Lies insurance agents are told about lead generation and Meta ads. Lie number 5, you can avoid running your ad in the Meta special ad category. Oh my gosh, this one is crucial that you don't fall for it. I literally got an email from a student that just enrolled in my course, and before they're able to start the course, they're still working with a marketing agency. And this marketing agency told them that they could avoid running their ads in the Meta special ad category if they just made their ad a little bit more generic. They told them that this would allow them to target the right audience and that it was completely safe. It's not completely safe. Look, that is like having a tax advisor that says, I know a loophole where you don't have to report this income. Cool, it's awesome until the IRS audits you, and now you're the one that's having to pay the penalties and you're the one that's having to deal with that mess. Meta special ad category, it's not just a suggestion, it's a requirement. What is at stake in today's world is Meta is banning you, the person, as the advertiser for life. I'm not kidding. They aren't just banning ad accounts anymore. They're banning you at a personal level where you are not ever able to run Meta ads ever again. And I'm going to tell you, the risk is definitely not worth the reward. Why do they pitch a workaround? It's most likely because they don't have the skill set to generate great leads using the Meta special ad category. It does take a different skill set, and I'll tell you what that is. It comes down to your ad's messaging being so specific that people either self-include or they self-exclude. Remember, we live in a day and age where the content finds the user. Meta knows if the video is about baby elephants and that the person will stop scrolling when they see them. That's me. They know if the person is interested in AI. They know if the person is around this certain age group. And once they kind of hone in on who your ad is resonating with, they're going to find other people that look the same way as that. Agencies are trying to find workarounds because they're not very skilled at conveying a message that's going to actually attract the right lead. I always say don't fuck with the IRS, CMS, or Meta. Look, we are playing on their playground. It's important that we play by their rules. And I'm here to tell you that you are still able to get optimal results running in the Meta Special Ad category. Look, this is a lie that I really don't want you to believe because it really does put the life of your account at risk.
