sin and not confront the sin itself, what are we actually doing? Especially if you are. And again, this isn't just the church building or church you attend. This is the body of Christ, the church itself. Right. But especially if you're, I mean, second Timothy. This is Paul speaking to Timothy. He says, preach the word. He's given Timothy instruction. Preach the word, Be ready in season and out of season. But also it says to reprove, rebuke and exhort. Right. And if you're only trying to just comfort people in their sin, you're not actually challenging them or allowing them to grow and mature as a believer. Right. Whether they're, they are a believer or they're not a believer. If they're not a believer, then obviously I think there has to be the real conversation of what sin is. Right. And the need for a Savior. Because if people don't know why they even need a Savior, then they don't care. Right. And so, and this is, I love that even says here is that you have to be ready in season and out of season. Right. And it's like, we should be ready, we should be available to, to be used in any of these situations, but especially as a, as a church leader or a pastor. You know, I think we talked about this last week, too. It's just that we're called to make disciples. Right. Teaching them to obey what the word of God tells us to do. And if you're, if you're just doing a seeker, send seeker friendly service, cotton candy, message, they're, I mean you're not doing your job, right? Your job is to equip the saints. Yeah, right. And to grow them up so that they can go out. Right. If, if you're trying, if you're just trying to gather your sheep so you can get more tithe or you know, pay your church building budget. Get it? You're in the wrong profession. Yeah, right. It's like you are, it's, it's fear of man, not fear of the Lord. And I think we've lost maybe that concept of, of what, what the point of the church is. It's to equip the saints. Who are the saints? Believers in Christ. Right. It's like every one of you that, that, that declares Jesus as Lord. Listening to this, you are a saint. Right. It's like wild to, to think about that. And your job is your job specifically. This isn't the pastor's job to, to make disciples. This is the great commission to all believers is to go make disciples. Right. And we can, we can fellowship within the church. Right. We could, we can go there, but oftentimes it, we're not, oftentimes we're going there for comfort when we really need to be confronted. Yeah. And we really need to be, you know, rebuked at times. Right. Every letter that Paul wrote was to a church that was a lot of rebuking. Like, what are you doing? Get back on track. Come on, get back on track. Right? Finish, finish. Well, endure. And we have to remind ourselves that at times where it's like we get this narrow minded thought of, like this, this life is about me and what I can do and why has it got to be hard? Life's hard. Yeah, right. And we are called to do hard things. And following Christ is hard. That's why it says, count the cost, man. Count it. Yeah, right. If you're not willing to, to pick up the cross daily, that means die to yourself. Right? Dying to my flesh. I'm gonna look to Christ in this. If I'm not willing to do that, then don't even go to church.
Don't, don't.
I mean, what are you doing? Go do whatever you want because you're going to end up in the same place anyways. That may be a little rough, but that's what it is. And you're playing Christianity because Jesus is not Lord. Of your life. And if you want to commit to this life, man, it's freaking awesome. It's freaking epic. Right? Because I know that my reward isn't here on this earth. It is in the eternal. And whenever I get to. To stand before him, like, I want to come to him with what I did. Right. It's.
It's.
It's not about, am I getting in or out? It's. It's about what did I do with what he gave me while I was here? Was that faithful? Yeah.
Amen. You mentioned we're called to confront, not comfort. Lucy has two C words that she lives by, and I've seen her act this out. She'll always say, I'll show compassion, but I'll never compromise.
It's good. Yeah.
And that's what we're called to do, that. That's how we love our neighborhood. We are to have compassion. Because even though somebody may be caught up in sin, that to us is like, I don't. I would never. I can't understand that one. But it's like they're still lost. Right. Until you have Jesus, you're lost. You're blind.
Yep.
You're dead in your sin, essentially. So no matter what the sin, I'm not going to justify that. This person's sin is more tolerable than another, because.
Right.
What? They're. They're deceived.
Right.
They're deceived, plain and simple. So I'm gonna have compassion for that person. Because we all once were in that place where we were deceived and we weren't. None of us came out of the womb speaking in tongues. Right. We all had that moment where we said yes to the Lord.
Yep.
And then to not compromise, we can't compromise. And part of that is like that confront. Right. I'm gonna. I'm never gonna compromise, so. Because I don't want the blood to be on my hands if somebody just is leading this lifestyle. I mean, it says in James, I got it somewhere on here, but it's the last verse in James. We got to condense these notes sometimes. Where's that? My notes up here. I should just Google it. That'll be quicker. Right?
Right. While you're looking that up. Galatians 1:10. This just hit me, man. Like, says, if I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ if I were still trying to please man. And how many of us. I mean, that's just conviction in my heart. Like, man, if I'm trying to please man, Am I a servant of Christ? Like who. Who am I serving in each situation that I'm in?
How many pastors are pleasing man by not talking politics?
Yep.
Because. Oh, I know there's some liberals here, so I don't. You know, I'm a conservative, but there are some liberals. I don't want to offend them. So who are you pleasing?
Who are you pleasing? Right.
Wow.
Yeah. That's so good. Which just brings back to the first Corinthians verse that we talked about earlier. It's like, there has to be division amongst you to know who the genuine ones are.
Yeah. Amen. That verse in James, chapter five, the last two verses of the book, says, brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
Wow, that.
That's. That's heavy right there. Yeah, that is heavy. So if somebody's wandering from the truth, if I know the truth, you know the truth. If no matter you could have been saved yesterday, you know the truth because you said yes to Jesus. Right. So. So you know the truth now, even if you don't know the whole Bible or council of scripture, but your eyes have now been. I almost said, awoken, opened, awakened. Oh, yeah, one of. One of those two was. Yeah. So if I know the truth, I see somebody else who's wandering from the truth, and I don't pull them back, know that I'm just letting them go to the slaughter like. Like a sheep gone astray to the slaughter. And.
Yeah, that's good, man. And that's. That's been heavy on my heart, too. It's like I feel like, how many pastors, man, how many of them are literally holding people's hand straight to hell?
Yeah. Well, listen to this person.
So gnarly to think about, right?
And Proverbs 24:11 12 says, Deliver those who are drawn toward death and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, surely we did not know this, does he not who weighs the hearts consider it? So, like, we're instructed to deliver those who are drawn towards death. And that's what sin is. We're being drawn towards death. We don't see it like that when we're having fun in our. In our party and lifestyle or whatever it may be, if we're not drawn towards Jesus, we're being drawn towards death. So it's funny, that verse is right next to that James verse. That I couldn't find 10 seconds ago.
Back to even discipleship. This just brings to mind to me. It's like, whether you're being discipled or not, you're being discipled, right? And whatever. Because we think discipleship is like a Christian term and it should be. But if you're, you know, kids are going to public school, right? They're being discipled. Yeah, right. Are they being discipled by the world? If they're, you know, going on and playing video games for four hours every night, are they being discipled by those people? If they're, you know, their football coach, a basketball coach, whoever it is, you're being discipled in some fashion. The question is, do you want the world to disciple them or do you want the believers to disciple them? Yeah, right. Because that's. I'm a firm believer. We are either growing or we are dying in. In any area of life, right? This idea of just being like, you know, times here, it's like, I just feel like I'm. I'm plateauing or I'm, you know, I'm in a tough season. It's like, well, you're dying, bro. Like, you are dying. And this is this mindset that we have to take on of. Like, am I going to have a growth mindset, right? And even in the King's Council over the past few years, it's like, this is something we've. We've really stood on. It's like, we want to be surrounded with, like, mindset people. Which is another word that I know is not a real word.
Um, because, you know, this one, I.
Do know that that's not a real word, but if I could write that in the dictionary, that would be a word. Because it. I don't think it's helpful to be around people always that are of the same mindset, right? It's like, oh, we'll just take politics because it's, you know, an easy topic. It's like we surround ourselves with those that only think this way. It's like we're not growing in any area. Like, we're. We're just like, you know, saying, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Attaboy, right? It's like, you're not growing, right? I would argue that you're. You're probably even dying in those situations. But I want to be surrounding myself with, like, mindsetted people, right? So we don't have to agree upon everything. Like, even this concept that we were just talking about in theonomy, right? It's like, we might not agree on what's, what's the most fertile soil to, to, you know, evangelize on? But, but either way, we're growth minded, right? Like we are here to grow together until the day we die. I mean, the brain, believe it or not, is the only organ in the body that can actually continue to get better and better and better and better. Right. Science actually backs that up. But you see, people, the older they get, they decline because they don't use it. They're not continuing to be. They retire, they get on prescription medications, right? Which pharmaceutical is, you know, pit of.
There we go off YouTube, Jace. There we go. There we go.
They are the enemy, I promise you. So we're up. We're booted. But I'm gonna say it, I don't care because it is like, I mean, we should do a whole topic on that. We won't get video.
That'll be rumble only.
It'll be rumble only probably, but it's, it's. I forget where I was even going with that. Oh, just the fact of being growth minded, right. It's like we can continue to grow. Our brain is neuroplastic. We can develop neural pathways. Scripture even tells us like, this is how we are renewed. It's by that we have to be renewed by the transformation of our mind. Right. And it's like, how do I do that? Well, I read scripture, right. I, I actually pray. I don't just, I don't just ask for things, but I receive things, right. And this is just this, this discipleship life that we have to commit to as, as Christians. So. Yeah, I don't know where, where I was going with any of that, but.
No, that was a good, good rant. I don't say rant in a bad way. That was a good rant.
Yeah.
Transformed by the renewing of the mind. You said the other way. Renew by the transform. Both pretty much apply.
Yeah. Yes, yes. Because if, if even go, if you go back to that verse, specifically Romans 12:2, right. It says, do not be conformed to the patterns of this world. Right? Well, what does that mean? It's like do not think of the patterns of this world. Yeah, right. Don't, don't be doing those things. Don't be doing that, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Right? And so this is. If you're going to be silent about the things of this world, you're conforming to those things. You are, right? If you're just, you're going to be a passive Christian, which, which passive. The root meaning of that Means to suffer, which is just wild, like passive, anything.
I thought you were going to say the root is another P word. I'm going to say we're really off of YouTube.
No, I mean, yeah, I believe that. But, but it means to suffer. It's like if you are passive at anything that you do, you are just allowing suffering. Why would you do that? Live on purpose, Live with intention, Live with, with a desire for, for something more, something bigger than yourself. I think every human being on, on the planet has a desire, but this is a God given, like it's embedded on our hearts. Like we have a desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Well, here's the part. His name's Jesus Christ, right? And it's like if we, if we come into alignment with that, now all of a sudden, wow, there is a, there is a calling on my life, there is an assignment that he has for me and I start to actually walk in obedience. That leads to just deeper intim. That and that's just sanctification, right? That's this entire process that we get to go through and we have actual fulfillment, right? Like that is, is what this life. Again, your life is not about fulfillment. I want to be clear on that. But when you are seeking him first, you will start to walk in those things and you will be spiritually fed, right? I've, I've been there where it's like, man, I'm trying to get fulfillment in so many different things. And until I came into alignment with him and said, okay, God, break my heart for what breaks yours. Expose any areas in my life. Do whatever it takes. Dangerous freaking prayer. It is a dangerous prayer because my life was, it was hard. It was hard the past few years. Lots of ups and downs, lots of, you know, betrayal, financially, Peak of the mountain to the freaking pits, right? But where was I going to put my, my focus? Where was I going to like put my, was it in my capabilities or what I could do? Because that's what it always was, right? And I always experienced success in those areas. But when I was able to actually look to my source and not my resource in those situations, that's when all of a sudden I, I, it's just this freedom, I think is the right word for it. It's like I have freedom in Christ, right? Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And I think so many Christians are missing out on that because they're forgetting about who their source is and they're, they're relying on the resource far too often. Whether it's financially, whether it's emotionally, relationally. But when you, when you come back to like, God is my source and, and, and my identity is in Christ, nothing else, Nothing else matters. Right. I, I, and, and the fear of man. Right. Or, or trying to please man. And what we just mentioned in Galatians 1:10, it's like, no, I'm a servant of Christ first and foremost, and that ultimately is going to help me walk out the purposes and the intentions that he has for me on this earth. And that just comes back to obedience. Right. And who you're being discipled by back to. Are you going to conform to those patterns of the world? Are you going to be renewed, transformed by the renewing of your mind? And that only happens through continued discipleship.
Yeah, right. Think about disciples in biblical days. You know, Jesus had his 12 disciples. They called them Rabbi, those rabbis back in the day, they didn't just like preach the law and that's it. When you were a disciple of a rabbi, you shared their worldview. You shared, you know, like I do things sometimes where Lucy will say, oh, you look just like your father doing that. It would be the disciples doing things of their teacher, their rabbi, that disciple maker, because that they were that close. And you're not just teaching them a specific content. Like even now, we're not just teaching the Bible. Our, our role in making disciples is to do, just like they did back in the day, to teach you how to do life.
Yes.
Period.
Yes.
How to do life. So, and how to do life in the year 2025 in America, where what's evil is being called good. What's. What's good is being called evil. Right.
Yep.
We need to, we need to help everybody navigate this as leaders within the church.
Yes.
Paul, you got something?
Go. Nope, go ahead.
Paul kind of walks readers through this in Romans, the whole back end of Romans chapter one. And he really talks about, you cease when you see sin and just excuse goes down this like this river where all of a sudden you, it goes from just tolerating it, seeing it, tolerating it to applauding it and celebrating it. And it starts at really verse 21 in chapter one says that they knew God, but they refused to honor him. Right. Okay. So you see our culture today in 2025. And then in verse 25, it, it says they exchanged a truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the creat. So they knew God. Right. And I think there's a lot of people out there that would say that they know God or they acknowledge God. They just are choosing not to obey him. Right. And then they exchange truth for lies. Then they openly practice sin. Verse 28 says, God gave them over to a depraved mind so that they do what ought not to be done. When you decide I'm going to live this sinful lifestyle, God, we talked last week where God is seeking us, right? He. He. He wants our hearts, he wants our souls. But there's. There's a time and place where he kind of teaches us a lesson. And if you're a parent, especially with a teenager, sometimes you just say, okay, keep walking down that path. That path is going to kick you in the butt at some point or another. I just need you to see it for yourself because you're not receiving it from me. Then they excused and normalized the sin. Right. And we see that in culture today. And then ultimately it was celebrated. Verse 32 says, Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things, but also approve of those who practice them. So now it's celebrated.
Yeah. When I first read Romans 1, we've had lots of discussions about, can you lose your salvation? And to be clear, I don't think you can lose it. Like, oh, I just lost it. But you can absolutely walk away from it. Right. And this is such a clear.
Yeah. Relinquish it.
Yeah, yeah. It's like, I know truth, but I'm going to continue to do this, this, this and this, and justify it by whatever means you want to. It's like, dude, if you continue to do that and live those lifestyles, you're going to re. Those, you know, not rewards.
Yeah.
You're gonna reap what you're sowing.
Yeah. Paul's not just describing individuals here. He's describing cultures.
Yes.
Right. This is what it's about. It's not just one bad seed. It's about the culture. And when truth is suppressed, the, the, the culture, the society eventually crumbles because what happens? Morality is redefined, rebellion is normalized, and now the culture starts to celebrate what God condemns.
Yes, yes. So moral of this. I know we're. We're coming up to the end here. I think if the church remains silent, we lose our prophetic voice. Right. And it's like, we have to. We have to actually speak truth. Not. Please man, please God. Right? Like that's, that's it, right? God, I think I heard John Bevere say, say this once. It's like God's not going to love us any more or less on our obedience or anything like that, but he will be more pleased with us. Right. And think about even how you parent your kids. If you're a good parent. I can't imagine you could love your child any more or less. Right. But they can please you more. Right. And it's like, am I going to, you know, call sin what it is? Am I going to be able to continue to speak truth? Am I going to have boldness to declare, you know, who Jesus actually is? Right. And to pull people out. Right. I don't, I mean, I don't want to be. I want to be the guy like, literally tripping people up at the gates of hell, like, like pulling them back. Right. And I think that should be a desire for all of us.
Yeah.
Right. If we really love our neighbor.
Right.
And I mean, if we love God, that. That should just be like a, an overflow of loving our neighbor.
Yeah.
So.
Amen.
Yeah.
Yeah. When we, if we tolerate sin today, tomorrow will be affirmed and then soon after that, it'll be celebrated. Yeah. And that's where we're at now. And ultimately we'll see what happens. We know in the last days, there's going to be a great falling away. There's going to be a lot of deception, and not just deception that we see and we try to withstand. It's no deception where a lot of folks are going to get deceived. And we see this. When you, and I've said this before, if you see some, like, flaming liberal with the, you know, with the rings all over their face and the blue hair and all this, and they're just like, screaming like a crazy person. There's a part of my heart that breaks because they, they. I actually respect them in a sense that they're passionate about something. Enough to do that.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
It's like I, I wish. Give me 10 Christians that are passionate enough to, to go out and make this type of scene when they see something that's contrary to what they believe. Right. Of course what they believe is false and they're being deceived, but I do have a little bit of respect for those people. But my heart does break because again, doesn't matter what sin you're involved in. It doesn't matter what your worldview is. And I, I say this all the time. Like, I don't know where I will be ultimately if I, like, what would my thoughts be if I never got saved in 2011? What would I be thinking about all this, would I be calling Charlie Kirk a Nazi? Right, Right. I, I don't know because I, I was deceived then. And the. From 2011 till now, 14 years later, the way the culture is declined even in this last 14 years, I mean, the deception isn't going to just like plateau. It would ramp up. So how deceive would I be?
You know? Yeah. That's good.
You would hate me.
I would.
If you were like this.
You would. I would love you from a distance. Right, right, right. That being said, guys, our, our hope out of this is that it would instill in you a boldness. Right. And that is something that I think we need to pray for. Right. I mean, scripture gives us that as you know what they prayed for, it's like they wanted that boldness. Right. And I think if the body of believers started to pray for boldness versus praying away circumstances, because we don't have any right to complain about what we tolerate in this life. And are we going to be tolerant Christians or are we going to be bold Christians, ones that actually stand for truth, that are, that are not willing to back down, but to love. Well, right. And knowing that we are the salt and light. Right. Salt. Meaning we are to preserve kingdom culture, not the world's culture, but kingdom culture. And we are to expose darkness. So have boldness for that, ask for it, declare it right and believe for it. That being said, we will see you guys all on next week, Friday, 11 o' clock Eastern Standard Time.
Am I right? Yeah.
I don't even know what time it is. 11 o' clock Eastern Standard Time. Sometimes we're in different time zones. Most every week I'm in a different time zone.
Right.
That being said, we'll see you guys on next.
