How to Share This Month's Principle with Those You Love!

Sandi L Boucher explains how to teach people you love that their worth is inherent, not earned. She shares a story about losing her cat Oreo and getting a new kitten, then offers concrete steps: believe it yourself, say it out loud, criticize actions not people, and show abundant love.

Foreign. Hi, everybody. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan, a proud member of Seine river first nation in Northern Ontario. And I'm coming to you today with this week's personal power message. And before I say anything else, if you're noticing I'm looking a little rough because I'm feeling a little rough. And no, I don't mean hungover. That's not what I'm talking about. So for those of you who follow me on social media, especially my Facebook page, you would know that a little while ago, my family said goodbye to our dear sweet Oreo, a beautiful tuxedo cat that had been with her family for 19 years. She lived with me for three, going on four years, and she is missed every single day. But after a few days of intense crying and intense grief, I realized that I missed having a little fur ball in the house. That Oreo had taught me to love and care for another being. And I missed that I missed telling someone it was bedtime. Oh, did you just see that? Introducing Stormy. Stormy is all of eight weeks old, and Stormy arrived in my home yesterday. And so that means last night was our first night together. And Stormy thinks nighttime is playtime. So I'm a little tired. But the journey must continue with Stormy and with our personal power messages. So January, the first principle, your value was gifted to you on the day you were born. And no one can take that away from you unless you give them the power to do. And I've spent the month and these emails sharing different ways to reinforce that teaching so that you really adopt it as your own because it's an amazing foundation. Look at that little. Yeah, okay, try to focus on me, even though he's way cuter. So what am I doing this week? Well, this is actually the last video or last personal power message on this principle. Next Monday, we'll be looking at principle number two. So when I planned how I was going to do these messages, I decided that the last video of every month would focus on how to pass on this teaching. Because the reality is some people watch these because they want to increase their self esteem and their self confidence. But there's a lot of people that watch these that also want to or are watching it because they want to increase the self confidence and self esteem of someone they love, their child, their grandchild, whatever the case may be. So today we're focusing on how do you pass on this, tj? Well, first and foremost, you have to believe it's true. You have to Believe that you're sacrificing self, that you are priceless. And honestly, if you think about it, and I mentioned this previously, if you don't believe that, ask yourself why. Ask yourself, who told you that? Because somebody did. I don't think they know more than creator, so we can just disregard their opinion. You are priceless and so is your child or grandchild. Now, just as important, you have to say that there is a teaching that says when we hear negative things about ourselves, our spirit hears that and we'll take it in as truth. Unless we quickly say something the other side of the coin. We flip the coin, the counterbalance to that teaching. So if someone says, you know, well, you're not worth the air you breathe, you, even to yourself, you can think, well, that's not true. And I wish that person wouldn't say that. But I know my value was gifted to me on the day I was born. If you have children and grandchildren, wow, look at that. Okay, I'm going to try to stay focused. If you have children or grandchildren you're trying to empower, tell them they are priceless, tell them how valuable they are and talk to them when someone else puts them down and discuss, don't trash the other person. That's adding negative to negative. That doesn't help. But explain that that's just that person's opinion. You can use the example I gave about the price tag of the sweater in the store. Just because someone else told them they're less than doesn't mean their value comes down. So you have to believe it, you have to say it. And you have to choose really carefully your words when you do. Okay, let's use the word stupid. We've all done stupid things. When you do something stupid, make sure you say to yourself, that was stupid, not I am stupid. Huge difference. And when we're talking to our children and grandchildren, same thing. That wasn't the smartest thing you've ever done. Not, you're dumb. Talk about the actions. Talk about the deed that was done or not done, not about the individual. And then last but not least, love the stuffing out of them. Because nothing makes someone feel more valuable than being loved. And we always focus on the people that we wish would love us. What we need to do is surround ourselves with the people that do. So please, for your sake, go in the mirror and say, I love you. And say I love you as often as you can to your children and grandchildren, even if you are the first one in your family tree, your family chain, your family bloodline to say that in a long, long time because that's one of the things that was taken from us and we need to bring that back. I'm going to say this over and over. It's probably going to come up in future months. You are priceless and nothing is ever going to change that. I hope this video helped you out. I hope you like the introduction of Stormy and hope I. And I will see you next week with a brand new principle. I love you. Talk to you soon. Bye. Bye.
