Hello, you absolutely amazing person. You. Sneak peek of my new office and new background for my videos. Isn't it pretty? Froggies. And my books. Not all of them yet. Coffee mugs. Another froggy. This way. Froggy. I love it. I love it. But that's not what I'm talking about today. Today I wanted. Oh, cat. Checking it out. Today I wanted to share with you my plan. My plan to do my part for Indigenous Canadian reconciliation. And we're running out of time. We need to talk about that. What I just said in Ojibwe was, hello, I am Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan. In English. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm a proud member of Seine River first nation in Treaty 3 territory in Northern Ontario. And. And yes, I'm a cat mommy. And Blue is deciding to visit today. Blue is not the subject of this video. What I wanted to share with you is my plan. Now, if you're new to my channel, welcome. I hope you find valuable content here. There's tons of valuable content here. I hope you choose to subscribe and stick around. If you've been watching my videos for a while, welcome back. I super appreciate it. What I wanted to share with you. Anyone who's been watching my videos for a while knows I'm completely and totally dedicated to Indigenous Canadian reconciliation, helping non Indigenous Canadians learn where their shortcomings are, why their Indigenous engagement strategies up to now have not worked. And it's largely because they never asked us. So I hope I bring an Indigenous perspective to people who have rarely heard one, rarely have heard how things look to us. And then when they understand that or hear that, they start to see the problems with their plan. But today I wanted to talk about my plan because again, if you've watched my videos for a while, you know, in April of this year, I turned 16. Mortality, reality. I am not going to be around forever. And I'm not really sure I want to be working this hard to my absolute last day. So sat down with my team, worked out some numbers, worked out some goals, dreams, values, visions. And I have decided 10 more years. I have been doing this work for 15 years. I will do it for 10 more years. Which, if you haven't done the math, that's till my 70th birthday. And at that time, I will have dedicated 25 years to this work. I think that's pretty cool. I don't think that's something to sneeze at. I also don't think it's something that a lot of people can say So I am so excited because I really feel I'm at the top of my game now. I have so many amazing opportunities to work with so many amazing corporations and entities and municipalities who truly want to get it and quit wasting time and money. And I get to work with them. So the reality is 10 more years. Now let's do the math. 365 days a year means we have 3650 days. I have 3650 days to make a difference for you, for Canada, for indigenous people living within Canadian borders, for my children and grandchildren so that they don't have as much work to do as I did. But it's 10 years from my birthday, which was in April. So 81 days have already been burnt up. We have 3569 days. Yes, left. And of course I have a handy dandy index card. So I have 10 more years to give my all to Canada, to industry, to enter these really seriously cats. Unreal. I have 10 more years to answer your questions, to guide and support and encourage you and create a safe space where you can honestly say, I don't understand. I don't know what that word means. That's my audiences. I love those people. I have 10 more years to help you develop a plan that is going to outlive me and I am thrilled to do it. So if you have questions, if you are not sure what your next step is, if you don't understand something, I am always just an email away. Let's do this. 10 more years. 3569 days. 10 years sounds long. 3500 days doesn't. We got work to do. I'm dedicated. I hope you are too. Let's walk on this path together. Until tomorrow. I love you. Take care. Bye bye.
