A short, blunt motivational monologue by Sandi L Boucher (who signs off as 'Red Thunderbolt Woman') that challenges listeners to stop blaming others for unmet goals and to take personal responsibility for both failures and success. The speaker suggests adjusting plans, focusing more, or asking for advice as workable responses and emphasizes that success belongs to the individual.

How blunt with a message can I get? Well, this is probably going to be one of them right up there. I'm going to. Let's imagine for a second you have a goal. I'm gonna assume you could think of one. I hope you can think of one. And I'm talking about a goal you haven't achieved yet. Why haven't you achieved it? What would your answer be? It doesn't really matter what your answer is, the specifics. What is really important is who you blamed. Because if you said that you haven't achieved your goal because this person didn't do that, or the government did this, or your landlord did this, or your partner did that, that's a recipe for failure. You haven't achieved your goal yet because you didn't do this, this or that, or you tried this and it failed, so have to try this. The response, the responsibility is on you. So is the success. So quit pointing fingers. You know you've heard it. Whoever you're pointing to, that's who you're giving your power to. Your success is your responsibility and yours to celebrate. So why haven't you achieved it yet? Now, there could be several answers. I have to readjust my plan. I haven't focused enough on it. I definitely have to change that. I have to ask for some advice. I, I, I will get you what you want. Until next time, this is me being Red Thunderbolt Woman. Blunt. I love you. Bye. Bye.
