Hi, everybody. Sandy Boucher here. And a rare nighttime recording on one of these videos. This is Sandy in real life. I actually just got back from the gym. And even though I had a very long, stressful and challenging day, I did go to the gym. And that's for one simple purpose. I made the promise. A couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine mentioned that she was looking for a workout buddy, and I agreed to do that. And we made plans and picked days and times and committed to going to the gym three times a week. Well, I can honestly say if it wasn't for that promise, there's no way in God's green earth this tush would have been at the gym tonight. And that got me thinking of all the times in my life that I've benefited because I honored a promise. I gave birth to my children. And with that act alone, I promised to be there for them. I promised to feed them and clothe them and raise them to be responsible, productive adults. I didn't promise to be their friend. I didn't promise to make life easy for them. I promised to give them the skills they would need to survive if something happened to me so that they can go on and thrive long after my time on this planet is done. That's what my mom did for me, and that's what I worked hard to do for my kids. I took a job and promised to do good work and diligent work for whichever employer it was at the time. And because of that, I built a reputation that I could be counted on and I was dependable, reliable. And that reputation has allowed me to build to where I am now. Running my own company, following my own dreams. And, yeah, the health achievements, the health goals that I've received of late. A promise to my trainer to show up for my appointments. And a promise to me to honor the gift that is this body and my health. So today, my friend, think of the promises you've made. Are you honoring them? And are you? Who are you hurting if you're not? I'd be willing to bet the only one you're hurting is you. Or someone very important to you. Maybe you haven't made enough promises. Maybe you should. It's worth thinking about. Have an amazing day or an amazing evening. And a great day tomorrow. Talk to you soon. I love you. Bye. Bye.
