A short talk/transcript by Rylee Meek emphasizing personal responsibility in Christian discipleship: individuals must actively seek discipleship through community, mentors, and Bible study rather than blaming the institutional church. The speaker highlights accountability, the role of the King’s Council community and mentors, and the Bible as the ultimate discipler while acknowledging the need for interpersonal help to interpret Scripture.

People here in America, just they're not being discipled appropriately, properly. Yeah. And it's like discipleship, though, takes. It takes you, right, to take the action. It's not somebody else's responsibility to disciple you. You have to be the one to seek out a body of believers or people to be around to glean from and ask hard questions. Right. But being willing to actually be confronted on things and held accountable to things. And this is something, again, that I think we have a great relationship with amongst many other people within the King's Council community and mentors that we have. But ultimately, I mean, the best discipler, see, if this is a word discipler is the word of God. Right? It's like getting your Bible right. But sometimes you need help with understanding. Like, what does this even mean? Diving into the root words, things like that. There's lots of software out there. But this is why God said it's not good for man to be alone. Right. We can also. We need to lean on others in those times of need to be actually discipled.
