This is a podcast episode titled "588: How To Spot Karmic Cycles + The 3 Types of Relationships with Rosie Acosta," recorded in early 2025. It features a conversational discussion between Sahara Rose and her best friend Rosie Acosta about spirituality, karmic relationships, soulmates, twin flames, and personal experiences with relationship patterns and ancestral karma. The episode also includes promotional content for Sahara Rose's spiritual coaching programs and courses. The conversation is deep, personal, and explores themes of healing, liberation, and self-awareness within relationships.
Sometimes as souls, we're like, I love you so much that I'm going to be the villain in your story, because it's only through that you can become the version of you that you want to be. Now, here's the thing. We can move through karma quicker and with more ease.
Okay, tell me more.
I'm of the belief that you will come across various soulmates in your relationship.
Oh, you think so?
Multiples, yes. The twin flame thing is just one, but soulmates? You have multiple? Like, we are soulmates. Yeah, I believe for sure. My soul was like, damn, I'm so fucking lonely here in this harem. I got no one to talk to on Bella dancing. All, please give me a best friend, and I'd like her to be a Latina.
If you believe in soulmates, this is.
What I would say, what I'm learning right now. And I know this is different than what we said on last podcast. Okay, I've grown. This is what I'm gonna say now. Just flow sooner. Let go. I'm the one I've been waiting for. Welcome back to the Highest Self podcast. My name is Sahara Rose, and on this podcast, I love to talk about spirituality, but make it fun, modern, grounded, and relatable so it can actually serve your needs. So my bestie Rosie and I love to send a good 17 minute voice note to each other every single day, including today. But here we are still talking, you know, those kind of conversations where you just don't know what the answer is. I feel like this is. This is going to be today's conversation. Something I've been really thinking about are karmic loops that we have with people. Like, you know, certain people. You just bring out the best, the worst, or certain wounds or gifts within one another. So let's just take a moment to talk about what karma is. So karma is a Sanskrit word, Sanskrit, which essentially means action. So it is the action that is related to the actions of our lives. So in relation to living our soul's purpose, it is when we do not live our soul's purposes, it's that tap, tap, tap, nudge, nudge, nudge, punch, punch, punch, saying, hey, shitty things are gonna happen until you live your soul's purpose. Now, karmic relationships are those relationships that really teach us the lessons that our soul needs to learn to help us become who we signed up to become on this planet. So oftentimes they begin really hot and heavy. There's so much passion. You may actually experience a lot of synchronicities that are guiding you together, and you may play out a beautiful relationship. It could be a toxic relationship, could be somewhere in between. But often it's in the ending of the relationship that the true lessons of it come through. So whether it was through betrayal or heartbreak or unworthiness or whatever that was, and often it's going to be that next code that you needed to get to the version of you that you could have only become through the relationship. So karma exists in everything. You know, everything that we do has a karmic reaction. And we also come into this planet with our own karma. So that is related to our past lives, our ancestral lineage, the different lessons that our soul did not complete, that it came through on this planet saying, hey, I'm going to come on this planet and learn unconditional love. And once I've mastered unconditional love, then I'm going to learn boundaries. And then once I've learned boundaries, well, then I'm going to go into discernment. And, you know, sometimes the lessons can even juxtapose each other of, like, wait, I thought I was supposed to learn to be completely hard, open to everyone, but now I got to practice that energetic discernment. And I find it's like, it takes us on this ping pong, like, often on this, like, overall theme of our lives. So I've sort of picked up that the theme of my life is liberation. So really to move through liberation of a lot of societal, familial, and stress, ancestral bonds. So for me, wherever it is in my life, whether it is, can I make money doing what I love, can I have a. A relationship that I feel actually met, can I have friendships that I actually feel? For me, it's always the path of liberation, of not actually listening to what society says and paving my own path, even though I have zero evidence of it. And I kind of sound delulu talking about it, but I can feel in my soul that it's possible. And I'm kind of like going into the dark and often go getting into these karmic situations that help me have the mastery within myself to eventually achieve this level, this level of awareness that I could have only gotten through going through the karma. So let's dive more into it. I would love to introduce you to my bestie, Rosie Acosta. She's on this podcast every single month. This is the last month, actually, before I'm heading over to Dubai for the unforeseeable future. Let's go. Clearly, I got some karma there. And so I'm going to Dubai to Learn some new lessons going back to the motherland, the Middle east, where my family is from. And it's so interesting because Dubai is just across the Persian Gulf from exactly where my mother's ancestors are from. And so this is our last potty pod for a while now, which is very sad. Had. So what about our way to get into it than to talk about some past life shit? And before we drop into this episode, be sure to hit subscribe wherever you're listening to this podcast. To the Highest Self podcast that didn't give real sadness, though.
I think I'm down with the black lung. Name that movie. Do you know it?
No, I don't.
Zoolander. I was like the queen of quoting Zoolander in high schoolander.
How old were you when it came out?
I was in high school or maybe even middle school, but it was like the thing. Also elf. That was my yearbook quote.
Stop. Yeah, which one?
It was like, like, you're my favorite. You're all my favorite. Something around that. I don't know. We all did elf quotes. Like our friends. We were like way too cool for school. Elf quotes. So, karma, what do you think about it?
So I guess my question is. I've asked you a question. Okay, fine. Okay, whatever. Yeah, I want to just clarify the question because do you believe in karma? I do to a point. I think because I think that karma and the way that you described it, especially studying yoga for many years. I do believe that there are certain lessons or certain paths that we have to go through, certain journeys that we have to experience in order for us to continue to grow and to burn away those karmas so that we don't repeat them. Right. Whether you believe in the afterlife or not. I do, depending on the day, believe in rebirth. I think that we do essentially have the soul that. That does come back in a way. But I do think that there are some lessons that are definitely meant to be learned in this lifetime. But I also think that if you look at it in the terms that you just described then wouldn't that mean that every single relationship in your life is karmic?
Good question. What do you think?
Well, I think it is. I think that every, every relationship is here to teach you something and, and ultimately to teach you something about yourself, how you see the world, how you relate to yourself, how you show up in the world. All of those things are implicit to lessons that you've learned or, or haven't learned, right? Like those repetitive things. I mean, you talked about it just now. You said in romantic relationships and in friendships. So for you, have you noticed certain patterns that continue to repeat themselves in friendships?
For example, if you're someone that is naturally an empath, likely you were very sensitive as a child. You were picking up on the energy of all the members of your family, and you're like, hey, there's some patterns going on here, but you're not really sure how to integrate that into your career. But maybe wherever you work, you're the one who everyone comes to when they have a problem. And you spend your free time listening to podcasts about spirituality, diving into personal development, books, workshops, having really deep conversations, going on retreats, but you're ready to take the next step. Maybe you've done something like a yoga teacher training or a breathwork facilitator training, but you want to dive deeper. You want to actually talk to people, understand their lives, and help support them in becoming their highest selves. And maybe one day you see yourself writing a book, speaking on stages, hosting your own podcast. Maybe having me on your podcast one day. Well, if I'm speaking to your soul right now, it's because I'm speaking to a very specific group of people. And these are people who are visionaries, These are people who are trailblazers. These are people who are here to help assist in the shift of consciousness that is happening right now at this time that is so needed in 2025. So if this is you, I'm speaking to you specifically right now, and it's time for you to really start taking action on this. Because the truth is, another year can pass where you hide your spiritual gifts in the closet, and it's time for you to actually begin to share them. And I know you may be wondering, well, how do I start? Well, this is why I've created the first ever six month spiritual life coach certification at my school Highest Self Institute. That is the most advanced spiritual life coaching certification on the market. So we dive deep into the Highest Self method, where you learn how to connect with your breath, your body and you and your clients highest selves, you're going to deep dive into ancestral wisdom, divination, different forms of healing from using the breath, body, nervous system and beyond, connecting to Ayurveda dharma, different forms of ancient and indigenous wisdom, and bringing it all together into actually creating a career where you serve as a spiritual life coach and then can take that on into writing books, podcast speaking and more. So at my school, Highest Self Institute, we have graduated over 3,000 different types of coaches, sole purpose coaches, embodiment coaches, and this is our first ever time really diving deep. For six months, I'll be on the call live as well as Dr. Anita every single week guiding you. We're going to have peer coaching sessions, practice coaching sessions. You're going to be receiving feedback. This is actually a live and moving container. So it's not like one of those courses you buy online and never log into again. But it's actually something where we're going to be holding you accountable to make sure that in six months from now, like this summer, you are going to have an entirely different career should you choose it or you can just dive into it for your own personal enrichment. So I'm so excited that doors are open right now for our Certified Spiritual Life Coach certification at the Highest Self Institute Institute. If you're interested, you're curious, you want to explore the curriculum, we have everything listed below. If you go on highesthelpinstitute.com you can find the direct link in the show notes and you can also book a free one on one discovery call with someone from our team to answer any of your questions, see how it can integrate into your specific career, ask questions about the curriculum and reserve your spot. So I'm so excited to get to know you on the call, to have you in our community and to hopefully, inshallah, one day, have you on this podcast. So find that link in the show notes and I'm so excited to dive in deeper with you. What kind of intuition do you have? I ask this because I realized through having this podcast that everyone's intuition speaks to them differently. Some of us just know things that you know. You're talking to someone, you just know something about them, it makes no sense and you just say it. They're like, how'd you know that?
You're like, I don't know.
That's the claircognizant. Some of us, we're, we're visual people. We see dreams, we have an image in our mind, we do visualizations. It really comes to us maybe in an Art form. That's the clairvoyant. Some of us are feelers. We're talking to someone and we feel this like ache or pit in our stomach or maybe a clenching in our shoulders. And we can just feel something is off in our bodies. That's the clairsentient. And some of us hear things. We hear a voice in our head saying go do something or say something or make something known. That is a Claire audience. So if you're wondering what your type of intuition is, I have created a free quiz where you can figure it out and learn how you can create a career really honoring this unique type of intuition. Because the truth is your intuition is a gift. It's not here to make you crazy, but rather it is something that you are here to share and experience with other people and it's your superpower. So head over to the link in my show notes to discover what your type of intuition is and how to make it part of your career. So before we get into the friendships, I'd love to talk about the distinction of the different kinds of romantic relationships. Okay. So I feel that there are kind of like passing by relationships that happen that it's like, you know, you cross each other's paths and it just never really was anything of meaning. There wasn't a lot of heart and substance, but you know, a lot of like situationships or just like short term relationships or something like that. And, and that's so many of what's happening today. Then I feel there are karmic relationships and that's often a very significant relationship where there is a magnetic pull that brought you together because the karma needs to be played out because we need to burn off karma from previous lifetimes, you know. So when I say burn off karma, what I mean is let's say my soul needed to learn how to walk away from betrayal. And many, for example in my lineage, you know, my family comes from Iran. It's is it was the norm for men to have multiple wives. You know, my grandparents only had one, but all other before that, my great grandparents and all more the men had multiple wives at the same time. And so it was always this competition amongst the woman of who's going to be the most loved, who's going to be chosen. And also this fear of like being replaced by someone who's younger than you and then she's the apple of the eye. And then her children become the most important children in the house. So it was always the woman giving a hundred because they're trying to hold the Man's attention and him giving 10 to each, you know, and so that exists very, very, very deep in my lineage and for all, like, Middle Eastern and Muslim people. So knowing that about myself, which I didn't never really dove into until the infidelity in my own relationship that I'm like, how did I not know about this? And I saw that it was this karmic relationship where I needed to, in this lifetime, be the first woman in my lineage to say, no, I will not stand for this. And the moment that I found out about the infidelity, instead of what probably all the women in my family before would have done, waited, tried to make it work, you know, hoped one day things are gonna change. I knew the next day this is done, and I'm getting a divorce. Which was a major closing, a major karmic loop for my lineage, because no woman in my family has ever even had the opportunity to do that. But also, many women today don't do that. Yeah, because it's hard to lose your life partner, your home, the friends you've created, your sen of identity. It's so hard to do that. And I understand why a lot don't. But then you stay stuck in the same karmic loop, and guess what happens? I mean, we all know this around cheating. Someone who cheats on you, once you forgive them, they're going to do it again. 99.999% of the time, it's gonna happen again. Because that thing, it's like, again, sometimes it can. It can change. Most of the time, what I've seen and especially seeing in my own lineage changes for a little bit until something. Something comes back. Because that person never learned the lesson of, like, losing you. They never learned the lesson of, like, having to go through the pain. Some very few people actually go through the pain that it caused that person and take ownership and responsibility for it and really sit with it and have the empathy for it. Most are just like, okay, I got away from it. Okay, I'm not gonna do that again. I'm pushing that away until that same exact temptation which created that first temptation comes back up. So karmic loops come in this. Karmic loops come in. You know, in a lot of families, men being alcoholics, the woman having to, you know, a lot of Hispanic families, it's more that the women have to be the providers. The women have to be the leaders. The women have to be the ones taking care of the kids and the household and paying for the alcoholic husband. So for a lot of women It's a subconscious attraction. It's like you can sniff out who came from an alcoholic family without even knowing. It's like you can sniff it out in their energy field. Just like if you came from an emotionally unavailable family, you can almost sniff it out in the energy field who else came from that background? Because the karma wants to be cleared, so there's no running away from our karma. The only way is to go head first. However, it doesn't have to be as bad. And that's what I have found of, like, it doesn't have to be necessarily that you're left with kids and, like, to go to that extreme, that it maybe was like that for your lineage, but it could have been. And what a blessing that you found out before you had children, before you were in a relationship, or even if you did have children and were married, you have the ability to walk away. And I always believe that we find out about things when we're ready or we get the strength for things when we're ready. And that's when the karmic cycle is ready to be completed. But it takes a lot of courage, lots of courage. And I feel a lot of people are like, well, I'm just gonna follow the path of least resistance. And that's not what we can do with karma, you know, because the ultimate path of least resistance is what's gonna create the life that you have the most flow in might not be in the moment. Because with karma, you. You know, if you imagine your. Your ideal pathway, you've gone off an exit. You're far away from that ideal pathway right now. And the further along, you've not been listening to yourself. You've been lying to yourself. You've been gaslighting yourself. You may have been gaslit and lied to as well. The further away from it, you are. So it feels unchartered territories. It feels scary. It feels like you're dying. It feels like all of these things to even try to go back to this version of you you've never even experienced before, you know? And I feel like that's what's so hard about karmic loops, is you're like, literally, I don't even know another way of being. I've never seen another way of being. I've never seen a fa. My family in another way of being. So you're literally trusting into this unknown that feels like Santa Claus, feels like Deluland, and it's just like living your dharma. Yeah, it may be, you know, but the only ones who end up Doing it are the ones that trust, you know? So I know in my own journey, again, I don't know, I'm single. But what I do know is I'm not going to live in that karmic loop anymore.
Yeah, I mean, it sounds like a pretty grounded statement. I don't fully agree with everything that you said, but.
Okay, what do you not.
Yeah, I mean, because I. I feel like it. It kind of alleviates a little bit of responsibility and autonomy. Because if you really believe, like, I don't know, it's how much of this is just conditioning of what. You can look at it as karma. Yes. From a spiritual perspective, I'm down with that. But I think when it comes to behavioral, I think it's a lot more complex. I think we're just so complex, and I think ultimately we're so designed for selfish endeavors and just that's the way that we are conditioned to be, that we're just only thinking about ourselves and how we feel and what we need, et cetera, et cetera.
And.
And going to your explanation of. Of the lineage, like, I. I think there's something really substantial in that, especially with cultures. Right. Because it's like, it's kind of embedded into your DNA. It's like, this is what you go through. You don't get a choice. This is what you're doing. This is what your husband gets to do. And if you want to survive, you.
Will fall in line.
And as you know, people have children and as we come from those lineages, I think a lot of that is obviously cultural, and I do see the karmatic loop in that. But I also see people not knowing any better and just teaching their children, like, this is just what we do. And moving forward, like with Hispanic families, I think there's a lot more nuance than just like, women take care of their alcoholic husbands, obviously. Like, I think there's way more complexity in that. I know that I come from a family where, yeah, the women are the strongholds. Like, I come from very matriarchal family where the women were the ones that were, like, calling the shots, Right. They were the strong ones. They were the ones with making the decisions, taking care of the kids, working multiple jobs, like, just forging ahead. But when I think about it like a karmatic loop, how much of that is just the times changing and just our society changing, where we have a little bit more control over our finances, we have a little bit more autonomy over having careers, we have a little bit more autonomy over whether we want to have kids. Or not. You know, before it was like, we had no rights.
I hear you. And I see how, like, the fact that we have the ability to leave relationships that don't serve us plays a huge role. So is it that we're. We're alleviating karma, or is it that we have more opportunity? But I would say, then why is it that two people who grew up in the same school system in the same environment will happen to choose the trauma related to their lineage?
Yeah. Yeah.
Like, I in no way grew up. My dad never cheated on my mom. I didn't actually see it. Never saw it. It's not something that was normalized in my family whatsoever. No, my dad has never cheated on my mom. And no woman that I know in my, like, aunts and stuff like that that I was aware of did. But all of my great grandparents were of multiple. Of multiple wives. Did you.
Did you know of that growing up?
I'm just curious. I did not know that. I knew my grandma was in a child marriage, but I did not know that the men had multiple wives.
How does that affect you, though, knowing that?
I only found out about it after my divorce. I only found out today. I just shared with you the story of my grandfather. And, you know, his mom had a husband and child who passed away because their home burned down. And then she was forced to marry someone who stole her money and then got a second wife and left her and her son. And that was my grandfather. Like, that's not far away. My mom told me that this morning. I'm like, okay, no wonder shit's gone down the way. No, but this.
But this relates to your.
So then I'm like, it pieces together all of the things. Because this is the thing with ancestral healing. It's not necessarily your parents or your grandparents. It's deeper. It's beyond. And so some of us choose to incarnate, to do the deeper ancestral healing work that other people did not. I believe my soul had the strength to be able to handle what I did. And me standing up against this has been a trigger yet activator for every woman in my family of, like, well, you're actually going to leave him? Yeah, we've never seen this been done before. And, like, things like my mom, like, don't talk about it on your podcast. Don't, you know, share. And I'm like, why do we keep making excuses to hide the mistakes of men? Why do we keep having to silence ourselves and pretend everything's okay when we're being abused? You know? And what about what?
About women. Like our parents age, putting the blame on us. Like, oh, what did you do? Like, what did you do wrong? Right.
All the time.
And it's like.
And so it's hard for us because it's like we're coming head to head with thousands of years of conditioning. And so I do feel it's a simultaneous of. Yes. You were likely raised like that in your family. So there's like a psychological component, there's an epigenetic component that it's literally shifted your genealogy. And there's gotta be a spiritual component. You know, when. When I saw sitting with Wachuma plant medicine, I saw the full circle of wanting to sit with the medicine, leading me to my ex, going through that seven year cycle until, you know, he sits with the medicine, admits the cheating, and then a year and a half later, I sit with the medicine and it's like. And now the cycle is complete. And so there's nothing like pragmatic or that makes sense on a piece of paper of how that happened. And ultimately we both gave each other exactly what we needed.
Yeah.
He learned to not live a lie.
Yeah.
And I learned to be liberated from the shackles of oppression. So that's the thing. It's like, I believe sometimes as souls, we're like, I love you so much that I'm going to be the villain in your story. And I'm going to be the one to cause you so much pain and suffering because it's only through that you can become the version of you that you want to be.
Right.
You know, I would definitely not be this version of me without that.
Yeah.
And while no one deserves it or expects it, it's like, we can only learn. Like, that's the thing I used to dream of. Like, can I only learn through ease? And it's like, think of everything you have in your life. How did you learn it? It's like through hardship, through pain. Doesn't mean I'm calling that in, but those things are a gift. Now here's the thing. I think we can, like, move through karma quicker and with more ease.
Okay, tell me more.
So, for example, let's say you and this person have a karmic connection that you're meant to have children, you know, so it may be you get two dogs. It may be you have abortions or miscarriages, and it may be that you have children. Or it may be you feel the call to have this child and you have the awareness beforehand that I can see 2 years, 5 years, 10 years down the road. This would not be the kind of family that I would want. But your body might be telling you to have a child. And here's the thing that I find very confusing for myself and I think for most spiritual people is like, but I. It feels good. Karma feels good, but it doesn't feel right. Something that feels good doesn't always feel right. Feels good to be around that person, but you know you're not meant to be around that person. Feels good to have that drug, but you know it's not right to have that drug. It's like karma will like seduce you because it's, it wants to be completed. So it's often that thing that it's like everything's pushing me towards this thing, this lesson. I gotta try it, I gotta try. And it's like there is only one way out. You gotta go into it, you know. But I find the sooner we can be like, I can already intuit what the lesson is. You don't need to play out the whole thing. You don't need to play out a two year relationship.
Yeah, you can, you can see it.
You can see it. You can at we talk about six weeks is like the time I feel in relationships that like all of the truths and things start to come out. Just the very beginning of it. But six weeks I find is like if you're dating someone for six weeks by then like don't. Before six weeks you're just like, oh.
My God, I met the love of my life and I'm getting married.
Six weeks is like, oh, okay, things are getting a little bit more real. And if you surpass the six weeks, then you might make the three month and you know, and then, and then I think as you get further along the relationship, it's like less often.
But what is it that comes up at six weeks?
I feel at after six weeks that rush of like infatuated hormones starts to die off. Because the first six weeks are about, can I get this person? So it becomes around impressing them and do, do, is this real? Do they like me? Am I getting their attention? So it's all about the pursuit.
Yeah.
And then once you're like, oh, they like me, I like them. Now it starts to get a next level more real. And then in real you get a little bit more sober. And then in the being more sober, you start to look at things that you didn't look at before.
Like the red flags start to come out.
Yeah. And I mean, here's the thing. It's like we've talked about this, it's like every person will have red flags, but I find it's like karma is often those red flags that like, you specifically really overlook.
Wow. Yeah. So it's like you, part of your cycle of learning is to go through this lesson in, in a very difficult way. It's like take. Take off the rose colored glasses and really face this head on.
Yep. Because you're not meant to if you're not meant to see the red flag, because then you wouldn't go into it.
Yeah. Especially if you're somebody that like, stays because that's what you've been conditioned to believe. Or the conditioning of, like, you have to stay no matter what. And it doesn't matter that you're not getting your needs met and that you're not really feeling like the other person's reciprocating in any way. Those people that are just trained to like, oh, but you know, love is scarce, so you better just stay where you're at. Yeah.
And like we talked about in our last episode, like, love is rare, but love is not what we feel in the first year. No two years even. You don't really know someone yet.
I don't think you actually go into that until you've been with somebody for.
Like seven, maybe ten. Ten?
Yeah, I would say ten. Because I think at the beginning you're just so wrapped up with how is this person making.
I'm gonna give you 10 years and decide if I love you.
Okay. It's true. I mean, look, I. It feels like you're in love, Right. It feels. Because you're. It's a, it's a biological experience that you're having. You're having, you know that dopamine hit that, the oxytocin, all of that stuff is flowing through your body and so it's intoxicating. Then you become addicted to that feeling and then you associate that feeling with somebody and then you become sort of codependent on each other. That's what creates the love bubble. Right. You're in this place of constantly feeding each other. These feel good. I personally, from what I've studied and know, it does die out after six months. I mean, you're going six weeks. And maybe that's just the landscape of the world now because everything is going so quick. So I believe that. I do believe that it, that six months is now six months these days.
Is a long term relationship.
Yeah, I know. I totally. I get it. And it's, it's kind of a lot. And I guess my question would be.
Well, I do want to also talk about. Because we talk about karmic relationships. I want to talk about soulmate relationships and twin flame relationships because we were talking about the relationship types. Okay. So from everything I've watched and read and kind of intuited myself. So the karmic relation. So here's something I keep reading on Instagram, and it's pretty interesting. It's like your first love is the love where it's like the puppy love, your first time opening your hearts. It's so pure and innocent and beautiful. And it's like you're always beautiful. Be that person for each other. Your second love is the karmic love. It's the one that teaches you all the lessons, teaches you the discernment. Like, you love them and they broke your heart. Like, something big happened, but it was a huge catalyst for who you became. And then the third love often comes out of nowhere when you've really learned how to love yourself and you've really healed yourself. And it's a love that's more of that soulmate style of love. So the soulmate love is like, you bring out the best in each other. Right. The karma is you're bringing out the shadows of each other. Needed. Right. But the soulmate is, I bring out the best in you, you bring out the best in me. We love being around each other. We feel like we're part of the same soul clan. So, like, we've traveled across lifetimes together. We may have played different roles in each other's lives. Maybe we were, you know, brother and sister or mother and daughter or whatever else, but there's such a sense of home and familiarity. I mean, of course you'll fight and things like that, but it's not that same, like, trigger necessarily. Then there's the twin flame relationships, which is believed that we all have one. Some say everyone has a twin flame. Some say not everyone does. I don't know. From what I've kind of understood about twin flames is like your soul in another body. So there's your opposites in different ways. So, like, the amount creative they are, you are. They are rational, et cetera. So it's like when you come together, it's like this beautiful synergy of wholeness. And I know what everyone's thinking, doesn't that means you're half of a soul? You could say that. But it's more around, like, you become superpowered together, and you are extremely psychic, telepathic. You can read each other's minds. Oftentimes the relationship, like Comes together really strongly, and it's this like, beautiful fireworks, incredible relationship. Or. Or maybe not a relationship, just a knowing of each other. And then there's a split. There's a separation. And in that separation, the souls have to go through their own journey. For the men, it's often around their inner war, fighting their inner demons, facing their inner shadows. And for women, it's around finding wholeness within themselves, marrying their inner masculine and feminine, not seeking that validation only from outside of them. And often it's the woman who awakens first. And once she has found that sacred marriage within herself, it sends a telepathic ping to the male counterpart, and he starts to go deeper and deeper into his journey of, like, fighting his own inner demon. And. And so that's why a lot of twin flames are in this anguish, because it's like they know that person's out there who's like their other half, but he's not ready. The masculine counterpart, you know, which sometimes a woman could be the masculine counterpart, but he's not ready. So it's often the woman, like, waiting and yearning and. But it's inevitable for them to come together. Now, how does this happen to me now? But I have. I have been reading a lot of cases and I'm like, I could. I'm definitely seeing. Seen that before. Could it be an excuse for trauma bonding? Totally. And I think things can be used in whatever way. But it's interesting to kind of feel into different relationships you've had. And it's like sometimes when you're in a relationship feels like soulmate. It's only in the breakup that it becomes karmic and, you know, and then sometimes breakup, you actually realize it really was still soulmate. Oh, interesting.
Yeah. Yeah.
It's often like how you break up.
Yeah.

How have you broken up in your relationships? You had three major ones.
Yeah, well, obviously the high school one, I don't even really consider that, like a love.
Who broke up with who?
He went to college and I was still in high school.
You broke up with him. Just say it.
Yeah, I broke up with him.
Okay.
And second, and then that was my like, college one into. Into the first year after college, and that was like I went to Bali and.
You broke up with him?
Yeah.
Okay.
No, we went our separate ways. It was just living in different places and then the karmic. So I would say that was a soulmate one for sure. You know, and then the marriage was. Was his infidelity, right?
Yeah. But you left him.
Yeah. Girl who. I mean, we just went through that.
No, no, no, no, no. I'm.
I'm just. You know what? 80% of the divorces out there are filed by women so most of the time, it is women leaving relationships because men take a very long time to get into relationships. Once they're in them, they don't want to leave.
Yeah.
They're like, wait, you're, like, getting all my needs met. And the women are like, I don't even have time for myself. Because as women, we give and give and give so much. That's why when we're out of relationships.
We have glow ups.
The men have glow downs. Yeah, yeah.
No, I. I get it. I'm. I was just curious because I'm like, okay, like, this is really. I mean, you are burning away karma from your lineage, if you look at it from that perspective, because you've come to a place in your life where.
You know, if I'm not met, I will walk away.
If you're not met, you will walk away. So that's a really great revelation and a really great, like, step up, I think, in your lineage specifically, to be able to do that. I don't believe in the twin flames thing. I think it's just. Yeah. An excuse for trauma bonding, personally.
But what about you for your previous relationships? Did you walk away or.
I think it's healthy for everybody to be broken up with at least once because it's such a. And in a way, you. You experienced that in your divorce, like, because, I mean, you. You did the right thing. I mean, you made the right choice, but it wasn't your choice. Right. I mean, in a way, somebody else made the choice for you, you know, But I think it really teaches us a lesson. Yeah, same. I've only had three relationships. Same exact thing. Like you. The blind leading the blind.
The fact that we have the same number two virgins talking about relationships here.
Oh, my God, this is so hilarious. Yeah, but it's. It's the same. I. I've been broken up with, and I broke up with. With my second boyfriend, and now I'm with the third, still 21 years later. So.
So would you say the third, the second one was the karmic one, and the third was the one where it all came together?
No, but I. I think I like what you said in, though. I think it's all karmic, you know, I think. But I think even I don't feel.
Like Tori's a karmic relationship for you.
I think it is, though, in a way, because we've had different relationships within the relationship. Right. Like, we are not. If we go back to the beginning. The beginning was like a chapter, and then we went into, like, another Chapter, and then we went through another chapter. Like we're two completely different people.
So would you say it Sometimes it was more karmic, sometimes more soulmate even. Sometimes it felt like twin flame.
I think it's for sure. You know, we talked about this before too, the soulmate thing, when I was like, I don't believe in soul mates. And then I was like, I feel like believing in soul mates today. I think there's definitely something.
So what's your bond and pattern? Are you guys soul mates?
I think we're one of the, like, higher gold. I don't remember what the pattern. Yeah, I think it's a golden. Yeah, so. So we have a pretty good bond.
But what would you do if someone was like your soulmate on pattern but it's like not working out?
Well, I would try and make it work because love is scarce because the pattern happen.
We're soulmates.
So here's the thing about soul. If you believe in soulmates, this is what I would say. And you do.
Yes.
So I think that it's. You have to really be able to separate the spiritual aspect of really loving somebody and the sort of, like, realistic way of being in a relationship. And I think you do a really good job at, like, weighing both. Right.
You'll always love everyone you've ever loved.
Of course. And I believe that too. And I really think that if you were to have a soulmate connection in your life and you want things to work out and maybe the other person doesn't, or it seems like they don't, I would. I would say if two people acknowledge that they're soulmates and there is seemingly a connection, I think that those two people need to work it out.
So I'm of the belief that you will come across various soulmates in your relationship.
Oh, you think so?
Multiples, yes. Okay, the twin flame thing is just one. But soulmates, you have multiple. Like, we are soulmates. Yeah, I believe, Like, I believe for sure. My soul was like, damn, I'm so fucking lonely here in this harem. I got no one to talk to on Bella dance. And like, I'm all day. Please give me a best friend. And I'd like her to be a Latina. I'm sick of these little Middle Eastern girls. Here's so much competition. I want a fat ass Latino for my next life.
Here we are.
And you manifested, like, I need someone to talk to. This man can't keep my speak my language.
What about me sharing my dreams with Tori and him being like, I don't know, And I'm like.
But this is like.
I.
So I think we are soulmates, and I think it's like you might have a bond with a certain parent that's like a soulmate. You might have a sibling bond. That's a soulmate, friend, teacher, whatever. And I believe we have certain bonds with people. Okay, wait, what? I'm. What I'm learning. What I'm learning right now. And I know this is different than what we said on the last podcast. Okay, I. I know you're judging. This is what I'm going to say now. I've grown. Just because someone is a soulmate, it doesn't mean you have. You. You need to negate your needs in a relationship and doesn't mean that they can't grow. But I think sometimes soulmate connections are meant to be what they were. They were meant to be that chapter, like, an X is an X for a reason. You know, like, whatever was the thing that broke you up. Unless that thing was really healed and really resolved and really addressed that thing. Those feelings that you had after the breakup of, oh, yeah, that. That wasn't my person. Because XYZ thing, which after a relationship, we're all like, what was that? Thinking? Like, they were this, they were that, they were that. And then you're lonely, and then you're like, oh, my God, there's one person out there that really loves me. And, you know, I don't have to go through the dating thing. And they could be serial killers and getting to know new people. There's someone I could go straight back into love with, and that's the ex, you know, and that's why it's such a temptation. That's why most people go back and forth with their exes, you know, but it's like. But that underlying thing is still there.
Yeah.
You know, So I feel like sometimes leave the soulmate connection to be that soulmate connection, but we, like, keep going back of like, is there more? Is there more? And I think genuinely, if there is more, you gotta go through your own complete journeys of separation and becoming. And that's more of that twin flame journey. And you have to completely let it go and completely let go of the attachment of it ever working, which means dating other people, all of that.
I mean. Yes. But I also think that with an ex, like, I think it depends. I think it depends on the circumstances of why you broke up. I think obviously, if there's infidelity. Yeah, that's obviously gonna be a big red flag. I think if if it's, you know, some fundamental value issue or moral issue, obviously, I think if somebody wants to have kids, other person doesn't, and that's why he broke up and then he got back together. It's like, if those types of things don't change, I think ultimately, yeah, you're just going to go repeat the cycles. But I do think that sometimes it's a timing thing. And I do have friends who have been. Who dated before and then they ended up getting back together like a couple years later after they sort of saw that. Okay, it is a bleak landscape out here. And maybe the things that I was feeling were non negotiables. I'm kind of negotiable on, for example, you know, like we sleep at different times.
And I think it just depends on what are genuine non negotiables for you.
Yeah, I think that's, that's.
And what are your actual boundaries? And what I've really learned is like, I can do boundaries with like my business and stuff. Even friendship. Not really, but relationships. No, I did not know shit around boundaries in a relationship because no one in my lineage has had that right. Even my own family. And so I never started relationship. Like, let's talk about what are your relational needs and what mine are ever. Have you started a relationship like that?
No.
I mean, you were so young that you didn't know that. It's like probably now you would, though.
Yeah, but I have, though, as I've grown. And I think that that's, that's the component now that you've learned in the last almost two years, this sort of framework of I need to be able to state what I need and, you know, now what didn't work before and how to improve the situation again. It's like you didn't do anything wrong in your last relationship. And I think that ultimately we think when we have somebody, you know, cheat on us or have somebody be dishonest with us or we feel like, what was my role in this? Right. And I really think that, you know, taking that out of the equation because you didn't, and just really looking at this, like, when I, when I look at this, there are certain things that I would change about this person and about myself. And I think that's a really healthy way of looking at it. And I think it's a really important thing to do to not gaslight yourself and not gaslight your needs. So I really respect that. And I think it's really important for you to respect yourself in that way. At the same Time. I think, you know, we live in a community, you know, like, we live in a place where most of us are just thinking about ourselves like 99.9% of the time. How does this person fulfill me? Like, what am I getting? What do I want? These are my needs. This is what I want to get.
You know, but then swap needs for, like, values. Like, okay. For me, my core childhood wound was my dad does not have time for me.
Right.
I don't feel important to him.
Yeah.
And so I have subconsciously been okay. Not only okay, actually think it's a good thing if a man is working all the time, because that means he's working on something more important than me and that he's a respectable guy. Because that is what I saw. So for me, if a guy wasn't doing much, I'm like, oh, I don't respect you. If a guy's working a lot and has no time for me, I'm like, ah, that's a husband. Because that's what I saw as my father. But the underlying wound I had as a child is my dad never even asks me a question. Right. My dad doesn't even try to get.
To know trigger for you. That's a.
So then if I am attracted to people who have big missions, I'm attracted to people who work a lot. I'm attracted to ambitious people. But then it brings up that whole thing of they don't ask me questions, they don't try to get to know me, they just like the idea of me. So that's a karmic pattern. I can keep doing it and sitting in it and becoming okay and understanding that they have work and they're busy and be compassionate for them. And it makes total sense. I can keep doing that for the rest of my life, just like everyone in my lineage has.
Yeah.
But it's like, when are we going to have that compassion for ourselves?
Yeah.
And I feel like it's so easy for us to take that, like, high road as women of like, let me be the bigger person. He's hurt, he's tired, he's wounded, he's traumatized, he's this, he's that. Instead of like, how do I feel?
Yeah.
How. What are my needs in this? You know? Because it's like, we can out love someone who even murdered us. We can say, I love you because you're a good person. We can do that for everyone. But it's like at the end of the day, our life is a result of the standard that we set for it. And we. That's with the personal responsibility. If I don't set my standard and I don't state my needs and I don't actually have the courage to walk away, if those needs are not met, then I will end up in a relationship that's not serving me.
Yeah.
You know, so it's hard because the speaking of the needs also has the other side of that person might not be able to meet them. And then what? You know, look, and I know it's complicated and it's nuanced and some people have children, so it's not so simple. And so you may be in a relationship where it's like, well, doesn't mean I can walk away, but maybe we can meet halfway. Right. But I think that's the gift of dating is like, yeah, you're gonna have a heartbreak, you're gonna cry, it's gonna suck. You're gonna be mourning what could have been.
Yeah.
You know, but it's like, but what would have been is knowing that your core desire in a relationship would not have been met.
Right. But how soon into dating somebody do you say that?
I don't think that all needs to be like, explicitly said. I think you can start to see by their actions, you know, like, you can see if he comes home at 10pm every single night and he's exhausted again and again. Okay.
There.
We don't even have time to go to dinner if, if he.
Or he's just sleepy and wants to go to bed.
Yeah, exactly. And let's say you're an adventurous person and you don't want that. If you can see that he's traveling all the time and you want a relationship where you have, have, you know, shared morning practice every day. Okay. That's not going to work. And it's. I think it's the time thing is especially hard. And I do have a lot of empathy. Right. That our society is global. People have to work a lot. People aren't in charge of their schedules. Like, I get that, like there's. It's real. But I do believe there is someone out there. They won't be perfect, but the core things that you want, they will naturally be able to fulfill it from the, from them being themselves. Not every single thing. But if you're like, I want someone to wake up within the morning and drink coffee and have a shared practice, and then we come home and we have dinner, there's someone that's going to have a job that allows them to do that. And they probably want that too.
Yeah.
If you're. Someone says, I want someone that doesn't have a job. They can travel all the time and we're always going. There are people who naturally do that. And the more we have to bend at the beginning of relationships, I think the less likely the relationship's gonna work because it's like, let's say we were in a relationship and you were like, sahara, I need you to sleep at 8pm like, this is really important to me. It's a need of mine. I need. I need my partner to go to bed with me. It makes me feel loved. It makes me feel this. I could be like, oh, damn, Rosie, I really like you. Okay, I'm gonna sleep at 8pm I might try, try, try. And then I'll start to get resentful that I'm like, damn, my best hours of working are gone. Like, I barely sleep. I'm just tossing and turning for the first four hours. And then she's getting annoyed of why am I moving in bed? And now I'm missing out on this. And now I'm that. And now I'm that. That. It's like, unless I naturally start to love it, I'm just going to get resentful for it. Right. And so I find in the beginning of a relationship, if you're finding. It would be great if I could only change this, this, this, this, and this. It's not the right relationship.
But every relationship is that way, though.
Every relationship will have some. But if it's to the core, things that really matter to you, maybe the APM thing is not a core thing that matters to you. Right. It's a soft boundary. It would be nice to have, but I don't need it. But if it's a hard boundary for me, someone who's spending time with me, it's a hard boundary. I would rather not be in a relationship than be in a relationship with someone that's not there. So it's like, it is a make or break. And I think because you've been in.
A situation like that before.
Exactly. And so maybe we have like, like two things max, that are genuine make or breaks, but those are the things we're going to likely keep seeing again and again and again because of these karmic relationships.
Oh, what are your make or breaks? That's. That's bringing it back full circle. Yeah. Like, I mean, I, I hear you and I hear what you're saying, but I mean, I think back to. To mine and Tori's relationship, and, like, there were so many things that I Didn't like he worked at night. I mean he had night hours, like, like graveyard shift. You know, he would go into the studio at like 10, 10pm that's when.
He would start working. Was it a hard boundary that you wanted to leave the relationship for at that time?
At that time it wasn't. And in the beginning, you know, nothing bothers us when we're really attracted to somebody and we're having a great physical connection. You know, it's like there you can do no wrong. All of a sudden all the things that you're like, oh, this would be a little red flaggy. You're like, that's fine. You know, and not that he has red flags.
And you're very lucky too that I do believe your soul chose to have this very smooth relationship with him. Though it has not been perfect. But like it's very rare to have a 22 year relationship with someone you've been with since 19 today.
Right.
Your soul chose that.
Yeah.
Maybe because someone else could have been like, yeah, he works the graveyard shift and this and that and then it's like they break up over it.
Yeah. And even we've talked about this on the podcast before, it's like, but, but I wouldn't, I wouldn't swipe on him, you know, like I wouldn't chose, I wouldn't choose him. This who I am now. Like boundaries and all the things that I have and yeah, going to bed at 8 o'. Clock and maybe Tori's a little bit resentful for me. Like, I mean he talks, he tells everybody about, he's like, I, she makes me go to bed so early and I'm like tough, you know. But there are certain things, I think that there, there is a little bit of give and take and ultimately I can't imagine him leaving the best thing that's ever happened to him because I.
Make him go to bed 8pm so what about things? It's like, yeah, what are the things you would be willing to walk away from? Honestly, I think and I think you're in a 22 year marriage so it's like going to be very, very big things. It's like the shorter the relationship, it could be more of these subtleties.
Well, I think to, if I'm honest, sometimes it feels like the end. You know, I think that's the sort of beauty and, and you know, ugliness of being in a 22 year relationship. It's like the, when there is an issue, it's an issue that's been there for A long time. And like, when we go, we go. You know what I mean? It's like if we have a. It's rare, we don't fight, we might bicker constantly. I mean, you've seen us, you know, but. And most of the time it's me. I know, but. But if he gets inspired to have an argument and there are only like two different topics that cause a severe atomic bomb, we can go there, like, and we go all the way there where it's like, maybe this is not the right thing or maybe we're done, you know, and it's like, I'm done. And he's like, I'm done. And I'm like, okay, we're done. You know, so we could go there. I think that's sort of like the make or break of things. And it could be the, the. For people on the outside, it could be the smallest little thing where you might be like, all right, so you have to deal with his family, you know, like. Or you have to deal with, you know, situations that have nothing to do with you and it impacts your relationship or, you know, it's a financial, you know, problem.
Do you think that the person's family is related to your karma? That your partner's family is related to your karma?
I. I don't know. I think that's. I think we've talked about this before. I totally is. You think so?
Massively.
How? How so?
It can go different ways. Oftentimes for women, you know, the common complaint is not liking the mother in law. We've heard that since we were kids. But it's like, why? And often that mother in law is like the literal personification of all of the mishaps of your partner. Like all of the things that like, you get annoyed by and you're like, it's because of this mother's, you know, lack of parenting. Right. And then here's the person, the culprit, you know, and it's sad and it doesn't need to be that way, but I find there is often this like oppositional force between mothers and mother in laws. And if you're very lucky, a kinship.
Yeah.
You know, you might have a relationship with your partner's mother. That's the dream, right. To love your partner's parents, to see them as your own family. To feel like, even if my partner was in the picture, I would want to be with these people. Like, that's the hope and the dream. But often in especially karmic relationships, it's not that it's like they're the literal embodiment of all the things that you're here not to be in this lifetime. And so when you're talking to them, it's like, literally coming face to face with the personification of all of your relationships. Shadows.
Yeah. Because it's like you're the reason why my partner is this way.
Exactly.
Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'm. I can get on board with that. I'll jump on that.
But does that mean kids will look at your kids, Wife will look at you like that?
Think about it. If you have a son. Think about it. You have a son, Rose. Imagine. And it's like your nemesis and she's telling your son, your child, the blood of your blood. Like, your mom is a narcissist. Could you imagine?
But often it's like, that needs to happen, like, spiritually, because children need to go through.
Yeah, but what does that do to you? You just.
What do you do? I mean, as a. I've never been a mom, but it's like, as a mom, you're going to take the worst fucking hits to the gut. Like, the worst things that anyone could say to you. Those kids are going to tell you, you know, all of your deep, deepest pain points. Like, kids can point. I remember doing it to my mom. I would, like, find the things that I knew would hurt her if I was very hurt, you know, because oftentimes moms especially are like, the safe space.
Yeah.
Like, especially if you're not so comfortable with your dad or scared of your dad, then the mom is the place that you can take out all of your anger. So you're pointing it at her, and mom just have to take it. I'm like, damn. My mom would tell me, she's like, one day you're going to have kids and you're going to know what it's like. And I'm like. Like, you know, but it is crazy because it's like, I believe our kids are a major part of our karma.
Yeah. Yeah. That's really interesting, because our family dynamic, like, it's opposite. Right. So my mom was more like the dad. Right. And my dad is more like the mom. Like, I'm way closer to my dad. And I'm curious. The more I've thought about this, you know, over the years, is how I have such a great relationship to my dad. Like, we talk all the time, you know, like, almost every day. Just a couple of minutes a day, just check in. But he's way more soft and so much more emotionally available. And I think having that like, I wanted a partner that was completely opposite. Right. We've talked about this. Not that Tori's not emotionally, I mean, he at times can be emotionally devoid, you know, but for the most part he's, you know, that that's the relationship I have with my dad and with my mom. It's more of that like, sort of stoic, very sort of like rigid relationship. So it's really interesting to hear you.
Say that maybe this is why you have a 22 year relationship.
Well, this is, this is the thing that, that was going to be my question to you, you know, and so.
Do you feel like you struggle with your relationship with women more?
No, I don't think so. Because I had a very nurturing grandmother, you know, so she gave me all. So my dad was very physically loving, very emotionally available, very about like, oh.
I need a hug.
Very like doting. A doting father. Very, very much, you know, stage dad. Like, my children are like, amazing. They could do no wrong. They're so talented, they're so smart, you know, like, very much that way. And my grandmother was very, very nurturing, you know. And so my parents did split up when I was little and I actually stayed with my dad. My older sister went with my mom and her and I are very different, you know, So I don't know necessarily that that made me struggle with relationships with women. I think I definitely have more masculine qualities when it comes to certain ways of being, but I think that's just, you know, growing up in East LA and being around a bunch of like, gangs, you know, like.
Yeah, and maybe from a spiritual perspective, like your karmic path was to choose living with your father to, you know, get those masculine qualities that would help you find safety in east la. You know, maybe your soul chose all of that. Yeah.
And it's interesting too, you know, to really look at the dynamics in the way that you and I have talked about, you know, like, for me, I never, you know, felt like I, I do want attention from my partner. But like, I, I think for me it's more of a physical thing. Like I can be very sort of binary about it. I'm like, I need oxytocin or I need serotonin, like, come give me what I need, you know, And I'm very vocal about one thing that Tori will say to you about our relationship is that, that I've never played any games. It's always been very much like, this is what I need and this is what I want. And I think it comes from having a male figure in my life that.
Always gave me that right that you're not craving it.
Yeah. So it was just.
And then I also think being in a long term relationship is like, he's right there. He lives with you.
Right.
The craving comes when you don't know if he's going to text back. Right. You don't know if the relationship's going to happen. And that's where the craving comes. And so mine was flipped. So of very close with my, my, my brother and I, very close with my mom. And we had like our Guatemalan babysitter who lived with us. It was like with the woman. Then my grandma was there all the time. But I had my grandfather and he would stay with us for like months of the year. And he was like former military boxer who turned into like a pacifist and ballroom dancer and vegan. And so I would sit and talk with him for hours about like God and is God real? And like, you know, all these different philosophical things in roomy and hafiz. And so for me, like especially with the medicine showed me is like the archetype of who I'm calling in as my partner is my grandfather. That energy, which is the opposite energy of my very karmic relationship with my dad, which on pattern we have challenging.
You do.
My dad and I are challenging. And it's like all friction.
What about your mom?
It's like extraordinary. And your brother, I think, also extraordinary. Yeah. I was just like, it's so freaking true. And it's like you and your dad just like you don't see eye to eye. You don't see each other because I was like the one standing up against the patriarchy, you know, and like he would yell and I would be like, don't yell at my mom. And like, you know, like I would get as big as he was. So it was like we were like the rivals, right?
Yeah.
And in a way that helped me cultivate my masculine right to be the only one kind of becoming a protector. But it made me like really, as a core little girl, so many memories of just hating him, like hating him so deeply.
But it's interesting because that I think that that relationship made you, like, such a boss.
I think it made me a boss, but it made me like, if I see any traits of a man's anger, I am such a. No.
Yeah.
So what I'm sitting with right now is like, I want to be in a relationship with a strong, like leader man. But I do feel on a deep core level my inner little Girl is afraid of those qualities being related to the narcissism and the anger. Right. Whereas my grandfather was like, so sweet, philosophical this and that. But like, I mean, he was old, so he was more of a softer energy. So I felt safe with him. Right. So then it's like, so then I may be dating men who I feel safe with, but then I don't feel met by them. I think it's interesting as we become more aware of these things. And I think awareness is one key because we can kind of play mental awareness for a long time and it's like ultimately like clearing the energy. Right. Cause it's like I can be aware. Oh my.
How do you clear the energy?
I feel it takes time. It takes continual thought process, awareness, embodiment, you know, like, I mean, the literal practices of like cord cutting and like shaking and crying and. Yeah. Writing things out. Yeah. Like last night I was literally like rolling on my floor, just, just embodying, doing my triple E method on myself, you know. So whenever I'm deep in my feels, I will do the triple E method I talk about in my embodiment coaching certification. Emote. So cry. Feel the feeling. Embody. So I'll like play a song even though it's like the last thing I want to do. And I'll just like move my body of how I want to feel. So if it's expansion, I will feel like opening my heart or if it's like safety, I will feel like a cocoon on the floor. I will even look in the mirror and tell my thing myself things in the mirror and like, really see myself and look into my eyes. And like, we never look, look at ourselves the way that lovers have looked at us, you know? And I feel that does a lot of like, imprinting. It's like there are shift moments that happen when you really, like, especially if you're crying and you look into your eyes in the mirror and you see yourself in that you make eye contact with yourself when you witness yourself in that moment and you see, like, I'm so beautiful. Like I'm such a precious soul. And you really get this empathy for yourself that, you know, why are we crying? Oftentimes it's because we feel we've lost access to love, you know? And it's like that love is there. And it's like at the end of the day, the one person that's going to be with you till the day that you die is you. You know, not your family, not your partner, not anyone else but you. And then so you embody and then express whether it's speaking to yourself in the mirror, recording a voice note, writing it down, doing a poem, singing a song. Like you turn it into art, you turn into something more beautiful. And I feel that that makes the whole journey so worth it it because you're like, I'm grateful I went through this dip because from it I've risen like a phoenix.
Damn, I got nothing.
Well, any final thoughts as we close up?
Yeah, my final thought is you've really given me a lot to think about with this karmatic cycle, this, this burning of. Of karma and relationships. I think I. I really want to sit with that and really think about it. Consider it. But I think all in all, I think what I've learned from this conversation has been how important it is to establish your needs and your non negotiables, you know, especially as women.
Yep.
Yeah.
Yeah. And I've taken away from it. Like if you are single and dating, like this is the time though it's like can suck to be single. Like this is the time you actually can really stand for those needs because it's like the needs that we pass up at the beginning because we so badly want to be in love, we forget what it's like to be in long term relationships or a lot of my friends have never been in significant long term relationships so they're just like hungry to get in. I so get it. Because the feminine just wants to love. Like we just want to be in love, you know, and it's like to not slip up on those because those little things that were actual like non negotiables for you will become the big things that like later on could be the demise of a marriage.
Yeah. Yeah.
