Blessings everyone and welcome to day 26 of this week's Lent devotional. We are going to be multiplying your intentionality. I jumped right into this one because when it's talking about the intent, being intentional, I really wanted to sit down today and kind of do it a little bit different than I usually do the, uh, Lent devotional. Because I wanted to intend to be intentional about listening to what God is trying to say through this message. And so I definitely just wanted— I just jumped right in, um, to this day 26. So we multiply your intentionality, and the word is from Exodus 1 Verse 12. But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread. So the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites. Say that again. So, and because I want to understand as far as a little bit more when it comes to being intentional, and as we multiply our intentionality on this day 26. I want to make sure that we're not just multiplying our intentionality, but our understanding of what the message is trying to tell us. But the more they were oppressed, so they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread. So even through oppression, when you be intentional, then you the more you are. They when they were being intentional. Although that they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread. So the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites. So being intentional can bring multiplication, but it also can, um, bring other— multiply in other areas. So you want to be intentional a little bit more about what God is trying to say to you. And that's just a message for me. Um, so did you know that Generation Beta, the babies born between 2025 through 2039, will begin in 2 years? Whoa, no, did not realize that because we are still working on Generation Alpha. Um, it's amazing how quickly time passes. You may recall someone in your family who was head of the household when you were younger but has since passed away. Or you may remember a time when you were the youngest or one of the youngest, and now you are the eldest or one of the eldest. So it was for the children of Israel. There came a time when their leader Joseph and his brothers died, but that did not stop them from growing. In fact, The opposite happened. The Israelites was exceedingly fruitful. They multiplied greatly and increased in numbers and became so numerous that the land was filled with them. I grew up hearing the saying, time waits for no man. I— that was a big word. Glory God, glory. Growth is a natural part of life. We will all age. We will all get to the age where we will be the elders in our family. But when that happens, don't forget who you are and whose you are. Don't forget that God is the one who has kept you. Look around and realize that yes, times may be difficult, but you are still flourishing. You are still being multiplied. Others are looking at you trying to figure out how you're still here. The Israelites moved to Egypt because there was a famine in their homeland. They found food and favor for a time in Egypt, but then the person who was the symbol of their favor, Joseph, died, and they were now being oppressed by someone who didn't know them and was threatened to— threatened by their growth. Life is made up of seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall. However, no matter what season you are in, don't forget God, because even in the difficult seasons, you will see favor. You will multiply just like the children of Israel. So I'm going to prayer. Father God, help me to work purposefully so I can sow seeds for the next generation. Thank you for the word that was received about the next generation and time and how we can continuously give you glory. Allow me to stay current when seasons change and to prepare myself for the future. Allow me to move Forward in life and create new paths for the next generation to walk through. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Wow! So being just being intentional, just knowing that in two years babies will be born into the next generation of Generation Alpha. Right now we have Gen Z, we have Gen Alpha, but being intentional about Generation Beta being able to know the goodness of God and to know that we can still— if we multiply in this season, we could be fruitful in others even when we're not long— no longer here. Um, even when we may— it may have— it may change that we might maybe not be the oldest. Uh, we're growing, we're getting older. We could just be intentional about the future. So I really love today's Multiply It Lent devotional for day 26 because not just multiplying your intentionality in what you do, but for when you do it. So So you could be intentional not just for the day, but you can be intentional for years to come, years for the future, and multiply and be fruitful for not just your children but your children's children. Um, and that makes me want to spend more time with the word and dive a little bit more into where, you know, a good man leaves an inheritance. So when we think about an inheritance, think about being intentional about your, your inheritance and what you can leave, not for a Generation Beta. I did not know that Generation Beta was that close. I've been kind of just thinking about Generation Z. We have Alpha. I did hear about Alpha, and I'm like, okay, Lord, I'm ready to be To get on it. So we're just being intentional, and I look forward to what's to come as far as the multiplying your holy fruit. So we're just going to invite the Holy Spirit. Definitely at this moment, Holy Spirit, we invite you into this place right now, Heavenly Father, so that we can be intentional about what you are trying to say, and we receive. Receive it in the name of Jesus. Thank you guys for enjoying— thank you guys for joining day 26 of this Lent devotional, um, as we multiply your intentionality. Be blessed. Thank you for joining.
