Let's talk of Life' beauty #Jesus

In this Grace Space devotional, speaker Sharnita Gates urges listeners to align their lives with Jesus—the "life, the way, and the truth"—so that their personal trajectory changes for the better. She opens with a call to become doers of God’s word rather than mere hearers, then reflects on the daily scripture from Ezekiel that promises blessings in the proper season, emphasizing the need to wait on God’s timing. Gates discusses the common hindrance of receiving God’s blessings, linking true reception to accepting Christ. She then pivots to 1 Peter 3:3‑4, contrasting outward adornment with inner beauty—a gentle, quiet spirit—and urges believers to cultivate humility, wisdom, and a heart‑focused devotion. Throughout, she stresses the importance of humility, rejecting self‑reliance, and seeking God’s clarity. The talk concludes with a reminder that holiness and God’s grace should remain the central focus in every context—school, work, home—so that believers can multiply the word of God and experience the transformative beauty that comes from within.

Blessings everyone and welcome back to our Grace Space where we are being fruitful and multiplying. And what we doing, y'all? We multiplying the word of God. Let's, let's continue to fulfill ourselves with the knowledge and understanding that we need to, to master life, like to really get life right. Like, if you're getting life wrong, um, you're probably not doing life right. And when I say life, I— if you, if you've already getting to know me, you already know when I say life, I'm talking about Jesus. Um, he is the life, he is the way, um, he is the truth. So as we expose ourselves and, you know, to the life, the way, and the truth, we start to receive it in a, in a, and it start to change our lives. So as we get better with the Bible, you know, our faith, um, it gets, it gets bigger. Um, we become doers of the word, um, not just hearers. So let's, let's, let's be a doer. Let's dive right into the word on today. So as we start, we're going to go through our, our reflection. Let's reflect on what God has for us today. And today The reflection is, I will change the trajectory of my life. I will. So let's embrace change. Let's let's continue to say the way that my the the path that I'm currently on, I will change that. Like if I'm not on the path of righteousness, then I will change that. So. Um, the word that God has given us today is from Ezekiel. And if you haven't had a chance to really read Ezekiel, um, do not be afraid. Trust that what God has said in Ezekiel, it will, it would, it will change the trajectory of your life. He said, I will bless my people and their homes Around my holy hill, and in the proper season, I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessings. So trust, believe. Like when God says this is God's word, and as you you know get to know more of God's words, every scripture. It's like the breath. It I'm not like. It is the breath of God, and is useful for teaching us, for correcting us. We need to be rebuked. We need to be rebuked, and we also need to be trained. So God's word, it allows us to hear His voice. So if He says, "I will bless my people." That's God saying, I will bless my people. So if you're, if you're, if you're not able to hear God— now there's a part where we have to do, um, we have— it said in the proper season. So therefore we have to wait for the, the season on when, you know, the season when God will bless us. So we have to wait. So I have often heard people say, position yourself and in the right season God will bless you and open doors you cannot fathom. When you put your trust in God and believe, that becomes a true statement. So God's word is true. So if God said, I will bless you, and he said in the proper season, that's the truth. What's— so we have to kind of reflect on today what's hindering us from, um, positioning ourselves To receive—that is a word that I you know we always talk about giving. I'm a giver. I'm one. I'm a huge giver. So when it comes to receiving, it's like that's where the hindrance can sometimes show up in our lives. We we think sometimes it's more of giving, but some people have a hard time receiving. You know, and then receiving God's word. If God said I will bless you. in the proper season. But to receive that is okay. So how do I do that? How do I receive this, you know, the word of God? By receiving his Son Christ. Like, that's why I said the life, the way, and the truth, because it's— but when you accept Christ, you start— you, you will believe that what God said is true. So you start to open yourself up to receive Even more. So as we reflect on receiving God's word and changing the trajectory of our life, we can go in and devote ourselves back to God. Um, because sometimes we leave God, you know. So that when I say back to God, that's like to change. You sometimes have to go from the path that you were previously on to a totally new path, and that new path is going to be your devotion, um, and, uh, to affirm this is what I'm, I'm doing in this season. Um, and the devotion is the true source of beauty, you know, true beauty. That's, that's what, you know, glow. Um, but this is what, this is what the word says, so we always want to seek and devote ourselves to what God said. And then we can stand firm, be courageous, be bold, and do everything in love. We know that love brings that understanding. So it says in 1 Peter 3, verses 3 through 4, it says, do not adorn yourselves outwardly by braiding your hair and by wearing gold ornaments or fine clothing. Rather, let your adornment, your your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God's sight. In God's sight, like I see you when you're you know gentle and quiet. I didn't got to see that, but. You know, growing up we hear the whole saying, pretty is as pretty does. But what does— you know, pretty is, that's not, that's not, that's not the word of God. Like, so we're taking the L out of the world and we're coming back with the word because it says do not. So when we be a hearer, we also have to be a doer. So when they say do not, we have to do not adorn ourselves you know, hourly. You know, when they say adorn, it said adorn— do not adorn yourself. It didn't say that you can't do it, it just said do not adorn. And then it said let your adornment be the inner self with the lasting beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. So improving your, your clothing, your posture, sometimes it's— it may be required Um, but that's not necessarily adornment. It's not, um, unless you make it. But we do not want to adorn ourselves in that. We want to adorn ourselves in our hearts. That's why, you know, we're fertilizing our heart with the word of God. Because if we don't know the truth, how can we take the L out of the world and come back with a word if we don't know the truth. And the only way to do that is to gain truth, and this is the truth, is the word of God. So it says, do not adorn yourselves outwardly, but we see it also gives us the inward, um, instructions as far as, you know, with lasting beauty and a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God's light. So, you know, God sees us. We thank you, God, that you see us. So beauty shines from within, like the glow— you glow from it, like the, the light that's inside of you, it glows from the inside and it just bursts on out. So it dresses in humility. That's God, you are the ultimate authority in my life. Um, I submit myself to your plan, your will, Um, your, your instruction, your, your word. Um, and that is humility and true wisdom. You know, God— for God gives wisdom, and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. So if God— you know, true wisdom is the word of God. So it's like, okay, we could be— we could, we can think we're wise in our own understanding. That's why the word says, if you don't know that, the word said lean not to your own understanding. You are opening yourself up just like I was previously before. Did not know when it said do not lean. You know, we hear what God says do, but we— I really feel like in this season, learning what God said do not do is the best part. Like, that's my enjoyment in the word. I get true fulfillment out of the word of God when I hear Do not. Okay, thank you. Now I know what not to do because, um, you know, some, some— yeah, true wisdom. Let's talk about humility and true wisdom. God, you're so good. It grows in an environment of reverent, holy living, thriving in worship, and glorifying God. Like, you get all the glory, even in this moment, even every time that I speak. God, I want you to get the glory. I want the praises of my lips to be all praising you, um, because I would not even be here in this moment if— when I say if you now have not given me your word as far as to say, you know, Sharnita, you know, here's a reminder, you're leaning on to your own interpretation, you are interpreting this totally wrong, and I'm okay with saying that. Because it's freeing. Like we was talking about, as far as we're freed from it, like those things are those emotions. Like okay, confusion is not of God. Like God gave so much clarity and understanding. So when you get that wisdom and knowledge and understand and understanding, things become a little bit more clear. Okay, so you know. Um, seek clear— when you're seeking wisdom, you're seeking clarity. When you're seeking understanding, you're, you're seeking clarity. When you're seeking knowledge, you're seeking clarity. So when we cast down everything that we could possibly imagine, um, and get rid of all the evil that is just so prevalent in our lives, if things start to become a lot more clear than what the world is telling you, because you start to see the word, um, So clear. So I'm just excited to continue to go through this grace space. As you can see, God's grace is sufficient, um, but we need to keep holiness our central focus. We say our central focus. Remember, this is what this grace space is all about, and this daily mindcast is to help us to remember to keep it at the central focus. Like, we're looking at is this central focus of, you know, of God, like the word. We need it, um, as we offer our appearance. So when we're, you know, stepping out into— to appear anywhere, you know, I'm just saying, just no matter where you appear, if you appear at school, if you appear at work, if you appear in the grocery store, if you appear at home Everywhere that you are, everywhere that you can possibly appear at, remember that we have to keep it as our central focus. Our holiness is God's Spirit is holiness. Thank you, Holy Spirit. As we offer our appearance to God, we are meant to be adorned with His beauty and. God's beauty is in this inside. So as we devote ourselves, we have to ask ourselves those questions, the hard questions. What does God find truly beautiful about you? What does God— Okay, you know, it's like, for me, it's like, for me, that's between me and God. Thank you guys for joining the Gray Space. Go out, be fruitful, and continue to multiply. And what we are multiplying— we are multiplying the word of God. Find all the do-nots and immerse yourself into that and see that it will change the trajectory of your life. So be blessed. Thank you for joining.
