So once again this week we are focused on an Indigenous worldview and I'm attempting to give you a little glimpse into how we look at things so that you can up your indigenous engagement game. And for my Indigenous followers, I hope you can relate with what I'm sharing. Monday we talked about the connection to the past and to spirit world. Yesterday I told you about my son because it was his birthday. Today I'm going to give you another glimpse into my future. I wonder if you can figure out who I'm going to talk about. Let's talk about it. Here comes Blue again. She's making an appearance in every video this week. She's being. She wants attention. I think it's feeding time. Anyways, as I was saying, Misko poking on Queen Edish the cost Monodam. Hi everybody. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loom clan, a proud member of Same River First Nation in Treaty 3 Territory in Northern Ontario. And this is Blue. And actually come to think of it, it's kind of perfect that she made an appearance in this video. Oh, now I have cat hair in my lip gloss. That was, that was smart. Why I say it's perfect that she's in this video is because I promised that today I was going to give you another glimpse into my future. Yesterday we celebrated my son's birthday. Believe it or not, today is my daughter's birthday. And I'm not telling you her age either. But I can tell you my daughter has been one of my greatest teachers. She has been at times a challenge, the exact challenge that I needed. She has been my biggest supporter. She has been a source of encouragement and never ending love. And then if all of that wasn't amazing enough, she ended up meeting the love of her life and and gifted me the joy of two amazing grandchildren. And I thought it was amazing watching my daughter grow up. But watching my daughter parent her children. My daughter is 100% better a parent than I ever was. And that is not an exaggeration. That is not me beating myself up. That is me owning the truth. And to watch how she nurtures them and cares for them and cares for their mental health and well being with their physical health and making sure they're eating nutritious food and getting in exercise. In my day and age, we didn't even think about those things. It's really fortunate that our children turned out healthy at all considering we didn't think about those things. But I did mention that it was so perfect that Blue joined me for this video because Blue lives with me thanks to my daughter. She was actually astray. She had been abandoned and she was living in the area where my daughter's home is, where my daughter and her family live. And my daughter noticed her and made a point of putting food out for her and eventually started petting her, got her into a rescue where they were able to make sure that she was healthy and clean her up. And then when it came time to find her a home, well, that's where I came in. So on this day, Lou and I say happy birthday to my daughter. Another glimpse into my future. That or the future that I definitely do not worry about. She is everything I am and so much more. Happy birthday, baby girl. Tomorrow, another glimpse into indigenous worldview. No more birthdays, right, Blue? Until tomorrow. I love you. Take care. Bye bye.
