536: How To Spot The Universal Signs + Follow Your Intuition with Mia Magik
6 Feb 2024 · 86 min
Mia Magik, a witch and priestess, talks with Sahara Rose about reading universal signs, trusting your intuition, and rituals for manifestation. They explore the wild woman archetype and how to connect with nature as part of your spiritual practice.
For all of us to connect with the wild woman archetype. Yes, I do recommend going to nature. Like, obviously I'm going to do that. But it's about what does freedom look like for you and what does it mean for you to be able to exist in sometimes your hurricane and sometimes your volcano, and sometimes your perfect stillness like the clear surface of a lake, and sometimes your little trickling creeks and sometimes your waterfalls. And we all have these different expressions. And, you know, you said we're afraid of our bodies. Our bodies are the earth element. Your bones are like the stones in the mountains. Our blood is the rivers and creeks and streams within us. It is the water we breathe in the air. We exchange it with the natural world. It's our mind, it's our communication. We're breathing life into one another right now. That's where the word inspiration comes from. And then the fire is our beating hearts.
Welcome back to the High Self podcast. My name is Sahara Rose, and on this podcast I love to take spirituality and make it really modern, grounded, fun, and relatable so it can serve your needs. My favorite episodes are the ones that I bring my best friends on. And this little witch you're about to meet, she's been on the podcast many times because we have a series together on YouTube called Manifest your magic. And she is a real life witch, but beyond a witch. She is a priestess. She is a sex goddess. She is someone who is deeply connected to earth, the elements, spirit, nature, intuition, astrology, and so much. She's not only one of my best friends, but a teacher to me. And we just got back from spending a week in the Swiss Alps, diving deep into, you know, serving humanity and our deepest shadows. And she's someone that really walks. Her talk, talks her walk, you know what I mean? So in this conversation, we're really gonna let the goddess guide us. But something that both of us have really felt resonant in our. In our journeys is that we don't need to settle for a mundane life. And so often we look around us at what other people, our friends, our family, people at our jobs, what their realities are like. And we think that that's the benchmark of what's possible. And we, you know, most people end up living and dying in the exact same city and not really going out and venturing into the unknown because they're afraid. So MIA is such a stand for creating your most magical life, for trusting the unknown, and for venturing into it, like, wholeheartedly and being so amazed by the gifts that the Goddess gives you along way. And before we get into this conversation, I would love if you would hit subscribe on this podcast. This is the best way for you to stay tuned on future episodes and it helps raise the vibration of the planet. So wherever you're listening to this podcast, hit subscribe and we'll keep the good juju flowing. So without further ado, let's welcome Mia Magic on the Highest Self podcast. Welcome back, sweetie.
Thank you, honey. So nice to be here.
So, I've asked you this before, so I'm gonna ask you a different question. What makes you your most magical self?
For me, my magic, as you said, does come from the earth, and it comes from embodying the true, abundant and regenerative nature of our planet and of the elements. Sometimes you need the stable foundational structure of the mountains, and sometimes you need to surrender and trust and flow in the element of the water and be a little bit more adaptable. And sometimes we need to be in the higher mind and in our thoughts and our visions and our creations. And sometimes we need to take action and we need to be fiery and we need to be direct and assertive and stand up and fight for what we believe in and what we know to be right, whether for ourselves or for the world. And so what makes me my most magical self is my devotion to the earth and being able to be an alchemical union of those elements within myself and do my best to speak on their behalf.
And you so deeply embody that. And I learned so much through you of the way that you, like, you revere Earth so deeply. Like, anywhere you go, you're like, I need to jump into this freezing cold Swiss Alp lake. I'm like, I would literally rather die. But, like, bless and, you know, and the way that you commune with nature, like, you, like, ask the stars for guidance and you're in constant conversation. So I feel a lot of people right now are energetically going through a time of a lot of shift, a lot of uncertainty, a lot of unknown. And often as women, we, like, we ask our friends what to do. And, you know, you go on Instagram, you Google things, you look things up. How can we start asking our intuition, which is the name of your new book, how do we start working with our intuition for this guidance?
Well, it really does come from a myriad of forms and our unique relationship to the divine right. Is it our higher self? Is it the goddess? Is it the earth? And I love to just give people permission to use nature to find out what your true north or what your North Star is in your life. And so for me, the best thing to do, which is why I get into the freezing cold alpine lakes and creeks and streams, is because I'm always met when I go out into nature, I'm always met with both support and nourish and something that stretches me and something that pushes my edges. As women, we are often taught not to get dirty or not to be too wild or that if we go out into nature, part of the witch wound is being caught out in nature. Someone is going to come and get us or someone is going to take us, punish us, hurt and harm us for being out in nature. And so for me, and I still experience that it being my favorite place and my most healing, recharging state station for my spirit. And I still have to overcome that voice, that someone's going to come out and get me when I go to the place that is the most regenerative and healing for me. And so I believe that anytime we can get a little bit outside of the city, you know, you live right here over the beach. Just taking the moments where the negative ions, the earth's electromagnetic frequency, the soundscape, is natural and is of the earth, we can then release some of those distractions and some of those other noises that prevent us from hearing what our own inner voice sounds like and just quiet the chatter of our minds and being able to really hear that voice, that is the spirit that animates us all. It is that element that unites not only us humans, but us with the natural world and the planet herself and the entire universe and cosmos. But also there is an opportunity for us to work with the elements or whatever it is inside of us that is. That feels afraid, that feels, like, limited or disconnected. And if we strive to connect and do our best to really get outside of just our normal habituated patterns and what we think is just how it's supposed to be, that's actually one of the ways, and I, you know, really watched you embody that so much this year, is once you make one shift, one change to your actions, to the way that you show up in your life, that shift often allows you to have a clearer channel and direct access to that intuition and gives you a. Yeah, just a beautiful opportunity to then receive an invitation that can shift the entire trajectory of your life and. And bring you greater blessings and magic than you ever thought possible.
Because you're listening to this podcast, I'm gonna make a quick assumption about you. Your friends come to you for advice whenever you're at A party. Someone corners you at the side of the stack table and starts telling you all of their childhood dramas. And you actually love diving deep into spiritual topics. And you have a really good way of communicating with people. So the best way to actually create a career doing this is through coaching. But I know a lot of people, they're like, I don't even know where to start. I don't even know what type of coach I would be. So I've created a quick, easy quiz to discover your unique coaching style. And you can find that link in the show notes. I'm super excited to see what type of coach you are because I'm gonna hire you one day. So trust your intuition, trust your inner wisdom, Trust you inner guidance.
Yeah.
Like, isn't it so amazing that one moment of intuitive guidance, whether it is from being in the ocean or being out in. In the fields or the mountains or just, like, doing breath work, it's like this one little, like, whisper that changes everything. Like, every single one of your decisions after that shifts.
Yeah.
And then we're like, wow, had I not done the breath work, had I not gone to N, I wouldn't have had that realization. Because our minds are so jumbled and we're so afraid of boredom today. You know, And I. I catch myself, too, the moment I'm bored. I'm waiting for the elevator or something. I pick up my phone, pick up my phone, pick up my phone. It's this constant distraction. So how can we especially. I think. I think there's this dichotomy, right. That a lot of us feel lonely.
Yeah.
So because we're lonely, we want to feel connected in that moment. So we reach for our phones, but then we're not receiving that intuitive guidance. So how can we, like, be able to sit with our aloneness a little bit more?
Oh, I love that question. Well, one. You know how she loves etymology, Honey. The origin of the word alone comes from all one that we are meant to remember when we are in that state of aloneness, that we are actually all one with everything all around us. And so for me, I actually feel probably some of my moments beyond, like, really deep, beautiful sister connection and us doing rituals and, like, really profound intimacy in partnership. I truly feel my most connected when I am out in nature. And it is because there is an opportunity, if we can overcome that initial urge to reach for the phone and try and distract and try not to feel that aloneness. And we come back into ourselves. What's so beautiful, simultaneously about allowing nature to be that which holds you or that which loves you or supports you? We also, in that first moment, even before you get to nature, that initial, oh, I'm gonna pick up my phone. We do have so many different aspects of our consciousness, right? You have the observer and you have that which is experiencing everything. And so there's this profound opportunity to let one part of you, another part. Maybe it's the divine feminine, maybe it's your highest self, Maybe it's your most magical self. Who knows? Whatever archetype feels right for you in that moment, can you ask them to come in and be the thing that you're seeking, be that connection that you're trying to have, be the part of you that reminds you that you are not alone, you are all one. And to enter into your body. And even I've been really practicing this lately. Every time I go to reach for my phone. Even just now, I was here in your house and, like, coming into the elevator, and there was a guy sitting next to me, and I noticed myself, like, go to reach for my phone, and I just didn't. And I just put my hands back together and took a long, deep breath. I was like, I'm here with myself. I'm good. I love myself. Can I respond to whatever that part of me is? Is it my inner child? Is it my fear? Is it my wounded feminine right? And some part of me doesn't want to interact with this man because of whatever story or patriarchal program. And can I just hold that part of myself and be right here in what she's experiencing, but also be the creator and also be that which is just observing it and show up with profound, unconditional love and be able to remember I'm one with this person, too. I'm one with this wounded child who wants to distract. And I'm one with this highest self and the person or not, whether they're there or not, who's right here before me. And so then when you get to nature and you can feel once you've settled in, you know, it does really take me. I do have to put my phone away. If I'm sitting on my phone in nature, I'm not experiencing what's around me. And something that's very rarely talked about. You know, in forest bathing communities, they talk about it. But green space and blue space are types of brain matter that are created by being surrounded by beautiful green or blue natural environments. So the green is incredible. Jungle plants just like this one I love. It's like caressing me while I'm sitting here. I'm like, so here for this. Thank you. And if you're surrounded by an environment that is green and where the sounds are purely natural, right. Like birds and crickets and frogs, you're generating more efficient, impactful brain matter. And the same goes for sitting by oceans or rivers, lakes, creeks, any type of running water. It truly affects your brain. And so I really use those, not just like the little scientific factoid, but also the sentience of nature to not be alone and to, you know, I do this practice. We've talked about this a lot. I do this practice called channeled writing. We can drop it here in the show notes for you all. Free practice that just asks whatever that thing is, whether it's a part of the natural world, a mountain, a guardian angel, my highest self. It started with, I call upon my highest self. And you just write that I call upon my highest self or I call upon this mountain. Please write to me through me, anything I'm meant to receive in this moment. And every time I have done that practice for a decade now, I receive a letter from that which surrounds me. And it reminds me that I am one with everything and I'm not alone. And so there's so many ways that we can remember that. But nature is absolutely my greatest reminder. And it can feel like, oh, I'm the only person here, but look at all these birds and all these trees and all the mushrooms that I know are down beneath me in the mycelial network, allowing them all to communicate. And that remembrance is deeply supportive to our nervous systems as human beings and also can really help us counteract some of those modern afflictions, like loneliness.
That's so beautiful. And, yeah, I think there's like this deep fear of, like, being out in nature alone.
Yeah.
And like this fear of, what if, like, a natural disaster happens? What if someone gets me? I Remember you and I, last June, we were in Austin. We. It was on your birthday, and we, like, went out into nature, and we were, like, topless, like, doing our thing, but we were like. And it was someone, like, hundreds of yards away. We're like, can he see us topless? And it was like that fear moment, right? So how can we. And a lot of people, and especially women, have. Have never been in nature by themselves ever? You know, how can we start to, like, overcome this, like, deep. Like, where is this deep fear coming from?
It definitely comes from the witch wound and the witch hunts. In a time when if a woman was found out in nature gathering, the only medicine we had at that time, which was plants, you were very likely to be extracted from that natural environment and either burned or hung or tortured or at least tried as a witch. And often that could mean the end of your life. It's terrifying. It's totally normal for us to be afraid, but it is our. I think that that happened for a reason, because it is, like, the place that allows us to remember our power most. And it has certainly done that for me. And even last night, it's the full moon. I went out and did a long hike in the moonlight, and every little, like, you know, it's birds and bunnies and whatever hanging out in the bushes outside, and I still felt myself, like. And so for me, it's really a deprogramming of the fear. It is a willingness to meet the resistance and to be courageous. And sometimes those moments are harder than others. And it is a deep commitment to understanding the difference between actual fear that is trying to support you and trying to save your life and the kind of fear that is just coming from your mind. And that is hard to determine, but if you can really practice that. And that's what, you know, like, we did in that moment, right? Was like, we're good. And I did. I was like, okay. Planning our escape routes and, like, how can we get away if we need to? And, like, what are we gonna do? And then I'm like, okay, girl, chill the fuck out. What are you doing? Like, they just came down here to enjoy the natural environment just like we did, you know, relax. And so often I do have to communicate with myself in that way, but it's a totally normal fear because it really was unsafe for us to be in the place that was once our most safe and our most nourishing. And so we do have to really transform that experience. And it takes healing, and it takes those breathwork moments and those choices and Also, you know, you used the word decision earlier. And when you look at decide, it's like homicide, genocide, that C day in Latin means to kill. So to decide is to kill off. One path, one choice. And we did just go to Davos and experience the World Economic Forum in its way. And I had someone ask me about, like, the dark energy and the dark forces. And I said, well, I just decide that that cannot affect me. I choose consciously to kill off the choice or the possibility that I could, like, absorb anything from that experience. And so that is also part of it is when you are operating in your certainty and you've cultivated your creator consciousness, you can eradicate that fear. And that's what I do every single time I go back out to nature is like, I am safe here. And I almost believe that if anything were ever to happen to me, the trees would go like full whomping willow in Harry Potter and, like, fuck up anybody who was trying to mess with me, you know? And it is a little fantastical in its belief system, but it also helps me just feel comfortable and safe.
Totally. And I think our fear of nature is our fear of the feminine, you know, because we've grown up in these concrete jungles. Masculine structure, linear lines, fluorescent lights, know your way around. And we think it's safer, but it's actually where all the crime happens. Like, all the crime happens in cities.
Yeah.
So we think. And there's been so many, like, videos of, like, someone, like, they, like, do a fake, like, kidnap or something to see if someone does something. And a lot of times they don't. You know, people just, like, walk by and they don't do anything. So. But it's like. But we're afraid of nature.
Yeah, but.
So it's like. It's this conditioning. And I've also noticed it's like we're afraid of our bodies, we're afraid of our periods, we're afraid of the blood of soil, of all. We're just afraid of the wild, you know, and the wild within ourselves. So I want to talk about this wild woman archetype. Like, that was, like, probably the biggest archetype that came online for me majorly after my divorce of, like.
It did indeed.
Yes. And it's like I had her in me, but it was like, once I was free, it was like. I mean, I became a fucking mermaid.
And it was like, so much more.
So much more because I could. I danced freely. I was just the wild woman. Frequency is trust in the unknown.
Yeah.
It's walking through the jungle with Machete in hand, not knowing what's in front of you, but trusting whatever the fuck it is, you can handle it.
Yeah.
How can we get more in touch with that raw, primal, wild woman nature inside of ourselves?
I'm just imagining you, like, beneath the waterfall, just basking in the waterfall, like Cory cascading down upon you. And I was like, oh, my goddess, who is this version of Sahara? I'm obsessed with her.
We can tell them the story. This is a safe space. So.
So on my birthday, we went out to these waterfalls. And yes, Sahara is Persian and has, like, dealt with in the last year so incredibly, like, just so in awe of you. And, you know, I've. I've told you that plenty off, off camera before, but was a little more reserved. And, you know, she'd come to some of our sex magic rituals and some of the crazy shit that we like to do, us wild women, and, you know, sit and be proper and like, participate and support, but never, like, fully engage. And I watched her basically get fucked by this waterfall. And it was the most beautiful, magnificent thing I'd ever seen. And I was like, okay, this is the friend I have been waiting for. I'm so happy that this is what divorce turned into Sahara. Like, I'm. I'm. I'm here for this. And it was incredible. And like, that is it. It is that nature is making love to us all the time. That to experience the beauty and the. The pleasure of, like, being beneath a waterfall. And I do these amazing chakra rituals with waterfall. Like, let it pour down through my crown and cascade over my eyes and purify the way that I see the world and the way that I see, speak and open my heart and activate my power and pool in my sacred womb cauldron, and then drop down and nourish the roots of me and saturate me. Like, nature is so deeply delightful and luxurious in that way. And so for me, the wild woman archetype does look very different, right? Like, I am a feral type of wild woman. You know, I'm like, I can sit here in my cute little outfit, but, like, I prefer to just be naked. And every time I go outside, I come back with sticks in my hair. And, you know, that's just the way I like to do it. But I think that for all of us to connect with the wild woman archetype, yes, I do recommend going to nature. Like, obviously I'm gonna do that. But it's about what does freedom look like for you and what does it mean for you to Be able to exist in. Sometimes you're hurricane and sometimes you're volcano, and sometimes you're perfect stillness like the clear surface of a lake. And sometimes your little trickling creeks and sometimes your waterfalls. And we all have these different expressions. And, you know, you said we're afraid of our bodies. Our bodies are the earth element. Your bones are like the stones in the mountains. Our blood is the rivers and creeks and streams within us. It is the water we breathe in, the air we exchange with the natural world. It's our mind, it's our communication. We're breathing life into one another right now. That's where the word inspiration comes from. And then the fire is our beating hearts. And so when we can connect with whatever those elements want to be and however they want to move through us, and we can let them be free. So we look at those again with the elements. Okay, the earth is my body. That's my material reality. How do I want to operate with money? How do I want to relate to my career? What kind of home do I want to live in? You know, you've created this beautiful mermaid palace for yourself and I've created my Hogwarts castle, right? How do I want to engage in my relationships? What do I want to experience in my friendships? And how do I want to be able to speak and show up and be supported and then in the waters, how do I want to fuck and how do I want to create? And how do I want to be able to emote and feel? You know, that's a big thing we've been talking about in relationship to the masculine. I'm a big feeler. I feel a lot. I'm a Scorpio moon. And I just have always had big feelings. And that can be terrifying for the masculine and certainly terrifying for my mom too, my whole childhood. But, you know, those are the waters. And sometimes waters come in like gentle mist and sometimes they come in floods. And the same with air. Sometimes it's a gentle summer breeze and we're just here communicating and it's sweet and easy. And sometimes air is a tornado and we get do get out of control or unkind with the way that we speak and we do cause damage or destruction and then the same with the fire. Sometimes we are a beautiful, contained little candle and sometimes we are a volcano or a wildfire just burning through natural landscape. And we can find the balance of those things and the way that we are called forward by each of those expressions of nature in order to access that wild woman archetype. Am I The type that has kept myself contained as a candle my entire life, and I need a little bit of wildfire. Am I the type that's been a tornado and used my words against other people and been unkind? And I want to be just that sweet, gentle breeze that caresses your face and makes you feel so refreshed or, like, relieved on a hot summer day? And that has been the way that I have found my wild woman. And I'm still finding the balance in all of those different expressions. But I truly believe it's about what is right for us, what makes us feel free, what are the ways that we've been limited in the past by the opinions or the shoulds and supposed tos of others or society? And how do we walk forward out of those and just find, you know, even you and I still, we do have two different iterations of wild women. She's like, staying out till 6am I'm like, Girl, I gotta go home and go to sleep, you know? She's like, no, I'm following all the synchronicities. Like, text me in the morning. I just had the most magical night ever. Like, hope you enjoyed your eight hours of sleep. You know, and it's okay to be different iterations. We're gonna be different iterations. And that's actually what we need is the multifaceted, prismatic, infinite spectrum of the wild woman. And for us all to feel safe, to reclaim what that looks like within us and be our own true nature.
I love that. And looking at the elements of what we could use more of. And it's funny because it's like my element that I resonate the most with is water. But even my wild woman was, like, connecting more to that water energy of sensuality and fluidity and just, like, being like, trust, flow. They're under, like, oh, it's like a total water element there. You're so deeply connected to earth, and for you is, like, not only, like, living out in nature, but also, like, creating that foundation for yourself and, like, stepping into your. Into your mess. And it's funny because you're a Gemini, which is an air sign, but so you needed more earth. I'm a Capricorn. It's an earth sign. So I needed more water. So I think there's a lot to that. So I want to give some, like, maybe specific scenarios, and you can tell us a ritual that people can do. So let's say someone is. Maybe they have a job and it's okay. They don't really quite love it. They Know there's something more out there for them, but they. They want to do some sort of witch U l, which is her term for a ritual, a witch ritual, to help them connect to their bigger purpose. What. What's something you would suggest. Are there any rituals around that?
Oh, my God. There's so many good rituals around that. But I think the first one is just like. Like tuning in with, what if you have a job that you don't like? What is the belief system or the story that is keeping you there? Right. Like, we really are. We talked a lot about this in Switzerland with. With different iterations of. Of both of our shadows. And both of the things that we're going through is like, what story am I telling myself that's keeping me here doing something that isn't right for me or that I don't want to do? And so that is. Is such an important question. And then I do have an amazing favorite manifestation ritual, and that is really working on creating the five senses reality of what would it look like? So I. I would do this for anyone. And. And this is a great ritual or ritual that y' all can do. That's my second book, not out for a while, but write down in this reality where I have this purpose that I love in this job that I feel so inspired by, so fulfilled, what do I see? What's around me? What colors, what people, what type of environment? And then what do I hear? What kind of words? What kind of thoughts do I have? What am I feeling about myself? What are people saying to me? How are people appreciating me or thanking me for the work that I'm doing? Whatever it is, right, Whether I'm part of a team that's feeling really good and supported or I'm. I'm doing my own thing, what do I taste? What am I eating? What do I allow myself to be nourished by in this new type of life, in this new kind of job? What do I smell? What are the scents? What am I surrounded by? What am I breathing in, in the air? And then finally, not only what do I feel physically with my hands, like, what do I touch or where am I sitting, but what do I feel? What are the emotions that I feel? And you write all of this down, and then you read it out loud as a voice note or a voice memo for yourself. Some people, like Marco, Polo, whatever you're into, and you read that whole thing out loud, but you read it as a story that is already happening. I am so grateful. Gratitude always helps. Great Extra dose of magic to your manifestations and any ritual. I am so grateful for this incredible job where I have this beautiful office and I get to see X, Y, or Z. And I love going out with my co workers where we eat this beautiful, healthy food, or because we're working on a farm together and I'm pulling the vegetables out of the ground myself, and I can smell the fresh earth or the beautiful salty sea air because I have an ocean view. Whatever you're into. And you read that out loud to yourself, and then listen to that meditation as often as you want or as often as you can and really program yourself using your own voice is also super powerful for people because we are literally allowing our subconscious to believe that it is already happening and that we're speaking that as if it's occurring in our lives already. And that five senses reality creates an immersive scene in your mind and allows you to really generate the imagination. And our imagination is so powerful that this job, that this scenario, that this experience is already happening. And I did this practice with a client of mine, and the next day she went into her job. She had wanted to feel different in her job, and we did the whole process of it. And she went in and she actually just got a $35,000 raise. And just having that made her feel more appreciated, made her feel more valued as part of the team, made her feel safer in the experience. And she was like, I didn't want to quit my job. I just wanted to feel these different things. And so that's a really, really great, simple ritual to do that that's super powerful and effective.
I love that. Because ultimately, the reason why we want to manifest that thing is how it's going to make us feel, you know, And I think that sometimes we think whether it's like, like, oh, I want. I want more freedom. So, like, I must become an entrepreneur. But it's like. But maybe being an entrepreneur would not have given you more freedom. Maybe more freedom is you asking to work from home. You know, maybe more freedom is just like freedom within yourself to, like, dress how you want, you know, or even with, like, relationships. It's like, we think we want relationship, but maybe what we really want is to feel chosen. Can we choose ourselves? We. We want to feel important. Can we feel that for ourselves? So, okay, what is a good ritual you have for calling in your partner?
I would say that the most important ritual for calling in your partner is really actualizing the things. I don't think that it's about having to love Yourself first. We, I was just talking about this with our sister Krista earlier, that you don't have to necessarily love yourself in order to manifest partnership. But what I did that I felt was really important is that I made sure that the things that I expected to get from someone else I had or I was capable of giving to myself. Doesn't mean I have to love myself wholly and like, accept every single part of myself and feel just like I'm totally whole and complete in order to attract a partner. But, but I wanted to have the kinds of masculine structure that I expected a man to have. And then some of the, like, other really great, easy, amazing ways of manifesting partnership in your home is decorating your home in a way that you would feel proud to show them and to really have your space set up where at any moment they could come in and feel welcome. Right. They've got a nightstand, they've got a drawer, they've got a sink, or at least like a side of the sink that is open for them, that is available, that's accessible to them. And, and there's like so many different practices, but the, the part that was most impactful for me in calling in a masculine partner was really working on the sides of my masculine that I just didn't have together. I was lost. I didn't have, like you said, that earth, that, that structure, that discipline. I didn't have any of that. And as I started to build those structures for myself, that was then when I, I manifested a man into my life. And as we were just talking about, you know, he has taught me so much about structure and so much about discipline and so much about entrepreneurship and devotion to mission in a way that is really productive. You know, I was devoted to my mission before, but I wasn't that productive. It was very feminine and it didn't have a lot of. Yeah. Foundation to it. And so that's such a gift that I've received from him and that, that I know is a result of having done that masculine work on myself so that I could call in the partner who will really call it out of me.

And isn't it funny too, how that's the earth element again that you are calling in more earth and you manifested a partner that he. He really has that earth and foundation. And for me, I'm calling in more, making more music, artistry, creativity, water. And that's who I'm attracted to always people who are like, very creative. So it's so funny how that elemental piece comes back.
Ye.
Because that's our work. And do you think we even have like, maybe like soul contracts? Like this lifetime for you is like to learn to master earth. This lifetime for me is to learn to master water.
God, I love that. I mean, yeah, that would make perfect sense for us too. Just. Yeah, I mean, I don't. I mean, I do. I like the idea of like, oh, hello, I'm a master of earth.
You know, you totally are.
Yeah. Yeah. And I think. I mean, you know, we do. We definitely come to all of our lifetimes with some type of curriculum. And I think we're Fucking crushing it, girl. We're doing really great right now on this earthly curriculum. And, yeah, I do. I've definitely. And it is. Especially with everything that I'm experiencing in the business that has grown from. In that time that he and I have been together in the last four years, I have certainly mastered so much of Earth. And like you were talking about with people, you know, sometimes you think that you need to be an entrepreneur for freedom. Let me tell y', all, at this point in my entrepreneurial journey, even though I have, like, all this financial freedom, I don't have the kind of time freedom that I had before I was an entrepreneur. And that is. It's an exchange. Right. Because of the impacts that I'm having and the people whose lives I'm touching and the transformation that is being created across thousands and thousands of students, which is such a gift. And it's like, you never know what. What the thing is that's actually gonna be right for you. Like, this is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. But if you told me back then that I wouldn't have any free time now the way that I do, I. I would have said, well, I don't want it. I don't want to go there. Then. Like, I need my freedom. It's the most important thing. And so it really is also, like, just such part of the mystery and.
And seasons.
Exactly.
Is another lesson of nature.
Yep.
You know, there are sort of. You're. You're in your book season.
I am.
You know, and book seasons are full on. It's like you're in the portal of, like, you're giving birth. Your book's coming out in, like, less than a week now.
Yep.
So it's like you're. You're like, contractions are coming in. The head's out. Have some hair. You gotta push. You gotta breathe. You know, they want to give you an epidural. You're like, no epidural. I'm doing this natural hands and knees.
Let's go.
But then the book baby comes out, and then it's. It's a newborn for a little bit, and you're like, you're still doing the things, and then it's. You kind of find your flow with it, and then you kind of step back, and then you're like, now what do I do with all my time?
You know, and I've got plenty of things on the list, but.
Yeah, but it's. It's. This too shall pass. And it's moments in life, like, you know, being In a relationship, being single, they're all seasons. And I think, like, that was one of the things. I was so grateful because we've been friends for, like, seven years now and, like, witnessing each other in the different seasons, you know, like, witnessing being single, meeting someone, falling in love, getting married, getting divorced, full life cycle and, you know, and how life goes on and it, like, continues to get more beautiful and better, and it really has.
That's what's so amazing is through all those cycles and seasons, like, it's just gotten so much more beautiful always. And we are just. I mean, like, that week together was just so much fun and just watching each other be in our full majesty and you in that pink coat and just, like, getting to show up as our full selves and.
Yeah. Can you take a moment to tell them about where we just were?
We slayed Davos. We went to the world.
World Economic Forum, guys.
Yeah. That people literally say is, like, the reptilian stronghold of the world. It's like we're the great evil.
I wish I saw some dinosaurs. That would have been fun.
Well, I don't know if we're talking about dinosaurs, but I. You know, and you were even the one that told me some of the, like, even darker stories and. And theater.
Keep in mind, too, we weren't in the actual.
No, we didn't.
Decision room.
Yeah. We weren't, like, sitting with the Clintons, you know, that wasn't exactly what we were doing. But we went to the surrounding events of it happening. And one of our intentions was certainly to show up and Trojan horse with divine femininity. And we didn't necessarily. Wasn't really, like, secret. We were. We were definitely, like.
She was in a full witch outfit and witch hat. I was in a hot pink coat. We stood out like sore thumbs. I was singing Trust Flow Center Let Go down the streets of Davos. She's handing out intuition to every person. I'm having conversations with them. I'm like, what's your dharma? What's your meaning of life? What were your dreams last night? What were your past lives? Like, I'm getting through. Like, I was wearing this hot pink coat. So it was like I. I stood. Everyone's just, like, sea of gray. And then this guy came up to me, and he was like, I love what you're wearing. I want to introduce you to someone. And then he, like, brought me to this, like, piano bar upstairs. These, like, two old men. I didn't even know why. Then he just left me with them. So I asked the guy, I'm like, what keeps you up at night? You know, like, asking him these deep questions. Turns out he's the co founder and CEO of a $100 billion hedge fund. And we're having conversations around, like, what do you really want to do to be of service to humanity? We're talking about the oceans. We're talking about. About so many deep, deep, deep topics. And now I'm gonna be like, his spiritual advisor and helping him allocate these resources towards causes that are doing good.
Yeah.
And I'm like, I mean, he manages a hundred billion dollars. It's like, imagine if he gave $10 million to the Amazon. $10 million to clean our oceans. $10 million to educate children. 10 million do people. That's not a lot of money. And I think that that's what's so important is like, yes, we do our rituals. We're around other spiritual sisters. You live in Hogwarts. I live in my room. But we go out into the real world and we bring the magic there because we know it's not meant to be in this bubble. And that's why you wrote the book and that's why we have this podcast and we do these things like this because the magic is not like, if you're already magical, to get the magic, it's like, we're not really spreading the magic. The only way the magic will be spread is by, like, going to the darkest of places and bringing it there. But, like, you gotta be unafraid. It's like the witch wound again. It's like we stood out. I'm sure many people made fun of us behind our backs, for sure.
God bless them, they're lost. You're welcome. We would have been the coolest people you talk to there.
Right. But it's like we stood out. And I think a lot of people, they talk about being moonshot, which is like their freaking buzzword these days. Like, shoot for the moon. It's like, if you want to shoot for the moon, you have to take a risk.
Yeah.
And a risk is being unliked.
Yeah.
And I think it's that old witch wound which you talk about of, like. Like, if people don't like me, I won't be safe. So can you speak a little bit about how this witch wound shows up in people pleasing?
Oh, my God. It shows up in so many ways. People pleasing, of course. But really the essence of people pleasing. And we're in Aquarius season. As we're talking about this is betraying yourself for others approval. It's abandoning who you really are and what you really want or need in order to again, like, assuage someone and make them accept you. And what could be more damaging to our inner child or our psyche? What could be more of, like, a war within ourselves, which is why war is perpetuated out in the world than telling whatever that part of you is, hey, you're not good enough. I don't like you. I don't accept you. I'm gonna pretend like you're not there. I'm hiding you. And I'm gonna show these people something else or I'm gonna say something else, or I'm gonna disagree with what I actually feel in order to be liked. And the W shows up, certainly in people pleasing and in that way, because we're afraid of our power and we're afraid of our magic and we're afraid of our gifts. Because any way of standing out, any way of being sovereign, even like the iracular priestesses that were the nobility and that were leaders in their communities, whose communities relied upon them to understand how to move forward and what to do. Those people were all killed if you did not stay quiet and obedient and stay in line and in your lane, you were killed. That was just how it worked. And so we have the witch wound for. And even the word witch means wise. It's a wound to our wisdom. And how do we gain wisdom? We gain wisdom by learning lessons throughout life. And sometimes that means following our intuition, and sometimes it means ignoring it. And so that witch wound is a wound to our greatest wisdom and to our power and to our magic. And so it shows up in not feeling safe to speak our truth again. Because if we spoke out, we were killed. Not feeling safe to share our gifts and our magic and our medicine. Because all of the healers and all of the doctors of the time were killed. And it shows up in so many ways. Being sexual, being alive, being violent, vibrant, being filled with the true holy spirit. All of that could have deemed you dangerous and gotten you killed. And so the witch wound really just affects all of us, all people, in so many ways. And you and I have been so blessed to be the kinds of trailblazers and courageous people who are willing to meet those wounds and those edges and do what it takes to heal them and overcome them and rise beyond them. And. And we get to stand as beacons and lighthouses for other people who are lost in that storm now and are trying to find their way home. But it's not easy, y'. All. And everybody has It. I talk to clients and students every single day who are like, oh, I feel this. I feel like I'm being choked or like I'm being strangled, or I feel like I have claws in my back. You know, that was really how I felt. I would feel these, like, claws in my back trying to tear me down. And. And it's because often we just didn't. Either we literally weren't safe and something was strangling or harming us or, like, the people or the things that cared about us that were trying to protect us, wanted to hold us back so that we didn't have anything bad happen to us. And we are all systematically unwinding that oppression every single day if we choose. And it's a hard, you know, decision to make to kill off that version that's victimized and to become the victor in our reality.
This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp. Relationships are the spiritual journey. We face our shadows, we see our limitations and also our deepest desires through relationships, whether it's a romantic relationship and really wanting to dive deeper into our intimacy or even our family and our inner children being triggered. So my greatest spiritual practice is to really look at the different relationships in my life life and to see where I might feel out of alignment and how instead of running away from it, I can go deeper into it. And I have done this through therapy. So I highly recommend. Every person on planet Earth goes to a therapist because it allows you to really work through those issues so you can find clarity and have the relationships that you deeply want. So if you're interested in giving it a try, I highly suggest better help. Because it's so freaking easy. You just go online, you fill out a question, and they match you with a therapist that fits what you're looking for. You can schedule times online according to your schedule, and you can even try different therapists out with no additional charge. H-E-L-P.comsahara and you can find that link in the show notes and the guidance. It's interesting how you mentioned that feeling of being, like, choked and strangled, because I know a lot of people who have the throat chakra blockage feel that, the feeling of feeling clawed. For me, it's always groups of people coming against me. So, like, I had this experience that I've had multiple experiences of being canceled online. And, like, if I go into the fear of what it is. It's when groups of people don't like me, me, they're gonna kill me. And that's the witch wound, which I guarantee in a past life. The mob, you know, came against me, decided to have their trial.
Yeah.
And burnt me at the stake or smushed me or all of the different tactics.
Smushing was a serious tactic.
It really was. Yeah. Because they would say, oh, if she is a witch, we're gonna put this, like, thousand pound stone on her. And if she's a witch, it's not gonna kill her. But if it kills her, she was human. Well, it's too late.
Both ways.
Yeah. Or they would tie up your arms and legs and then throw you off the cliff. Because if she's a witch, she's going to fly away. And if she drowns, she's human. It's like all these crazy things and I mean, it's. It still actually happens.
Yeah. And one of those was the iron chair. And they would literally vaginally mutilate people with something called the pear of anguish, which was a hot fire poker that they would put into a fire and. And then inside of your body and it opened like this and then they would rip it out. And then they would take you bleeding and wounded and sit you down on an iron chair and say, oh, look, she's screaming. Witches can't touch iron. And blame you for that, despite the massive, gaping wound that's hidden behind your large or underneath your large skirts. So, yeah, it happened a lot of ways and it was really an atrocious time. And, you know, that is why it takes so much courage to be doing what we're doing and why I'm so fucking grateful I get to walk by women like you and that we get to just like roll through crazy places that are literally filled with the witch hunters being our full selves and being who we truly are. And it's. Man, like, I would not be doing anything else.
It's so funny because now I'm just having this realization of my biggest wound was groups of people not liking me. And then here I just was at Davos, like, and that thought didn't even come to mind. I was like, of course I'm going to be wearing the hot pink Legally Blonde everything outfit and talking to every single person about what their past lives and dreams and why wouldn't I? And it so just shows how that. That we really can overcome those wounds. Whereas kind of my edge right now with the witch wound is in dating and relationship of if I'm my full magical self, I will be too much for a man and. And I'll be single forever. Which is like totally coming from my lineage of powerful woman, spiritual woman. Were deemed as unmarriageable and instead you had to be kind of bland and, you know, serving of your husband because God forbid she's in her full power, you know? And I even witnessed myself this year on my single journey of, like, ways that I would, like, limit my expression a little bit if there was someone I was talking to and he was on my Instagram or I would block my stories from the person because I wouldn't want them to see my stories. But. And I was just like, why would I be in a relationship with someone who I can't post? Like, I post weird things on my stories, but it's like, that's who I am.
Yeah. You know, if someone can't take you in your raccoon, they don't get you in your mermaid.
Exactly. If you don't watch Love on the spectrum, then you're not for me.
Like, you know, sorry. So.
So what advice do you have for someone who maybe right now it's like, okay, someone who feels like, if I'm my full magical self, I'll never find a man who accepts all of me.
I'm going to use a quote that my coach, Melanie Wild, gave to me and she was like, how could the mother not create a perfect match for you?
You.
How could she not do that? Like, can you believe that she wouldn't. That someone who devotes themselves to being all of who they are and is wild and is. Or wild in their way. Right. Like free, but doing the work and. And striving for that dharmic fulfillment? How in what universe would the creative force of all existence not want to create a match or a union for that level of personal devotion? Like, of course she would want to bring something that mirrors and synergizes with that energy. And that has definitely been a really beautiful, empowering statement for me because, like, yes, and I told you this is one of the things, like when I was manifesting Bear, I would say to myself, if I exist, exist, he exists. If I exist, he exists and I exist. And I really just like, had even just such a beautiful moment with myself today where I was like, I fucking love who I am. I love being this version of myself. Do I still put my foot in my mouth sometimes? Yes. Do I fuck up and make mistakes? Do I get too angry or frustrated or short tempered about things? Or am I impatient? You know, we were freaking out when I couldn't figure out the rental car. I was like hearing all my little inner child wounds and my dad's voice punishing me for making a bad choice. Turned out it was fine. I didn't do a rental car. That was a scam. It's okay. I didn't have to punish myself. And you were super grounded and held it down for me in that moment. I still fuck up all the time, but I am fucking obsessed with who I am. I worked so hard to give the little tiny girl inside of me permission to be this queen and to be free in her wild nature, to say what she really thinks and feels, to build the kind of business that I'm proud of. And that feels so magical. Life is. It doesn't just feel magical, it is magical. I watch miracles occur all the time. And that to me is the most devotional thing we can do in the world, is cultivate our own divinity within, all around us and connected to this infinite life force of creation. And I know, I trust and have so much faith that those of us who are walking that path and doing that work, the mother or God, goddess, universal consciousness and divine is going to create a match for you. Because that is the kind of magic, that is the kind of synergy that creates evolution and transformation and growth and light and beauty and what I think we all are seeking and what ultimately the universe is also seeking in its existence. And so I know, I know that those people exist and I know that that is the path that we're all heading on. And sometimes it does take, you know, a year or three of celibacy to, to attract that. And, and it's okay because we continue showing ourselves. Like you're worth that.
Major bars and everything you just said that was phenomenal. And you're so right. It's like God. The universe never makes mistakes, you know, and. And sometimes I think we're so impatient in our society because it's a lot of that air energy through technology. It's like instant and download it, get on your phone, Uber eats it, it's here. And that's not how nature works. Nature takes its time. It goes slow. There's certain preparation, right? You can't go from winter to summer. You need the spring, you need to plant the seeds, you need to water it, you need to let it grow, you need to have certain things flourish. You didn't seven figure business overnight. You needed to learn how to have a five figure business and a six figure business and a multiple six figure business. And hold those levels of things before moving on. And I think that sometimes we are so obsessed with manifesting something, but instead we should look at can I hold that thing? Because someone can hand you, you know, a million dollar check like they do in the lottery, and most people lose it, but someone, you could take away all my money from me. Today I will learn. I will know how to become a millionaire again because it's in me, you know? So I think we just need to trust the process.
Trust, flow, surrender, let go.
Another song I have is just the process, just the goddess. Trust the unknown.
I'm so obsessed with this girl, you guys. It's so crazy, like, how much I fangirl literally one of my best friends. Like, I am just like, you're so cool. I can't believe I also want to.
Give a shout out to that affirmation. I think we should all just say it out loud of I am obsessed with who I am. That's a really good one. Yeah, Just, I am obsessed with myself. I'm obsessed with who I am. I'm obsessed with who I've become. And it's like, we should be like, yeah, that.
And people are like, oh, you're selfish and, oh, you're narcissistic. I'm like, bro, I. I'm the only one that has me, really. I'm the only one that can do anything for myself, fully and wholly and completely. Why would I not be obsessed with myself? It's actually a disservice service for me to not be obsessed with myself. I deserve. If nobody else is going to be obsessed with me, like, let me do it for myself. Like, let my little girl feel like we both, you know, in our first podcast together, we talk so much about being bullied as little girls and being cast out and people thinking that we're too much or that our magic is weird or that we're, you know, like, ugly or whatever, like too much of anything or not enough of whatever. I owe it to that little girl for someone to feel obsessed with her. Let it be me, because I will be the most integrous and the most genuine and the most devotional in my obsession with myself. And it will be because of the way that we're doing it and how we cultivate it. It will be healthy and it will be kind, and it will be the result of deep work and commitment to allowing that little person to thrive and shine. So, like, yeah, I am obsessed with my.
I love what you said of we owe it to the little girls inside of ourselves who no one was obsessed with them, you know? And I just remember being a little girl and thinking I was so ugly. I was like, I'm just an ugly person. Like, I'm ugly. I'm fat. Boys don't like me. My parents are fighting all the time, and it just sucked, you know? And like, to now, like, look at my life and it's like. And that little girl is still in me. The times that, you know, you, like, like get a cold sore or something and this. And you're like, I'm so ugly again. And it's like, to remind yourself, it's like, who the I am.
Yeah.
Like, I created this. And it's not even the external. It's like the internal. Like, I created this mind that I live in.
Yeah.
You know, these thoughts that I have, because I didn't always have these thoughts. My thoughts before were a lot of. Well, my parents think, I can't do this. It's never going to work. I'm none of that. It's like, I created this new mental landscape that I get to live in through questioning my beliefs, through being honest with myself, through when I feel those lonely pings or whatever the thing is, like, sitting with it. And now I get to live in this. This more beautiful, abundant mind. Is it perfect either? Do I never have those thoughts? No. Of course. I up all the time too. We all do. But the set point gets higher and higher and higher. And it's like. And I trust the goddess because I'm like, look, I manifested you. And like, we have such amazing friends.
I know.
And I never had to, like, go on an app to find you guys. I never had to, like, like, force myself to go out and, like, hope I, like, bump into you on a bar or something.
We met at a ritual.
Yeah, we met at a ritual. We met because we were living our dharmas. We were earlier in our journeys of them. But we were like, we. We were a vibrational match. And it's like, so to trust that, like, the right partner will meet you at the right time, and the. The right person who might introduce you to your literary agent ends up becoming your book. And. And all of these things, it's like, we need to have the preparation to also then be able to like you. You meet the literary agent. Can you write the book right now? Are you living the book? Totally. You know, you meet the person. Have you done the inner work to. To hold the relationship. So I think all these things are so important. So intuition. You talk a lot about signs and, like, being in Conversation with not just Earth, but, like, numbers and like, everything around us. So how can we start to be more in conversation with the universe to see if we are in the right alignment?
Well, that is a great question and something that is deeply explored in intuition. And what it is, is such a collection of signs of this symbolic language of the universe. Because the universe doesn't speak English. It doesn't speak Farsi, it doesn't speak Spanish. It speaks. Speaks in symbols and in colors and in animals and in plants, even, like, the way that the leaves on these plants or the way that, like, the fur on a cat. All of that is the universe creating and expressing in all of its myriad ways. And so there's so many different ways that we can learn to communicate, but I explore some. One of the chapters in intuition is called Everything is Information. Everything is divination. And it's all about how everything in our lives, like, even, you know, the mermaid palace color scheme, right? It's about what those colors make you feel. When people are into angel numbers or numerology or the life path numbers, each of those numbers has an archetype. Zero is the void. It's the nothingness. One is the first thing that is born from the nothing. It's that first step. It's that visionary, confident energy that creates. Two is the first separation, but it's the balance. It's harmony in that way. And each of the numbers has these archetypal significances that we can utilize to understand. Oh, what does that mean for me right now in this moment? The same with how I've learned or created so much in my life through different shapes of crystals. Like, I tell this story all the time, but I made all of these. I made a crystal grid in my bed when I was calling in Bear, and I gridded the left side of my bed with obelisks, which is the. Or, excuse me. I gritted the right side, the masculine side with obelisks, and I gritted the left side side with spheres. So the left side's the feminine side. And the first time Bear walked into my house, he goes, oh, are those all obelisks? And I was like, yes, as a matter of fact, they are. And he's like, oh, that's so cool. I just had a reading the other day that. And the woman told me that my symbol is an obelisk.
Wow.
I'm like, cool. That's excellent, bro. You know, and. And so there are so many ways that. Because this is how the universe expresses, and this is how the universe understands communication and language, if we use that same language that the universe uses, then we are able to have this reciprocal dialogue with it, and we're able to say, hey, this is something that I want to call in more of. Or, this is something that I'm clearing out of my life. Or this is a totem animal like you with the dolphins that I'm invoking the spirit of into my existence. I'm going to have more play and more fun with my pod in that literally and figuratively in that way that the dolphins do. And so intuition is a beautiful collection of wisdom that has supported me. There's a lot of reference, like, ways you can go back. It's also parts of the body. So if you have any illness, any disease, any pain in specific parts of the body. Each part of our body has a message and has significance. That's chapter five, body language. And so there's really, really just so many different. She just opened to the body scan.
I literally. I wanted to just, like, use. Because it's a great book. She uses an oracle. So I was like, I wonder what it has. And it's like, intuition body scan. I'm like, yep, it's listening.
Yeah, it really is, y'. All, this book is so wild. I was, like, leading a Leo full moon ritual yesterday, and I was like, let me just see. And I opened the book to the Leo page. I'm like, okay, thank you.
It reminds me of In Hocus Pocus. Oo.
Yeah.
When she opens up the book and the lights come on. Yeah. It says Intuition, body scan. When interpreting body language, remember to ask these questions. Inspiration. What is life asking me to breathe through in my body? Interpretation. What deeper message is concealed in this experience? In service. How would following through on this guidance be in service to me and the world? Nature. How is your true nature being revealed in the moment? O love it. You have so many good. Like, this is just such a good book to just, like, have on your coffee table because there's so many practices.
Yeah.
There's so much just like, references of, like, let's say you're like, I don't know, I keep seeing this number. Or like, I'm really resonating with, like, Scorpio people. Or, like. And then you can, like, look up what it means in the book, and it's so helpful.
Yeah. It was originally going to be an oracle deck, too, and then we change. The oracle deck is. Is now a little different, but. But the book is like an oracle deck in its way, too. You can flip to almost any page. Of course, There is a narrative arc that you read, and there's so many stories from my personal life and experiences, but you can really flip. Every single chapter has rituals and practices that you can do at the end. It's a really practical guide to utilizing what a lot of people don't know. The Law of correspondence. There's 12 universal laws, laws. One that we're all familiar with is the Law of Attraction. But the Law of Correspondence states as above, so below, as within, so without. And intuition is really a deep exploration of that law of Correspondence and how we can utilize that idiom of as above, so below, and as within, so without to truly communicate with the universe and allow it to then receive what we desire and support us in manifesting it. Because, you know, we really need the universe's support. Support because it's got a much more infinite intelligence than we could ever possibly possess. And. And so it's been really a profound journey for me of studying this language. And it's so pre. You know, even our. Our something that I mentioned, my favorite. One of my favorite books of all time is called Alphabet versus the Goddess. And it was this amazing man, a surgeon, the head of surgery, actually, at the clinic where I had all of my microsurgery done on my hand when I was in an accident, which the whole story of is. Is in the Body Language Channel chapter and how that had significance for me. And Leonard Schlane wrote this book called Alphabet versus the Goddess. And he talks about how when we changed from symbolic pictographic language, the way that a picture of a snake meant snake, or a drawing of a bird meant bird, but it could also mean that slithering energy, that connection to the earth, or that flight, that higher perspective, these symbols, the way that we say a picture is worth a thousand words, these symbols had so much meaning and significance. Significance. And when we change from symbolic, pictographic or hieroglyphic language into abstract language, which is this symbol means this. And when you put this symbol next to this symbol, next to this symbol, it means this thing. But if you mix up the order of those symbols, it means something completely different. It takes very abstract thinking to even process written language the way that we do now. And so the side. The hemisphere of our brains that we utilized to process our reality shifted. And his theory is that that's when we went matriarchal and goddess and polytheistic into patriarchal and monotheistic, because we literally changed from using the feminine side of our brains into the masculine side of our brains. And so. And that's actually a funny part of the story for me and how I really started to learn and understand intuition and the language of the universe was that I hurt my arm when I was in high school. My left arm, my feminine side, 60 of my arm was ground away in a car accident and they fixed with my right side my latissimus muscle. It's literally called like your sword wielding arm, your right arm and, and your sword muscle. That's things that it was referred to back in history. And so my damsel in distress, my wounded feminine needed my masculine side to come in and protect and provide for her, but thereby wounding the masculine in return. And I watched this like interplay of what my body was telling me and it was so, so mind blowing. And I'd never heard anything like that before. And it all just came to me and I, I really was inspired to dive deeper into understanding all of these aspects of the body and, and that's what really led me on a journey that then it was colors and numbers and signs and shapes and symbols and animals and all of the different ways, you know, like we kept seeing that beautiful octopus, like all the different ways that the universe communicates with us all the time. And the original form of divination was in nature was how nature communicated to us through the animals, through the elements. And that is really the oldest science on earth. So it's a beautiful modern approach to a practice that our species has been engaged in since the beginning of our consciousness.
It's so beautiful. And you're so right. When I was in Egypt looking at the hieroglyphic, it would speak to me. It was telling me the story, but it was like the story that I needed to hear with the hieroglyphic. Whereas if you look at like Roman text, it doesn't speak to you. You're just like, oh, this is just some language I don't understand. But symbology, it's like you have your own interpretation of it. Like the way that you see a cat is differently than how I see a cat. The way that you see a leaf is how I differently how I see a leaf. Then we can order them in different ways. If I do do leaf, cat, octopus is different than octopus, cat, leaf. You know, it's like all these different ways that we can, we can communicate. And it's like I just feel that God, the universe is always giving us these winks. You know, it's these little winks. And the octopus references, some of you guys have heard the story. But this summer I was working with one of my students, and she was telling me that, like, she had the symbol of, like, a rainbow and a butterfly. If, like, her man was coming soon, I was like, oh, that's like, a good idea. I should do that, too. Okay. If I'm going to meet my man soon on octopus, and if not, and just buckle up. You're going to be single for a while. Raccoon.
Yeah.
I started seeing raccoons everywhere, like, to the point that, like, my friend, literally, I told her about it. She was my friend in London, and she's sitting at a coffee shop, and they bring her a matcha latte with raccoon art on the lot. I was like, okay, buckle up. I'm being single for a while. Which was accurate because that was last August, and I'm still single. But it was just saying, like, embrace this.
Embrace this.
And it's funny, because I literally chose the two most random animals I could think of. Like, you don't see octopuses and raccoons.
On a daily basis.
So then I was just. But, like, there was even something to why did I choose the raccoon? The raccoon, it's, like, kind of mischievous. It's in the dark. It's. It's in the shadows.
People.
People are scared of raccoons. You know, people are like, ew, raccoon. They're actually so freaking cute.
They're adorable. They're adorable hands. They're very polite.
Oh, my God, they're so good with their hands. And they're like. They're cuddly, and they're, like, chubby, and they're like. They, like, wanted to rub their bellies. I'm, like, obsessed with raccoons now, and it was like a me becoming friends with my darkness.
You becoming obsessed with yourself and it being amazing.
Exactly.
I'm obsessed with your level of obsession with yourself.
Exactly. And so, like, the raccoons have become like, this, like, totem animal that you follow me on Instagram. You can see I daily post raccoon memes. Raccoon videos. I make my own raccoon memes now. Now I'm like, I can't get into a relationship because I'm, like, so involved with the raccoon. Like, I literally have, like, raccoon shirts. Like, I dressed up like a raccoon for Halloween. I was a sexy raccoon. Like, even when my place got broken into in London, like, they took my jewelry, but they opened my closet. Just a bunch of raccoon paraphilia. This girl's a freak. It's like, we'll take jewelry, but we'll leave you. Yeah. They were like, we're gonna leave right now. We're scared of her.
Good idea.
But then more recently, I. We're literally driving through the Swiss app, middle of nowhere. It's just a giant billboard of an octopus.
Not even a billboard. It was like a side of a building. It was, like, on our drive every single day into Davos, like, there's, like, octopus.
I was like, oh, wow. Like, and the whole time in London, I wanted to see the octopus because I wanted to meet a British guy. And it was like, no, bitch, you're doing the raccoons. And now I'm like, I love raccoons. It's like, octopus. I'm like, no, no. Yeah, so I need a raccoon. A puss.
Ooh, that's a weird thing. But that's, you know, that's how it works. And that's what's such a gift about being attuned and aware and being able to listen is like, oh, yeah, okay, here's the communication. And I can't. You can't force it. You can never. For the symbol or the sign to come. And it's so fun when it does, because then it surprises you, and it's the universe playing with you. Like, really, we have to think about, yes, we are divine and we are gods, but we are literally the tiny, little microscopic bacteria on the skin of this beautiful, sacred planet that is circling this giant ball of fire in her own neighborhood, in her vibe with all of her peers and her moon and all of her friends around her. You know, we have no idea. Like, we can't fully conceptualize of the type of consciousness that exists in this universe. And that's why when it does give us these little signs and these little nods and these little nudges, it's like, oh, wow, I'm connected to that. It's connected to me. Like, it's showing up here for me right now. What an incredible gift. And. And that's just. You know, I want to give people that delight and also empower them to be able to respond and communicate in return and say, like, okay, actually, I'm super down with being single, so, like, here's my raccoon altar, you know, and have fun with it, because it is. It's meant to be fun. You know, it's meant to be enjoyed.
Yeah. Sometimes when I'm, like, getting these signs, I'm like, wow, it's so amazing how spiritual is, like, protecting all of us.
Yeah.
Like, I'M like, how do you have the time? You know, it's like the fact that every single person is getting the signs for them. Not one person is excluded. A lot of people don't listen. A lot of people don't know about it, but it's there. It's always there. And, like, once it's like, on people's deathbed, then they. They start to notice. And if you really sit down with most people, they're picking up on some signs. I think most people right now notice angel numbers, et cetera. And it's like, that's just the beginning, but it runs deep. Like, you can just me, like, give requests of like, send me this animal or that animal. Show me this or that. It always responds back.
Always. Yeah. And that's a really great way to do it, is one or the other, right? Is like, show me this for this, and show me this for that. And I love the way that you. You. You said that. And it is like, it's uncommon to see the octopus, right? And you got this powerful confirmation from the little raccoons. And so that's a great practice to use. Use with. Whether it's anything from intuition or just symbols in your own life is. And. And that's a great way to connect with your intuition even more deeply, too, is like, what is the color? Like, what's a yes for me? What's a no for me? What is a this is right? You know, I used this with a client once. She really was, like, having trouble connecting with different people and friends. And I was like, okay, well, I want you to tune in with your body, and this practice is in intuition. And I was like, tune in with your body. And what is. Like, what is the color that makes you feel like a full yes to connect with someone? She's like, orange. And she, you know, was hanging out, doing some things the other day, and she was like, oh, you know, I felt this. I felt this person, and their energy was just like. It was just not orange. It was kind of like I just couldn't get a read. And she's like. And then I met this other girl, and she was just orange. Like, her whole vibe and aura was orange. And she. She's like. And a few months later, the girl who she didn't get a color vibe from ended up just, like, talking shit about her and causing all this drama. And then the orange girl was, like, the one who was there for her through it and so supportive of her. And she'd known that that girl was gonna be this powerful Friend because she'd asked for that sign. That worked for her. You know, you get to ask for the ones that work for you.
I really like that. Of picking up and noticing the color aura. And that's a good thing for dating, too. Of like. Like, what, like, Auric feel do I get of this person? And is that the color I want to be basking in? You know, if someone has a very red aura, do you want red in your life? You know, red for some people is like, passion and lust, and red for other people is danger.
Yeah.
You know, so it's like. It's a strong energy, you know? We have our Manifest yout magic series on YouTube, which I'm gonna link below. But we played this really fun game.
Oh, my gosh, that game was so fun.
This intuition game. So had on the back of these cards, which we had someone else write them for us. Different animals and different numbers. And then so we pulled a random card that, you know, I didn't see Mia's card. She didn't see my card. And then I was telepathically sending her what the animal or the number was. And you will link that video specifically as well below. But it was amazing because we started to pick up on it.
At first, we were getting them all.
Wrong, but then we started to look. Learn. How do our intuitions communicate to each other? By the end, we were, like, getting.
Like, crushing it wolf.
Like, random ones, like, knowing, like, it was like, one to ten. We're like ten. Like, we knew the same one. Because at first we were trying to pick up on, like, how do I. What do I think? You know? And then we realized, no, it's a read. So it's like, how do. How do our radio frequencies harmonize? And I think that's, like, in life, right? That's, like, what manifestation really is. It's like, I might want to be in a relationship, but it's like, how does my vibration match with this other person's vibration? How do we both sync up in the timing? I might want to be an entrepreneur, but how does my vibration and the vibration of the book I want to write? Like, it's. It's a synchronization. Totally happens.
And that's what's so interesting about, like, oh, maybe I want to be something, or I want this thing. I want to be an entrepreneur. It's also like, like, what is that? What is preventing me from doing or being that thing? What are the beliefs that I have? And then how can I ask the universe to help me understand what are the blocks in my way? What are the things that are hindering me from receiving or manifesting or attracting that partnership or that relationship? Like, that's been such a beautiful thing to watch you do is like, really processing through all of the past, all of the. All of the programs that we receive from our parents and from our past relationships, and knowing that all of those things are pieces that you get to work on in order to then magnetize the kind of partnership that is aligned to the version of you who's worked through those things rather than continuing to attract the same old patterns again. You know, we also synchronize with ourselves and again, with our true nature and with our wild side and with our divine essence. And when we do that, it's so much easier to. To attract whatever it is that we want because we're also clear and the field is in resonance.
So beautifully said. You are such a powerful order. I love listening to you speak. It inspires me. Even though I get to hear you all the time, I just love it. It jazzes me up. So thank you for being on this podcast. Thank you for being bold. I mean, this girl literally walks around the streets in a witch hat. Like, this is the mantra we're all taking after this podcast. I am obsessed with myself. I am obsessed with myself. You should be obsessed with yourself. You are obsessed with yourself.
