Blessings everyone and welcome to day 17 of Multiply, this year's Lent devotional. I'm excited about sharing this Lent devotional with you guys, and for today, day 17, we have Multiply Your Submission to God. So that's one of the things that was on my mind this morning is making God priority and keeping God as a priority. So when I wake up in the morning, just thanking God for another day to be able to, especially today, multiply my submission to God. So the word for day 17 for multiply your submission to God is coming from Deuteronomy 1, verse 11, and it says, may the Lord The God of your ancestors increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised. Oh, I love God's promises. It helps with the submission too, not just the reason to submitting, but it just give it multiplies your hope, um, and that's multiplying your hope, you're multiplying your faith. And so Faith is big. So picture this: you're cleaning out the attic of your grandparents' home, and underneath a pile of dusty items lays a box. You open it and discover documents that your great-great-grandparents left your family. It's an incredible inheritance. How would you feel? In Deuteronomy, we see God fulfilling the promise he made generations Earlier to Abraham, God promised to increase the population of Abraham's descendants to be more numerous than the stars in the sky. In addition, if his descendants obeyed all of God's commands and decrees, God promised to bless everything they would do. And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you. And that's what was said in Deuteronomy 28:2. Why? For his glory. Glory to God. God wanted all the people of the earth to stand in awe of those who bore his name. Would you like the blessings of God to be so prominent and so pervasive that they overtake you? Yes, yes, yes, I would love for the The blessings of God to be so prominent in my life and so pervasive that it just overtakes me. Let it be none of me. I want it to be all of him. So God is a promise-keeping God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His promises are true and irrevocable. All who make God make him make him Lord and Savior of their life and hair. Are heirs to all of his promises. So all, all who make him Lord and Savior of their life are heirs to all of his promises. His blessings are for us and our future generations. In this Lenten season, let us be mindful to walk in the fullness of all God has called And promised us. Jesus Christ was obedient. He was obedient to fulfill his purpose on earth, suffering an excruciating, painful death for us. His act of obedience allows us to be reconciled to God, and because of that, all who make Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of their lives are heirs to all of God's irrevocable Promises. Prayer. Father God, I thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord. I am so appreciative that he was willing to die a horrible death for me. Thank you. He ascended and now sits on your right hand forever. Making intercession for me, I thank you that because of his sacrifice, I can walk in total abundance as you stated in your word. Thank you. Glory be to God. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. Wow! What a powerful day seventeen as we multiply our submissions. God, I man. May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, increase you a thousand times and bless you as He has promised. Jesus' name. Thank you guys for joining. Blessings to you, and you all have a great and blessed day as you multiply your submission to God.
