Hi, good morning and welcome. Welcome to day 4 of 31 Ways to Be a Happier Parent. So today I'm going to give you 3 sets of— I'm trying to distil this down to make it ultra, ultra simple and ultra fast because I know that as parents the Scarcest resource of all for you is time. So I'm going to go through 3 very simple questions and suggest some answers and hopefully get you thinking a little bit more about happiness and help you see something new. Okay, so the first thing is, what is happiness? Now you're all going to have different definitions on this. At its heart— get it? At its heart, happiness is a feeling. It's a feeling, isn't it? Whatever you— whatever your definition of happiness, if we go up a level, it's a feeling. Okay, so the next thing is, the next question is, why do we feel the way that we do? Why do we feel the way that we do? And that is gonna— that you're gonna come up with loads and loads and loads of different reasons. why you feel the way that you do, or why the way that we feel the way that we do.
Third question, where do feelings come from?
And this is the crux of the matter. Yeah, crux of the matter.
What's the word? Where do feelings come from? Our feelings come from our hearts.
That's the only place they ever come from. That's what the whole heart thing is about. It's about our feelings. So where's our heart? Haha, fourth question. Hadn't seen that one coming. Our heart obviously is in our chest. So as my friend Richard says, this chest that we've got here is a treasure chest. Every feeling we've ever wanted is in our chest right now, is in that chest right now, waiting for us to let it out.
That's it. I've done my two minutes.
I've hit my two minutes thirty goal. Let those good feelings out, guys. Have a great weekend. See you soon. Bye bye.
