Why God Cares So Much About Your Money | Money Answers Everything Part 2

Christian Edwards and Riley Meek lay out eight biblical principles for the Kingdom Economy: God owns all resources, money is amoral but reflects the user's heart, business is the only system that creates wealth, and Christians must reclaim territorial dominion. They argue generational wealth only lasts when built on work ethic and faithful stewardship.

Foreign.
Everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the King's Council podcast. And we are on part two.
Part two.
Part two of Money Answers Everything. If you guys didn't listen to last week's, hit pause and go listen to last week's because you're gonna want to hear that. As it kind of tees up what we're diving into today. First from the book of Ecclesiastes.
Yes.
Y.
Yes.
Which is actual scripture. Money Answers Everything. I think a better understanding of it is it explains everything. Right. Because sometimes the answer, it's not a good answer. Right. But it's an explanation of where's our heart? Who has our heart?
That's right.
That's right. You are a man of little words today.
Well, we just started.
Is that it?
And we just ate.
Yes, we did just eat.
Digesting.
We did just eight. So I guess this is solo episode today, everybody. Just kidding. Just kidding. We are as going into part two. We kind of ended that.
We.
We mentioned it towards the end. Three reasons why I believe God wants us to have money, to have provision. Certainly though, if, if at any point that it has us, I don't think God wants it. Right. So this is why we have to be sharp. We've got to have discernment. We gotta have others around us that are willing to speak life into us to. And that's really again, what the King's Council is all about. And in. In the King's Council, we talk a lot about the kingdom economy. And as we ended last week's episode, we ultimately said we were going to dive into the eight principles of really what lays kind of the foundation here of what the Kingdom economy is actually all about. This is the principles of the Kingdom Economy, not kingdom money principles. We have more for that that we're going to be diving into over the upcoming weeks. But these would be just eight principles that we just need to understand and fully grasp. Okay, what are we doing here as we're establishing the kingdom economy and we're going to dive through these eight principles right now.
Let's do it.
Let's do it. All right. Principle number one is pretty simple. God is the source.
Yeah.
Yes. That's it. Right. Your resources will change. They will continually change, probably many times over. I often tell people this on our one on one coaching calls. It's like, hey, listen, if this is your first business, probably not going to be your last business.
Right?
Right. Just especially if you got that entrepreneur itch, right? Where it's like we, we see a problem and immediately we we start to dive into solutions or how could we make it better? How do we, how do we grow this, how do we scale this thing? Right. And so your, your resources will absolutely change, but your source, your source should never change. Yeah.
And just to come to that understanding and really know and recognize and, and live day to day that there's simply one Source. Everything that we have comes from Him.
Yes.
We own nothing. He owns everything. And when we start to idle. We mentioned this last week, Idol any resource above the actual source. That's an issue.
Yes.
That. That's idolatry. No matter what it is, it could be something good. It could be something that's positive, productive in your life. But when you put a resource before the source, that's idolatry.
Yes, absolutely. I love what Paul says in Philippians, chapter 4, verse 19. It says, and my God shall supply all your. According to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The supplier alone is God. Yeah. Yes. We've all been given different talents, skill sets and abilities, but we always need to truly recognize who the true source, who is truly supplying us those resources and everything that we do. And what does he supply? It's everything. All things. Right. According to his riches in Christ Jesus. So it's. It's everything we need to thrive on. It's everything to produce wealth. All of our abilities, again, are from God. And then ultimately it's the blessings that give us the ability to actually produce wealth.
As you're saying, that just made me think of another verse. It's Paul again in second Corinthians, chapter nine. You know, most people, especially when it comes time for the church to take up the tithe or take up the offering that they may. They may recite this verse. God loves a cheerful giver. That's Second Corinthians 9, 7. But then verse 8, I think is like the real right hook in this says, and God is able to make all grace abound towards you. So all grace abound towards you that you always having all sufficiency in all things, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. It's like man, he, our Source provides a lot.
Yes. All things.
All things.
Always. Always. That's great, man.
And I love how he says you twice. You know, Paul says, my God here, right? And when you read the Bible and really make it possessive when you, when you're reading it. Yeah, my God. And yes, God loves us all. Right. Even those who haven't said yes to him yet. But when you really personalize it where this is just a conversation between you and God. You're reading the Bible, he's talking to you and you al my God. And here when Paul says God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that you always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. I love that.
Yes.
Make it personal.
Yeah, I love that. It actually even reminds me of, you know, in Deuteronomy 8, which is really kind of flowing with our notes here on this. Deuteronomy 8 tells us that it's God that gives us the power to produce wealth. So it's God that gives us. Right. The power to actually produce it. But we still are the ones that have to produce it. Right? Yes. It doesn't just like make run money, you know, rain down on us.
Y.
Right. It still comes down to God is our source. He's resourcing us up to actually do the actual work.
Yeah. He gives us the power, the ability. If you combine true faith, like unwavering faith with true discipline and true work ethic, true grit. Oh my gosh. What can't be accomplished?
Yes.
I mean, you're gonna accomplish everything that's in God's will for you.
Yeah.
100. If you truly believe in the word of God, believe in those little words that he's whispered to you in your personal time when he gives you those downloads, when he gives you those revelations, and then mix that with actually working, working hard, taking action. Oh my gosh.
Yeah.
I mean, I don't know what's a bigger problem, People lacking faith or having no work ethic.
Right. Yes. That is a, that is a problem as well.
Yeah.
Right. And those that are just, you know, living to get by, I don't need enough. I just need enough for me. Right. It's a very selfish thing. Yeah. It doesn't sound selfish, but if you actually hear the words and, and understand what, what that person is really thinking, it's like, no, that's. That's we're supposed to love our neighbor.
Yeah.
Right. So let's go use money as a tool, which is actually principle number two.
Yeah.
Did you have anything left on principle one?
I was just going to say, if God's perfect will for my life is to max out at $100,000 a year, then so be it. I'm going to put myself in a position to make that $100,000 a year. If he. If my max out level and God's perfect will is a million. If it's 5 million, if it's 10 million. Don't want to live beneath what God's called me to do in any aspect of my life.
Y. So. Absolutely. And that's just a measure of excellence that we are all called to. Yep, yep. Absolutely. All right, so principle number two. Money is a tool.
Yes.
It's all it is. Earlier or on last week's episode, we. We talked about this. Like, money is amoral.
Amoral. Amoral. It's not a moral.
Amoral. Yes, yes. And it is only good or bad based upon whose hands it's in and what are the intentions of it. Right. So it's a tool that we. That we are called to. To put to actual use. And Luke 12:34 says, where your treasure is your heart, there will your heart be also.
Yes.
Yes. Little of a spelling error, I think, in my notes. Or maybe. Maybe it's just my read reading. Wow. Yes.
We shouldn't have eaten before we've done this.
I know, right?
Before we done this, before we done did this.
We're gonna get through this. We will. Absolutely. So money is a tool.
Right.
And then I love too, as you continue in Luke. Luke has so many great gems. Luke chapter 16 says, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, which is like, okay, what's unrighteous wealth? Who will entrust you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in which is another's, who will give you that which is your own. This just makes me think too, if you're in, if you are working for somebody else, are you actually taking ownership of that position that you've been given? Right. Are you just punching the clock and waiting for the 5 o' clock to hit so you can go build your business? But right here it says, if you've not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own. You got to take care of the little things first. Be, be disciplined, be intentional. Operate in that excellence before you're ever going to be able to continue to level up. Right. It's just no different than the people that are like, well, when I. When I have money, then I'll be generous. No, you won't. Right. That's not how it works. This is why when people win the lottery, they're flat broke two years later because they didn't pay their taxes. They bought all the toys and they blew it. Right. They didn't use it as the tool for which God actually had intended.
Amen.
Number three.
Number three.
Ripping through these bad boys. Business man Business is the only system that creates wealth. Yeah, I, I've, you know, meditated on this for a while and I. This is absolutely true. Right. Because even if you, you know, I'm friends with a lot of like real estate gurus and it's still a business that they're operating in. Right. Whether they're flipping homes or they're buying multifamily units, things like that, they are creating wealth through business. Right. And really it is the system that we can actually continue to grow in and continue to actually produce a continual flow of income and ultimately wealth for our families and for our kids. Kids, Kids, kids. Right.
Yeah.
That's. We're supposed to leave inheritance for our children's children. Yeah, yeah.
What about the stock market?
That's gambling to me, partly because I don't know anything. I don't know enough about it. I operate with. This is just me. But we do three things. We, we invest in cash flow businesses, cash flow real estate, which I really don't have any right now at the moment, and then cash flow banking. That's what I know I have a skill set in. And that's what I feel God has called me to do at this time. Right. And other people may do 401ks, 403bs, different things like that, but for me, that's not, I don't, I don't feel like it's maximizing the, the leverage that you can use by, by using money as an actual tool that's good.
At the end of the day, it's, you got to work, you got, you got to work at it.
Yeah.
God gives us the ability, the power to create wealth. He doesn't just say, oh, here you go.
Absolutely, absolutely. Because. And that's a lot of people, they just like, I just want that passive income. There's passive. There ain't such, any such thing as it. I really don't believe there is a true passive income. Even if you own real estate, there's. You still have to be involved. You have to be engaged in those things. Unless you're so wealthy that you've just hired people to run it and you trust those people. But there still should be checks and balances. Yeah, right. That's why I just don't really believe that there's such a thing as passive. Passive income. Yeah.
Right.
And I don't even, I don't even would even want that. Really.
Yeah.
I'd just be a train wreck. I'd be so bored. You would, right?
You get bored easily.
Yeah, that's. Yes. I think that's a good thing. Yeah. I mean, I like, I. I do get bored easily, but I think I'm still somewhat of an introvert or I still. I need my time with the Lord. I need the time of.
Just like your tubby time.
My tubby time. That sounds naughty, but it's not. You're referring to me just taking a bath?
Yes.
Yes. Yeah, I need that. Right. That's what fills me up for sure. Spending time with the Lord, But. But back to just business being the only system that actually creates wealth. I mean, just think of what business is. The, you know, you're providing value in the marketplace for a return of a different form of value, which is usually in dollars. Right. Cash.
Yep.
We, you know a ton about this, but I think most people get this of we've gotta. You gotta have a business.
Yeah. Right.
If. And also if you're just. If you are in a job, you have to. Most people are praying to God, like, bless me, Lord. I want to. You know, I need to. I want to make more money. Well, you have to put yourself in a position to receive. Right. If you've only given him the opportunity to bless you through your job, then that means he also has to bless your boss. He also has to bless the people above you, your managers. Um, and this is why I think we are born entrepreneurs and understanding, like, hey, that we can create value. We just have to determine, like, what's the vehicle, what's the vessel that we're going to use so that God can pour out those blessings upon us.
Yeah. If you don't have your own business, if you're a typical 9 to 5 guy, the only way you could earn more money is by just simply working more. You may make time and a half on those hours that you work or that you'll make time and a half money, but how much you're still. I mean, what are you going to work 80 hours a week? You know, there's still a max to that, how much you could possibly work.
Yep, absolutely. Absolutely.
Plus the tax benefits.
Yes.
Of owning a business.
Yeah. And if you don't know those, you got to learn them or you got to hire the. The right people. Yeah, Right. We got to. You got to understand the game of money. And it's. If you can gamify this stuff, it gets. Gets very, very fun. Luke, chapter 19, verse 13. I love this. It is. Engage in business until I come. Right. Some translations I think I said last week. It's. It's occupy.
Right.
Occupy. Until he comes this is a part of our. The original commandment. Right. To have dominion on this earth.
Yeah.
We are. We are to engage in business. If we're sitting back waiting for the rapture to happen, you're not. You're not being obedient.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
This is, this is what we were called to do.
I wish that one translation didn't say Occupy, because I know people that are really good at just occupying space.
They're like £400. Yeah.
Just lazy. If you're occupy. Okay. Occupy till I come. But what it's. Get busy.
Yeah.
Engage.
Take territory.
Yeah.
It's have. Yeah.
Have.
Take territory. Have dominion. Occupy.
Yeah.
Right. Very good, Very good. All right. Number four, then is we've. We kind of hit on this. But all business requires work. It requires work. We just got off a coaching call. We do these calls within the King's council, and we talked a lot about that. Like, God will give you a vision. He can absolutely give you that vision. But buckle up, buddy. It's time to get to work. And that vision, if it is strong enough, it will instill in you the disciplines that are needed to fulfill it. You got to have a vision so strong that it gives any sort of pain purpose, because you are going to experience pain. Yeah. Business is so fun. Entrepreneurship is so fun and so scary and so scary. And you experience doubt and fear and worry and anxiety. And that's why you have to stay rooted in the scriptures and anchored to truth. But it takes. It comes back to just. It takes work.
Yeah. And if God gives you instruction, you know, we, we just heard from somebody who sit in his prayer closet, and God said, I'm going to give you a billion dollar business.
Yeah.
And he was like, what? I. I don't even have a million. You have an idea.
Right.
But then God gave him the download for the idea and it. Talk about no such thing as passive income. He's going to do $32 million this year in revenue. He's building out his whole team so he could do less and less. You know, he's not just fulfilling out of his garage anymore. Right. But he said, I don't even know what, what day of the week it is. I don't know what month we're in because I, I'm always working.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
Yeah. And that's a season of life. Right. The scripture tells us there's seasons for everything. Right. And if you're just starting in. In business, get ready to go through a season. Yeah. There's going to be ups and downs, hills and valleys. But it's what's most important in that entire process. What I love, even about entrepreneurship, is that it develops character. Right. And things that you would never think about pop up. And it's like, oh, my gosh. And we say this a lot. Action brings clarity, but the reaction reveals character. And who. What. That's. What's God's most important. He doesn't. I mean, he. He cares, but it's not. You don't get special rewards by making a bunch of money in this earth. Like, he wants to know, who are you becoming in that process?
Yeah. I forget who posted this, but it was a woman who popped up on my social media. I didn't even recognize her. So I don't know if it was just a suggested video, but she said she was sitting in first class one day. She sparked up a conversation with the guy next to her. Good place to network, first class on planes. And she said this guy was telling her about this club that he had. And in order to be a part of this club, you had to be worth like, it was like $25 million, something like that. But if you're part of this club, you would have to have had declared bankruptcy at least once and have at least one lawsuit against you, which is.
Pretty much Everybody that's worth $25 million.
Right, right. So, I mean, most businessmen. Successful businessmen are entrepreneurs who are successful, meaning in terms of wealth. I mean, most of them have a story of when they were down and out, even once they started making money. And oh, my gosh, this happened. And, you know, we declare bankruptc. We're close to declaring bankruptcy, something like that.
All right. Number five, business is our promised land and proving ground.
Yeah.
I love this because.
So profound.
It really is. And it. It immediately just when. When why we've entitled it. This is. It's our promised land. I just think of Abraham and, you know, the, The. The promise that he. He. He was given, but he still had to go through testing.
Right?
There was testing that. That he had to experience. And. And you think about even him just having to sacrifice Isaac, right? That he was. He was being tested in all those areas. And that was God just saying, hey, are you ready? Are you ready for. For this? Can you actually be the person that I've called you to be?
Yeah.
Right.
And think about this. When God tests us, God is. He never settles on just knowing how faithful we are in our hearts. We have to walk it out. We have to live it out. Abraham obviously proved the faith that he had and the trust he had in God because he was willing to sacrifice Isaac. And when he actually showed that he was willing to do it, that's when God called him Abraham, here I am. And he let him see that ram in the bush. Yeah, but that was.
But what's so cool is, like, that was Abraham's answer to everything.
Here I am.
I suppose if we heard the literal voice of God come be like, here I am. He was willing to do everything. Yeah, yeah.
So an audible voice.
Yeah. Even when. When he got asked him to, hey, tomorrow, I need you to go sacrifice Isaac just says he went to bed, he woke up first thing in the morning, and they went, yeah, right. Like, I don't know, man. I'd be sitting there questioning a little bit, right? Like, God, are you sure? You told me this was how. How am I going to be the father of many nations? This is. This is my boy here. Right, Right.
Yeah.
But he trusted the promises of God. So good.
Yeah.
So good. And really, if we think about what was business like back in that time, that was. That was land, right? And this is why I think business now, today and 2024, as we're recording this, like, business is the proving ground, right? This is what. What the land was. This is what taking territory was back in the day is we are able to do this now in the. In the business realm, right? It's going to prove. It's going to be the proving ground. Now, are we going to be proven to be faithful in this or are we going to fall short? Right? That's up to you. That's up to any of us. That's right. And if. If we've got the kahunas.
Cojones. Cojones.
Yeah. Yes. So we gotta be faithful in the little things. We gotta be faithful with where we are now, Right. You might not be able to rub two pennies together, but you got two pennies, right? What are you gonna do with them? Yeah, right. This is. This is the little thing. This is why, many years ago, I just. When I started to even dive back into scripture, I just, like, made a promise to myself even that even if I saw a penny on the ground, I was gonna pick that thing up, right? Which normally I'd be like, this is worthless. It's not worth me standing or bending over to pick it up. I thought it was better than that. Right. But no, I'm gonna. I'm gonna steward the little. Because I know that that is gonna instill in me the discipline that I need when God wants to grant me the better the bigger. Yep. So faithful where we are now. Faithful even when working for unjust bosses. Right. I know this is some of us that are. That are listening. It's just like you are struggling in that work environment. But we are called to be faithful with where we at right now. Whatever it is. Literally anything. You might not even have a job, you got to be faithful to go get a job then if that's. If that's what you have to do to actually provide, to have provision to put food on the table right now, you do the hard thing. You do what you got to do in the time. Right. A lot of us just want a business and be doing business, but it's. We've got to. These are benchmarks that. That we typically have to go through and doing the hard things before we actually prove faithful enough for the promised land.
Yeah.
And then faithful with another person's business. Put this in here, because we're talking about the kingdom economy, and this is where I think we fall short tremendously as Christians and being intentional with sowing into other people's businesses. But even just how we treat other people, even as patrons and customers, are we taking care of. Call it even a restaurant like that? We go in and we. We sit at. Are we the type that, you know, food falls on the floor and we just let it be because that's somebody else's job.
Right.
Or do we actually take care of it? Do we take, you know, pride in a good sense of, like, I'm gonna leave this place better than when I came in?
Yeah.
Right. What if Christians actually did that? Yeah. Ooh.
Yeah.
Things might be a little different.
I'm sure Jesus would do that.
You better believe it.
Yeah.
Flip the table right over first, and then you pick it up.
Where's the mop?
Yeah, that's good. That's good. Anything else on that, man?
No. When you're faithful in your work, you'll enjoy the Bible definition of blessed, which, you know, Psalm 1 is remarkable. And if you're ever having a bad day, just read Psalm 1. It starts right there. Because being blessed is like being a tree that's planted by streams of water.
Yes.
Living water.
Yes. Yeah.
It'll never wither. It'll grow fruit in due season. Everything it does, it will prosper.
Yes.
Everything.
Yes. That's God's will for our life.
Yeah. There's a lot of, like, alls. Everythings in the Bible.
Yeah.
Yeah. You can't take that lightly.
That is true.
Everything you do will be prosperous.
Everything that's God's system, man. That is, that is his, his desire for us. But again, it comes back to, are we going to do what it says?
Yeah.
Right. I just love this Someone is so good. Because if we really understand that like streams of living water, we're to be planted.
Right.
Rooted in those areas. And I know we've talked, we coach, we mentioned this at least in the seal of your life events. It's like a tree doesn't produce more fruit by like grunting the fruit out. Right. Or it's not like, oh, it doesn't.
Have to work hard or it doesn't.
Have to toil or stress. This is what we do. And in business. Yeah, right. Oftentimes it's like, I got to work harder. I gotta, I gotta, you know, stress about different things. It's like, no.
What?
The only way a tree produces more fruit is based upon where it's planted. And that's our world. Our lives are absolutely no different. Yeah. Yes.
That's good.
Yes. All right, number six then. Wealth transfers are always work related. It happens in the business world. It takes work. Right. Now there could be a transfer, I guess from. Maybe you're a trust fund baby.
Right.
But that was produced by creating wealth through work in business. And then now the transfer from you to them is if you're going to actually continue to do it. Yeah, right. This is why a lot of times that generational wealth, it ends. Right. It ends with the, with the schmuck of a kid.
Yeah.
That's spending it on drugs and stupid stuff. Right. Unfortunately, lots of examples just in, in recent history of, you know, the past few decades of wealth, extremely wealthy families that they're. There's nothing left to be said about it. Because they didn't instill probably poor parenting mostly.
Right.
That's really what it boiled down to. They didn't instill the work ethic that was needed for that continual generational wealth to pass on. I Love this. Proverbs 13:22. A sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.
Yes.
That's a good one. What's the remainder of that, that proverb? Do you know it?
Not off the top of my head.
Okay.
Do you?
No. But I feel like that's one. Let's look it up. Because I feel like if I remember right, this is one that either right before it or right after it, like people oftentimes quote this.
13:22. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous yes. Ok.
Yes, that's what I was thinking. That connected the dots for me. So it is a good man receives and leaves inheritance for his children. Children. But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. Yes. Wealth chances are always work related. Requires work.
Yeah. So in order to be a good man, I have to have enough earthly riches. Right. Obviously we want to pass down our spiritual riches. We want to pass down, you know, as much godly things as we possibly can. But Bible says I'm a good man if I'm able to provide for my children and my grandchildren.
Yep. Wow. Yes, absolutely.
But also at the same time, don't leave those little snot nose kids with inheritance and not teach them how to continue that legacy.
Yes, absolutely. And I think that's, that's just as important because I really believe God would rather have you be. I wouldn't, I'm not gonna say poor, but he would rather have you be average financially and, and have a strong marriage, a strong family than crushing it financially and you not leaving a true inheritance. Because I think a true inheritance is far more than just money and, and riches. It is the character development that, you know, have you passed on that legacy of what it means to operate in excellence?
Yeah.
What it means to have disciplines in your life like that's, that's an inheritance man, that you can't even put a.
Value on knowing you're a king.
Yes.
Knowing the concept of kingdom as God describes it in the Bible.
Yes. So. Yeah. So good. All right, number seven then. Christians must reclaim their territory.
Hey.
Oh yes. Deuteronomy 28:13 says the Lord will actually make you the head and not the tail. Yeah. We got to reclaim the territory. Back to again. The original intent of creation was for us to subdue, to have dominion over, over territory. And that means literal territory. Yeah. Like we need to actually be the ones. But the reality, again, is that it takes provision to, to actually physically take territory.
Yeah.
Yes, no question. It takes people that are willing to do those hard things, willing to take risks. Right. And, and actually step up and, and stand out for what truly is. Right.
Yep.
Right.
And understand the difference between being content and complacent.
Yes, absolutely.
Be content. If you only have a little. Be content in that you're not complaining.
Yeah.
You don't have any grievances towards God. Be content. Me meaning be grateful for what you have. However, don't be complacent in that God will always meet us right where we are, but his intention is never to keep us where we are.
Yes. Philippians 4, 11 and 12. Now that I'm speaking of being in need. For I've learned. No, in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound in any and every circumstance. I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
And those are the verses. Right. Before I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
That's good.
Yep.
That's good. All right, so we got to reclaim territory, which then leads us into number eight here. We're end on this thing is that possession of the land is not optional. Right.
Yep. It's a mandate.
Optional. Yes, it is an absolute, absolute mandate from Genesis 1:28. The first command in the Bible is to take dominion. Yep. Yes.
Yeah.
And if we actually operated within that, we don't have to take it. We. We will have it. Yeah. Right. Be fruitful first. Be productive first with what you've been given. Multiply it. Right. So whatever that business idea concept is, is are you fruitful with it first? Right. If you're producing bad fruit, that ain't fruit. Right. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
Right.
Right. So understand what that is. You got to inspect the fruit. And are you. Are you productive? Are you being fruitful with what you've been given? And then we're called to multiply that. To actually start then to take territory, to have no minion on this earth.
And if we're to bear any fruit, we need to stay connected to the true vine.
Yes. Most importantly. Yeah. Abide in him, the one true vine. Absolutely. So these guys, again, eight principles here. This is really just how to. How to operate within the kingdom economy, how to operate just life in general. Right. Of just understanding the role of money, the role of finances, the role of business as entrepreneurs here. It is a. It's a responsibility. And I don't. I don't. We should not take it lightly. Right. Right. And this is. This is the proving ground. This is the character development that you get to go through. You get to get to. You don't have to get to. You could go get a job at Best Buy. You go get a job somewhere else.
Yeah.
But understand that the world needs those.
Guys to drop the fries in the grease.
They absolutely do.
The world needs it.
They absolutely do.
It ain't just. It's not going to be me or no my kids.
No, definitely not. Because I think if you're even. If you're listening to this, you're listening to this for a reason. Right. And it's, it's. You've got that inkling in you, you've got that, that stirring within you of like, hey, I'm called to more. I'm called to do something of importance and I want to be used by my creator. Yeah. And if you take that into true consideration and then application, that's going to put you in the best position possible to develop the character in your life.
Amen.
Yes. Amen. Amen. Amen. There they are, guys. I'll just recap them real quick. Right, Eight principles here for the foundation of the kingdom economy is God is your source. Number one, God is your source. Money is a tool. Business is the only system that actually creates wealth. But it's going to require work, which is number four. All business requires work. Business is our promised land and our proving ground. And wealth transfers are always going to be work related. It comes back to just. It's going to require work. We got to reclaim our territory and then ultimately possession of the land. This is not an option. This is part of the first, the original commandment that we've been given to take territory on this earth. That being said, that was a quick one. That was a quick one for us. It was still 30 some minutes. Oh, seemed quick.
We've been running a little long.
Yes. Apologize. Yeah.
You didn't. No. Embarrassing story.
I'm gonna feed you more often so we can tighten these things up a little bit. You don't get as lippy as you used to.
