So when's the last time you sat down and counted your blessings? And would that be hard for you to do? Let's talk about that. Hello, everybody. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loom clan, a proud member of Saint River First Nation in Treaty 3 Territory in Northern Ontario. And this week I thought I would finish off the week with just a reminder to count your blessings. And I know that is a very Christian oriented phrase, but it kind of works. The reality is, as Anishinaabe Kwe, as an Ojibwe woman, it's a huge part of our culture to. To reflect, to learn from the past, to look at how we behaved in that conversation. The actions we took this week, did that make us proud? Did that make us a better person? Did we do what we should have done? Not to beat ourselves up, but to learn from it? Did we get the reaction that we wanted? What could we do differently next time? To be the person we want to be, the person that would make our ancestors and our descendants proud? What do we have to do differently? So that's what I asked in today's blog post. And as always, the original post is below this video. But I asked or encouraged you to look back at your week and what are the things you can celebrate that you knocked out of the park? What are the times that maybe you gotta adjust? That's where confidence comes from. Well, that's where wisdom comes from. The reflection and the learning. Again, not about judgment and condemnation. We're all humans. We're just trying to do the best we can, and often we don't. But if we learn from it, then it's worth the time. So as you go into this weekend, and as I said in the blog post, I hope you have some quiet time this weekend. I hope you're not one of those people that scheduled the daylights out of your weekend so you never feel like you get a break. You're working Monday to Friday and then you're scheduling the daylights out of your weekend. I hope you take some quiet time outside at a beach or under a tree or whatever the case may be, in a lawn chair in your backyard. It doesn't matter. Take some quiet time, sip a nice coffee, a cup of tea, nice iced tea, whatever the case may be, and reflect on your week. Learn from it, pat yourself on the back for the things you did amazing, and learn from the rest. And I will see you next week. I love you. Take care. Bye. Bye.
