A sermon-style YouTube monologue (by Rylee Meek) arguing that humans are 'assigned to earth' while holding citizenship in heaven through Christ, and therefore are called to partner with God's word on earth. The speaker uses Elijah as a scriptural example of a prophet who received and proclaimed God's word, and claims that both God and the enemy operate by raising and sending humans to carry out actions on earth.
We're assigned to earth. We are citizens of the earth, but we're also citizens of heaven through Christ Jesus. But he works in this partnership with humanity. So he released the word of judgment. And you see this kind of order in scripture. Elijah didn't just pray frivolously, didn't just pray to the air. Wasn't just asking. He was actually had received a word, took that word. It wasn't that he didn't trust the word. He realized the responsibility as a prophet was to partner with God's word and actually proclaim it in the earthly realm. As a human who dwells on earth, you know, anytime the Lord wants to do something in earth, he sends. He raises up and sends humans. Anytime the enemy wants to do something in earth, what does he do? He raises up and sends humans.
