Looking at Life Through Different Eyes ...

Sandi L. Boucher reflects on how visiting the Greater Toronto area shifted her perspective. She argues that changing your physical surroundings, mixing up routines, and looking at the world differently can remind you to appreciate what you have and make challenges feel smaller.

Hi, everybody. Sandy Boucher here. Welcome back to my world, or my world from a whole new angle. As you can tell by the scenery behind me, this is not my apartment. This is not where I normally film my videos. And that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about today. I've actually spent the last week down in the Greater Toronto area and I'm absolutely enjoying my visit down here. Seeing old friends and enjoying the different weather. And it reminded me of something. What it reminded me of is the fact that for so many of us, we get lost or caught up in our world. We do the same things day in and day out, and we forget that there's a whole other world out there, many other worlds out there. We get caught up in our own challenges and our own problems and. And we look at the world from the same vantage point. I learned a long time ago that it is very refreshing and very eye opening every now and then to get away and look at the world through different eyes. And that's exactly what this last week has been for me. It reminds me of all the things that I'm very thankful for. It reminds me of how minimal most of my challenges are. And it reminds me that I have a lot to be thankful for. I like mixing things up every now and then and refreshing my world. And I'd highly suggest that you try the same. I hope you're having an absolutely amazing day, whether you're at home or you're out and about like me. And I hope your day is filled with things to be thankful for and challenges to keep you on your toes. Have an amazing day, everybody. Bye. Bye.
