This is a podcast episode titled "603: Manifestation Expert: The Universe Is Talking To You- The Hidden with Robert Grant," recorded in 2025. It features a deep, spiritual conversation between Sahara Rose and Robert Grant, an Egyptologist and mathematician, exploring topics such as synchronicities, higher self communication, time as a multidimensional concept, spirituality, narcissism, and personal growth. Sahara Rose hosts the discussion, sharing insights and guiding the dialogue on modern spirituality and intuition.
The way that you can communicate with your higher self is through synchronicities.
Synchronicities are everywhere. I feel like whenever I'm on path to something, I am seeing angel numbers. Hearing songs telling me the exact lyrics that I need to hear.
Your higher self is basically telling you, pay attention. The source code of all of this is like computer code and it's numerical. You realize that everything was already planned far, far, far in advance. And what you thought was destiny is.
Really just, is this a future version of ourselves giving us little breadcrumb?
The way all of our past lives and all of our future lives are embedded right within our DNA.
I actually did a podcast with Robert Grant that came out about two years ago now, and it ended up being the number one podcast ever. He is an Egyptologist, a wizard, a mathematician merges together spirituality with science.
We have no problem to understand that the past and the present can determine the future. But does that also means the future and the present also determine the past? Yes.
This is juic. Does there ever come a place that we have nothing we're afraid of and can live in a state of bliss?
I think the way that you can live in a perfect state of bliss is by.

Now let's get into this one. So synchronicities are everywhere. I feel like whenever I'm on path to something, I am seeing angel numbers, hearing songs telling me the exact lyrics that I need to hear. Even, like having thoughts of random things, random words, and I'll like look it up in my phone and find like an old conversation with someone that was exactly what I needed to see. It is crazy. The science, science of synchronicities. And I actually did a podcast all about that with the guest you're going to hear from today that came out about two years ago now. And it ended up being the number one podcast ever in our eight years here on High Self Podcast. So I want to introduce our guest today, Robert Grant. You might know him from Gaia TV's show Codex. He is an Egyptologist, a wizard, a mathematician, just like someone who truly merges together spirituality with science, math, and music. And, I mean, over 700,000 downloads on his last episode. I don't even know where the conversation is going to go today. So without further ado, welcome back, Robert Grant, number one ever.
You know, I'm totally shocked. I mean, so you've had some pretty amazing people on.
I mean, you've had, like, Deepak Sadhguru, Everyone.
You've had everyone, like, literally Teal as well, I think.
Yes.
Yeah, you've had, like, amazing people.
Diane, Don, Miguel Ruiz. Yeah, but you're number one. Am I boosting your ego, though?
Is this bad for you?
You know what, Am I gonna make you a spiritual narcissist?
We did talk about that last time.
We did.
Actually, I've got some new material for you on that, too, that I've just been learning and experiencing through myself and. But we could get into that part of the discussion if you like.
We'll see where the synchronicities guide us.
Yeah, of course.
For people who did not watch that first episode or want a little recap, what are synchronicities and who is sending them to us?
Well, the good news is they're basically from you. It's just the other side, the part of you that's behind the veil. You know, you could call it your subconscious or your unconscious mind, and it's the you inverse. I don't tend to believe that the universe is separate from each of us. I believe that it is us. And in fact, it's just what's being reflected in our outer world related to our emotions, those emotions that we have that are stored within us, that we're aware of, as well as the emotions we're not even aware of. And it all just gets magnified in this outer world as a reflection back to us. And so when we see synchronicities and the source code of all of this is like computer code, it's very similar, and it's numerical. And so as a result, the way that you can communicate with that other aspect of you, your higher self, as it were, is through synchronicities. So the synchronicities show up, and then you're like, okay. And I'll know very often if all of a sudden, you know, I'm driving down the street, and I see a car in front of me that's got a license plate that says Alpha Omega 73, right? Which I actually will see that I'll have AO or Axo 73. And I'll be like. And whatever I'm talking about at that moment is something that I need to pay extra attention to. Or whatever emotion I'm feeling at that moment is what I need to pay extra attention to. It's kind of like whenever you get. I'm sure you probably experienced this, one of those sort of extra sensory perception things where you'll get like chills up your back and along your arms and everything. You're like, ooh. And you just know that, wait, there's something more to this. And your higher self is basically telling you, pay attention, this is for you. And those synchronicities could literally be happening all around us, and we're just simply not aware of it. But I tend to believe that at the right time for us to find those synchronicities is when we start finding them and they find us. And that's when you start knowing that you're really on the right divine path for your life and for everything happening in your life. And you realize that everything was already planned far, far, far in advance. And what you thought was destiny is really just the free will of your higher self.
So this highest self that we're speaking about, I'm curious, in your perspective, is this a future version of ourselves that knows the ultimate timeline and is giving us little breadcrumbs along the way?
You know, I tend to think that time is like a torus or a Mobius strip that. Are you familiar with what a Mobius strip is? So do you remember when you were in, like elementary school and they would like, make these around Halloween time, usually, like take a strip of that kind of colored paper, and then they'd make a bracelet around your arm with it, right? Well, if you twist the paper right, you'll have a twist right in the middle of the bracelet. But if you twist it another half turn, so you end up twisting it not 360 degrees, but actually 540 degrees. So you twist it all the way 540 degrees. Then what you end up with is a Mobius where it becomes like. Imagine a racetrack where you drive on one side of the paper, but because it's twisted, you end up on both sides of the paper, right? I believe that's what time and DNA actually is. So think about DNA, how it twists, right? And how it's this Double helix structure. Well, all of our past lives and all of our future lives are embedded right within our DNA. It's literally accessible to us. So what we consider is time is really just the limitation that we have on our perception. I believe, Right. I believe that we are dimensionally limited avatars, dimensionally limited, purposefully into this fourth dimensional space, which is the third dimension of depth and the fourth dimension of time, which is measured through. We look at it as motion, but we measure it through time. So what we consider then, our past and our future is just another form of duality that we are persistently perceiving because we're only seeing time going one direction. We don't understand that the paper twists and that it goes both directions. So in this context, if we think of time as a torus, in fact, scientists often would say this, that if you shot a photon, right, and photons don't actually travel. But that's another discussion. But let's say you shined a light to the edge of the universe, ostensibly, what should happen, because the universe is shaped in a toroidal shape, it should boomerang eventually back to you. It may take a super, super long time to come back to you, but eventually, because it's shaped like that, it should come back to you. Well, who's to say that time isn't the same? That what we consider our distant past is simultaneously also our distant future? And in a matrix of mind, it can only be that, because we have no problem to understand that the past and the present can determine the future. But when we start to think about it from the context of, okay, well, the past and the present determine the future. Yes. But does that also mean somehow, are you saying, Robert, that the future and the present also determine the past and. Yes, and I'm going to give you concrete examples of what I mean by that.
This is juicy, right?
So when you've probably had something that's been terrible that's happened in your life, right, where you've gone through a bout of sadness or maybe even depression or something.
I've told you about it, Robert.
And I know about it. I know about it. I'm just. I'm not leading the witness here, but you've probably looked back on that at certain points in time and said, whoa, that was like the hardest moment of my life. But then with the benefit of some more time, it doesn't quite seem as bad as it was. And probably at a certain stage, you're going to be like, wow, I dodged a bullet. Right? And then you might even get to the point where you eventually look back on it and say, that was the best thing that ever happened to me, period. Right. Are you at that stage now?
Oh, my God. So grateful, right?
So grateful that it happened. Right. So what really changed here? Did history change? Well, for you, it did change because you went from saying there was a worst thing when we first talked about two years ago, it was like, fresh. It was fresh and painful for you. And then when we met with Teal, you brought it up to Teal as well, and it was still so, you know, it was bubbling under the surface kind of thing. But then, you know, the next time I saw you and I could tell each time you're lighter, lighter and lighter, and it's not weighing heavily on you as much anymore. And so what happened was you made an interpolation, you made an assessment based on your perception of what that moment in time represented to you. And that was the worst thing that ever happened to you. You know, going through a divorce and all that is tough. But then later on, with the benefit of time, you make a new assessment and say, that was the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank goodness that happened. I'd be in a loveless marriage, you know, whatever, go down a whole litany of things. And yet the historical reference, what actually happened to you, didn't change. But in life, what happens to us is not what actually happens to us. It's what we believe happened to us. And so we make an interpolation, we make an interpretation of what happens to us, these events that occur. And everyone's going to have a subjective reference because everyone has their own, what I would call some sort of conditioning bias, whatever that conditioning bias is, will determine how you will react to this type of situation. As such, history changed for you. Because what was really the history, the history was the emotions that you felt ascribed to that moment in time. And those emotions, each one of us, are acting like blockchain validators and validating that emotional state. That's what the akashic is. The akashic record is basically everyone's different emotional states for what they believe happened to them. And as those emotional states get collected, you can actually change history by changing how you perceive what happened. And then history altogether changes. So the past determines the future, but the future, in that context, determines the past. Because now your past and your emotional state is now no longer the sullen, heavy, you know, very sobering discussion. It's now one of freedom, emancipation, history changed. And collectively, that's what's happening now. Imagine that we had certain periods in time in our history of a 24,000 year cycle, right? And we had certain periods of time in our history that you know, are like the Yugas, the Yuga cycles that would say, okay, this is a satya Yuga. And satya just means truth, right? So that's the period that you know the truth and then you've got the Kali Yuga. And that's a period where it's like destruction and hardcore. Right? Kalima. All of the stuff that we ascribe that would be negative associated with that. All that's happening is we're going through these cycles of higher consciousness and access to higher dimension. The notion that time goes both directions and then we have moments in time where we forget all of that, because that's the game we wanted to play. It would be no fun for us to play a game where I'm omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent and you are too. That's no fun. We wanted to play chess. I'd know the moves you're going to make before you make them. You know the moves I'm going to make before I make them. There's no fun in that game. Instead, if you think about like the best part of superhero movies, the best part is when they start figuring out that they have superpowers and when they realize that they have these superpowers, then you're like on this journey of discovering what other powers do they have. You know, Spider man can climb walls, but what else can he do? Can he shoot a spider web out or something? That's what we're going through right now. We're starting to realize that there are things that are embedded within our own DNA that are unrealized potentialities within each of us. We're starting to realize that there's even earth has a 5D and possibly even a six dimensional history that we're unable to perceive because it's in the fifth and sixth dimension. Is that what Atlantis and Lemuria actually are? They're hidden from our vision and they're no longer in our history because they were in higher dimension. And as we raise our consciousness and go to higher dimension, then all of a sudden we start finding all these remnants of this lost civilization. You follow what I'm saying? We are dimensionally limited avatars and we're here to learn through emotional states in this game that we call life, that is a spiritual life simulation game. And that simulation game is meant for us to up level our consciousness and remember and Find all these abilities within ourselves, because that's the most fun part of the game. But without the contrast, without the negativity, without the darkness, without the challenge, without the divorces, without all the stuff that happens in our lives, it wouldn't have the same weightiness. Because a fundamental principle of a successful spiritual life simulation game would be materiality and objectivity. That becomes the basis of the whole thing. It's like, okay, so we have to believe in materiality and objectivity. Well, as we start to ascend in our consciousness, we realize actually that the world is a lot less material and objective. And then we start realizing, actually it's mental and subjective, and what I thought were facts were merely facets of a larger truth that I just didn't have access to. So every day, I'm unlearning what I've learned. This informs our history, it informs our present, informs our future. And if you want to change the world, change how you perceive the world.
So you may have noticed from listening to this podcast, talking to your friends, getting to know different people, that there are many different types of spirituality out there and. And even zooming into intuition, that we all connect to our intuition in different ways. So some people are like, I saw this vision of something, and it came right through. And other people are like, I just knew it. Like, I had a firm knowing that this was the truth. And someone else might say, I heard something in my ear, something whispered to me, or I received a download. And someone else might be saying, I had this gut feeling in my stomach. And you might be like, I don't know. I've had experiences with all of these. Which one is mine? So this was a really big question I had. What is my unique type of intuition? And that's why I've put together a free quiz that you can take in just 90 seconds to understand your unique type of intuition. So are you claircognizant, the person who just knows? Are you clairsentient, the person who feels things somatically in your body? Are you clairvoyant, the person that sees visions, dreams? Or are you clairaudience, the person that hears things?
Things?
And then how can you actually integrate this into your life? How can you begin to trust your intuition? How can you begin to have a better relationship with your intuition? So you know the difference between the voice of your intuition and the voice of your fear? Because that's the big, eternal question. How do I know if this is really my gut guidance or if it's just me being afraid or carrying conditioning and that's what we further dive into in our programs at the Highest Self Institute. So let's get started with understanding your type of intuition. Then I'll be guiding you on how you can actually even create a career using your intuition first and foremost. So head over to the Show Notes to take my free quiz. Discover your unique type of intuition. My top two are claircognizant and clairaudient, I would say. So I'm curious what yours are, and I'm so excited to support you on the other side.
Do you believe that our souls chose these obstacles prior to incarnation, that we came in with a soul blueprint, you know, with certain soul contracts with people, or do you feel it is something that we are choosing and creating?
I believe we chose it all.
Do you believe it was a prior to incarnation, like a destined. You're going to go through this health challenge, this, divorce, this, that, or is it I'm here to learn liberation and then situations just show up.
I believe that. That we chose like every detail is chosen. And not before, but in the now. There's. In that place, there is no time, there's no past and there's no future. There's just all now and what we're. It's almost like the movie's already written for us. We're just given the benefit of seeing it play one way.
But is the movie written with the specific obstacle or also, is there a theme to each person's life?
Yes. And you can find it all in your astrology. You can find it all in your numerology. If you dig deeper, you can find it in your human design. If you dig deeper still, you can find it in your gene keys, right? And if you dig deeper still, you can even find it in mythology. And what you'll find is that all of these archetypes of challenge that you face are all predetermined in our context of what's pre. But again, it's you that's chosen at all. Because all that's happened is you're in an avatar right now. Call it a meat suit. And the meat suit is not able to access the higher self, except for through synchronicities, except for through those moments of samadhi, except for through the still point that you find in meditation. And as you start tapping into that more and more, then you're actually merging. And this also comes through hemisynchronization of the brain, the left and right hemispheres of the brain. And being heart led leads to authenticity. And that is actually where we all want to get to in this existence is pure and unadulterated authenticity. There was some research I just read recently about which emotional state carried the highest sort of amplitude along with it so that people could all feel. And I thought it was going to be love. It was actually authenticity, because authenticity, I realized, is love. So if you think about it, we have chakras, our lowest chakra. And I've struggled for a long time, okay, what's the opposite of love? What's the opposite of love? And I thought, okay, is it hatred that didn't really quite feel right for some reason, Is it fear? Right. And okay, that could also be courageous. There's a lot of things that didn't really match. And I know a lot of people that like, claim to hate someone, actually love the person, right? There's a love hate relationship that can exist there. So I started realizing maybe there's something more. And the nuance of this was that the lowest chakra, the root, is where we have our highest degree of conditionality being here on Earth. And conditionality comes from the word con, right? I just did a podcast with Matthias and we talked about this. And conditionality is con. It implies with or code. Like in order for the one to perceive itself, just like an eye can't see itself without the aid of a mirror, the one has to divide itself in order to perceive itself. And it creates a mirror, so it creates a mirror. Between you and me, we're separate, but we're not actually separate. These are just reflections. You represent an aspect inside of me that I'm not fully aware of. And the reason why you come into my field is so that I can integrate and understand that aspect of it and learn how to accept all of it as well. So as we go through the chakra system, you could say that the root chakra would be like one part love and six parts conditionality or judgment. And the basis and foundation of everything is duality. Duality exists in all higher dimensions too. It's not that it goes away. It's like trying to say, okay, yeah, once you moved up an octave and you're in a higher dimensional state, then all the lower dimensional stuff goes away. Not really. That'd be like looking at a, an advanced, or what we would call a hyper polytrope, right? So you know, you've got a hyper polytope, and these hyper polytopes are higher dimensional, but the second dimension is still there. It's still part of the drawing, right? It's still part of the same geometric form. You can't get away from that. There's no getting away from it. You have to have it. And so what happens is we start to realize that as we go up the chakras, each chakra becomes another dimension. So you got the first dimension, which is a line. The second dimension becomes a sacral and it forms the shape of an X, right or cross. So you've got the line of masculine, and the vertical line of the feminine also represents where heaven and earth meets. Then you go to the sacral and the sacral now gives us depth. So I've got a Z axis. No longer just the X and Y axis, I've now got a Z axis coming across it as well. And then we go to the fourth dimension, which is the heart chakra. So the heart chakra represents our relationship with time. We have to realize that everything in this universe is all about now. And we're just persistently seeing it only going one direction from a time perspective. So once we start to realize and transcend and understand that now, the heart is the first time. It's four parts love and three parts judgment. You tip the balance that allows you the next entry into time. The throat chakra, five parts love, two parts judgment, that becomes the bridge between the heart and the brain. And that's when you start to get in the fifth dimension, the fifth chakra, the fifth dimension. So now you've got a pentaract, right? So you've got a tesseract in the fourth dimension and you've got a pentaract in the fifth dimension. The sixth and seventh merge together. The pineal, the male, the pituitary, the female. They come together and form the crown together. And so now you're going into the seventh dimension, in effect as a representation. It's not saying that we're going seven dimensional. If you're seventh dimensional, you're not going to be here anymore. Right, that's. That's kind of the point. Those higher dimensions, I call them omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient would be 7, 8 and 9 dimensions. So each one of these different aspects of yourself are representing the degree to which you are transcending the duality and raising your awareness towards more and more unconditionality of love and what is the ultimate conditionality. And last time we talked about narcissism, right, we talked about narcissism and a lot of people got triggered by it. And I talked and said that I believe that narcissism is part of the critical path for anyone's ascension. They just don't necessarily know it. And we have different types of narcissism. We have covert and we have overt narcissism. And overt would be more like we associate with, you know, in popular culture and in psychology. But in psychology as well, they understand covert narcissism. A covert narcissist is one who says, oh, I can't go out tonight because I'm just completely sad about all the rainforest being depleted. And you understand what it's like to be me as an empath. I've got to basically live with this and my life is difficult. And then everyone is expected to kind of fawn over them. And this is covert narcissism. They just don't even know it, right? They, you could be so empathic that you, you know, it's kind of like intolerance. At a certain level you become so tolerant that you become intolerant of intolerance. So people that say, oh no, we should have tolerance everywhere, but then they become intolerant of intolerance itself. You see what I'm saying? You see, that's how it's like the piece of paper that's being twisted. That's the twist part of the loop when you become intolerant of intolerance, right? This is sort of the far degree of duality. So as we go up the chakras and we're moving more and more towards this, what we're really getting towards is removal of the mask. Because as we live our lives, we're born into separation. We want to be with our mother, but we can't be with our mother anymore at the same time. And so, you know, we're out of the womb and we start living all these different things that build our ego, that build our separation, that build our Persona. We have to learn how to cope. We have to create coping mechanisms and all of this for traumas that we experience. And then what happens is we get to about 40 years old, 35, you know, you first, you have a narrow brush with like disaster when you're late 20s and then you get into like 40s and you're like, okay, why does it seem like that the whole world is not like I thought it was, like, everything seems off. And so then you start realizing that seems like you're surrounded by assholes. And then you finally notice the correlation that, wait a minute, if I'm surrounded by assholes, am I the asshole? So you're starting to become self aware and this is when your life really starts to shift because then you start realizing all the stuff that you thought were facts were really just facets. And that what you had done is you had pushed all the things that you were not. So I am not that thing. I am not this, I'm not that. And you push it out of your personality into the outer world around you. And so the net result of that is you just keep finding the same things that you judged in yourself. And, you know, I felt the same way. It's like I finally woke up one day and noticed that all the things I'd been judging were things that I didn't like about myself. So this is when the narcissist starts to realize the narcissism is really just the fullest expression of your Persona, the mask. And once you get to the higher chakras, what you're really then given is the opportunity to see yourself in truth, the full self, the dark aspects, the things that you don't even want to recognize about yourself. Narcissism is not true self love. Narcissism is conditional love of the self. You think that you're only projecting one aspect of yourself and you want to hide all the rest. So as you get to the highest chakra, what you get to is not really just pure unconditionality, but it's authenticity. Because now you know who you are and you accept who you are. And authenticity is the path of enlightenment. It's when you become totally authentic and you're not worried about, like, you're not putting on airs to people. You could be completely vulnerable. You show up, your heart chakra is open, wide open, and you just don't give a shit what everyone else is going to think. You're just going to express authentically. And that expression of pure authenticity has a huge impact on everyone in the world around you. Because a lot of people, you know, fall in this trap of saying, oh, you know, I was so bad, I did all these things wrong. I'm not good enough, therefore I'm going to change. My family has all this karma. Did you know that? You know, somewhere back in my history, they did really horrible things. So then I'm going to change my name. That's the manifestation of it. So I'm going to change it to something like the one or light or something like that. And because I don't want to associate with any of that bad part of my karmic history, I don't want to carry any karmic debt. Well, the fact is, the individuation path is just learning pure and perfected Authenticity. That's what the Aeon is. That's what Carl Jung's individuation path actually is. Is when you can fully know yourself and accept it. And it's not good enough to just say no, it's unconditional love. Love and light. Love and light. No, that's not what this is about. Because if you don't know your own darkness fully, it's easy to say love and light. It's when you know fully your own darkness and can fully accept it and have experienced it in a spiritual life simulation game that is built around experiential learning. Which is exactly what we're all here doing. So that's a long answer to your question. But narcissism is a core aspect of the path for everyone. The earth is becoming super narcissistic right now. Because we're about to fully awaken. That's what's up. And it's a critical part of this whole awakening path.
It reminds me of spiral dynamics where in each level of consciousness there becomes a focus towards the individual and then a focus towards the collective and individual and collective. And so narcissism would be this hyper focus on the individual. Now the light in that is. I'm not talking about like clinical narcissism. I think what we're referring to is something that's in all of us, right? This spirituality can be inherently narcissistic because we're hyper focused on the self. We're analyzing the self where our full focus is going inward to a level that it could be even obsessive. Right? And I know this word narcissism can be very triggering. But what the medicine, you know, of Wachuma really showed me was all the ways that I was a narcissist. And it was interesting because my dad was very narcissistic. But like, more on the, like actual, like clinical route. And so my biggest fear growing up was I never want to be a narcissist because I can see how much it hurt it. It hurt my family unit. So I went more empath route. You know, feel what everyone in the family's feeling. The fixer, the rescuer, the coach, the teacher. And that led to me becoming hyper intuitive, which I was born. And then I believe even chose this father because it made me become so intuitive to just the way that he walked, like how he felt that day. However, my biggest fear that I had pushed away is like. But I could never be a narcissist. Let me be so asking people questions and listening to what they say so they like me, but even that was narcissistic. And so we need to learn that even in that, which is like going that people pleaser route, there is a level of nurses because it's self preservation. And then I think the deepest level to go beyond that is like there is no self to preserve. You know, it's like, who am I even trying to preserve? Like, I don't even really exist because the things I thought made my personality have shifted so radically over the course of my life. So it's like we're trying so hard to know this, this ever changing version of self that by the time you figured it out, it's already moved. It's a moving target. And then you can like release it. And I feel like this massive, like, release happens further along in your spiritual journey where it's like, you know, I know my gene keys and my numerology and my human design and all of that. And it's like. And I'm none of it.
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, exactly. So it's interesting. It's like as we start forming our personalities, we form it. Like, it's. It's akin to how I often lead, like, strategy sessions when I've worked at, you know, universities and done lectures. And one of the strategy sessions I did was at the executive MBA program at Northwestern Business School in Chicago. I did it for like eight years. And one of the things I talk about is sandbox analysis. So sandbox analysis is when you're trying to figure out what your unique selling proposition is for your product or service, or what it is that you can provide uniquely to the world. It's kind of like an ikigai kind of analysis. What are the things that you're good at? What are the things that you love to do? What are the things that the world will value, and what are the things that you can make money at, right? So all of those kind of come together in a Venn diagram and you're like, okay, that's my strategy. But actually another way to approach strategy is to start from the opposite, which is, let me talk about all the things I'm not. What are we not? And that's easier because then you can say, I'm not this, I'm not that, I'm not this, I'm not that. And then it narrows it down. And then you can do the ikigai analysis from there. So it's almost like another, you know, 50,000ft back. You could start to see it better. And. And so we do the same thing with Our personalities, whenever we feel shame or guilt, we're like, that's stung. I'm not that. That's not me. My father's a narcissist. I'm not that. That's not me. Right? So all the things that you are not, then what happens is, as you judge that thing that I am not, that you've taken it out of your ability to perceive it in yourself, but it's still there. And what happens is it just shows up as a reminder to you, all around you in the world around you. So then you get surrounded by people that are like, narcissists, and you're like, I'm not that. I'm not that. So whatever it is that you feel triggered to say, I'm not that. On, that's a moment, an opportunity for you to learn to lean in and to embrace. Because in this spiritual life simulation game, we learn through opposites. If, and you asked, is the game set up so that you know, like, everything is known in advance? And, well, there's some really specific stuff related to numerology. And really to think about how numerology, gene keys, lost octave, all these things could basically work together and be all right. I'm like, damn.
So do you think our soul chose our birth time and place so we would have that specific chart or that place created a different resonance based on that birth time and day?
I believe it's more like this. I believe that the one divides itself in the many for the joy of perceiving itself through our unique eyes of perception, each one of us being totally different. There's never been another Sahara Rose. There'll never be another Sahara Rose. So that's your unique purpose, is to experience life and fill the Akashic record, right? Inform the Akashic record through your emotional states based on your unique conditioning biases. And as your conditioning biases evolve and your belief systems evolve and you start to realize that the only cage that you live in is the one, your consciousness can only expand to the volume of the cage of your belief systems, whatever that is, right? And once you start to understand all these things, then you can start to see, hey, wait a minute. This has been me all along. I somehow chose all of this down to, like, abject level detail. But let's say there's a theme that you wanted to learn or you have noticed in your life. Let's say I wanted to learn unconditional love throughout my life. Unconditional love, or maybe a better way to put it is not even unconditional love. Maybe it's authentic love, truly authentic love. Love on top of the authenticity that was the highest amplitude of all of our emotional states. That's what it's all about. So if I'm here to learn truly authentic love, then I'm going to be inundated in my lifetime through the experience of opposites of that thing. Because every time I judge love conditionally, I'm going to judge the negative aspects of the fake love, right? I'm going to judge betrayal negatively. And it's only through understanding that the moment that I finally can learn to accept and integrate betrayal and not have this immediate, like, recoil and say, I am not that. I would never leave a man down. I would never hurt someone like this. I would never betray them like that. It's only when you finally can recognize and say to yourself, yeah, I can accept the betrayal. I'm not condoning it. I'm simply accepting that it exists and that it must exist in order for there to be unconditional love or truly authentic love. The moment that you finally can learn to accept betrayal when you see it happen to someone else or see it happening to yourself, is the moment that you finally learn unconditional love. And until that moment, you haven't learned it. So from that context, whatever you've chosen to learn and integrate in this lifetime, which I believe we are given, that it leads along with our conditioning biases and everything else, to a cascade of events that are uniquely suited to each one of these archetypes.
And I feel even different chapters of our lives are different teachings, you know, so do you feel that some people maybe only learn one theme because it takes them a whole lifetime to really learn that theme. And some people maybe take the speed track of, okay, unconditional love, go through the betrayal, like, really sit with it, feel all of the feelings, transmute it. That lesson learned, move on to the next one.
Yeah. And, you know, usually what happens is the way the universe will deal with your emotions is that the things that you judge will simply continue to get attracted by you. So we'll attract everything we judge until we no longer judge what we attracted. So the world all of a sudden gets populated with all these things that you're judging negatively until you finally realize, oh, wait, this is just me out there.
I know everyone's thinking, how do we become aware of what we're judging? Because we probably don't even know it.
That's right. And one of the key aspects of this is to stop yourself when you do find yourself in a judgy Situation like we know generally, right? Like I was very much triggered by Donald Trump, like historically, like super triggered by him. So if you're triggered by someone like Donald Trump, then look within, because there are aspects of Donald Trump that you want to deny in yourself. It's the nature of the universe. You know, if someone is like complaining about other people being arrogant, usually the people that complain about other people being arrogant are the most arrogant. It's the if you smelt it, you dealt it rule. And if you spot it, that means you got it.
We're bringing it back to kindergarten, y'.
All. That's right. So if you call someone else out on something, you know, that's not just some self righteous thing, that is you forming more of your narcissistic Persona, whether you know it or not. So I had to come to grips with the notion that why was it that I was so triggered by Donald Trump? And the reason I was is because I realized I had certain characteristics that were not too far away from his that I didn't like about myself. Whether you vote for him or not, I don't really care. I'm not even voting this time. And I don't even believe in, you know, this whole battle between left and right wing and, you know, all this stuff. It, this is, this is now at the stage in human development, it's time for us to be able to learn to transcend.
So does there ever come a place that we have no judgments, nothing we're afraid of, and can live in a state of bliss?
So I don't believe that our goal here on earth is to live in a perfect state of bliss. I think the way that you can live in a perfect state of bliss is by understanding the role of the suffering. So suffering for suffering's sake is just suffering? Right. But when I think of the word duality, what are the words that you would associate. If we played a word association game, what would the words be that you would associate with the word duality?
Right. Wrong. Dark, Light, masculine, Feminine. Left. Right.
Okay.
Opposites.
Opposites. Polarity. Right. You probably also think of like abundance and scarcity maybe on that list that you found and you could go down that entire list and then you would start to maybe even realize if you start contemplating each of these words that actually they're just a flip in polarity of the same thing. It's like differing degrees of the same thing. So in that context, do I know people that became so humble that eventually they became arrogant in their humility? Yeah, I do. I know plenty of people like that. In fact, it's like that for everything. When you start to really analyze it, you see everything is that Mobius paper that eventually flips on itself. You know, is Republican right wing or is Democrat left wing? Well, I mean, compared to the rest of the world, we shift right on pretty much everything, except for now, the last few years, I would say. But when you look at it, give me an example of a communist, truly communist regime, regime that did not become some form of a autocratic despotic rule or regime.
Yeah, we flip from extremes. Even in relationships. You date one type, oh, I will never date that type again. You go the opposite. It's like then this, and then you find what you believe is the opposite to that until, well, is there ever a time we find the perfect harmony?
I think the time we find the perfect harmony is when we finally learn not to judge negatively all the things that we basically attracted. So if you want to take on deforestation and you realize now this is a principle, that anything you're feeling inside, the anger that you feel inside for deforestation is merely going to reflect on the world around you with more and more deforestation. And if you actually understood that by your actions to try to stop or repress any notions of reforestation within yourself, callousness, when you go visit a forest or state forest or whatever, that you're actually creating more of it by fighting against it. What we resist will always persist in this world dynamic. So I believe fundamentally that we have this opportunity to learn for ourselves and to see, wait, I'm actually creating this reality around me. And then you could start to think about things like this duality, which, when, if I were going to ask you, what number do you think of when you think of duality, do. It's two, right?
Yeah. I think of 11.
You think of 11. Okay, so you got 11, but that's still two because one plus one equals two. So you've got duality. So the one that was the one was divided into two. Okay, so let's just unpack this for a moment. So what would you associate with duality then? Maybe scarcity, maybe suffering, maybe difficulty.
Pain and beauty.
Pain and beauty. Okay, and let's say that you wanted to find the essence of duality and you wanted to find the mathematical way to describe the essence of duality. What might it be? It'd be like the spirit. It's the part of duality that lives on. Right.
And it's infinite juxtaposition, contrast.
How about the square root function? Because the square Root can make itself as a number. Right. So you could say the square root of two becomes like the spirit or the essence of the number two. And the number two becomes its compression for the infinite number series, compression of data. So if we take that analogy and take it a bit further. So the square root of 2 is 1.4142, and 1.4142 times itself equals 2. Now if we add that to the square root of three, we think of the square root of three. What do we think of when we think of the square root of three?
What number or what triangle?
So you think of three, maybe Trinity.
Exactly, right? Yeah. And there's always like three perspectives.
Okay, Always like three perspectives to come to triangulate the truth or something. Right. Okay. So what would be the essence then of the number three using the same analogy I just used on the number two harmony, the square root of three. So I just said the square root of two is its infinite essence. Right. And yes, there's a harmony with three, without a doubt, the major third. The major third is the music of love. That is the music of love. So you've got the square root of two, which becomes the infinite form of the number two itself. And every conversation that ever existed, ever will exist, is inside that number string in a non repeating, non patterned number set. It goes on forever. The decimal extension. The square root of three is the essence of the Trinity, the divinity, the divine aspect. So if we add the square root of two, which we associate with suffering and difficulty and challenge and scarcity and all that stuff, and we add it to the square root of three, what does that number come out to? PI. So like the square root of 4 is 2. 2 times 2 is 4, right? So start here. You got it. Okay, so what's the square root of 9 then? It's 3. 3 times 3 equals 9, right?
Yes.
Okay, so 16 is 4 times 4, 5 times 5 is 25. So the square root of 25 is 5. So now it's a number that you can form from itself. It can form itself because it's already got all the information it needs to form itself. Right. Well, for numbers that are non perfect square values like 25 and 16 and 4 and 9, those have perfect square values. So therefore it's just an integer value that becomes a square root value. But as soon as it's a non perfect square like 17, then it's going to be, instead of four being its square root, it's going to be four point something, some fraction on the end of that. Well, let's say we take this analogy and we say the suffering and difficulty is associated with square root of two, the essence of duality. And it's 1.4142. And the essence of the Trinity is 1.732. We add those two together, Divinity and suffering, and they equal PI. And what does PI imply? PI implies a circle, doesn't it? So wait a minute, you're suffering now just went from one segment of a line segment to becoming full circle. There's a reason for the suffering. When we understand the aspect of divinity is why we're here, to suffer. Suffering for suffering's sake is just freaking suffering. But when you understand that you're suffering for a reason, then it has a different value. Everything shifts. So as an example, the symbol for the square root of two looks just like the symbol for Saturn. Look at the symbol for Saturn. It looks like a square root of two. And in music, the square root of two is the diminished fifth. It literally divides everything. It's the dun dun, dun, dun, dun dun dun. It's like the music that people don't like to hear. It's the devil's tritone. The square root of two of duality, the separation between light and dark is always like the introduction of something dark, right? So now I just said, but if you have the context of the square root of three, you come full circle to 3.146. It's approximately PI. And then if I look at what degrees, number of degrees are ascribed to that suffering on that circle, it comes out to be 161.816 degrees. That's exactly the golden number. The symbol for the square root of two is matching the symbol for Saturn, which is represented by the element or the metalloid of lead. So wait a minute. When I understand that suffering is not just suffering by itself, but the suffering has a purpose. And it's in the context of taking me towards my divinity, then it becomes lead into gold. You see what I'm saying? And that's what we have to start to realize, is that the suffering that we experience is not just for suffering. It's here to advance us. So the most difficult heartbreaks, the most challenging of circumstances, the most, you know, painful exercises are now seen in a new light, in a new context. Because your heart was broken, you found higher authenticity within yourself. And that was a gift that you never thought would be perceivable as a gift when you experienced it. You see what I'm saying, how history changes? So in that context, anything that happens to you you now can start looking at it and saying, this is my.
Path to divinity and it's teaching you the other. I remember when my heartbreak happened. Even though I did not know how and I did not know all this math stuff, I was like, this heartbreak is going to be the very reason why I have the truest love in this lifetime. And if it wasn't for the heartbreak, I wouldn't have gone on the path of the love devotee really diving into it to the level that I have. And I had to learn the inverse. I had to learn the suffering, I had to learn the pain. I had to be brought to my knees. The heart literally had to be cracked open. To open, right, you've got to break something open. And I feel that a lot of times we want the path to always be easy. You know, that's like the Abraham Hicks, like spiritual thing that often gets us like at first interested of like, well, if I'm going to do spiritual things, because then I will like always live in a state of ease and it will always be. And we, we wouldn't grow, we wouldn't learn, we would actually live in the highest form of suffering without these, you know, forgings in the fire, you know, and it's like what you spoke about, it's the process of alchemy that the ancient Egyptians were speaking about for thousands of years of bronze needs to go through stages, right? It needs to and you know, all the stages more in depthly. But that bronze turns into gold, that mud turns into lotus. And so when we're in the experience of the pain of the suffering of the thing that seems so unfair. I feel the way to Quantum Leap time is to ask ourselves in that moment, what is this teaching me? If my soul chose this right now, why? And then all of a sudden you start to get really curious and then you're world view on it expands and then you're like, huh, this is a really unique curriculum my soul signed up for here. I wonder why I'm in this master class and.
Exactly.
And then it's like, I must now experience what's on the other side of this betrayal. I'm going to experience trust. And I do find as we get more in tuned with the subtle energy, it doesn't need to be so bleak, right? It doesn't need to be this like huge like thing you didn't see coming. I feel like those are like the ways that we can start to speak the language of the universe. And then it starts to feel into this subtle little contraction and then we can adjust that contraction. We can have that expansion and then continue to kind of move through life as the Pac Man Games. And they're kind of bumping and bumping. We're kind of bumping through the resistance rather than getting stuck in one point of the resistance.
Yeah. And this whole thing is the path to this higher authenticity. And, you know, being able to perceive that, yes, what I'm going through is difficult. You know, I went through. I've had a very. This year has been crazy year for me, but in the last couple of months, I've had probably some of the hardest two months of my life. And I went through a major heartbreak, and I'm still going through it. And it's. You know, I did a podcast on it for those of you interested. Go check out my podcast. And I did it with my. With my ex girlfriend as well. And it was very painful. And who knows? We may end up back together again. I don't know, right? I really don't know. But I'm grateful that it cracked my heart wide open, because the heart really. It breaks so that it can expand. The ego permanently breaks. So it's like each time you experience this, you realize that you're going through, as Richard Rudd puts it, a series of softenings where your heart expands through heartbreak. And that expansion continues to the point where you start to perceive and transmute pain that you experienced into higher purpose. That's when you can experience bliss all the time. And so you're resilient. Doesn't matter what circumstance you're facing or what you end up doing, you can find bliss in that moment. It reminds me of this movie, the Last Samurai. It had Tom Cruise in it. I don't know if you saw that movie, but at the very end, I can't remember the name of the actor, Watanabe or something, but it was this Japanese actor, and he's getting killed on the battlefield. And the sakura, which is a cherry blossom, it only happens like, two weeks out of a year in Japan. I used to live in Tokyo, and we'd wait for the cherry blossoms come. It's really beautiful. And this. The wind picked up this cherry blossom until, like, was starting to float right in front of his face. And he was in the process of dying. And he just looks at the cherry blossom. He's like, perfect. And then he dies. It's like classic Japanese style, right? Death. You get to have an honorable death type of thing. But when we can actually abandon seeking perfection and actually see it in everything around us, even the Difficulty, even the challenge, and remain authentic and go through the difficulty and pain, not bypass it. Know that it's there, but realize it's all for higher purpose. That is the bliss of enlightenment.
So well said. Oh, we're all going to take that home. So where can listeners connect with you further, listen to your podcast, watch your shows, and learn more from you?
They can go to robert edwardgrant.com on my website. I have a podcast called Think Tank also that I've had you. You know, it's like, it's something that has been a real passion of mine this past year, and it's great to have you there as well. And you can also find me on Instagram and all the other platforms you know, you could find, all under the same brand name. And I have a new book coming out called Philosopher. My. My first two books were Philomath and Polymath. They've done really well. And those are on Amazon. And the new book will be coming out also on Amazon. And, you know, when we start to realize that this whole world around us is all just reflections of us, it becomes a playground. And this is the stage of Leela, that moment that you realize it's a game and you're having fun playing the game. And I am so blessed because I get to play this game with people that I'm really close friends with. And I'm on a huge scavenger hunt to find ourselves. And it's the most beautiful thing. And as we raise our consciousness, all the ancient civilization stuff becomes more and more in our memory, because it's also our future. All the stories that we've heard about, about Lemuria and Atlantis are the stories that we are yet to do. All the legends and myth that you hear are all the things that you are actually living out now. So it becomes a mirror of everything. And the nice thing about being in a mental matrix is that the only thing you have to do to change the ment matrix is change your perception, become aware. It's all about capturing awareness. It's the awareness that actually changes the world, not by our action. Once we're aware of something and put that into action, then the whole world will reverberate like a butterfly effect. And that's what we're experiencing now. And it's so beautiful. And it's going to be, I'm not going to lie, it's going to get kind of crazy over the next few years. It already is, because this is just part of the transition we're going through to a new Earth. Paradigm and it's Earth. You are th. It's like the little cafe. This is a new Earth paradigm that we're going to be going into over the course of the next five years. And the dividing line between those who have chosen to experience more duality. And it's not bad, because we need the people who have decided to experience more duality because it's only through the opposite of actions, right? So every action must need, must always have an equal opposite reaction. That's Einstein, that's Newton, and several others have said that throughout history, in order for certain people to ascend, certain others have to decide not to. They're just. Their path here in this environment, in this circumstance, is not yet to ascend. So they're just going to be here longer. And by the way, when we die, we can't wait to come back. Earth is not an escape room that we're meant to, like, try to get out of and escape out of like some escape room in downtown la. It is either heaven or hell. And it's by our choice that we make that. And I know that sounds so difficult for some people to recognize, but I've known people that have been born in the most challenging of circumstances that found their way to make that world heaven. And it's not financial success. It's not having and having not. It's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about lasting real satisfaction and contentment. When you don't need anything, you become the wealthiest person on earth. So to me, this is the stage that we're going through. And because some people have chosen not to ascend and other people have chosen to ascend, it enables those who have chosen to ascend to ascend. One has to happen. It's like a seesaw. It has to be this way. And that's what we're experiencing right now. So I don't even judge the people that are going to continue on in.
That paradigm because they provide us with the contrast.
They provide us with a contrast. It's not an escape room. The only way to transcend beyond this Earth paradigm is to fall in love with it, just as it is to fall in love with it. Just like true authenticity requires us to fall in love with ourselves just as we are.
And even true love is to fall in love with the person just as they are.
That's right. And that's the panacea. That's what everybody wants, right? That's the, this mythical goal. And we will want to see if it's possible, if love could be chosen like that.
And we can just choose it right.
Now, and we can choose it with our. With everybody on Earth. We're all just divisions of this number one that has chosen to divide itself so that it can perceive itself through our unique eyes. And relationships become the most critical aspect of this whole thing. Because relationships form the mirror for us to find the things within ourselves that are triggering us. And the things that trigger us within ourselves are the things that. That's what we're going to turn our attention to, work on and learn to integrate and accept within ourselves. Same thing. All the things we get triggered in the outside world, those are the things that we have to start to look within and see. Why is it that trigger me? Instead of asking, why did something happen to me? Ask ourselves the question, why did I choose this? And then earth life becomes a beautiful existence. And that's where the cycle continues. It will continue for some in one way, and it'll continue for others in another. And the division line of who chose to do what is going to be a line of authenticity. It's all going to be about authenticity.
And I feel the opposite of judgment is also preferences. And to drop all of these preferences we have, which are the egos need to control of, like, well, I need this to be this way. I need my relationship to be this way. I need to be da, da, da, da. And it's like those things make us miserable. If we just truly just let go and whatever is is perfect, then we're free.
Judgment is a source of suffering, but suffering, paradoxically, is a source of enlightenment.
So I guess keep judging to get enlightened.
When you stop judging is when you no longer attract those things. And then you enter into a new realm. But you'll know the moment that you're like, okay, I'm over this now. I'm over the judging. I want to accept myself. It's not about I want to accept the world around me. It's I want to accept myself. The moment I can accept myself is when I can stop judging the world. The moment I can fall in love with myself is when I can fall in love with the world. You can only love others to the capacity level that you can love yourself.
And to love those ugliest versions of ourselves that we've created all of these masks to hide.
Yeah, we create all these masks. And so the ultimate. That's that. That was the whole metaphor of COVID Right? The whole metaphor of COVID And the pandemic was really so that we could realize that we're all wearing masks. And we all thought our truth is the objective truth, you know, I can't believe how easy this is. You know, what an easy world this is. I used to say this about my parents. When I was 15 years old, I was like, wow, I woke up this morning, my parents just became really dumb and they don't know anything and they can't judge things, right? Of course they have to vote Republican or of course they have to vote whatever. And they should just get rid of anyone who's, you know, murder, murderers and everything should all just be, you know, punished. And we should have capital punishment. And it's all black and white. And when you're very young, your life becomes one of very black and white orientations. And then you finally get a little older and you get to 22. And I was astounded how smart my parents became in the last seven years. Mark Twain, who says this too. Then when I was 30, I was like, wow, my parents are genius. Oh my gosh, how they've navigated so well. And I got into my 30s and 40s, I realized that the world wasn't blacks and whites or black or white. It was shades of gray that then became shades of rainbow colors that then became 16.8 million colors on a high def screen, then became psychedelic colors.
It's interesting you brought up colors because my dream last night was a teaching around that we're born on the trajectory of a rainbow and each color is a different lesson season in our lives. Yet we can start to create our own rainbow by having more awareness of the color, diving deeper into the color. That's how we create the micro colors, the turquoise, the fuchsia, the magenta, by really being in that, by noticing the texture, feeling it. Whereas most people are just like, this is my life. I'm born, I'm this, I'm that. And it's like to really go in that deeper journey. Then you start to make these new rainbows of colors that have never existed before, these psychedelic rainbows. And so it's interesting because I was like, I wonder if that's going to come up in anyone's discussion today. And I think in life there is just no one. It's seasons, it's chapters, and we're never aware of the chapter that has passed until it's long before us. And to become awake within the dream is to realize, I'm in this chapter and I can feel myself now creating a new color, now creating a new chapter, rather than looking back on, oh yeah, those were the Good old days. It's like, so what are the next days? And that's how we can become conscious creators of our reality.
Yeah. It's so beautiful, this experience. You know, there are three types of people in the world. I used to say two. Those that don't believe in miracles, those that do believe in miracles, and the people that don't believe in miracles will never experience miracles. By definition, this universe is not that we get what we deserve. It's a universe that we get what we expected we were going to get. It's based on our belief systems. So if you don't believe in a miracle existing, then you're never going to experience the miracle. So that's just one way to, like, look at the world. Then the people that believe that life itself is the miracle. Right. Is the second group, they realize that, yeah, they believe in miracles, and therefore life itself is the miracle. And then a third type is the people that believe that they are the miracle. And it's literally this progression. I don't believe in miracles. I start believing in miracles, and I realize that life itself is a miracle and that I am actually the miracle. That's just an encapsulation of this individuation path and realizing that all these things that you thought were your flaws, your foibles, all your character traits that were unseemly are actually those things that you were meant to bring to this existence and to live authentically. And it's like when a cheetah realizes at some point in time, maybe a cheetah or the ugly duckling thinks, oh, I wish I was a different kind of duck, like a mallard or something like that. They're prettier when they're, you know, babies and. And I'm not so pretty as a baby swan. And then you realize that you're a swan. And the swan is so majestic and so beautiful. And the universe, I think, derives joy from that. When we find what we were always intended to be and live in that truth and live in it authentically, and don't try to put airs on it and don't try to wear masks for it, just allow yourself to be it. And then you're going to fly. See it, then you'll be it. You know, if you want to change the world, change how you look at it. You know, if you want to see more love in the world, then be the love. If you want to see more kindness in the world, then be the kindness. If you want to see more compassion in the world, then be the compassion. Be the change you want to see.
