What Does It Mean To Live For God? | King's Council

This is a promotional/vision video from King's Council featuring Rylee Meek and Christian Edwards outlining their mission to glorify Jesus, awaken the church, and raise up kingdom disciples. They ground their vision in Scripture (notably 2 Chronicles 16:9 and 7:14), emphasize discipleship, authentic community, and cultural transformation, and call believers to active, mission-focused living rather than passive faith.
Chapters
Hey. Hey, guys. Riley Meek and Christian Edwards here and here at the King's Council, we believe that God's greatest gift to us, well, that's life and our greatest gift back to him. And that's how we live it. In 2nd Chronicles 16:9, it says that the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. So with hearts fully committed, fully devoted to the Lord, we live with one aim here. To glorify Jesus, to advance his kingdom and to walk boldly in the purpose that he has placed within us. Right every day. I believe it's an opportunity, it's a divine invitation to live on, mission and faithfully steward the call of God on our lives.
That's right, Riley. Our vision is clear and urgent. We exist to awaken the church, engage the loss, equip the saints, and ignite a movement of kingdom disciples who live with power, purpose and conviction. We are here to stir hunger for the presence of God. Pray, proclaim the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness and clarity and raise up a generation who live for, not comfort or convenience, but for kingdom impact.
Yes, that's right, man. We, we really stand for unshakable the promise really that's given us in 2nd Chronicles 7:14, right? If you guys know this, that's when God's. He tells God's people that if they would just humble themselves, that they would pray, that they would seek his face, they would turn from their wicked ways. Ultimately he would actually hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land. This just, this isn't just a verse to us, man. This is more of like a mandate, right? It fuels our pursuit of revival and transformation in our hearts, in our homes, in our communities, and ultimately man, our nation.
That's right. We long to be a people who, when God searches the earth, he finds ready hearts. Like Moses, Abraham, Samuel and Isaiah saying, here I am, Lord, send me. We are a people marked by availability, humility, hunger and surrender, ready to be used by God however he chooses. Because the call to follow Jesus isn't just a moment, it's a lifelong mission.
That's right, man. We believe that salvation, that's, that's just the beginning, not the end, right? The Christian life is a call to discipleship, to grow in maturity, to walk in holiness and really take our place in God's redemptive mission. We're not saved, to simply walk, wait for heaven. We're actually commissioned, right? We want to bring heaven to earth, to live out the gospel both with power and in love. And we do this through intentional discipleship, authentic community, right? And a relentless hunger for God's presence. We are raising up kingdom ambassadors who know their identity, who embrace their assignment. Right? And ultimately transform culture for his actual glory.
That's right. Kingdom living is more than a belief system. It's a way of life. It's walking in alignment with the king's will, stewarding resources as royal sons and daughters, and advancing the purposes of God in every sphere of influence, from the home to the marketplace. We believe identity leads to purpose, and purpose calls for bold faith in action.
Yeah, man. We refuse to settle for passive faith or cultural Christianity, right? We are committed to actually equipping the body of Christ to walk in power, to pursue holiness and shine bright, lightly as salt and light in a dark and broken world. So together, we move, right? One body, one mission, to see lives restored, the church revived in the Kingdom of God, revealed in power and glory. This is our calling. This is our commission. This is the King's council.
