Namaste. It's Sahara Rose. And welcome back to the Highest Self Podcast, a place where we discuss what makes you your soul's highest development. I remember who I am when I toss off the hat that tells me how to think. When I take off the jacket that boxes my arms, strip from the pants that suppress my kundalini, unhook the bra that withholds my femininity shed from all the layers society has clothed on me and allow my hidden thighs to be kissed by the sun. My caged feet remember they have toes. My constricted body remembers its flexibility. My focused eyes remember they can see past my screen. My overstimulated ears remember the sound of birds. My fixated mind remembers there's more to life than Instagram. My endless soul remembers the untapped freedom that exists within me. I have come home. I hope you enjoyed these words. Head over to my Instagram at I am Sahararrose to read more of my poetry. Namaste Sam.
