A short, first-person reflection (YouTube video) about the value of stillness in experiencing God. The speaker (Rylee Meek) recounts being saved then spending a month in rehab beginning the day after conversion, using the free time to sit in quietness and 'be in the presence of God' (often under the stars). Looking back 14 years later, the speaker calls those still, quiet moments some of the most precious memories with the Lord.

Some of the most beautiful times we have with the Lord is when we're simply sitting in stillness, in quietness, and just practicing being in the presence of the Lord. Now, there's. Obviously, it's great to open the Bible, read scripture, to have something to meditate on, but, you know, I spent a month at rehab, which I got there the day after I got saved. I got delivered from that drug addiction, still went to rehab. And it was a month of just kind of being absorbed in thought on the Lord and that encounter that I had. And it's powerless, really for you? Oh, it was. Yeah, it was. It was 100% like. I. I'm like, thank you, God, for planning it out that way. Yeah, yeah. Because I didn't actually need the rehab, but it just gave me an opportunity to be away with the Lord. And of course, you do the different things, the classes and therapies and all that sort of thing. But there was so much free time, especially in the morning and evening, where I would just sit under the stars and just be in the presence of God. And looking back, it's now 14 years that I've been saved. That's some of the more precious moments or memories that I have with the Lord just sitting there, being still.
