Hello, you absolutely amazing, super duper, double delicious person. Got a question for you. Do you know when to quit? I know I do. And yesterday was one of those days, even though I always employ the four sacred tools of reconciliation. Yesterday. Let's talk about it. Bonjour. Hi, everybody. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan, a proud member of Seine River First Nation in Treaty 3 Territory in Northern Ontario. Today we're talking about quitting and why. Sometimes that is exactly what you need to do. But before we discuss that, in my third book, the Path, I talked about the four sacred or essential tools involved in reconciliation. Now, of course, in the book I'm talking about Canadian Indigenous reconciliation, but it applies to any reconciliation, whether you've had a fight with a colleague, a co worker, your partner, your teenage child, whomever, a best friend, whomever. Now, the four sacred tools spell out the word path just to make it easier for you. The P is for patience. You may not be able to solve this by Tuesday, especially when we're talking national reconciliation, but especially. Or it can apply to a personal relationship too. By the way, ignore me. I'm sweating here, fogging up my glasses. It is 5:20am I'll explain in a minute. Patience is the picture. The away. The away. The A is for awareness, being aware of what's going on for the other person. Do you know what's going on in their world? Have you asked them? Tenacity is not giving up. We'll touch on that in a bit. And then the H is for humility. Going into it, owning your part of it, taking responsibility. You are half of this feather, after all. So that's super important. But as I said yesterday. Yesterday, I quit. Not completely. I would never do that. But I definitely quit temporarily. You see, I had some stuff going on in my world, stuff that had robbed me of a good night's sleep. I have long said I can't do my life without a good night's sleep. Yesterday. And then there was some family stuff that happened first thing in the morning. I was happy to be there for my family member, but again, that delayed things. Then I had a very important meeting to attend. Did some IT stuff in the morning that went amazing. Had this meeting that was challenging at best. And after that, it was like, for one, I have not eaten. For two, I am exhausted. Three, I haven't done tomorrow's video yet. So I'm not a quitter. I went into my office, I had some food before I fell on my face. I headed in here to my office and shot my video. Didn't think I was gonna have time to master it, but wanted to check it out, replayed it. That's when I realized it had no sound. And that's when I quit realizing that either that was not the video I was meant to be doing, or definitely it was not the video I was meant to be doing at that time. Long story short, I was in bed at 8pm last night, not even kidding. I got up at 4. I'm already showered. I'm now shooting this video. It's going to be a little late on YouTube but it'll be on time for my email list. It's the video that I wanted to send out. It worked and I knew that my followers on YouTube may be disappointed. It's a little bit late, but they'd also not want me to sacrifice my mental health so that they would be supportive. I am fogging up my glasses because like I said, I just got out of the shower. My hair is still wet. It's a little hot in here. Going to turn on my little fan. So I would never quit completely on my dream or on anyone that matters to me. But sometimes you gotta say Mia. Sometimes you gotta say enough for today. Sometimes you gotta recognize I don't have the skills right now. I don't have the coping mechanisms. I don't know have what I need to deal with this. And it's best to back away before things get worse. I am feeling on top of the world. Today I'm traveling. Today I'm heading back to London, Ontario to work with London Health Sciences Center. It's a group of people I absolutely adore. The conversations and questions are always the best and I can't wait. I feel like me today. I didn't yesterday. So yesterday it was wise for me to quit. So I'm dying to hear in the comments. When do you know it's time to quit? To back away from the table? Not permanently, but today. Where's your line? What's the hints and tips and clues that you feel in your body or in your mind? What tips and tricks does Creator send you? When do you know it's time to back away? I'm dying to hear. Maybe I can learn something from your tips and tricks. After all, you carry wisdom too. Till tomorrow. I'm going to be shooting tomorrow's video from my hotel room in London. I'm certain you won't mind and I promise it's gonna go out on time because today I am on top of the world. I am rested. I am good to go. It's gonna be an awesome trip. Until tomorrow. I love you. Take care. Bye. Bye. Excuse the way I look. I was just outside enjoying my backyard. But a little while ago, I shared how my son was now starting on his entrepreneurial journey. And for years now, I've been focused on legacy. What can I teach other people to do after I'm gone? What wisdom can I share with people that carries on after I'm gone? And now I can see that helping my son follow his own dreams while I'm here to pass on my experience and is part of that legacy. So now I'm shooting this video today because you have a chance to help me support my son. So his very first project I shared a little while ago was what we call the house planter box or the house number planter box. What would you call it? It has house numbers on it, but it's a planter. So now I want to show you what it looks like in real life. Here it is. Isn't it awesome? As you can see, it's really big. But the best part is these things slide out, right? That one, this is heavy and big. And this one, so you can put the soil in it and plant whatever you want with ease. You can change it. And of course, the numbers change based on your house. You have a chance to win this. Now, of course, we're going to change the numbers to match your house. They may have to be smaller if your house has three numbers or four numbers even. But for $10 a ticket or 20 for three tickets, you get a chance to win this beautiful planter. Trust me, it's gonna last. It is built to last. And I love those planter boxes. Buy your tickets today. As soon as we sell, I believe 50 of them, we have the draw. And I'll be doing updates on my Facebook page and in my YouTube community. Isn't this beautiful? I love it. Get your tickets today. Bye. Bye.
