Fruitful Friday - Men Women and The World

In this 30‑minute Fruitful Friday session, Sharnita Gates leads a worship and prayer gathering for the Word Project. She opens with Galatians 5:22, outlining the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and forgiveness—as the thematic foundation. Gates explains the Word Project’s core pillars—wisdom, obedience, repentance, and discipline—and invites participants to submit prayer requests via chat. The session proceeds in three prayer segments: first interceding for men of all ages, asking that they receive and live out God’s word, find strength, and be protected from worldly violence; second, praying for women, thanking them for their role as helpers, teachers, and church builders, and seeking continued empowerment through the word; third, a global prayer covering all peoples, asking for protection, increased faith, and the spread of God’s truth. Throughout, the tone is reverent, encouraging, and communal, concluding with a call to stay in prayer, a brief worship song, and a blessing for a fruitful week.

Good morning. We are starting Fruitful Fridays. It is a pleasure to be here this morning with everyone who is on the call. We are going to just give 30 minutes of praise and prayer. We're just going to go before the Lord, just if there's anything that we want to petition for. We're just going to humbly go before the Lord this morning and give our praise and our worship. I'm Sharnita Gates. If everyone, um, may not know who I am, I am Sharnita Gates, and we are just going to get started early this morning. And we're going to go into prayer first. We're going to go into prayer for our men. We definitely want to send prayers up for our men, our upcoming men, our young, you know, our young men, teenage men, no matter what age you are, even our senior adults. We definitely want to continue to send prayers to every individual out there, and no one's exempt on this Fruitful Friday. So we definitely start off with a scripture. So today's scripture is going to be Galatians 5:22, for the fruits of the Spirit are We know that the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, forgiveness. We have a lot of different fruits that we can actually plant within others' lives, and we definitely want to continue to plant those fruits and be fruitful unto everyone. So on Fruitful Fridays, we're going to be bringing a lot of different love, joy, And peace with the word of God. And I want to definitely start off with telling you guys what the Word Project stands for and is all about. So the Word Project is about accepting God's wisdom, and it's about our obedience. And it's about our repentance, and it's about God's discipline. So we are accepting that into our lives, and that's what we're here to do on the Word Project. So as we bring different fruits or different words to this group, we definitely want to remember that The word is wisdom, it is obedience, it is repentance, and it is discipline. This is what helps to set us free, and we're really trying to bring that word to every individual so that they can live freely, um, changed and in God's love. So we're going to— we have about a good 30 minutes. To go through, um, the different prayers. So we're going to, um, first, if there's any type of prayers or petitions, anybody want to ask anything of God or just give thanks to God, we have— we just ask that you either put it in the chat or, you know, raise your hand and we'll bring you on and you can, you know, share what you're thinking, what you're feeling. And we can go from there. So right now we're going to go ahead and start with our men, and we're just going to go into prayer for our men. Okay. At this time, we come humbly before you just to ask that every man be able to receive your word.
