Tuesday Teachings - Teachings Found in a $5, $10 and $20 Bill

Sandi L Boucher uses dollar bills as a teaching tool: a $5 represents a day, a $10 a week, a $20 a month. Treat each unit of time as a gift from Creator and decide each morning how you'll spend it with gratitude and intention.

Foreign. Hi, everybody. My name is Sandy Boucher. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan and a proud member of Seine River First Nation in Northern Ontario. And I'm here again this week with this week's Tuesday Teaching. Why? Because it's Teaching Tuesday. As you can tell, I love doing these videos probably because I miss my seminars so much. And these videos allow me the opportunity to use my props, which if you've ever been in seminar with me, you know I absolutely love my props. Now today I definitely have something to share with you, but before I do, I'm just. Really well, for one. First off, I want to say thank you to all my viewers and listeners. If you're listening to this on Sandy Buet, the podcast, Way to go. Welcome on board. If you're watching this on YouTube, thank you so much. Don't forget to subscribe. So you get all of my videos. And if you're watching this on Shot Spotlight, welcome. I'm thrilled to be back in your homes once again. Now, this week's teaching is super extra special to me personally. I get asked all the time how I've achieved what I've done, how did I set up a successful business, how did I manage to write three books? Whatever the case may be, this is the answer. This is the teaching. If there's one teaching that I live my life by every single day, this is it. This is the first thing on my mind first thing in the morning, and the last thing as I close my eyes at night. So this is the teaching. And I guarantee you, if you embrace this and start using it, you, your life is going to change for the better, I hope. And that will totally be up to you. So here you go. I have props, like I said. Okay, check this out. Remember what this is for those podcast viewers, I'm now holding a five dollar bill. I don't know about you, but since the pandemic was declared, I don't even use cash anymore. Well, like, I don't want to touch that atm. I everything is E transfer or tap with my card. So. But I had to borrow this from a friend. I promised him I'll return it. So. So $5 bill. And here's the question I'm going to ask you. If I was standing in front of you with this $5 bill and I said that I will give you this five dollar bill if you can tell me what you would spend it on. You have to spend it, you have to use it. So if I gave you $5, would you be able to tell me what you do with it. Yellow your answer at the tv or discuss it with your family members, whoever's there. Discuss it with your cat if you want to. Who's gonna know? Okay, so what would you do? Would you be able to earn the $5? My guess, probably you can. So now we're gonna up the ante. If you've never played poker, good for you. Good. Ten dollar bill, same question. I will give you this ten dollar bill. Imagine we're imagining here. Don't be emailing me asking me for your money. If I were to give you. I will give you this $10 if you can tell me what you would spend it on. Do you think you'd be able to do that? Do you think you'd be able to come up with an answer? Chances are pretty good. Let's up the ante one more time. $20 bill, same question. If I ask you, I will give you this $20 bill, imagination wise, imagine that. I will give you this 20 bill if you can tell me what you would spend it on. Do you think you'd be able to do that again? I'd be willing to bet maybe you'd take a few seconds, but you're probably going to be able to come up with an answer. And I'd be willing to bet if you got a munchkin running around in the house, a six year old could come up with an answer. A teenager could come up with an answer. A senior could come up with the answer. That's the point. But you gotta ask the question. So now let's start at the beginning again. What if this five dollar bill was a day? Instead of me asking the question it was Creator, God, higher power, whoever you worship, whoever you talk to, whoever you look up to, Mother Nature for that matter. If creator were to say, I'll give you this day, tell me what you're going to do with it. Tell me what you're going to achieve. Tell me what you're going to do. Are you going to inspire someone? Teach someone? Show someone something? What are you going to do? I will give it to you if you can tell me what you're going to do with it. What if the $10 bill represented a week? Now creators asking, I'll give you a week. What are you going to do with that time? What can you achieve in a week? What if the $20 bill is a month? If I had a 50, what if it was a year? You see, every single morning I wake up and I realize, Creator has given me this day. I realized, for one, I'm lucky I woke up. I know a whole bunch of loved ones that are no longer here, so I own that first. And I give thanks for the gift of this day. But I always imagine Creator asking me, what am I going to do with it? And in my mind, if I show them I did something good with it. Just like impressing your parents or your teacher when you were a little kid. If I can show Creator I did something awesome with it, I helped someone, inspired someone, I was kind to someone, I achieved something, I did something good, I helped someone through a hard time. If I can show him that I did something good with that day, then maybe, just maybe, he'll be tempted to give me another one. Food for thought. There's the teaching for today. Realize the gift you're being handed. This pandemic, in so many ways, for so many people, has been a gift. It's time that they were given to reset, to decide and remember what's important, to change their habits. I know I've totally changed my health goals. I've decided, one, I want to be careful and make sure I don't get this virus. But two, I'm going to be as healthy as possible. So if I get it, be able to fight it off. That just makes sense to me. So Creator gave you this day and by the way, you used part of it to watch this video. And I think that's a very good use of these 5, 10 minutes. So kudos to you for that. What are you going to do with the rest of your day? Impress Creator. And then maybe, just maybe, we'll all be lucky enough to get another one. Until next week, there is your Tuesday teaching. I hope that made sense. I love you. Talk to you soon. Take care of you. Please be well, be safe. And remember social distancing, because that's just a smart thing to do, no matter what day it is. I love you. Bye bye.
