Blessings everyone and welcome back to our devotionals. We are coming in strong with the devotionals. Look, I am ready to kick this off because I really— this devotional today was so powerful that I had to come and share it with you guys. The, uh, devotional today was Life Bold in Love. I just want to kind of pause and reflect on just that life bold in love. So as we just take time to just kind of reflect on just that life bold in love, we're going to start off with giving in love. And this scripture is going to come from 1 Corinthians 12:31. Now eagerly desire the greater gifts Love is indispensable, and yet I show you the most excellent way. So giving in love, like, now eagerly desire the greater gift. So when you're giving in love, the greater gift of love, knowing that love is indispensable, it is indispensable. Now, yet I will show you the most excellent way. So what is the most excellent way? If you're going to show the most excellent way of giving in love and eagerly desiring after the greatest gift and understanding what love is— so love is indispensable. So now we can go into knowing love. So knowing love, we're going to go right into 1 Corinthians 13:4. Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It does not dishonor others. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, and it does not keep records of wrongs. So knowing love, if we're eagerly desiring the greater gifts and knowing that love is indispensable, so what has to be indispensable? Patience, kindness, not envying, not boasting, not being proud, not dishonoring others, not self-seeking, and not easily angered, and not keeping records of wrongs. So if you know how to give love, you know how to give greater gifts. So we're kind of going a little bit being bold. That's why it's saying life bold in love, being bold in love, being bold, being patient. I'm patiently being bold. I'm patiently— I'm boldly being kind. I'm boldly not envying. I'm boldly not boasting. I'm boldly not proud. I'm boldly not dishonoring others. I'm boldly not self-seeking. I'm not self-seeking. Um, one of the things that we're teaching with the kids today— well, not today, but well, today, every day— it's humility, putting others first. So it's not self-seeking. That's love. It's not easily angered. Do not let yourself be easily angered, because if you— that's when you grow in love. You understand, like, you can't be easily angered, you know, because it's that love is in— like we said, love is indispensable. And so you eagerly desire to give greater gifts, so you don't want to give the gift of anger. So therefore you want to not be easily angered. So that's what knowing love is. It's very key to know what love is and being a little bit intentional about Knowing and giving in love. So this is all about being intentional. So one of the things to be bold, you have to be intentional. You have to have clarity. So today in this devotional, what we're providing is clarity into giving in love, clarity in knowing love, and then clarity in being bold. And that is where we're going to dive into the word of Deuteronomy 31. Verse 6. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. So you could be bold, be, be bold, being strong and being courageous. So we're being intentional and bringing clarity in what being bold is. Being bold is being strong and being courageous and not being afraid or terrified. We know that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So we know that he gave us love for— we know that the Lord goes with you, you know, everywhere you go. That's being able to have that, that spirit of love, that spirit of power, and knowing that he will never leave you nor forsake you. So being bold is having that in mind, having that sound mind and knowing that he would never leave you nor forsake you. And then the power that's going to drive you into that boldness, we're going to dive into 1 Corinthians 13, verses 1 through 3. If I speak in tongues of men or of angels but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong and a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have the faith that can move mountains, but I do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but I do not have love, I gain nothing. So be that power, power in knowing, Power in giving, power in being bold, being bold to say if I if I do these things but I do not have love, the things that I'm speaking is only going to be a resounding gong. It's going it's not going to stick. And take in your devotional time. I would encourage you to spend some time in Matthew 13 and. We know that our greatest teacher is Jesus. And one of the things, as far as the parable of the sower, Matthew 13, when it comes to you being bold and being giving and, um, in, in love and knowing what love is, understand a little bit more, um, when it comes to what you may need clarity in. of the things is we're being intentional, we're providing clarity. So in the next devotion, um, we— I'm— we may be going into Matthew 13. Right now we are in 1 Corinthians and Deuteronomy. Um, Deuteronomy is basically our ending scripture as far as to be— is being bold. But remember that you have— there's power in love. There's power. There's there's the clarity in knowing love. There's intentionality in giving love. So this devotional life bold in love, be in love with giving, knowing, and being, and in power that God has given us. So I pray that you spend more time in this devotional. Make sure you go. read a little bit more and spend time. Be intentional. Provide clarity into you. Um, one of the things— so one, one of the things that somebody asked me today was, who encouraged you? And my answer was, I encourage myself. I encourage myself because we have to encourage— like, I can only bring clarity based off of what I am doing, what I'm giving, what I'm being bold about, what What I know, I may not know the same thing that someone else may know. So I have to encourage myself to put in that time. One of the things is you may hear saying, as far as our tithe is in our giving, and our giving is of our time. So I am this being intentional about tithing in time. My goal is to be able to give 2 hours and 45 minutes of my time daily back to the God who created me. He created me. He created— he created the, the word that I'm able to, to stand bold in. That's what today is, a clarity and being intentional about what has been given to me in the word, um, the power, love, and most importantly, the sound mind as we are going into mental health Awareness Month. That is going to be a huge month right now. We're in autism, so just being aware and being intentional about Autism Month. Today is—we're close to the middle of Autism Month. So as we close out this daily devotional, definitely make sure that you go out and live a life bold in love. Thank you guys for joining, and blessings.
