Sandi L Boucher tells people labeled "too much" that the problem isn't them. When others feel uncomfortable around your loudness, intelligence, or opinions, it's a mismatch, not a flaw. Stop shrinking yourself to fit.

This is a message for the too much crowd. You know who you are. The people all of us were told we're too loud, too intelligent, too opinionated, we laugh too loud. We're just too much. Well, in the exact same way that I taught you to add, yet every single time you think, well, I can't do that yet. I don't know how to do that yet. I don't know how to write a book yet. I don't know how to start my own business yet. You have to do the exact same thing. When someone implies you're too much, just remember you're too much for them and we can respect that. People don't like loud laughter. That's okay. That doesn't mean my loud laugh that there's anything wrong with it. It's just too much for them. If someone thinks I'm just too intelligent, well, I'm too intelligent for them. It's just creator trying to give you a hint of who you need in your world and who you don't. So don't judge them and don't change who you are because you're not too much to me.
