In this demo, the presenter showcases the Resume Architect application, which helps job seekers align their resumes with specific job descriptions. The user selects a target job title (e.g., Software Engineer), uploads their resume, and copies a LinkedIn job posting (e.g., Machine Learning Engineer) into the tool. The application runs a natural‑language‑processing analysis using cosine similarity to compare the resume text with the job description. Results are displayed with highlighted key terms that appear in both documents, a match score for the overall resume, a table of the top ten phrases from the job description and their corresponding resume phrases, and an importance metric for each phrase. The presenter explains how low similarity but high importance items indicate opportunities to improve the resume by incorporating missing but critical terms.

So here's our application. So it's, it's pretty simple to use. So it's asking for your, your current slash your potential job title. So I'm just going to put a software engineer. So here we go, we choose software engineer. It's asking me to upload my resume. I'll go ahead and upload my resume. And then it's asking me to pick a job, so a job description essentially. So if I just search for machine learning engineer on LinkedIn. And once I'm here, I go to jobs, and let me just pick this one. So here, so I just go from technology part until the end, up till here. So that's what my resume should pertain to or should be similar to. So I have pasted it in here, and I just have to press analyze after that. It's running. So essentially natural language processing is taking place here where it's trying to gauge the similarity between the job description and your resume, after which it's gonna give you results. Okay, so here we have our results, wherein we see, that's my resume. Now, uh, we can see that it's highlighted certain terms, uh, and, and those terms are key terms in the job description as well. So hence they're highlighted and they're also put in this table on the left. Then it's given me a resume, a math score, and it's also picked out the top 10 phrases from the job description and, and, and the phrases from my resume. And these phrases have been then matched via the similarity score, which is cosine similarity, which is a natural language processing technique. And we clearly see that, that this is a statement in the job description, and we see it's only 12.68 similar to ours, whereas the importance for it is 72. So maybe this is how I could go and optimize my resume by adding this in or trying to see about how I can— yeah, basically how I can fit this in.
