In this Day 39 Lenten devotional, the speaker urges listeners to experience a multiplication of God’s power through divine intervention. Drawing on several biblical passages—Acts 9:31, Exodus 15:3, Psalm 35:1, Malachi 3:11, John 10:10, and John 14:14—the message highlights how God defends and strengthens His people, especially the early church after persecution. The speaker emphasizes that Jesus’ death defeated the enemy’s plans, allowing believers to live in peace, presence, power, and increase. Listeners are invited to pray for God to rebuke the "devourer," grant abundant life, and fulfill His will, especially as Holy Week approaches. The devotional concludes with encouragement to continue daily devotionals and a blessing for the audience.

Blessings everyone and welcome to this Lent devotional today on day 39. Oh, we got one more day to go. Um, we are going to be multiplying your power of God on this day 39. We made it through, you guys. I'm— I don't know about you guys, but for me, I'm going to continue to be doing these devotionals every day. So look forward to the next set of devotionals that's coming up. I'm happy that— and excited and very thankful and grateful For Change Church for providing this Lent season devotional for multiply. And so today on day 39, we're going to multiply your power of God. And it's the word is coming from Acts 9:31. And then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened, living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit. It increased in numbers in Acts. In Exodus 15:3, Moses called God a man of war. Throughout the scriptures, we see God come to the defense of his people. David boldly asked God in the Psalm to fight against those who fight against me, and that's in Psalm 35:1. Therefore, it is no surprise to see God come to the aid of the early church. Luke, the writer of the text, summarizes the state of the early church after much persecution, particularly at the hand of Saul. The text describes a church that is increasing in number, whose people are enjoying the peace of God and increasing in strength. Beautifully, they also are living with the fear of the Lord and enjoying the comfort of the Holy Spirit. The church was prospering because Jesus intervened. He entered the scene because Saul, soon to become the Apostle Paul, was determined to destroy his church. Malachi 3:11 says, God will rebuke the devourer for your sake, and he shall not destroy the fruits on your ground. When God intervenes, he stops the enemy from executing his plan to steal, kill, and destroy you. And that's John 10:10. And your possessions. Jesus' death destroyed the work of the enemy, making it possible for you to experience a life filled with peace, presence, Power and increase. Are you in the need of God's intervention? Do you want to experience life as God intended it? Faith in him makes you a prime candidate for his assistance. All you have to do is ask. So right now we do ask for a— for God's divine intervention in our lives. We definitely want to fight back against the, you know, the enemy that wants to come and kill, steal, and destroy you, and even take away your possessions, but we are thankful that Jesus' death destroyed the works of the enemy. So we pray, Father, we need you. We thank you that your word says if we ask anything in your name, you will do it. We ask you to rebuke the devourer for our sakes. Cause us to experience your abundant life in this season of multiplication. We stand in anticipation of what you're getting ready to do. And we praise you in advance for the victory. In Jesus' name, amen. And I just want to repeat John 14:14. You said if we ask anything in your name, you will do it. So Father, we ask you to have your way, that your will be done in this place, and go before us, Heavenly Father. And I thank you in the name of Jesus. We ask for you to make it possible for us to experience a life filled with peace, your presence. So we invite the Holy Spirit into our presence, power and increase. As we are ending on this day 39, one more day to go, we want to multiply and increase. And we thank you in this Holy Week, this resurrection season. We pray for your divine intervention into our lives, and we want to experience life as God has intended it. So we thank you. Thank you for joining us on day 39 of this Lent devotional. Go out and be blessed. Enjoy.
