Foreign. Hi, everybody, it's Sandy Boucher here once again. I'm Red Thunderbolt, woman of the Loon clan, a proud member of Seine River First Nation in Northern Ontario. And this week, this month, I really need to give a huge shout out to all of those new people that following my Facebook page or have signed up to be on my email list or checking these videos out on YouTube. I did so many events in and around September 30th, and every single audience just filled me with so much hope for the future. As Anishinaabe Kwe, as an Indigenous woman, to see so many Canadians interested in not only being part of the change, but in learning how to be an active part of that change, you filled me with so much hope. You are my fuel for the future. And I just want to say, Chima Gwech, a huge thank you and of course, a huge shout out to my dedicated followers that are here every single week, who show up on my Facebook page, who follow me on YouTube or who are on my email list. You are my constant, and I just could not do what I do without you. So this is October, which means we have a brand new principle for those of you who are new to my list or these videos. What I've done. I sat down after being questioned about what values or principles I live my life by, and I came up with with 12 personal power principles. These are rooted in Indigenous Anishinaabe teachings, and this is part of that Indigenous empowerment and Canadian reconciliation. I'm just dedicated to getting people to see us not just as victims of horrible atrocities, because that did not define us. We were so much more before it happened. And we still continue to be resilient and strong and hopeful and dedicated to the future. So for all the people who have been empowered by these personal power principles, no matter what your ethnicity or nationality, that shows the value of Indigenous teachings not just to us. The world could benefit from our teachings, and all it requires is is you being open to having a relationship with us and actually hearing our words. So before I throw October's principle at you, it's principle number 10. There are 10 principles we've talked about so far, and then, of course, two more to finish off the year. I'm wondering which one resonated the most with you, and I would love it if you sent me an email and let me know which one. And. And just to refresh your memory, you might want to check this out on YouTube and pause the video so you can write these down. Or you could send me an email and Request the printout of the 12. Be happy to send that to you. But here once again is the nine Personal Power principles that we've looked at so far. And then the brand new 10th principle for the month of October. So here they are, starting with principle number one. Your value was gifted to you on the day you were born. No one can take it unless you give them the power to. And then in February, we had principle number two. Here it is. Another's opinion, past or present, is just that it does not in any way diminish your value. And then in March, we had principle number three. You are not here to prove yourself to anyone else. You are here to live up to who you truly are. In April, we discussed Personal Power Principle number four. Here it is. Everything you need is inside you. But like a seed, your wisdom needs to be nurtured and fed. Feed it and it will grow along with your confidence. In May, we discussed Personal Power principle number five. Here it is. Teach others how to treat you. If you want them to be kind to you, be kind to you. If you want them to respect you, respect you, show them how. Then at the halfway mark in June, we looked at Personal Power Principle number six. Here it is. Give others time to get used to you. They have never met anyone like you before. Give them time to adjust. In July, we looked at Personal Power Principle number seven. Here it is. Be your best self always. If you fail, do the next task, conversation or day better. In August, we looked at Personal Power Principle number eight. Learn from mistakes. Practice praxis. Constantly and continuously. Reflection and action. Last month we looked at Personal Power Principle number nine. And here it is. Commit to leveling up in some way every year. Don't just get older and Personal power principle number 10. Insert drum roll. Here is. Celebrate every single success by yourself, for yourself. High five. The air. Scream with glee. You earn the applause. So learn to give it to yourself freely. And there you have it. During the month of October, I'll be expanding on Personal power principle number 10. But don't forget, send me an email. I want to know which one of these resonates the most with you. And if you need some tips and tricks on how to implement them into your life, don't hesitate to ask. I love you. Talk to you next week. Bye bye. Sam.
