Shloak Rathod built a system that watches a live YouTube stream, detects people, and flags those standing too close with red markers. When the high-risk count spikes, it sends an automatic alert via Twilio to a phone number, letting staff respond fast. The same approach scales to multiple CCTV feeds across public spaces.

Introducing the Social Distancing Analyzer. So this is a live feed of the Santa Claus Village, which is streamed live via YouTube. We're gonna use this video to analyze it and count the number of people in the video and subsequently throw error warnings at a particular phone number. So here we've run the script and here we can clearly see that it's detecting total number of people and as the people come closer together, it'll mark red spots around them, like for example there. And then it would obviously increase the high-risk count because those are the ones in red. And then a message will be sent to a particular phone number via the Twilio API, and that particular phone number can then come to this area to maybe ask people to enforce the rules and maintain social distancing when required. This could be a solution to practice widespread social distancing because or you can have a look at multiple CCTV cameras at the same time and therefore stop the spread of COVID-19. So, thank you.
