Foreign. Hello again, everybody. Sandy Boucher here once again. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan, a proud member of the Seine River First Nation in Treaty 3 Territory in Northern Ontario. And I have a short little video to put for you today because it's a short little blog post called Changing the Freedom of the Oppressed. Now, before I go any further, I'd be willing to bet if there are non indigenous women watching my videos, really good chance. You can relate to a lot, I say, even if you're not indigenous, because women are a marginalized group, it's marginalized, resonating with marginalized. So don't be shocked if that happens. And as a woman, if you're watching this, you may have been told, you know, maybe you had a crazy dream when you were a younger woman. You wanted to become an actress or a singer or whatever, a lawyer, a doctor, whatever. And possibly depending on who your parents were, where you were raised, and how financially stable or even affluent you were, there might have been someone that said, well, well, that's never going to happen. Like, why do you think you can do that? No one we know does that, and that's really hard. If you're female, it is really common. If you're Indigenous, it's part of internalized oppression. When you belong to an oppressed group for a long period of time, you internalize it and you start to believe the stereotypes about yourself and about other people in your group. And there's two ways that it affects you. And yes, you can be affected by both. Most people are. The first is the voice in your head. You're telling you that it's never going to work and never going to happen. And that can be really overwhelming. And it starts. Stops a lot of people from going to school or bidding for that job or daring to say no. And the other way is the voices of others, other people telling you, well, that's never going to work. Why would you try going to college? No one ever does that. It's never going to change anything. That's the voice of oppression. So what this short little blog post was about is it's a poem. And it was me celebrating that I'm once again changing things in the background of my business. There's some changes going on. And as a marginalized person, as an indigenous woman who was once, that voice was overwhelming. And the voices of others kept me trapped for so many years that now when I decide I'm going to make a change and I just go for it, that's something worth Celebrating, because that's nonviolent resistance. That's overcoming the oppression. So whether you're indigenous or not watching this, if you belong to a marginalized group, take the chance. Dare to do it. Forget about the voice in your hand and the voices of others. Because my belief is if you have that crazy dream, well, that's your God trying to tell you why you're here and what you're meant to be doing. And the fact that you enjoy it is why you're the perfect person to be doing it. So I really hope, like me, you can break the chains and just go for it. Because you deserve to change. You deserve the freedom of the oppressed. I hope that made sense. Until tomorrow. I love you. Take care.
Bye bye again, you amazing person, you. Sandy Boucher, once again cutting in on my own video to tell you all about my brand new all inclusive membership program. And seriously, if you like any part of my work, whether it's the blog posts and my writing style, my seminars, my speeches, my courses, you are going to want to be part of this. I mean, what? Look at everything it includes. It includes my 2023 blog post that I'm reviewing in this video. It includes all of the blog posts from 2022 that you can't get anywhere else. And the best part, look at this. You get to read whichever one you want in whatever order you want, based on the day, based on the title. It's totally up to you. You check it off as read and come back as often as you want. Talk about honoring your path and you doing this your way. On top of that, the entire 52 steps to reconciliation video set is available in the membership. Again, the only place you can find it. And again, watch it in whatever order you want to. There's courses, the Path, the path away from lateral violence, missing pieces, and even a day that can change everything. That includes so many of the teachings that I live my life by. And if something comes up in your workplace, maybe you need to bop into one of my courses to review one of the lessons again. Watch them in the order that you need. And there's PDFs for you to download. This is everything I've got. And it gets updated on a regular basis. And it doesn't affect how much you pay. So how much do you pay? Well, $19 a month. That's a lot of content for $19 a month there when you need it at your fingertips or pay the annual rate and you save any more, even more. And if you want it for your staff or group, well, I have a price for that too. I am here to support you in any way I can and this membership fits the bill. I can't wait to see you in the all inclusive membership. Now back to the video.
