Hi everybody. Sandy Boucher here and welcome back to my world. My newly rearranged world, but my world nevertheless. Yesterday I was doing some reflecting, as I often do, and I was thinking back on the different things that have motivated me and what inspired me to set a bar that required constant dedication. So often in my day to day life I see people that are just existing in my mind. They aren't living, they are simply going through day to day in the rut they call life. And they are experiencing a level of happiness equivalent with that rut. They don't realize that that's the situation they're in simply because they accept the situation they're in. I honestly believe that any situation can change if you're determined enough to change it. And I'm not saying it can change overnight, but it can change. Twenty years ago, I found myself a single mom of a two and a four year old working as a secretary, barely making ends meet from paycheck to paycheck. It was the best I could do at the time. I could have gone on social assistance. In fact, in the beginning I would have brought home more money every month being on social assistance. But I knew that wasn't the example I wanted to set for my children. I wanted them to see that if you work hard, you can get ahead. So using my children as a motivation and my own belief in my abilities, I worked hard. One step at a time. I took a course, I bid for a new position with a slightly higher level of responsibility. And slowly, one by one, I took the steps that took me from secretary to, to executive director. And when I had achieved that goal and realized I still had a lot of years and a lot of living left to do, I realized that my dream, what I really always wanted to do, was have my own company. That's exactly what I do now. My new goal, building my company. Helping even more and more people. Every single year, every single day, I work hard to reach out to help more people achieve what they want to achieve. Today, I challenge you. I want you to look at your world and determine what motivates you. And if nothing is motivating you, find something to motivate you. Look, maybe it's a person, you know that has achieved the things that you want. Maybe it's just you're fed up, you've had enough with barely getting by. You don't need to know how you're going to get out of it. All you need to do is make the decision to get out of it. Maybe it's your kids you don't want them settling for what they can get. And the easiest way for them not to is to see you not settling. Actions speak louder than words, as they say, and it is so very true. Show them how it's done. If you're not sure, make the decision. And then reach out to people like me that are more than happy to help you figure it out. It is time you start living the life that you want and not just accepting what comes along. You deserve so much more than that. I believe in you. Honor that spirit of yours. Talk to you soon. Bye bye.
