So I believe I am Now Live on YouTube and Julia Gibson and I just did our zoom event and we had some people come out and we've had the most, absolutely amazing discussions. I will be releasing it as a video, so don't worry. You didn't miss anything. I am just playing around with a new streaming program program right now, and I've an invite to Julia.
Hello.
And there she is. So, Julia, just so you know, we are live on my YouTube channel right now.
Oh, my goodness.
Yay. It was. So I was just explaining to the viewers that we just finished the zoom meeting and it was amazing. That was.
That was amazing, right? Yeah.
So it was totally not scripted. We had no. Welcome to my world. We had no idea who was going to show up or what questions. And I don't know. Like, I guess I was thinking there were some parts that were very book specific, but there was also parts that were general reconciliation conversations. Right.
And both two of the participants had very powerful reconciliation stories that were current with them that were very much going on for them right now and that were really. They were very different from one another, but also really key to the theme of, you know, greater understanding between Butu and us all.
Yeah, it was really.
It was really powerful.
Yeah, it was. And it was. It was powerful. It was informative, but it was also comfortable. Like, I. Some people think these conversations are, like, verging on painful, that they have to be incredibly uncomfortable. And that was anything but uncomfortable.
And people were really vulnerable.
Yeah. Yeah.
They were really sharing some deep things. And deep. And sort of, you know, I mean, it was deep. People didn't have to say what they said, you know, that they don't. They know you, but they don't know you. They don't know you in real life 100 and there is a difference between real life and not real life 100 and they didn't know me at all.
Yeah.
And they said things that were very, you know, personal.
Yeah.
And it was really. So they trust you.
Yeah.
I mean, that was clear. They trust you. But that was. It was an atmosphere where they could do that.
Yeah. Which is kind of what you described about working with me. Right. So it was definitely that living and breathing, the safe space. Yeah. They were incredibly honest, incredibly transparent and vulnerable. Like you said, the humility. I think if there's a theme for that conversation. Right. It was like, you want to know what humility looks like? Watch this.
Well, and speaking of that word, I loved what you pointed out to me. So after our last session, I said, oh, I didn't like my voice, and I'm going to do this. This differently. And you said, remember humility, hon? And that was a really good lesson for me.
Yeah, Very helpful.
So, yes, humility was the theme.
Yeah. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less. Right. And I think everyone on that call, well, it was obvious they were thinking of someone else. Someone else they wanted to support, to connect with, to know, make sure that person knew they were loved and accepted exactly the way they are. It was all about. And, okay, when they quote my quotes back to me, like, humility builds bridges. Ego burns them. It's like, and I am done.
And they weren't blowing their own horn either.
Not at all.
What a great person I am for doing these things.
Not at all. The egos were not in the room.
No.
Humility was there. And I think that's why it was comfortable and it was safe and. And it was awesome.
Good.
Just like you, because you're awesome.
Oh, you're you. We're both awesome. And your followers are awesome.
Oh, right. And that's why I said, I love my life because look at the quality of the people I get to work with, present company included.
So I want you to also look.
Look at the.
The visuals and how our two backgrounds are kind of. We almost look like we're in the same room.
Isn't that amazing? Isn't that cool?
Like that there's a slant to my ceiling. But then it's. It just looks like it's kind of a. Of a collage.
I love it. And you know what? I will admit, and we know present times is a little volatile and things are a little crazy, and we're going to be doing our book tour, but I'm going to be joining virtually just because.
Because.
But I most definitely have set an intention and a goal that my tush is getting to that location at some point, because that is just the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
So I like it. We got good intention. Yes.
Yes, yes, yes. Okay, well, I'm gonna let you go. I have to go master a video and get it ready for release. And thank you so much for joining me on this little experiment and everyone watching this. Stay tuned because you're gonna love this video.
There's a. There's a response. We're both awesome.
Back at you, Dr. K. Do you see that? Yes. Oh, my God, I do. Thank you for that. I did not know chat was an option on here. Oh, my God. This is. Okay. I'm enjoying this. This is. I'm definitely going to be using this in the future. Ah, I love it. Love it. Dr. K, I have no idea who you are, but thank you. You are awesome too.
Very.
Okay, go off, enjoy your day. And thank you so, so much. Take care. Bye. Bye. Love you. Bye.
