Blessings everyone and welcome to the day 40 multiply your remembrance multiply Lent devotional. Today is our last day of this Lent devotional. We will be kicking off a new devotional for you guys to tap on into, and for day 40 we're going to be multiplying your remembrance. And I think that this will be a great time just to kind of go through this entire Lent devotional and just kind of remember how far we've came and the things that, you know, we may have given up and how far we have come in multiplying what— whatever obedience or act of obedience or discipline that we were praying for, asking God for, and just building that relationship with God, which is the most important. So I hope you multiplied in your relationship with God and discipline and with yourself as well in this Multiply Lent devotional. So on day 40, multiply your remembrance. It's— the word is coming from Deuteronomy 7, verse 13. And he will love you and bless you and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and and your oil, the increase of your cattle, and the offspring of your flock, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you. Chapter 7 in the book of Deuteronomy, which is written by Moses to the children of Israel, begins with the words, when the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and continues by listing all the great things The Lord will do for you or for them because he loves them and he's faithful. In verse 12, we read, then it shall come to pass, because you listen to those judgments and kept them and do them, your blessings— Moses was reminding them— is tied to your obedience. I love Moses. I do. He did his best to shepherd the children of Israel through the desert and tried to guide them in a way that pleased the Lord. Now we all know how that ended, but he never failed to tell them about God. He never failed to remind them of who they were or who they served. I love it, the constant reminder. Some of us need a Moses, a chief reminding officer, but I digress. Fast forward to Deuteronomy 7:13, and Moses takes the time, as he often did, to list the benefits of obedience. One key benefit is multiplication. Your children will be blessed, your work will be blessed, and anything you produce, whether it's entrepreneurs, you will be blessed when you obey God. Obedience is a heavy word, and sometimes it may seem overwhelming to be obedient to a perfect God. But if you adjust your perspective, you'll realize that it is doable. God loved us so much that he died, and he did not leave us to lie— uh, to live this life without help, the help from the Holy Spirit. How fitting to read this scripture in Lent devotional. Listen, No matter how difficult it seems at times to live obedient to God, remember that it comes with benefits. First with help, and then with blessings. Blessings that benefit you at work and at home. The increase that comes from obedience is unlimited, and God wants you to have it. That's why He had Moses constantly remind the children of Israel How to act so that they will not miss the benefits of serving a good God. You want to be blessed? Be obedient. Father, help me to remember the benefits of serving a God who is willing to bless every area of my life. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. So as we go through this Lent devotional, day 40, and multiplying our remembrance, let's just remember where we started because we multiplied in the process. This was a process. We multiplied your contribution. We multiplied your hope, your wisdom, where you are, your submission. His word. Your faith. Your legacy. Your persistence. Your faithfulness. Your patience. Your reflection time. Your commitment to obedience. Your gifts. The little you have. Your submission to God. Your blessings. Your commitment to your word. Your joy, your praise, his glory, your expectations, your giving, your purpose, your intentionality, your requests, your assignment, your belief in God, your reliance on God, your response to instruction, your impact, your pursuit of righteousness. Your growth, your opposition multiply in opposition, and your discipleship, your love, your gratitude, your power. And today you're multiplying in your remembrance how far your God can take you and will take you. So as you Go forth and continue to multiply in all these different areas. I say be blessed and remember the goodness of God. Thank you for joining for this Lent devotional. Guys, go out and live a blessed life.
