Blessings everyone and welcome again to our day 18 of the Lent devotional. Today is going to be Multiply Your Blessings. So as we dive more into this Lent devotional, especially on day 18, and we've been multiplying different things as our submission to God, our faith, our hope, and so many other different areas. We want to multiply your blessings in this day 18 Lent devotional. So of course we're going to start with the word of God, and it comes from Psalms 107:38. He blessed them and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herd diminish. Recently I was watching TV when a commercial came on. The commercial showed people smiling, laughing, walking across a beach on a bright sunny day. The product being advertised seemed to bring great relief and restore the user's health. All was magical until the commercial was about to end and a list of potential, potential side effects were described. What started as a blessing soon seemed, for some, not a reality. This scenario is unlike blessings from God. God blessed the Israelites and increased their population without decreasing their food supply and income. The mission of Change Church is to help as many people as possible live, love, and lead like Jesus so they can change the world. Living like Jesus means following God's principles in all areas of our lives. Pastor Darius Daniels often refers to the Life Pie. Yes, I, I really enjoyed the Life Pie. Um, Definitely check out the Change track as well. Um, the life pie— in teaching this concept, the life pie consists of our relationships, character, business and work, our resources, and health. God desires to bless and increase us in all slices of the life pie. Therefore, by giving the spiritual, spiritual aspect of the life right We open ourselves to receive God's promises and his promised blessings multiplied and without decrease. Are there any areas in the life pie you want more growth in? Yes. If so, you must be intentional about growing spiritually. A few suggestions to begin or continue growing are: commit to a daily devotional life, attend service regularly, In person or online. Participate in life and learning groups. And number 4, my favorite part, serve. During this Lent season, reflect on the sacrifice Christ made, knowing that his sacrifice has made it possible for believers to enjoy the multiple blessings God promised in his word. So we're gonna pray. Father God, thank you for your Son Jesus. I thank you that he died on the cross for my sins, and in 3 days he rose from the dead and is now seated on the right hand making intercession for me. I receive him as my Lord and Savior, and I desire to live fully in all the blessings you have for me. I pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen. Wow, what a great day 18 devotional. Multiply your blessings, and the blessings of just being able to live, love, and lead like Jesus. In all those different areas in that life pie, whether it's our relationship, our character, even when we go to business or the type of work we may do, but also in our resources. So we know God is the source and everything here is a resource. So we want to multiply our blessings in our resources as well, as well as our health spiritually. So there is a spiritual health. So We want to get that spiritual aspect right. So I thank you all for joining me on this day 18 Lent devotional. Y'all have a blessed and wonderful day.
