Blessings everyone and welcome back to Fertile Hearts where we are being fruitful and multiplying and multiplying in the word of God. And do I have a word for you today, and that word today Today, are you ready? That word today is victory. We are being victorious in our life purpose. So we're understanding and having an ear to hear what the vision God has for us today, for he knows the plans that he has for us, and those plans are not to harm us but to give us hope and for our future. So I, I encourage you to continue to find, find a pattern as far as your daily quiet time with God and your daily devotion to give back that time to God to hear what he's trying to say. So today's devotion is our vision for victory. Vision for victory, I like that. Vision for victory. So I'm just going to kind of go through some things that we want to define for our— your life purpose and life goals. So that you won't get distracted. We know that there is distraction. That's why he said get rid of all that filth, evil that's so prevalent. We want to be able to be aware of what God is trying to say to us. So that comes through hearing. So don't just merely think that you are a hearer, but, um, or listening and deceive yourself. You want to actually do what the word is saying. So defining your life purpose and life goals, I want you to kind of think about how you can start to take action in your life as far as defining those— that life purpose and those life goals. So when you are at war, you need an overarching vision to stay focused on what you need to accomplish. So being focused on what you need to accomplish. Mind you, as I'm sharing this daily devotion, I am talking to myself. Okay, so this is a way for me to continue to be fruitful and multiplying and multiplying and sharing in the Word of God in this daily devotion. So today's daily devotion is vision, you know, and victory. And so you must define your life purpose and life goals so that in the midst of warfare, in the midst of distractions, um, you cannot get distracted. You don't want to get distracted from what God is trying to tell you. So, um, and because he wants you to do something, we're talking about a life purpose and life plan. How do you know what that life purpose and life plan is if you don't hear? We know that hearing comes by doing, and we know that it comes by the word of Christ. So hearing what God is trying to say to you today— so the importance of staying focused. So we know that hearing comes by the word of Christ, so let's hear what God is saying about Christ today. Jesus' experience in the wilderness clarified his life purpose. He had just been baptized and heard John pronounce him the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. His Father had said, this is my Son whom I love. In the wilderness, Jesus came to grips with the fact that he had the power to do everything Satan tempted him to do. So knowing that you have the power to do the wrong thing, and that's what you are getting distracted by— you can see things, um, you have the power to do the wrong thing, but yet even Jesus, he chose to do the things the Father's way instead. So we, we need to put into our practice as far as when we are going through our life purpose and our life goals, like, what is the right thing to do? And the right thing to do— what would we used to— it just came to my mind, like, WWJD, what would Jesus do? That is still true to this day. What would Jesus do in that, in the moment of distractions? In the moment of being tempted, what would Jesus do? We have to take that moment to focus on our hearing and what we're listening to, what we're indulging in, so that we make those right decisions. So you must know your life purpose when you are in the midst of a battle. If you do not know your life purpose and you are in a battle, it is a battle. It is a true battle, and we're talking about victory. We're talking about a vision. There's a lot of things that God said regarding our vision, and not necessarily our sight, but the vision, like seeing what he is actually saying. That's why he said, write the vision and make it plain. So we're writing the vision for today, for our victory over our distractions, over our temptations. We are getting that victory. Victory, and we are defining it. We are outlining it. And as we continue to go through and discover more about the life purpose, we'll be able to run with it. You know, run with that vision that God gave you for even for today. And this is daily. We ask God to give us our our daily bread. So we're gonna read. Psalms 71:17-18. And it says, O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. Now also, when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation and thy power to everyone that is to come. And that was something that the writer claimed, that these verses, um, he claimed that over his life for the, you know, for the rest of his life. And just, you know, asking the Lord not to forsake you, um, and until he has shown his strength to the generation and the power to future generations. That's something we can do daily. Lord, forsake me not. Um, That that gives me the word. I guess I can share that word. Let me see words because it was a whole word. I say a whole word, a whole word. I guess I could share it today because it kind of runs into that asking the Lord not to forsake you. And he says in Isaiah 49:13-16. Um, well, Isaiah 49:15, I will not forget you. So we're kind of asking the question, when have you forgotten something important? How does God's strong memory assure you? It's important that we, you know, we do these devotions daily, daily devoting that time back to God that he's given us, so that— and doing it as quickest, you know, in the morning when we wake up. Like, I'm devoting this day to you, Lord, to guide me, guide me, strengthen me. And we have to pour out our, our hearts. That's our understanding. That's why he said lean not into your own understanding, but trust in the Lord with all your heart. So you have to trust in him that he will guide us daily And provide us with the plan that he has for us. Even if it's just a smidgen into your life purpose, trust and know that he will not forget you. So as we go through today and being fruitful and multiplying on the word of God, we want to multiply his word in our lives too and multiply our time that we're giving back to actually hear and then also be doers of the word so that we can Stay true in knowing, knowing that we have the victory over our focus, over the distractions, and to be able to hear what God is delivering to us every day in the moment to win those battles every moment. We know that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, so that's a whole battle for your mind. Protect your soul. He's Guard your heart above all else. So guard your heart—that's your understanding. Be true to your understanding. Don't lean to your own understanding because then you're leaning onto your heart. But let Christ come into your heart so that you can understand what God is trying to say, tell you, and having that faith. Faith is trust, trusting in the Lord, trusting in the Lord. The more and more you grow in Christ, the more and more you'll be able to walk by faith. And that's the trust that you have with God, that knowing that he is with you. And he said in Isaiah 49:15, I will not forget you. So make sure that you go out today, be blessed, and be fruitful and multiply.
